[00:11:00]Your host appears to believe he is guiding the audience through something important. This is admirable though confusing since the films themselves seem to actively resist explanation. I get the impression he prepares remarks in advance only to realize halfway through that none of them apply to what's actually happening on the screen.

[00:11:20]>> That's a lot of words to explain nothing, is it not?

[00:11:24]>> There was a lot said there.

[00:11:25]>> Right. The movie this past weekend appeared to involved a monster, a poorly lit laboratory, and several adults making decisions that would get them fired from any real job. I stopped taking notes once I realized the monster had better motivation than most of the characters. You know, he should be a real film critic because he sounds like one.

[00:11:44]>> He does, doesn't he?

[00:11:46]>> Right. I will admit the show grows on you. Not in a healthy way, but more like an unfamiliar skin growth that you ignore at first, then monitor nervously and eventually realize it should be removed by a qualified dermatologist.

[00:12:01]>> It's rather accurate.

[00:15:49]>> Yes. Yes. It was made in 1961 by William Castle. You know, the guy who was a big gimmick film guy. He had, you know, House on Haunted Hill and this movie, Mr. Sardonicus, was uh kind of inspired by the Hammer films that he loved so much.

[00:16:02]>> And those Hammer films are those English movies, the English studio.

[00:16:05]>> No, I'm quite familiar with Hammer Films.

[00:16:07]>> Yeah. That had like Christopher Lee as Dracula and so on. You know, >> I was thinking of starting a a horror film company, production company called Sledgehammer Films.
