Okay, now they're going to be all right.
Going to get you, baby. Go get you today.
>> Oh, Mummy and Monkey. Did you know that if our viewing audience out there switched over to channel 4, >> they could watch The Shadow?
>> Oh, >> it's No, listen to this. A visually stunning version of the classic radio series with Alec Baldwin as Playboy Lamont Cranston.
>> Oh yeah, that was an actual movie that came out at the actual movie theater.
>> You know, I don't think I could watch anything with Alec Baldwin.
>> H >> he's just all the Baldwins. There's always a new one coming up >> and none of them are bald either. That's really weird, isn't it?
>> Yeah, that is a good point. No, I can never trust TV God. Oh, good lord. Look at this.
>> Anyways, welcome to the show. We're going to have a fun night tonight because we've got the mummy and the monkey all the way out from Cleveland, Ohio.
>> Oh yeah.
>> Oh my goodness.
>> And boy are our arms tired.
>> That must have been a long drive.
>> Well, we flew.
>> Yeah, you could say that. Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, that's good. So, uh, a monkey with wings just like in the Wizard of Oz.
>> There you go. Got us here in eight hours flat. No problem.
>> So, you know, I'm I'm having a difficult time determining how I should describe you. Are you horror hosts? Are you simply internet, YouTube, TV personalities?
>> A little bit of both, I guess.
>> Are you superheroes here to save the earth?
>> Not quite.
>> And if we are, we're doing a bad job of it, let me tell you.
>> You could be. So, Horror Host, right?
>> Yes. Yes.
>> That's the best one. And then you've got your own channel on YouTube.
>> We do.
>> And we find that by going to >> watchmummy.com and it takes you right to our YouTube channel.
>> Watchmmonkey.com.
go there and subscribe because you know they they they they need love too. You know, we have so many people who love us and we need to spread some of that love to other stations as well. And it's a fun show because you do yours live.
>> Yes. So, we host the Harry Scary Hangout on most Friday nights and it live streams on our YouTube channel, right?
And it's a little more interactive.
People comment, they make fun of the movie and uh Grimgory puts really fun sound effects in the movies like burps and farts and all kinds of silly things.
>> Oh, good lord.
>> Oh my. Yes. We also have some bits and skits that we do with different characters that we come up with and we just have a whole lot of fun with everyone.
>> So, but what's different is we have a live thing too when we premiere our film, right?
>> But we're not there answering the questions whereas you are there people talking. You'll say, "Oh, Joe in Philadelphia says this."
>> Yes. And we'll read comments. Um we also do prize giveaways and it's uh Yeah.
that's a little more interactive >> because the prizes are things that you collect, right?
>> Could be or something. We even have, you know, some of our fans send us stuff to give away as well. And yeah, Janet uh writes the names down through the whole episode and then puts them in her mummy bucket >> and picks a name at the end of the show and they will receive the said prize.
>> Now, I've watched your program and I noticed that she does the majority of the work >> while you make irritating sounds and comments. But that's what I'm good at, so why not just stick to that? You know what I'm saying?
>> He's very flatulent.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. He likes to monkey around.
>> Does that Does that bring you more viewers?
>> I don't know. We're thinking of having Andrew help with that department.
>> He probably could.
>> He could. No, he he claims he can. We don't have firsthand experience, but we'll have to find out. All right.
Tonight, we're going to watch Mr. Sardonicus. You two have seen this film, and you know it well.
>> Oh, it's a fun movie.
>> So, it's about a man who smiles, right?
Somewhat.
>> Something like that. Yeah.
Unfortunately, it's to his demise. But yeah, he has a sardonic smile. I guess that's why he calls himself Mr. Sardonicus.
>> Mr. Sardonicus. Oscar Homoka, Ronald Lewis, Audrey Dalton, and Guy Rolf. And you know, I I think those names >> are are quite unusual. I I I don't think they should be said in that order.
>> They should be like said separately with a large pause in between each one. I don't know. They sound German.
>> Is this a German film? You know, I'm not sure. Maybe Livingston would know.
>> Livingston, >> isn't he from Germany?
>> He won't watch these types of films.
>> He doesn't like them.
>> I don't blame him.
>> No, it's not that he doesn't like them.
He actually despises them.
>> Oh, really?
>> A bit different.
>> He'd rather watch The Sound of Music for the up teenth time.
>> Oh, >> that's a pretty scary movie if you ask me.
>> All right. Well, let's let's go ahead and start the film and then when we come back, we're going to learn more about The Mummy and the Monkey. All right. You guys stick around. We will see you soon after the next break.
this portion of creature features. is brought to you by creaturefeaturestore.com, the official merchandiser of Creature Feature accessories.
>> What have you done with the mummy and the monkey?
Do you believe her?
>> I do.
