Mouse pad speed is determined by three key friction characteristics: static friction (resistance when stationary), dynamic friction (resistance during movement), and stopping power (ability to halt quickly). A glass mouse pad with low static friction allows easy micro-adjustments, low dynamic friction enables fast mouse movement, and low stopping power results in rapid mouse response. These characteristics make such pads ideal for players who prioritize speed and responsiveness in their gaming performance.

The fastest glass mousepad I've tried this 2026?! (MITSUKI Yusui Review)Added:
This is the fastest glass mouse pad I've tried so far this 2026. Like its static friction is slow, its dynamic friction is low, even its stopping power is low.
That's how crazy fast this is. Is it going to be for you though? Let's go and check it out.
Nice premium, very secured packaging.
Does come with all of the accessories that we will be needing. A cleaning cloth, some dots skates. We'll be trying these out more later. But yeah, first impressions on the glass pad. I really like how it looks like. Beautiful. Love the blue collar. The image is also pretty high quality, very clear. As you can see on the zoomed in view here, there is very little branding here on the bottom right with a slightly different texture, but it is so small and it actually blends pretty well. So, pretty slick. It doesn't bother the looks or the experience with the pad.
But yeah, we also have the numbers since this is a pretty limited drop. So, yeah, we got a unique number there. Very nice looks. Then for the size, it's going to be 500x 450 mm. Then for the thinness, it comes in 2.4 mm only. That's including the base silicon. very impressive thinness. The glass is 1.5 mm only. And talking about the glass, this is a coated premium tempered glass.
Feels very high quality. It is microetch textured. You can kind of feel its texture when going through it with your fingers. A bit on the tactile side, but not uncomfortable. Not irritating. I have no problems moving my skin through this. Very comfortable. And talking about my skin, it also does not stick.
So, if you know me, I'm not really a huge fan of wearing sleeves. So, yeah, we don't have to do that here. I love how that feels. It'll definitely be comfortable when gaming. And talking about comfortability, the edges are also rounded and comfortable. They call this the 2.5D rounded edges. It feels very smooth and amazing. Definitely also won't interfere when you're using this mouse pad. Now, let's talk about its speed and compare it with the other glass mouse pad speeds. I'd say the Mitsuki here is definitely on the faster side. Yeah, I'd say this is pretty fast.
It is slightly faster than something like the Odyssey here. I mean, the Lock on Odyssey is still on the more balanced side. And then if we're going to compare it to the Phantom here, I'd say they're actually pretty close in speed. Yeah, they're close in speed. And the Mitsuki here might actually feel slightly faster, but they're both pretty fast, so it's kind of hard to tell already which is [music] faster. I can tell though that the Phantom here has more stopping power if you press down compared to the Mitsuki. Yeah, I'd say the Mitsuki is a pretty fast pad. Now, the Mitsuki here also has pretty low static friction compared to the Phantom. And in general, pretty low static friction, meaning you can easily move the mouse or start the mouse when it's not moving. It's just static. So, micro adjustments will be so easy. And I do like that. With the games I play, I always have to micro adjust.
So, it will be less tiring and easier in general. It also has low dynamic friction as well as fast initial speed.
So, as I mentioned earlier, the mouse pad is going to be pretty fast. It also has low stopping power, which will make the pad feel even faster. So, if you're into that, tracking is going to be very smooth and consistent here. And of course, flicking is going to be very fast. So, take in mind when you're flicking and you're about to stop since again, this has low stopping power. If you're not used to it, you might have to get used to it at first. But with my personal experience, I have no problems flicking and stopping the mouse with this mouse pad. But yeah, enough about the stuffs on top here, the Surface.
Now, let's going to talk about the base, the ones at the bottom. This pad apparently has an edgetoedge custom silicon base. Here's a zoomed in view.
It is not sticky, but it is grippy. So, we don't have to worry about dust getting stuck on the base here, but we can still be confident that the mouse pad won't be going anywhere. Yeah, that's very secured here. My whole table is shaking. Definitely will stay secured on your table while you're gaming. And talking about gaming, let's test this mouse pad out more in game.
Careful now. Watch your eyes.
>> Enemies.
>> One enemy remaining.
>> Okay.
>> Got it. Got it. He actually got it.
>> Oh my god.
>> Not really.
Yeah, >> one on top. No, not no. No one.
>> Come on, let's go.
>> One enemy remaining.
>> Nice.
>> Like I never >> watching up.
No, no, no. Enemy.
>> Sorry.
>> I have spike down.
>> That's done.
>> I want on the right side. Link.
>> Don't die. Don't fight. Don't die.
>> Baby, >> you want to play? Let's play.
>> Watch your eyes.
Throw is B.
>> Oh, >> down B.
>> Did they mix?
>> One enemy remaining.
>> Now, you saw the gameplay and how I aimed with it. Didn't hold me back when I was gaming. I was still able to perform my best. And bro, it was so fast. Like, it made my mouse kind of feel lighter with how low the friction on this pad is. like it made it even easier to move my already light gaming mouse. But yeah, I had a fun and amazing experience aiming with this glass pad.
