This video demonstrates how to create a tiered pocket journaling card system where multiple tags slide 'all the way down' for extended writing space. The process involves cutting paper to specific dimensions (9.25 inches tall, 4 inches wide), scoring and folding to create deep pockets, and attaching decorative tags of varying heights (3.5 to 7.5 inches) that can be pulled out for journaling. The technique uses 65 lb paper for tags and 80 lb craft cardstock for the back piece, with optional decorative elements like vines and brads to enhance the design.

Wacky Wednesday | The Tags in these Pockets go "All the Way Down"Added:
Hello darling. It's Jennifer from the patio. Welcome to my channel. Glad to have you back. If you're a returning uh visitor, if this is uh you coming and checking this out for the first time, then I want to say welcome and I hope you enjoy what you see and you come back and hang out with me some more. So today I am continuing to work in my drifting through quiet light journal. And so I'm going to make I'm kind of I don't know.
I'm kind of going through old journals of mine that I've made. And just, you know, cuz we forget and I really do. I created, just so you know, I created a kit for us to make like a, you know, big book of ideas or a book of ideas so that we can have something to look back at.
But that's what I do is I look back at my old journal. So, I've been going through this one and I saw this and I'm like, you know what? I want to make that. I think I really like that. And so, um, it's just another way for us to add tags and all kinds of goodies. And so, I made a prototype, if you will. And so, it has a pocket and a pocket. And they all are deep. So, they all go down all the way to the bottom. So, you know, you're not just getting a pocket that goes like that or like right there, but they go all the way to the bottom. So, that is what we are going to make today. It's very simple. And the thing that you're going to need, you're definitely going to need some uh some paper that is portrait because you're going to need a nine and a quarter and uh you know to get the height. Let me take a drink of my coffee because it's delicious and I like it when it's hot. It is my second cup. Okay. They always have like a little quarter cup, like a little demi toss after I have my full one because I have my full one at like 6:30 in the morning. But anyh who, so you're going to need and so I was picking out some paper and I really love this and I think it goes really well with the kit colors. So you need a back piece which is kind of sturdy. So you can either use, you know, regular paper.
This is 65 lb. Uh this is 80 I believe.
And then this is 65, but it's that craft card stock, so it's a little bit sturdier.
It's I mean, it's a little bit flimsier.
I want to say it might even be 45. I don't know. I'll have to look. But anyway, so I'm I picked this cuz I really like the color. So, what we're going to do is we are going to cut it to nine and a quarter high. That's how. So, we're going to go this way and we're going to cut it at nine and a quarter.
And I got out all of my fun stamps, my word stamps, because I just want you not to forget about all of your word stamps, cuz this is, you know, this is just the fun part of decorating and, you know, it being what you do with the last. And I just have I I have so many and I know you do, too. And I I need to use everything that I have. Okay. So, let me get this out. Now, first thing we're going to do is we're going to cut it to 9 and 1/4. And this is 11. So, we're going to take off 1 and 34, right? I didn't say I was good at math, so stop it. Okay. 9.25 1.75 is one. 910. Yes. So, 1 and a4. So, let me just do that. that. So, I'm going to do one and a quarter. It's just always easier to go backwards than it is to go to add and do all those do things. So, take that off. So, that's the height that we want. And then I believe we are going to make it to where it is.
We want it to fit on our page. And our page is of course, you know, you take it 11 for a signature. Where's my signature that I always have here?
laying around. This is one of my pages.
So, you take a page and you fold it in half. And of course, this is 11. So, when you fold it in half, this is 5.5.
However, you don't want it to go too far, you know, you always want it to be at least five or smaller. So, that it because you don't want it too close to the seam because when you sew your signatures in, it'll be crunched in there. And you don't want it too close to the edge. So, I usually do about 4 and 1/2, four to four and 1/2. And I believe this is four. Pretty sure it is.
