Gamifying intervention-free miles masks the reality that FSD remains a supervised tool vulnerable to the slightest mapping errors. True autonomy isn't measured by long streaks in ideal conditions, but by the system's ability to handle the unpredictable without human bailouts.

Tesla FSD, Can you have an Unlimited FSD Driving Streak
Added:left here. Let's see if she does it.
Yes.
So, so far, [clears throat] so good.
But, do I see any charge ports available?
No. It is all taken, which is fine with me. I don't really care.
I don't really care.
So, [snorts] I'm not sure if there was a charger there. Is it open here?
There is Yes, there is a spot.
There is a spot, but it's not a charger.
Okay, so she's going to park next to the Cybertruck behind me, but it's not a charger.
It is not a charger.
She just parked because that's the only that's the only uh place she found.
Okay?
All right, guys. Thank you for watching.
Hi, everyone. This is Moshe the Electric Israeli on FSD.

If you're in the market to buy a Tesla car that drives by itself like I am now, use my referral code, you get 3 months of free uh FSD, which is amazing.
And I am in South Florida on Route 95 north. I am going to a Supercharger in Oakland Park in the area of Fort Lauderdale.
And uh one of the things that a lot of people online, YouTube, and um you know, and and X, Twitter, formerly Twitter, brag is their streak. They show uh screenshots or whatever of uh you know, 5,000 mi, 10,000 mi, I went cross-country without touching the steering wheel.
Now, let me tell you something. And I've been driving Tesla cars since 2008. I I think I have about half a million miles with all the driving of Tesla cars if not more. But, that's not the point.
Tesla FSD in this version 14.3.4 is not good. It's a It's amazing. It's amazing. I drove from New Jersey to Florida.
At one point, I had 1,000 km, like 650 miles in a streak, meaning from my house to the supercharger to the next supercharger to the like all the way that the car backs up and you just get out and and and charge it. And then the streak ended. Why? Because in some areas, in some superchargers the car doesn't take the right the right way.
It gets into the supercharger just ignore all the charging points and just continue going.
Tapped into me Port Saint Lucie in in Florida.
Uh it it's not perfect. Give you example. Where I live now in Florida, I moved we I moved to Florida uh just last week after 36 years in in in um in uh New Jersey.
And I Here's what I tell you. My building, where I built where I live, the right turn to go into it or the left turn is not marked by Google Maps. There's a restaurant next to it.
So, it will always go to the restaurant.
And I have to take over. I have to. It will get me there.
I can go to the restaurant, let it park itself and the right, and then go out and drive so I can maintain my my streak.
But, the it is not possible to quote unquote continue any streak without some kind of a minute intervention. Now, minute Can I just tell you something? You see my right foot? At one point in our drive, my wife was my wife was driving driving the car was driving and she lifted her foot like I am right now and moved it over to rest it and by mistake grazed the brake pad and touched it and there goes the streak.
Meaning, what was that mean that the car is not good? No, the car is amazing.
Okay? Meaning, you can end the streak by accident. You like by accident you by you moved your feet too too much or whatever or you dropped something could be anything and you touch your brake. But, let's say that doesn't happen. That's just an accident.
Anything having to do with a parking lot.
It might do the wrong thing.
Anything having to do with making a a turn into a structure that is unmarked like the you know, sometimes you see it is you see you see here it says unnamed road.
Some unnamed road may not be marked and the car will go someplace before or after because it doesn't know where to go. So, this has to do with the map not with that. The car is fine.
The car will do exactly what you want the car to do.
And the car is amazing.
Now, why am I telling you all of this?
Why is this even important? Why do you care Mosha? You drive. You need to take over. Take over and do it. Okay, here's why I'm telling you. Because we are talking about driverless autonomous cars. Now, I've seen some horror videos of Waymo cars not finding the right terminal in an airport to drive to drop somebody off. This guy was stuck in a in a in in a Waymo car going merry-go-round round and round. The car did not know where to exit, which terminal to take.
Because of whatever reason, the guy got nauseous, had to call had to be rescued from the car. Just stop, let me go. I'll walk.
Okay? Now, why why is that important?
Because it's important because a robotaxis are only in its certain geofenced areas, but when it expands it expands. Sometime you I mean, li- listen uh uh uh so robotaxis is supposed to pick up and drop off. So, curbside drop off pick up.
And I've seen Tesla robotaxis like totally miss the the passenger and keep going and driving.
And you have to walk like a minute or two just to get there. Th- That's the point of what I'm telling you.
The point is that it What the car is doing now is amazing. This Jeep just cut me. Whatever, it's no big deal.
You know, it's fine. I I just drove in Miami. It was fantastic. No problem.
So, what I'm saying what I'm saying is that there are certain things that I don't know if they're not I don't know if it's even solvable.
Meaning an autonomous driverless car, Tesla, may miss something maybe because of the maps. Because Tesla insists to just use this. Do you know what I'm saying to you?
So, it's not that I doubt people who say, "Oh, I showed I I put a link for you of my video.
I I I'll show you at one point 1,000 km, 650 mi or so of of not touching the steering wheel.
And then when I had to touch it just to park to back up to a supercharger.
That's it.
So, I drove from 1,000 almost 1,300 mi completely and totally not touching the the steering wheel except for those couple times that I had to just back up and charge my car. That's it. Legit.
Totally legit.
Okay? So, I'm going now to I'll be there in 3 minutes. Just hang on with me.
In the in these superchargers. I've been there many times and the car had no problem finding the the right spot to to charge because it's like by a wall or so you have chargers to the right, chargers to the left and sometimes the car just pick something and does it and it's it's I mean it's fine. It's it's not nothing wrong with that. But the point is that, you know, it it can mess up and if you are in the car you're going to take over and end that streak.
Okay?
So, maybe the car can say, "Okay, we understood why you end the streak.
Let's continue with your streak." Okay, not that I care about these things. The only thing I care about is how is that going to play out when robotaxis ro- rolling the world.
Okay? And from my experience, it's really really the maps. Google Maps in some countries Google Maps in some countries, they are terrible. They stink.
Okay? They they totally not updated. In here, too. Sometimes they will just not take the right exit. They just it's the way it is.
Just the way it is. So, what do you do if you are in the car? Let it go and not do the right thing?
You know what I mean?
Okay, so here we go. We are going to be there in 2 minutes. We're taking this exit.
Taking this exit.
And I will let the car take us all the way to the a spot.
And let's see if it doesn't miss anything.
Let's see if I have to intervene. Okay?
That's that's the point. So, we're going to be there in 1 minute.
And it says here charger. Yes, that's where I can do a parking or I can do a street drop-off, but we're going going it a charger because that's what the car is in. By the way, from what it looks like, there are no chargers available.
Huh, that is even more interesting. So, what would the car do? Oh, you know what?
I'm glad I'm glad you asked.
So, there are no I mean, it says that there are no chargers available. By the time I get there, there may be a car that left. Sometimes it takes time for the system to update. Okay?
So, let's see what happens. That is interesting.
That is interesting.
All right, let's see what happens.
I'm going to veer to the right.
And the car will go to the make a right and then Now, let me just show you let me just show you in a minute. Let's say I'm driving, not the car.
So, we're going to the right.
See that?
I will make a left here. Let's see if she does it.
Yes.
So, so [clears throat] far, so good.
I do I see any charge spots available?
No. It is all taken, which is fine with me. I don't really care.
I don't really care. So, I'm not sure if there was a charger there.