The tracking was very smooth. I'm also pretty used to fast mouse pads with low stopping power. So, there wasn't really any problems for me stopping the mouse despite [music] having again low stopping power. If you're used to a lot of control though and a lot of stopping power, then you might have to get used to the low stopping power of this mouse a little bit at first. And I think after that it's going to be fun and nice to use. I also found myself aiming pretty chill with this glass pad right here with how effortless it is to move the mouse. I don't know. I just personally really like how that felt. So yeah, again tracking was very smooth and consistent. Easy as well as micro adjusting very easy and effortless and flicking was also very fast and I can still control it personally. I've just had an amazing aiming and gaming experience with this glass mouse pad.
Even for long gaming sessions, as I mentioned earlier, it was very comfortable to the skin. The edges didn't bother me. The surface didn't stick to my skin. It was very smooth. I didn't have to wear any sleeves. So, if you're like me that finds it more comfortable not wearing any, then you'll also like this cuz yeah, it just didn't really stick to my skin. The glass pad was also very consistent. The whole time I was using it, I didn't really feel the humidity affecting it. Just very consistent from corner to corner. And another enemy of consistency is dirt.
When your mouse pad gets dirty, and this one it was very easy. I mean, in general, glass mouse pads are very easy to clean. I just had to wipe it a little bit when it got dusty or dirty. There wasn't really a time where I needed to wet the wipes or the cloth cleaning cloth, but I guess you can also do that if the dirt really won't get off. But there wasn't really any experience like that for me personally. It's just little dust I needed to deal with. And it actually kind of just cleans itself normally when I use it since yeah, my hand just goes over it wiping and blowing all the little dusts away. So yeah, no problems keeping the mouse pad clean and with its consistency. And when it comes to the silicon base, it didn't really move. It was very grippy to my desk. I even actually have it on top of another glass mouse pad which is not the best surface to stick stuffs and it is gripping pretty well. Yeah, no complaints on that. Just an overall great experience with the Mitsuki Yui here. Now, other than the pad itself, I also have some experiences to share with the DOT skates it came in with. I did test them out a little bit and I think it's pretty accurate what is it said on the packaging of the skates. They're pretty quiet and smooth, but they still do make some noise, but they're definitely a bit more on the quieter side. I've tested more scratchier, not very smooth dot skates. So, yeah, these are pretty good dot skates. I think you'll have a good experience using these. Now, if you're curious about the speed, they didn't really slow down. The overall speed of the pad, it was still pretty fast. Their speed is pretty similar actually to the stock skates of the DWolves Lykan here. But yeah, again, very nice dot skates they included with the pad. But, okay, going back to the glass pad or the whole product here. Is it worth it and would I recommend it?
Well, how much is it? [music] From what I can see, at least on the Max Gaming website, it's going to be around $19.
On some websites, I actually see it a little bit higher coming in 123 on the respawn gt.com websites, but yeah, around that price range, around $109.
Now, I wouldn't say that that's on a on the budget price range, but I also wouldn't say that that's too expensive.
It's on the typical glass mouse pad price range. I'm not surprised as well with the quality of this mouse pad. It is an okay price and again I'm not surprised especially when comparing it to the other competition. So yeah, I think that is worth it. I can recommend it for that price especially if you like its speed, you like the low static friction as well as the low dynamic friction and the low stopping power, its fast initial speed. If you're into that, then yes, I can definitely recommend it.
But if you think that's not for you, maybe you would prefer a little bit more stopping power and maybe a little bit more friction control. If you're into that more, then you might want to look at the other competition since again, this is it can totally be personal preference. At the end of the day, you know which surface, which speed you will be able to perform the best with. Or maybe you're just interested on trying out a fast glass mouse pad, then if you have the budget and you do like how this looks like and everything I've said about this pad, then yeah, this is a pretty good high quality good experience I've had. Fast glass mouse pad. Now, I also do want to mention though that I'm kind of late in reviewing this. I think since the release has been kind of been a while now and since I said again this is a limited release from what I can see it is kind of out of stock in a lot of places. So it might not be the easiest to find one right now. I'm not sure if they're going to have a restock on this.
But I still wanted to post this review and my thoughts on this glass mouse pad.
Now you might be able to find some though on some resellers. I'm not sure on what still has stock. But yeah, if you're interested I'll be putting the links in the description where you can buy this. No guarantees that that link will have a stock though. And if I know any or if I'm able to get a restock date, I'll also be putting it in the description before the link or in the screen if I get any or if I find any.
And I'll also be putting the discount codes if I have any in the description so you can get this maybe more discounted. And it'll also probably support me a lot if you use that code.
And those links in the description are also going to be my affiliate link. So I would really appreciate it if you can use those when buying anything from the description. And a little disclaimer, this mouse pad is sent to me, but that won't change my review. Everything that you've been hearing me say about this mouse pad are all my honest opinions and reviews. So yeah, I pray and hope that this video helped you in some way. I'll see you guys in the next one. Don't forget to stay grateful and remember Jesus loves you. Bye-bye.