Yes, it's four. But then it just is it's a nice little even. And then what we're going to do is we're going to attach it to the top and the side and the bottom and then have a side tuck so we can have an extra little tag there. You know, we're always looking for some place to shove some more tags. Okay. So, let me see if this is going to fit in here. And if it isn't, I think it will.
I think it will. I think it will. So, we're going to make it four.
Four. It is. That's the part I cut off.
So, I Let me see.
I don't know why it just looks like it's not.
Okay. Look. And I have another piece I can do something else with. Okay. So, I know you look at this and you think, "Okay, well, that's easy. You're just going to" But this, the way I do it is I fold this part up and then that's what gives us the bottom piece that isn't glued. It is and it's all sturdy and it's just it's ready to roll, right?
So, let's So, let's go fly a kite. I sing that to my grandson. He loves it. Okay, so it is going to be two and a quarter. So this is n and a quarter. So we're just going to go 8 and 1/4, 7 and 1/4. We're going to go to seven because we want it to be 7 in tall. So you're just going to score on the seven.
Okay. So I'm just going to repeat myself because I don't want to go so fast. You want it to be 9 and 1/4 in tall.
4 in wide. And then you're going to score on the 9 and a/4 inch. You're going to score at seven. Okay? And then that leaves you with this piece right here.
And then we're just going to fold this up at the bottom. And that's what gives us that you can't go any further than that without having to glue or anything like that. So, um, let me just kind of burnish this down. And then I'm going to round the corners. Just the top and then this bottom portion right here.
So, let me get my corner rounder. And I think I'm going to do the large one. So, on this one, it is 10.
Yeah, 10 mm.
And now this is, like I said, it's about a 80 lb. So it's when you double it, you got to use two fingers.
And then I'm going to do the top.
Okay.
So there's that's your piece. And I'm not going to do this cuz all the other ones are going to be straight. Now we can we're going to decorate this and put some some fun stuff on it. So then what you're going to do is you're going to get some just some regular paper and I I'm using this which is 65 lb when I print and I did it so there's nothing on the back cuz you don't want to waste your ink. So what you're going to do is you're going to cut we're going to cut it four. So let's go ahead and do that because that's it's four inches wide. So, whichever way you want to do it. And I think I'm just going to use this side.
So, I'm going to do four.
Save that for something later. And then what you're going to do is you are going to cut and let me let me just make sure, but I'm I'm pretty sure that it is 1 and 34 sections. And you're going to make three of them. Let me check.
Yes, we're going to do one and three4s.
And so I'm going to I love this. So I'm going to start at the bottom.
So one and three4s. And you're going to you're going to cut three three of them.
One.
One and three4s.
Two.
One and three4s.
three.
Okay. So, and let's try to let's keep them in in order here.
So, here's what I do. Now, if you don't want to measure and be precise, then you don't have to do this. But what I do is I get my scoreboard out.
I lay this like this.
And then you want this piece to go underneath here at least before we glue at least you know a/4 or 3/4 of an inch so that you don't see right. So your pieces are going to go like that actually. So what I do is I take the first one and then it is I'm going to do it is I'm going to take it down to three.
Let me see if that's right.
I mean, I know it is, but because it can be whatever we want. Um, that's going to be one and a quarter. That looks about right. So, what I do is I mark it. So, on this one, and you're not going to be able to see it because I always put it down down a little bit more. So, I mark this here.
And then the next one I take and it's going to go underneath this, right? So let's see. So you want one and a quarter to show. So let's take it to two, three and a quarter. We're going to go here.
Okay. Oops. Sorry about that. Okay. So, we're going to go to two and a quarter and then because 3 and a/4 is one and then we want a/4 of an inch. So, we want one and a quarter to show. Does that make sense? I hope it does. And so then we're going to mark right here. And it I can always undo that. I mean, I can always erase it. And then this one is we're going to put it on the one And what I do with this is I mark it up here at the top on the actual back piece. Okay? Does that make sense?
And then make sure you keep those in order.
And then we're going to ink cuz that's what we do. We love to ink.
Ink ink.
