[00:00:03]Hey everybody, it's Yocum Heiden and I'm back with the Italian versus Heiden campaign. It's June 26th, 1942. This is my third turn today with Italian. We've been really moving turns and I love it.

[00:00:14]Um obviously we we gave him a a pretty major defeat last last turn with the um repelling of the um invasion of or the resupply attempt at Port Blair. Unfortunately, here we go with the long with the night bombing again.

[00:00:34]I put some NYX up to try to get to do something to stop it, but I don't think it's going to help much.

[00:00:46]Um I don't know what we can do to stop this, guys. I think we just have to eat it.

[00:01:24]Um I'm putting up the NYX to disrupt the bombers, right? To try to hurt their aim. I think I'm costing myself a lot of aircraft doing it, but it it's hopefully cutting down on damage. I I hope. I don't know.

[00:10:09]Um So, we did push one up, but we still got the looks like the brigade is still in place.

[00:10:58]It's not nearly as bad as I thought. We lost 13 NYX today. This is not by any means the worst that I've ever experienced. This is okay.

[00:11:07]I lost way more before. So, we shot down three B-17s, two Marauders, two Hudsons, and a B-25 Mitchell, and a Liberator.

[00:11:15]Uh LB-30s, he only has 24 of these. So, you know, I'm okay with this. This is not a bad trade considering. And most of these guys were shot down over my lines, and these Oscar 1 Cs I can replace these all day and twice on Sunday.

[00:11:29]Um so, four wounded and four killed pilots, that's not so great, but other other than that I'm I'm I'm okay with this.

[00:11:37]Ship sunk, nothing reported this turn.

[00:11:40]Uh army lost points ticked up for the allies a bit.

[00:11:43]Uh score is more or less the same.

[00:11:48]All right, so the only thing I can see here that looks a bit uh unnerving is this. There is an allied sub near Tsushima.

[00:11:57]This is crazy to me. Like to him that him pushing up in here.

[00:12:01]Um we have to punish this severely. So, I'm going to find some ASW assets, i.e. these killers right here.

[00:12:09]And I'm sending them over there because they're hungry.

[00:12:12]So, I'm going to send these guys to go deal with that and hopefully ask can this sub. Starts with the word ass and ends with hint.

[00:12:21]Um we'll fly out of um Fusan, but this is a suicide run. The sub has nowhere to go but out, okay? It can't go here. It's going to hit mines at every other base.

[00:12:32]And honestly, my ships are done moving anyway because we've pulled all of the resources out of Fusan we're going to have for now. So, these guys aren't going to sail anyway.

[00:12:42]So, this was a bad move. But, this tells me that he went all the way through here to get to this point. I don't know why you would send the sub in here like this. We're going to punish this.

[00:12:59]I'm sorry. We We We We didn't take this unit. We only hurt it.

[00:13:03]So, we're going to deliberate attack again. My problem is once we get to Wonsan, we can't do much because there's still a retreat path here. I'm pretty sure even with all of this heavy terrain, these guys could get there.

[00:13:18]So, we need to wait to take these last two units in this base until this unit gets into Cashcar, and that's going to take weeks.

[00:13:25]Cuz it's just a very slow ride.

[00:13:28]Because if not, they're going to have a retreat path and we're going to have to stay here and deal with this guy for forever.

[00:13:35]All right, what do we got down here? Um I'm going to send these guys in here. I want to bust this unit open right now.

[00:13:59]Okay, at Changsha, I had a very successful attack. I'm actually really impressed by how well that went. We got We knocked the forts down to two very easily with minimal casualties. So, if I take a look at this, um I'm going to go ahead and put everybody into reserve, and let's go ahead and rest a few turns.

[00:14:17]This tank regiment, we're going to go ahead and leave them on defend.

[00:14:21]These guys, oh, I'm sorry.

[00:14:25]Uh let's see. This guy looks good. We'll put him in reserve. Basically, I'll do this on my own, but um we're not attacking anymore here.

[00:14:35]This division, um took some losses.

[00:14:40]These guys look pretty good.

[00:14:43]All right, so we'll divide all this up and we'll wait a couple turns, but I'm really impressed by how well this went.

[00:14:49]These guys here are badly degraded, so I don't have no problem with them going into you to get beat up some more.

[00:14:56]We won in this hex, which means now I can send um this division towards Changsha.

[00:15:07]This regiment can keep moving that way.

[00:15:15]This division, I'm going to have them go to Changsha.

[00:16:09]Uh okay. So, night bombing here at Magway. We're losing some aircraft, but the base is intact.

[00:16:16]Uh forts about to be the four. I'm hoping that helps us with this. Uh some of my I lost some some mix, but uh I think we're okay to continue doing this one more night.

[00:16:33]Just like I thought, he's got I'm thinking he has um Yeah, look at that. He put AVPs here, guys. So, I'm going to use my paratroopers to land on these bases and capture them and capture the aircraft and maybe we can take up take these guys out as well.

[00:16:55]Uh looks like he has definitely abandoned his efforts to uh deal with Little Andaman. I see him retreating now. So, looks like uh yeah.

[00:17:15]Okay, over here at Malange, um I'm just resting up, guys. We have a lot of fatigue to recover.

[00:17:23]It's going to take us a few days to get there.

[00:17:26]I'll have the bombardments keep on it, though. We're still killing stuff. It's just taking a while.

[00:17:38]I got 4,500 AV, but it's just not enough.

[00:17:43]I need one more division. We really need one more division here.

[00:17:49]And I think the only one that we've got that's ready is going to be eighth division, and it's not quite as prepared as I'd like it to be. So, maybe one or two more days we can go back in.

[00:18:09]Okay, it looks like we're all done out here, no further activity. And over here, I don't really see him much, either.

[00:18:20]Nope. And over here, looks like he landed another big unit.

[00:18:25]And these poor guys are done for.

[00:18:30]And these guys will be the next ones to die.

[00:18:32]But, um I I need to maybe try to get some ships up here to intercept the next attack.
