Robotic lawn mowers like the Navimow x430 can efficiently handle multiple properties when installed with proper satellite navigation (RTK) systems, and properties with stone borders allow the mower to ride directly along edges, eliminating the need for manual edging while enabling neighbors to share the equipment for cost-effective lawn maintenance.

Zero Weed Wacking Robot Mower Setup w/ Navimow x430 — Perfect Wilmington, DE Install
Added:Hi everyone, Paul here with Zippy Lawns and I am in Wilmington, Delaware doing another robotic lawn mowing install.
This one is actually quite unique. We have the RTK unit. This is what's getting the satellite reception for the robotic lawn mower wall mounted here and we've buried the cable and the customer here has the perfect siding for the robotic lawn mower. We have stone siding here which allows the robotic lawn mower to get its wheels up onto the side and eliminate all the edging.
Now, another first for me here was a great idea to put the charging station under an existing roof here and I was a little bit worried about it because as we all know, these robotic lawn mowers do need to have satellite reception and uh it was okay because we put the RTK unit over here on a post and extended it over here. So, everything is working great. Let me show you the robot over here.
>> [snorts] >> It comes down a little ramp off of here into the yard and this is the first customer, although I think it's probably not the last, who is going to be mowing her neighbor's yard as well. So, super cool. Uh the robot's all the way over here already.
This is actually a kind of interesting spot. The robot is getting deep underneath the bushes, a place that a lot of normal gas mowers cannot get to.
Um so, I'm really impressed how nice everyone is here in Wilmington, Delaware cuz this mower can actually do a full acre.
Um the cuz the homeowner here was actually willing to mow her neighbor's yard as well. So, at Zippy Lawns, we're thinking about having some type of share and care program where neighbors can offer to help each other cuz that's what this is all about. Having great lawns, automating lawn care, and having neighbors work together. So, just wanted to show you this is the Navimow X430.
Um Yes, it is a little big for this lawn.
It can do a full acre, but it really just warms my heart that the homeowner here is willing to do a few of the neighbors' yards as well because it's capable of that. And we've got a professional install here. Currently, it's doing the perimeter. So, the perimeters of this property are really ideal for robotic lawn mowing. You can see the robotic lawn mower is going over the side of the driveway. And the reason why we do that is cuz the cutting discs are underneath the robotic lawn mower cuz we want to reduce or eliminate all of the edging, all of the string trimming that takes so long. On this property, almost all of the edges, we've been able to get the robotic lawn mower to be able to go onto a driveway, into the stone areas, under the bushes. So, this robotic lawn mower is going to be able to do a lot of work. And from a return on investment perspective, when we have three neighbors, two or three neighbors coming together and eliminating their gas mowing lawn bills and gas mowers, we all know how loud they are. This mower is whisper quiet. So, this is about as quiet as a dishwasher.
It's 55 decibels. Gas mowers can be up to 80 decibels. They can wake up the neighbors. They come at all kinds of times of the day. This is going to be absolutely silent.
And the thing I like most about this scenario, again, actually right here, is how close it can get to the edging because of the way that these stones are. Now, I know not everybody has this type of scenario where there's actual stones. This is ideal where the robotic lawn mower wheels can get up into the stone and do all of the edging around the property.
Now, in some cases we have mulch beds, sometimes we have driveways, but this is actually a perfect scenario where this robotic lawn mower is going to be able to do all automate all of the lawn care for not just one homeowner here in Wilmington, but at least two, maybe three, we'll see.
So, I know at Zippy Lawns we will help with the mapping and we're happy to map a neighbor's yard as well if you have the excess capacity to do so. So, very interesting charging station location. I think that if you have an overhang like this, this allows you to have Now, most of the time we will stake these down, but we actually used some heavy-duty 3M tape here with so that it is steady here because over time as it charges off and on if this moves, that is a problem. The entire system will break if the robotic lawn mower doesn't automatically come back and charge because it probably takes about 2 hours to mow home number one, comes back and charges for 90 minutes, and goes back and actually does the neighbor's yard over here. Um so, we're building out that schedule, doing the training and testing. Let us know what you think about this robotic lawn mower install, and thanks for watching. Bye.