And I'm going to go ahead and just ink it because I want to make sure these edges, even though I'm going to close that up and it's going to be covered, I don't I want all the edges to be inked.
And I'm sure that you all have seen this or made one, but they are just fun. Now, the back we don't have to worry about too much because it is going to be glued down.
Is that the mailman, Bubba?
How rude. He always comes when I'm filming.
Okay. So, there's that. So, that's going to go up like that. And then you have that on the side.
Okay. And then we're going to do these as well.
So, I believe this one was first. So, let's ink that. I want it to really stand out.
You're not going to see the bottoms.
So, you don't have to worry about that.
And then keep them in the direction that you're going because it does get a little confusing.
Okay.
So, that's going to go there.
See how my little I say it every time I'm doing it and then I just keep doing it.
Okay. There.
Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Okay. So, then I turn it towards me and I kind of try to line it up to where it's just, you know, right in the And then I get my trusty hand, my third hand.
Excuse me. Okay. So, this is the top and then these are the other two. So, this one goes first. So, let me turn them like upside down. So, this one, see how I marked it? I'm going to put that one down and I'm going to cover up that mark.
You're not going to see it. You're not going to see it. Don't worry. Don't worry. Okay. So, I'm going to turn it over. And I know which direction because I did not ink the bottom part. Right.
And all you're going to do is the sides.
You're not ink. You're not putting glue on the bottom. You're just doing the sides.
Okay.
And then it goes up like this. And then there's that mark. And then I go just above it.
And then I put this down.
I don't want that glue on there.
Okay, good to go. Okay, so the next one. Make sure that this is the one that matches up. And it does. And so I'm going to put this one on top of this. And the mark is uh Oh, where did I put it?
Did I not put a mark on here?
Oh, it goes like No, it goes like this.
I did that one, but I didn't do this one. Okay. Well, that's okay. So, I want it to be one and a quarter showing.
So that's going to be there. One and a quarter showing.
Oh, I did it on the wrong one. Sorry.
Um, one and a quarter.
So, it's going to go right here.
So, I'm just gonna mark it just little bit just I'm going to do it underneath.
Okay, I see it. Okay, so let's do the sides with glue.
I thought I marked that one, but I guess not.
Unless I have them in the wrong order.
Unless I have them in the wrong, it doesn't matter as long as they all match up.
And honestly, it doesn't matter even if they don't match up. Okay, so there's that little mark. So, I'm just going to put that one there.
I mean, they're overlapping, so they're not really matching up.
I did mark that one, but let's go ahead and take that one off.
I think I put them upside down, but I wanted the yellow to show, so I'm okay with that. So, that's going to go here. And it doesn't matter, honestly.
It's just if you want them a little bit uh to, you know, even as far as what's showing that way. They're they're all, you know, they're all even. Okay. So, this one and then this is going to cover that up.
Yeah. So, this one goes here.
And I'm just going to put that a little bit above it.
Just want to make sure they're even.
Okay. And then, see, you're only doing the sides. So when you glue them all down, when you put the top card in, it's going to go all the way to the bottom and then all the way to the bottom. And so this one folds up and it folds up just like that.
Isn't that cute?
I don't know why that doesn't look like it's even.
I tell you, my cutter sometimes I wonder.
And then I'm gonna bring it in on the little curve so that I know it's nice and secure.
And then I'm just going to lift it up.
And I could have put like another like a another yellow piece in between, but you you're going to see this, but you're not when you start putting your tags in, you know?
Okie dokie. Let me ink a little bit because they're not going all the way to the edge, but that's okay.
And then let me just ink that part.
Okay. And so that is the pocket. And so it has one, two, three, four. You could you could glue it in and just do the sides and the bottom. So you could have a really tall one.
But I'm going to do it to where it's on the side. Okay. So, let me put this in so art won't be contankerous today. Let me put this on. You know, I'm real weird about making sure I pick everything up.
And then I think I could take this and decorate the bottom. But then there's a part of me that's like, no, I think I might want to use something else to decorate. Okay. So, now that we have all of that done, I can start putting some tags in. So, I'm going to put this to the side and take a drink of my coffee again.
