[00:00:00]Hey everybody, Tom Carnell here. Carell Knowledge, a show I do here on YouTube every Monday and Friday. And then I do these daily shorts uh recommending and reviewing books and movies and uh records and all that kind of stuff.

[00:00:13]Today I've got something for you that's pretty cool. Uh found this on Tuby for free. It is called Il Grande Culpo Deo Chinquino aka Seven Golden Men Strike Again. It's from 1966.

[00:00:31]It's directed by Marco Vicario who directed I guess the prequel to this called Seven Golden Men. Uh it is it stars Phipe Leroy who is in the Night Porter and Lem Nikita. It stars Rosanna uh Rosanna Podesta who is in Helen of Troy, Ulisses and the Seven Dwarves to the Rescue. Um, uh, also stars Gaston Moshen, who is in The Godfather 2, and Gabriella Tinthy, who is in Beaks, the movie and Flight of the Phoenix. It's kind of wide there. Um, it has to do with a group of men who get captured by US agents during an attempted bank robbery. To avoid jail, they must uh kidnap a Latin dictator. Um, super uh, how I want to put this, very Austin Powers. I'm sure this is something that Mike Myers might have may have looked at when he was doing the Austin Powers films. Um, again, it's the sequel to Seven Golden Men. It's part of a a spade of films that I You've heard of Spaghetti Western? Well, this was referred to as Spy Getty, which kills like Italian spy films. Um, it's played more for laughs than thrills. moves away from the feasible to a more liveaction ftti style like say danger danger diabolic or the aforementioned Austin Powers.

[00:01:53]In the film though, Rosanna Podesta steals the show uh steals the show here as the slinky and resourceful Georgia with catsuits, multiple wigs, and contact lenses. The proceedings are all very very groovy and of their time.

[00:02:08]Technology on the screen is downright archaic, almost silly at times. Um but uh yeah, it features a lot of crosses and double crosses until uh in the end a delightful uh culmination of the main leader plans come together. It's more like in like Flint or the Avengers than James Bond. Uh yeah, it's totally ridiculous. Uh but it was really really fun. I had a good time watching it. U and I am now in search of the prequel.