>> I don't. No, she she's never fought a chimpanzee before. She They have strength more than her. She's strong, but chimpanzees are much stronger. And she's got a creepy baby, too.
>> One can only hope.
>> That's right. Anyways, welcome back to the show. Uh, Mummy and Monkey will join us soon after she gets out of the seat.
But, uh, for now, we're going to do some mail, right? Because we have mail from people.
>> Nice people.
>> From Alfie.
>> Alfie. Wasn't there a song about Alfie?
>> He wanted to know what it's all about.
>> Oh, Alfie wanted to know what it's all about. All right. Uh, Alfie says, "We have been watching your show since the very beginning. Back when the reading the mail portion was a humorous break from the movie. Loved it." Well, it's not now. He's the humorous break from the movie.
>> Indeed.
>> Back when Vincent interviewed interesting talent and or bizarre guests like Bob Wilkins did. Loved it. Well, we've got interesting guests tonight.
>> Indeed.
>> No. How often do you see a mummy and a monkey on a TV show at the same time?
>> We usually enjoyed the movie, but that is only half the reason Creature Features became a Saturday night thing at our house. We really enjoyed the three of you and the rest of the crew just as much. P.S. We watch you on TV streaming channels. Cheers, Alfie. Well, thank you so much, Alfie. And uh you know uh Bob Wilkins he did interview some good people we'll never get. He interviewed Boris Caroff.
>> He got he interviewed Boris Caroff like >> as well >> and William Shatner and William Shatner won't come on our show.
>> Next up >> I wonder why >> you.
>> So anyone who calls the house hears his voice go hello mansion this is Mr. Livingston and they hang up on him.
>> Indeed. Indeed. Give me some mail, Mr. Livingston.
>> Gareth Marshant.
>> Gareth Marshant. What a name. He should He should start his own clothing line >> or be an author.
>> Or an author. Well, he wrote this letter, so that's a good start. Hi guys from Belfast, Northern Ireland. GB Great Britain. You know that stands for Great Britain, >> doesn't it?
>> Just wanted to say I love the show so much. So, I just purchased a home projection screen cinema to watch creature features in all its massive tin toil tinfoil screen glory. Now, that is a perfect use for a projection system.
>> That is a word salad.
>> It's a wonderful word salad because we are the Caesar dressing on the top. More 70s Elen Studio Studio budget horror please with fading big screen superstars. I love these. P.S. You guys remind me of the Wayne's World Live FM basement in Aurora. The only way to make bigger and grandest. Please say hi to Betty. We bake and wake up. And she loves the show. Gareth Moshot. So, thank you Gareth. And uh that's a great idea with the projector, right?
>> It's a good one.
>> I think so. Next up, Mr. Livingston.
>> Marvin Kesler from Modesto, California.
>> Modesto. That's not too far, right?
That's close to where Zetro lives. It's >> an hour or so.
>> Hour or so. All right. He goes, "Uh, dear Creature Features, I've been informed by my brother-in-law that I watch this show every week, which is not accurate. I merely leave the television on while doing other things, and Creature Features happens to be there like mildew."
>> Interesting.
>> I thought you'd go into screen letters like this.
>> Well, finish it.
Your host appears to believe he is guiding the audience through something important. This is admirable though confusing since the films themselves seem to actively resist explanation. I get the impression he prepares remarks in advance only to realize halfway through that none of them apply to what's actually happening on the screen.
>> That's a lot of words to explain nothing, is it not?
>> There was a lot said there.
>> Right. The movie this past weekend appeared to involved a monster, a poorly lit laboratory, and several adults making decisions that would get them fired from any real job. I stopped taking notes once I realized the monster had better motivation than most of the characters. You know, he should be a real film critic because he sounds like one.
>> He does, doesn't he?
>> Right. I will admit the show grows on you. Not in a healthy way, but more like an unfamiliar skin growth that you ignore at first, then monitor nervously and eventually realize it should be removed by a qualified dermatologist.
Yeah, that's the best description of our show that I've heard.
>> It's rather accurate.
>> It is. Please do not interpret this letter as encouragement. Sincerely, Marvin Kesler, Modesto, California.
Well, thank you so much, Marvin. We need to send him a fruitc cake or something during Christmas. Should we not?
>> Delightful.
>> I think we should. That's it.
>> That's it.
>> That's it for mail. If you'd like to send us mail of your own, visit Hello Creature Features, little website that explains how to send us a odd piece of email or something in the mail like a cover for this creepy doll of hers. Or if you'd like to send us a giraffe, we can use a giraffe because we need to trim those tall trees in the front yard.
>> Please ignore him.
>> Maybe. Anyways, uh let's get back to the film and when we come back, we will have the mummy and the monkey with us. Stay tuned.
No feet. No feet. No feet.