I love having coffee with you. It's one of my favorite things to do.
I have um some girlfriends and we always like to go to Galveastston and eat because there's this place called Mods Coffee in Galveastston and and I think I've told you before and it has this amazing trellis that covers um in pretty much the very front part of the restaurant of the coffee shop outside and it's covered in jasmine.
covered and the little sparrows and the war were warbles and the little birds fly in and out. They they're in there and um so we sit underneath there and it's just oh it's so pleasant and beautiful and we have coffee and little treats and we just enjoy ourselves. So I'm a big coffee coffee shop kind of girl. Okay, so this is four but because I put some glue in there, we probably have to go a little bit skinnier. I don't know if I want it that skinny, but any I have some of these. This is three and a half by six.
That might be okay.
Um, but I may have gotten it. No, it looks like it's okay.
Okay, so that one's going all the way down. I want it to fit in here so that you see.
So, do I want three and a half? I think we're going to do three and a half. So, here's a bunch of three and a halfs.
Okay, let's use that. So, I have this one and this one. These are smaller.
I don't want to cut those if I don't have to. Let me see if this is three and a half. It's looking like it is.
Is this three and a half? Looking like it is. So, I could cut that one down.
And you know what I'm going to do is I'm going to round the bottom. So, when it gets down here, because remember I put that glue there. It's not going to be a problem. Okay. So, we're going to do three and a half. So, that is good.
Good. Good. Good. Let's use those. Just lose what I have. And so, we need one.
That is Let me get out my pencil. And I will be writing on my desk cuz that's what I do. I want one that comes about 3 and a/4. So I need one that's 3 and a/4. I want one, let's see what three and a quarter. It's about right there.
So I want one that is 4 and 1/2.
I want one that is five and a half.
And then we want Do I want a tall one?
Well, of course I do. Seven and a half.
We're going tall with the top with the top one.
And I think this one is seven. So, we may just do that.
Let me see what that does. And I may have to trim them down.
Yeah, it's not tall enough, y'all. I'm sorry. I just can't do it. I've got to have it taller.
Let me see if this is three and a half.
Yeah, let's do We're going to use this one.
Yes.
And I believe, loveies, that I want it to go up here.
Let's cut here.
I don't know what that is, but let's cut there.
Oh, whoopsie.
Let's cut that.
That's probably That is about seven and a half.
Okay, there's our seven and 1/2. And then we need a five and a half.
Let me see what this is.
This is almost five and a half. So, I'm not going to cut that one.
And then I needed a 4 and a half. Let's see what this is. Oh, I don't like that one cuz it has that on there.
Let me see. This is six.
We have our seven and our five and a half. And this is I need one that's four and a half.
And then I need one that is three and a4. And this one might do it. Yes.
And it's cutting all that off.
Looks good to me.
Okay.
And that's And then we still need one that's going to fit in the side. So I have some of here that are 4 by six's.
So that's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what I said. That's what I said. I said it and that's what I mean.
Okay.
So, what do we want to cover these with?
I want to use the vines.
And I kind of want to do I lost my eraser, you guys. It's just really bothering me. It's on the floor somewhere. I mean, it can't be because I clean my I mean, there's nothing on my floor. I'm not one of those kind of people that has stuff all over the floor, but I um which there's nothing wrong if you do. I'm just saying that I don't know where it is. I think somebody took it or it fell in a basket or it's in one of my drawers and I just can't see it. I don't know. But it's really irritating me because I need a good eraser.
And it's gone.
It just hight tailed it.
Okay. So, um, and then this one, not that you're going to be able to see it because I think I'm going to use a pretty vine on that. Okay. So, these are all of the cards and I'm not going to cut do the corners until I cover them.
So, we're going to cover with some pretty stuff.
I kind of I kind of like this.
These are the colors here. I kind of want this to be this this one. Okay. So, let's do that.
