Citizens have a First Amendment right to record police officers and other public officials in public spaces, and law enforcement cannot detain individuals solely for exercising this constitutional right; attempting to silence cameras or detain someone for filming in public constitutes an unlawful violation of civil rights.

The Officer Quickly Realized He Detained The Wrong PersonAdded:
I don't know, why are you filming?
I've been working on a project. Okay.
Well, there's a lot of people here that haven't signed waivers.
Waivers?
>> property. Yeah, you can't record people.
>> This This is private property? You see what he's doing?
>> Why are you recording people? Is that not Don't record me. Why >> Well, don't talk to me if you don't want to be recorded. Why are you recording people? It's so invasive.
>> Because I have a right to.
with being filmed, yet constantly try to draw attention to both the cameraman and themselves instead of minding their own business. The best part is when they call 911 and waste taxpayers money to bring a tyrant to the scene, only for him to end up turning himself and the entire police department into a complete joke.
Um I don't even have to tell you all this. No.
>> Well, do you guys have ID? I'm not going to provide ID.
>> going to provide ID?
>> No. So, therefore, we're going to have a problem. Call a supervisor, please.
You're going to You're going to make a mistake, man. Do you think this police officer handled the situation correctly or did he completely cross the line?
That's exactly what we're going to break down in today's video. So, make sure to watch until the end because the real purpose of these videos is to test First Amendment rights and the freedom to film in public spaces. What the cameraman is recording is not the issue. Just because someone dislikes or disagrees with the content does not make it illegal. Most importantly, these videos provide valuable knowledge, especially for law enforcement, and that has always been my number one priority and main focus. At this [music] point, I'm just getting calls that you're just making people feel uncomfortable.
>> Is that illegal? Can I finish? Thank you. The manager is asking you guys to leave. You guys are refusing to leave.
>> This is a public sidewalk. This is their >> Can you please get a supervisor? Thank you.
>> need to bring a supervisor, do you? Now, I want to give a special shout-out to Antbo Media because what he's been doing lately is truly deserving of respect.
He's been putting in real effort and standing firm in defending his rights the right way. So, make sure to show him the support he deserves by subscribing to his channel after you finish this video. His channel link will be pinned right below in the description, and don't forget to tell him in the comments that Audit Justice sent you. Enjoy the video, everyone.
People are asking if they're feeling uncomfortable being videoed right now.
Would you mind stopping? I got guests complaining about it. I know you're not probably allowed to >> feel comfortable with you guys. What's going on? You don't feel comfortable?
Yeah, they're just uncomfortable. They don't want to be on camera. They don't know what you're doing. Well, I mean, I don't know what to tell you.
You can buy me a round or something. I don't know where you going.
I'm going to working on a project. Okay, that's fine. Well, there's a lot of people here haven't signed waivers.
Waivers? private property. Yeah, you can film This This is private property? The restaurant is >> And this is inside of it. You can film people >> This is a sidewalk, bro.
It doesn't matter. Yeah, it does. Does it? Yeah, I got people complaining.
>> I'm not allowed to do that? Okay. If you want to be tough about it, let's just I'm not being tough about it, but I mean No, they're just saying that people don't want You can't do that. You can't disrupt people out in public, man. You can't film people out in public? Not in private.
Okay, well, let's all I just called the sheriff. Call the sheriff.
All right. It's just people are saying, "Sir, that's the one." A couple of people said, "I'm saying no." Call the sheriff, it's fine. I got everybody saying no.
No worries. All right. No, they'll come and talk to you, not me.
Yeah. They're not going to say anything to me.
You want You want me to thumbs up or What are you guys doing?
What are you guys doing? What you see.
What are you What are you guys doing?
What do you What do you see us doing?
>> Why are you recording people? Is that Don't Don't record me. Why Well, don't talk to me if you don't want to be recorded. Why are you guys recording people? It's so invasive. Because I have a right to. That's your point. You have a right to film her all day? Yeah, and I'm working on a video, yeah. For what?
What's your video on? None of your business. But if you're publicly exposed in it, then can I ask what your business is?
I'm on a sidewalk. That's what you guys don't seem to get. I'm on a sidewalk.
Yeah. Sure, I'll still talk to you guys.
I'll educate you.
I've said this many times before and I'll keep saying it again. If you don't want to be filmed, then trying to jump in and attract the cameraman's attention is incredibly stupid. There's nothing smart about it at all. That's exactly why I enjoy watching videos like these where people turn themselves into complete jokes without even realizing it. He probably already knows he's about to end up all over social media.
Absolutely amazing. Now, let's see just how professional this police officer handles the situation.
How you guys doing?
How's it going?
>> What's up, you guys? How's it going?
Officer Gonzalez, I'm good. What are you guys doing here? What are you guys calling me for? Uh am I being detained?
