[00:00:04]His patients came seeking help. The CIA paid to erase their minds. Between 1957 and 1964, psychiatrist Donald Euan Cameron conducted human experiments at McGill University. He believed mental illness could be cured by destroying a person's identity and rebuilding it from scratch.