Let's do that. So, I'm going to turn it over. And yes, there's stuff on the back, but it just is what it is.
And then, let me get out my glue stick.
the way I moved my um my camera when I lean in. I'm sure you can probably see me, but um just ignore that.
Just ignore that part.
Okay.
H.
So, today is wacky Wednesday, but it does I'm not doing anything wacky, you know. I'm just like just steadily working in my journal and working on kits in the background. You know, I'm always working on something. I have one coming out that is called the Crooked English Garden and it's just cute and I love it. But I love all my kids. I don't know why. You know why I think I love them is because the colors I can create the colors and the mood and that's what I love. So I create what I love and I hope you do. I hope you like it too.
Let's push it. Push it. Push it.
Okay. And I hope you do too because, you know, sometimes we create things for ourselves and it's like other people are like, "Oh, I don't really." And that's fine. I totally get it. It's like the grunge when I make grunge. You know, not everybody's into grunge. But I have to say that some people have been turned on by the grunge that I've created because it's not your typical grunge, which is good. I like that. Okay, while that's drying, we'll do the next one.
So, I'm going to pull this back out and let's look and see what I have. I don't want clouds. That's the other part of that.
I do think I'm going to use this for the middle one. So, we did the top and then this one.
One, two, three, four.
I think I'll do it for this one just so it matches.
So that is this. So Oh, and look, it fits perfect sideways, does it? Yes, it does. Well, that's what we're going to do then.
And then that way it will not I will still have some left over to use.
Anyway, I've just kind of been playing and doing different things. And I told you yesterday that I've went to It's not an estate sale, but it was kind of a leftover from an estate sale.
Tons and tons.
I mean I it just amazes me uh how many books I mean I'm a book reader and and just the versatility of it you know I was like man uh the gentleman worked at NASA and um he was just into all kinds of things I mean and I just love it and she did needle point and she was into flowers and so anyway I um I'm very excited about the books and I cannot wait to show you what I have and to share them with you.
If you would like to have some.
So now I do have this but I think I may that's okay. I should have done it on the other side. I don't know. I think it came off whenever I did that. So let's turn the page on this. Let's get a clean page.
Okay. So, next. So, I have I have um I have this. I'm going to have this.
You know what would be pretty in here in the kit? I've just printed the kit and this is what this is. And they're all double-sided. But I'm looking for the blue.
Yeah, I just think that would be pretty as one. What do you think? And then I could make one that's the flower on the other side. I think so. I like it.
Yes. It's a Yes. It's a Yes, it's a yes.
Okay. So, let's cut that real quick. And let's see. I don't want to cut into that.
And I do want that. So, I'm going to cut this as a three and a half. Didn't we say we were going with three and a half?
So, let's cut that. I already did the tall one, but maybe I can do something else.
And then I'm going to do three and a half.
I mean, even if you cut the flowers off, it's still so pretty. Look at I mean, just that. It's so pretty.
Okay. So, this is going to be the middle one.
Make sure I cut it right.
Did I? I mean, it's a little short of what it should be, but guess what? I can just cut a little bit off this. And I'm okay with that.
Honestly, it wasn't exactly three and a half either. See? Okay. So, now let's see if it works good.
Yes. Okay.
Flip that baby over. We're going to do it at the top.
So, let's get the blues on.
Anyway, I just am just enjoying this is turning when I do this, it's make turning this file folder like a weird color. Do you see that?
I think that's where it came from.
Anyway, I've just been doing some fun just different stuff and um honestly just playing. I love to play.
I love to play, which is what we do every day when we're playing in our junk journals, just playing, enjoying.
Okay.
Okay. There's that one. Let those dry.
And then the very bottom one, you're not going to see a whole lot, but I think it'd be pretty to have this flower on here.
So, this is 3 and 1/2 by 3 and a4. So, it's 3 and 1/4 high.
But I want this flower. So, let's put that like this.
And then we'll cut it to three and a quarter.
And hopefully I'll have that right.
Let's see.
Yes, that'll look good.