Hello, this is Livingston. Apparently, one of my newly acquired domestic duties is to request help for our show financially by asking you to visit our patre page. Your generosity will help keep Creature Features on the air, which I'm not entirely sure is a good thing.
However, with only a few dollars a month from you, your kindness will allow us to continue creating new programming each week, which apparently some of you curiously enjoy.
And should you have the desire to give even more, you might even receive a gift from Miss Tangela.
I think not.
Please visit the website below to learn more. Thank you.
Tangela, clean up this mess.
Oh, demonish his skin.
Welcome Back to Creature Features. If you're just now joining us, you're very late. I don't know what to say about you because you're missing the mummy and the monkey. You're missing Mr. Sardonicus.
You're missing my shoe. Tune in sooner next week. In any case, we're we're glad you're here. And uh we've got some fun things about this movie. You were telling me about this film.
>> Yes. Yes. It was made in 1961 by William Castle. You know, the guy who was a big gimmick film guy. He had, you know, House on Haunted Hill and this movie, Mr. Sardonicus, was uh kind of inspired by the Hammer films that he loved so much.
>> And those Hammer films are those English movies, the English studio.
>> No, I'm quite familiar with Hammer Films.
>> Yeah. That had like Christopher Lee as Dracula and so on. You know, >> I was thinking of starting a a horror film company, production company called Sledgehammer Films.
>> Oh, right.
>> Has a nice ring to it.
>> No, it'd be like bigger but not necessarily better, right? M >> would it take place would the movies take place in a creepy castle like the Hammer horror films?
>> No, I think they should take place in in in a a strip mall >> in Los Angeles, >> right? Because No, no, those are horrible already. And if you just had a few horror elements, it could be even better. Is Tangela back there? Tangela, show your face.
>> She's so ter Oh, that's not your face.
>> Oh, hello there, beautiful. Where you been all my life?
You know, she dug that that smelly thing up. So, uh anyways, you you do conventions.
>> Yes, we've been to a lot of uh conventions in the Northeast Ohio area.
Uh some in Detroit, Michigan, uh Midwest area.
>> Right. Right. So, you you do those those shows pretty big out there. From what I understand, the Midwest likes horror more than California. So, your shows are bigger, right?
>> They are. There's a lot of great conventions. Yeah.
>> And then I bet you could find things like this there.
>> Oh, lots of that kind of stuff at a horror at a horror convention for sure.
Yeah.
>> So So do you have any stories about things that have happened to you at a convention?
>> Well, we got to hang out with Sid Hey once.
>> Oh, I like him.
>> Spider Baby, many other movies. He was really nice in person.
>> You must have some wonderful photos of that.
>> Oh, yeah. And uh I had Eric Roberts, the actor Eric Roberts walk by and kind of give me a little love tap on the arm.
Let's say >> love one time. Yeah, >> he punched you.
>> Well, just a little tiny bit. He seemed >> Was he in a bad mood or something?
>> He was smiling when he did it. I think it was sort of like a hey, who are you type of thing?
>> No, Eric's actually a rather nice man.
We had him here right in that chair.
>> Yeah, >> that's awesome.
>> No, but that is not awesome. Look at this hideous thing.
>> I You know, I think she's trying to gross you out of a chair.
>> Did she get those from u Mr. Sardonicus?
>> No, she she she digs these things up.
filthy. All right, what do you say we get back to Mr. Sardonicus and uh we'll chat when we come back.
>> Sounds good.
>> All right, off we go back to the film.
Don't go away at the break cuz we're going to be here to tell you more. See you soon.
Hi Vincent, I'm Daniel Jr. of Everrow Heights Minnesota and I'm a really big fan of your show. You should really keep up to go work and I really enjoy the new Bright Show stuff.
I really hope to see more Captain Cosic in the future. And that's all. Bye.
You know, Miss Jennet Decay. He's got quite a face on him, does he not?
>> He does. And you know, he's a jerk.
Throughout the whole movie, he's wanting to get a new face and get his face fixed, but I think he really needed a new personality.
>> Oh, and he could probably use some lip fillers, too. That guy >> cover a lot of that up.
>> Probably. And actually, behind the scenes to wear all that, he had five different appliances, and it was actually painful for the actor to wear.
>> Oh, no.
>> Mhm.
>> No. Well, I I you know, that's why I never went to Hollywood and tried to become an actor because, you know, they would want to cover my face with as much things as they possibly could because, you know, >> I hear you. Same here.
>> Yeah. No, that >> Oh, good. You know, she's got an entire managerie of those. She She intends to show you her Octopi collection.
>> She has quite a collection. That's great.
>> It's far too many. So, besides doing the Mummy and Monkey Show, which what's the website that they go to?
>> Oh, yes. It's watchmummy monkey.com.