Yeah, I need to talk to you guys for a sec. What am I being detained for?
>> That's what I'm trying to figure out, dude. Are you guys in trouble at this point? They called, so why don't you talk to the reporting party?
>> Let me talk to you first, okay? I'll step over here and talk to you.
So, just just Yeah, just to make it clear, are you detaining me? I am cuz you guys are not in trouble yet. Okay. Okay. If you're detaining me, what crime do you suspect me of committing?
>> At this point, I'm just getting calls that you guys are making people feel uncomfortable.
>> Is that illegal? Can I finish? Thank you. The manager's asking you guys to leave. You guys are refusing to leave.
>> This is a public sidewalk. This is their >> Can you please get a supervisor? Thank you.
>> need to bring a supervisor, dude. If you're If you're illegally detaining me I'm asking >> and telling me I have to leave a public sidewalk >> to leave, then I'll be detaining you. If not, there's no Are you Are you telling me that I have to leave a public sidewalk?
The owners have asked you to leave, right? This is not their property. This is a sidewalk.
>> people feel uncomfortable, you know?
That's not a crime. We're trying to do service here, dude. That's not a crime.
>> It is a crime. I have not I have not impeded in with their business in any way, shape, or form. Do your investigation before you detain me unlawfully and make a mistake. I'm just working on a video, man. And first of all, I I I really Are you Are you here to police people's feelings or the law? The law, dude.
Okay, so So, if we >> Please tell me Please tell me if it's >> told you to leave the property, dude. If you're not going to do it, then we got a problem. We're we're we're not on the same page here. This is a public sidewalk.
>> They own this block.
>> Please call a supervisor. They don't own the sidewalk. Please call a supervisor before you make a mistake. Take a seat or leave. I'm not taking a seat. I will stand over there, but please call your supervisor. You're going to make a big mistake. What's the mistake? You're going to be liable for a civil rights violation, and I will take you to court, and you will lose your qualified immunity. I will attach myself to your pension, so please call a supervisor for your own sake. This is a public sidewalk. The restaurant doesn't own it.
Okay.
This is your time to leave. And just so just so you know, um I don't even have to tell you all this. Well, do you guys have an ID? I'm not going to provide ID.
>> You're not going to provide ID? So, therefore, we're going to have a problem. You need to give me ID, dude.
Call a supervisor, please. You're going to You're going to make a mistake, man.
You're going to make a mistake. Call a supervisor.
I'm going to stand right over here.
This guy's a tyrant, absolute tyrant. He doesn't know about the law.
Tyrant.
I believe this is the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, if I remember correctly. But this deputy, yeah, it looks like he's calling his supervisor while at the same time unlawfully detaining this man. What do you guys think about that? Let's keep watching.
How you doing, sir?
Morning. Are you Are you a supervisor?
I'm not a supervisor. Okay.
You got a supervisor coming?
You guys have a supervisor on the way?
Uh there was one but he got called away.
All right, thank you.
What was your badge number? What's that?
Have a good day.
Uh supervisor not coming? Okay. What was your badge number?
0857?
Hey, um Get out of the road, dude.
Don't give me directives, please. I'm not breaking any laws. Okay, I have a question for you.
Actually, can you just learn the First Amendment, please? And don't willy-nilly detain people for no crime.
No crime at all.
You're dismissed.
Tyrant.
Great job. Now, let me know your thoughts in the comments about this entire situation. Personally, I believe this officer was wrong from the very first moment he detained that man without any lawful justification. And don't leave just yet because I've added a bonus clip at the end of the video.
Honestly, I found it pretty funny watching the bank employee approach Amfo Media with confidently misplaced ignorance, only to quickly get a reality check. Hello. Hi. Hi. Do you have a work order to take pictures? A work order?
What do you What's that? What do you mean?
Oh, just a project I'm working on. Just a project you're working on? Okay. Did you speak to Trace? Were you supposed to take pictures inside? I'm outside. Yeah, I understand, but you're taking pictures of the inside of the building, which has to go through management and they have to let us know.
Uh nope, didn't speak to anybody.
I won't be long. I'll maybe like half an hour, 40 minutes. No, sorry. You can't You can't be taking pictures of the inside of the building. So, I'm not inside. I'm outside.
>> No, but you're taking pictures of the inside of the building. So, I can take pictures that way?
But not this way.
Even though I'm not inside.
>> Yeah, exactly. Uh I don't think that's correct, but You can protect it. That's uh yeah, that's always for you to protect, not me. I'm on the sidewalk. I understand you're on the sidewalk, but it's just that you're taking pictures of us without our consent.
Right, cuz I'm on the sidewalk. Yes, you are on the sidewalk, but you're turning your camera towards the inside. Right.
Yeah, yeah.
If you need to escalate it, you can. I don't know why you would escalate a a photographer. Doesn't make any sense.