That'll look nice.
Okay, let me put that here.
I don't know. The weather has been so beautiful lately. I just want to go walk the strand or do something. Go to Mod's coffee shop. You know how when sometimes weather directs my mood? My mood.
And it's what I want to do.
Okay, let me pull this. Pull this down.
Make sure it fits good.
Looks good.
And you know, I don't know about you, but I am a-ok okay with having the file folder on the back because it's a good writing space, but then I can just like decorate and, you know, put some stenciling or something on the back.
Okay. So, we'll let that one be the one I do last. So, the first one that we're going to cut is this one.
Let me put the lid back on my glue. Take a sip of my coffee.
Okay. And then we're going to keep this cuz look how pretty that's going to be.
Something that's going to be something pretty.
Okay. So, let me clean that off and then I'm going to cut.
And I'm going to use I'm going to use this because I just it's easier than using my scissors and I know it's four and I can get it as close as I possibly can and then if I need to, I can cut some more off.
Nice.
That's number one.
Okay, number two was this one.
You know, honestly, I didn't even have to back it cuz now it's a double card.
What is this?
Three and a half.
I'm just going to cut this in to three and a half because I don't need it to be so I could just have that.
Hello. I don't know what I was thinking.
Okay. And now these it's okay to have a little bit of sturdiness and to have some back writing writing space on the back.
See just that. So pretty. I mean it really is. Okay.
So, we have this one. We're going to have that one. We'll have this one. And then we'll have this. I think that looks really fabulous. But I said I was going to do the bottoms. So, I'm going to do them in the large like I did this.
So, there's that.
Now, I could make these just journaling cards instead of tags.
Whoops, that one did not go over well.
Thank you. Shank you. Shank you with a shiv. Okay, I'm sorry.
Um, trying to think if I just want to do journaling cards and just or if I want them to be a tag shape.
Let me think about it.
Now, in the book, they're just different. See, this one's rounded and and not I mean, I just These are just I don't know.
Let's put them in and see. Okay. So, we have that one. Now, because I did back them, they may be a little bit tight going in because there's going to be all of these going in together.
Probably should have kept them thin.
That one goes down.
And this one will go in if I can get it.
Got to make a little room.
I mean, we're talking like four cards down in there. So, yeah. Okay. So, there. And then this one.
What do I want? Do I just want them to be rounded?
I don't want them to be tagshaped.
I think I'm just going to round them.
H I'm wondering if I need to have That's a lot of H. I mean, it is what it is. I've already I've already backed them with file folder. You don't really have to if you're using 65 lb, but what was on the back of some of these was more decoration. So, there wasn't really room for I I like it. Okay. So, let me do these now. This one because I kind of want to have I I'm going to do this one as a T. I kind of want to have some sorry silk something at the top that just is spriging out, you know? So, I'm just going to do this.
So, are you guys big foodies? Like, do you like to go and try new restaurants and have new experiences and stuff like that? I love Indian food.
This was the first one and second one. I can make this a tag shape, too.
And then that way we'll have every other one.
There's so many really, really fun restaurants um in this area. I mean, we're right by Houston, so and then we're right by Galveastston, so I mean, there's just plenty to do, that's for sure. Okay, so this is going to be rounded, but in Galveastston, oh my goodness, there's just so many places to go. And if you have never been on a cruise, it is so inexpensive. And the cruise ship goes out of Galveastston. Disney actually goes out of Galveastston now.
Oh my goodness. You know what would be fun is for us to have a crafting cruise.
Would that be fun? And look, I cruise quite a bit, so maybe I could get us some discount tickets. Okay. Would y'all be interested in going on a cruise? I know you never met me, but I'm, you know, I'm kind of fun.
But I mean, wouldn't that be fun just to go on like a just a 4 day, you know, three to four day cruise? We could go to Kosamel or whatever, but um while we're on the ship, we could be, you know, crafting and making a journal and just having a fun time. Wouldn't that be just a blast?
