[00:00:00]Welcome back to Tang Time where I teach you how to lower your score without having to work on your golf swing. On today's agenda, I'm going to be taking you for a round of golf in Thailand.

[00:00:09]We're playing at a course called Bonanza in a town called Pak Chong, just about 2 hours northeast of Bangkok and it is hot. So, we've got mountains here in Khao Yai, but normally golf in Bangkok is pretty flat. Everyone gets their own caddy. Most caddies are women out here and you can play up to groups of six.

[00:01:09]So, when you play golf in Thailand, every three holes, there's a thing called a zoom.

[00:01:41]So, this is the ninth hole halfway house. I haven't played this course in 20 years. So, my caddy, Nong Pam, she's only 15 years old. She's a student caddy. I am the first woman pro she's ever caddied for and she she's never seen a woman hit it as far as me.

[00:03:07]All right, I have 56 yd, but this tree is in my way, so I'm hitting eight iron to the front of the green and pop it onto the green.

[00:03:22]All I have to do is carry this bunker.

[00:03:32]Classic lie, 55 to 50.

[00:03:41]Sit.

[00:03:44]Okay, it's on the green. Okay.

[00:04:35]>> [laughter] >> The group in front of us also is playing with six. So, it always looks like there's a ton of golfers because of the caddy. So, you got six caddies, six players.

[00:05:13]One, two, three, four, five, and me, six. The saying in Thailand is dai yen yen or sabai sabai, which just means relax. Take it easy and just just do your thing. No one is stressed out here. How could you be stressed out here? This is my scorecard and this is how Thai people like to keep their scores. Circles for pars and triangles for birdies. So, the first time I ever played a golf tournament, that's how I marked my scorecard and they made me fill the whole thing out again because I did it all wrong.