>> Watchmmonkey.com will take you directly to their YouTube channel.
>> Um, you have to subscribe. Please subscribe tonight. Just do it now because when they get home, they want to look and see all the thousands of new people that they have. Subscribe to their show. So, besides doing that, you also do another thing.
>> We do. So, on our uh YouTube channel, there's different playlists. So, there's also some behind thescenes videos where we go on thrifting and scavenging adventures. Uh we share some of our uh collections and things that are in our eBay stores.
>> Oh, nice. So, what kind of things do you find?
>> Um antiques and collectibles, action figures, >> comic books, all kinds of >> vintage Halloween merch.
>> Oh, yeah. Vint a lot of vintage Halloween.
>> Vintage decor, things like that.
>> So, this is this is like high-end hoarding.
>> Ah, yes.
>> Something like >> I guess you could say we're hoarder hosts.
>> Hoarder host, too. Yeah.
>> No, that's wonderful. Oh, you should you should you should trademark that name because that's a a good thing. So, do you actually find horror related things?
>> Oh, so many things like that.
>> Like you found a Halloween 2 movie poster.
>> That's right. Authentic one.
>> Authentic. Yeah.
>> Oh, that's absolutely fantastic.
>> But that one we decided to keep.
>> Yeah, we're not selling that one yet.
>> Yeah. And then that's like an eBay thing that you do when you sell things on eBay. Yes.
>> How brilliant. No, no, you could bring both worlds together. Now, if we did if we did an eBay thing, Tangella would be trying to sell human body parts that she finds in the graveyard.
>> Oh, well, that that wouldn't be permitted on there.
>> No. Well, you know, it would be good money if it was not illegal.
>> So, there's that because she tried once.
We found out the the local constable paid us a visit.
>> Oh, wow.
>> Oh, wow.
>> All right. What do you say we wrap up this film and then uh when we come back, we'll find out what you guys are doing next. Right.
>> Awesome.
>> All right. Off we go to the end of Mr. Sonicus. Don't go away when the credits roll because we'll be here waiting for you and if you're not here, we'll be sad and Janet will cry. Right.
>> That's so >> See, >> please stay tuned.
>> See you soon.
>> So, he cannot eat anymore. So, I suppose he's going to die, is he not?
>> Maybe. or diet.
>> No, maybe he's going to have that special food that you drink through a straw.
>> Maybe a smoothie.
>> A smoothie. That's right. Well, a fun film. I I don't know if we'll show this one again, but uh we we've you know, we've shown it once before.
>> Oh, >> I forgot until I saw it. You know, I always forget these things. I just don't remember. So, >> I like the movie, but >> it's fun.
>> I think it's fun.
>> So, the website to see your page is what?
>> Watchmmonkey.com.
and that get that sends you directly to the YouTube channel. But the mummyandinandthemonkey.com also has links to our social media pages.
>> So, we'll put both of those up so that everyone can see it. Go subscribe to the channel because how many subscribers you have right now?
>> Um, close to 7,000.
>> Let's see if we could double it tonight.
No, no, no. Let's triple it tonight. You know, all people, they're wonderful because they they know how to click things.
>> That's awesome.
>> So, you know, we'll say click on this thing and they click it. So, if if you go to their page and click subscribe, let's surprise them. Let's give them something wonderful to see before they get back to Cleveland.
>> It's so easy even a monkey could do it.
>> That's right.
>> And a monkey probably has done it before, right?
>> Oh, many times.
>> You subscribe to your own station.
>> Sure, why not?
>> Right. Right. That makes sense. So, what's what's next for you guys?
>> Well, we're looking forward to our 300th live streaming episode of the Harry Scary Hangout.
>> Wonderful.
>> And we have some appearances later this year. So, if you follow us on social media and subscribe to our channel, you'll get notified of all the updates.
>> That's important. Now, how long have you been doing this?
>> Uh, around 11 years, I think.
>> I was going to say too long, but on our 10th year.
>> Wow.
>> 10 years. Wow.
>> 10 years. So, this this is our 10th year. So, technically in October, it'll be 10 complete years.
>> Wow, that's awesome.
>> Well, congratulations. They're the pros.
They know more than we do.
>> All right. Well, I want to thank you too for flying all the way out here and coming on the show. It's been so much fun.
>> Well, thank you for having us, Vincent.
It's been a blast.
>> And we hope you have a safe trip back.
>> Mhm.
>> We'll see you next time.
>> Thank you.
>> As far as you guys go, thank you so much for watching our silly little program.
We know you could have been watching the news or something, but it's all bad anyways, so it's a good thing you stayed with us. See you next week. And don't forget, we love you. Total. So Janet, you know, I'm thinking if you've been doing this longer than us, you must have some good advice on how we might improve our show.
>> You know, maybe you could replace Tangela with a monkey.