I mean, they have cruises like that for all kinds of other things, but I mean, I think it'd be fabulous.
And I'm a big cruiser and so um and I can get cruises pretty cheap. I mean, I can get the rooms and, you know, get them in a discount. So, but anyway, if that is something that you would be interested in doing, let me know because I would do it in a heartbeat. I was telling my husband that yesterday. Um, you know, we always talk about, you know, just what's next on our plate, like what are we what are we wanting to do? And um and I said, you know what I really want to do is I really want to have a retreat, just a fun retreat for crafting. And I also um am a me, you know, am a member of a place that I can have retreats that's not open to the public. And so it is in the Hill Country.
And so I I could do that as well. you know, we all stay in one it's one big it's I mean there's rooms and each room has four bunks in it and there are four rooms so you it can it can house quite a few people and um let's see one two one two three four there was one yeah there's four so that's 20 I think it houses 20 each each house holds 20 but anyway if it's something that you think you'd be interested in, really let me know because I think it would be so much fun. But I was telling my husband that and I said, you know, we could go to Trinity Pines and because and it's beautiful. I mean, and they have all kinds of fun things to do. They have a lake and you can go kaying and um it's just a fun place to go. And so anyway, if that is something that you're interested in, I would be just thrilled to put one on. I really would. So, just let me know and um and then it'd be something I'll start working on. Okay. So, I really want to put something in here. So, I'm going to and I think I'm going to do a grommet instead of a um badge tag. I'm just going to do And we're doing gold on this one. I don't normally do gold, but I did buy it and I thought, well, I've got it. I just think that gold looks will, you know, it's going to look really good on this one. And I need to stop talking because I don't know how. Let me look and see how how long I've been yakking with you already. We're already at 46 minutes, you guys.
My my my how time flies when you're having fun.
Okay, maybe it's cuz I'm always cleaning up after myself. I don't know why, but I just feel like I'm always taking so long for such a just a small little craft.
Okay, I'm getting my strength back. I don't know why I lost it, but I did.
Okay, so let me get my sorry silk out. I only have two that are really and I really like this one. And I think I'm This is the one I'm going to go with is this one. Oh, you know what? I had a piece that was left over from yesterday.
How about that? Oh, wait. This one is cut.
That won't work. We'll use that for something else. Okay. So, this one is cut, too. So, let's go ahead and use this piece.
Is this one cut in half already? Yes.
Yes, it is to there.
Okay.
So, let's just take it through the back.
I'm not a serial killer or anything.
I mean, just in case you're want to know.
I mean, not lately, you know, but um let me tie this so that it will stay.
Okay. So, that will stick out of the top.
I don't like it when I tie it because then it makes them go like instead of up and I want them to go up, but I can train them. I will.
Okay. So, let's get that.
Okay. I like them. I like them. And then this one will go in here. And it is a tie. Is it once I start getting in I may take this one off the um I mean they're going in fine now. And this um I need to put something on that for sure. That's what I need to do.
I think I'll put a I think I'll put a brad in here. I've got all those beautiful colorful brads.
that I can put in here. So, let me just do a small hole.
And let's see. Let's see what we have that matches. That matches. How about this such a pretty pink?
Or if we're going to go blue on here?
No. Yellow. Yellow. I have this one.
What goes with this color?
Maybe just cream.
You know, we're always trying to go fancy instead of just Let's just do cream.
Now, when you see the pictures of of this, um, I am going to stamp on these and stuff. I stamped on the ones yesterday because I got all my stamps out and I'm like, you know what? I love sentiments and I just want to stamp on it. And I keep my journals unless somebody asks for them. and someone did ask for the last couple that I've done and so I did sell them to them and so and I will sell this but um if someone asks for it but I like sentiments I'm a I'm a sentiment girl you know I love that okay where's my other one to it is okay get over Yeah.
Okay. That is cute. Okay. So, we're going to glue it down at the top, the side, and the bottom. And we're going to stick a 4x6 card in. But guess what I'm going to do, and this will be quick.
We have all of the cutouts. If you bought the kit, you received nine pages of tags and pockets. And you can just these are we're going to just stick in at the very last. But I think I'm going to use one of these as the pull out. I'm going to attach that to that card.
And I want something with the pretty blue. I just love this.
Okay, let's see which one I love the most.
And we're just doing the 3x6. I could have used the tags on here, but we'll use those for something else. Okay. Oh, this one's pretty.
And it's blue. Okay, that's the one we're going to use.
That's it. That's what we're doing.
Okay, let me see. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to attach it to there first and then I'm going to cut it if I can see it from behind. I probably can't.
That won't work. I was trying to make it easy.
Okay.
The reason I even included these was because they are 5 by sevens.
When I created them, they're 5x7s.
And so I was like, well, I'm just going to put them on. I'm just going to make some journaling cards.
That's what I'm going to do.
Okay, I know this is four, so I'm just going to put it at the four mark and hope that it doesn't cut off too much of it.
And then this is six.
Okay, those I can throw away. And that is over there. Now, it doesn't have anything on the back, but guess what? It's white.
And so I'm okay with that. Let's see if it matches up fairly well. It looks like it will.
It looks like it will. Okay. So, let me see if I can use the rest of this. It looked like it still had a little bit on there.
And off camera, I will use it by digging in there and getting it out, but not on camera because it does take a little bit. But it looks like I'm going to make it.
Looks like we made it.
Okay.
I'm not a singer, but I do like to sing.
So, don't worry, you're not going to hear me like blurt out a whole bunch of stuff.
But it's, you know, every once in a while, I just like to Okay, that looks pretty good. I think that came out really well. Okay, so word of advice when you're making this, don't necessarily, if you already have 65 lb paper, probably just go with that.
But because it's pretty thick, I mean, they're going in okay, but here's the problem. When I glue it in, it may it may do it may say, "Oh, you know what? I don't like that. It's a little too tight." So, I may have to redo these two. This one I'm going to leave. But these two I may have to redo and just not have them backed and then I can use those in something else. Okay. So, let's just finish. So anyway, that's just a little, you know, I'm just crafting, so we're just doing this. You know, some days I'm just flying by the seat of my pants, ladies and gentlemen, which is how I like to do it because I don't know what I'm going to do. I know what I kind of want to do, you know?
It's like that. I knew I wanted to do that, but I just didn't.
Look how pretty that's going to be. And then that's just going to come in like this on the side. Love it.
I love it. Okay, so that's just an easy tiered pocket. I'm sure you've made one before, but how fun is that?
Oh, I'm going to have to back that because I did it on the wrong side. But I just didn't know if that was going to come through or not, the little shme.
But um and you know what I have?
Yes, I have one of these left that I cut out and I can definitely put that on.
Everybody needs a little tab just so we know that we can pull that out.
Okay. And okay on the top and on the back. And I like to do the inside when it's white because that way it you don't have to um because I notice when I fold it, I still see a little bit of white. So when now I don't see the white. So let's do that. It's going to come out. And I think I'm going to put it on the page.
So it'll come out like this cuz I I I want to kind of I don't want to cover that side up. Excuse me.
I told you I'm still a little flept.
Hello.
You can come out now.
There it goes.
Come on.
I think whenever I do this and I push that stuff back in there, I don't know why it gets I'm being diligent about putting it back in.
How rude.
Okay, let's stick that down first and then I'll do the other. That way I can get it exactly where I want it to go.
I kind of want it to be right on the edge.
That looks good.
I saw something come out of there.
globby some kind of glob of something. Okay, done.
And I won't even clear up my desk before I say goodbye to you. Thanks for coming, hanging out with me today. I appreciate you. I really do. And um you know, I shall see you tomorrow. That's going to go in just like that. Pretty pretty.
Then I'll stamp stamp. Got some sentiments sentiments and I'll put those on there. So, thanks for coming and hanging out with me. I'll see you tomorrow. But remember, you only know what you know until you know something different. Bye-bye.
