ADDING VENTILATED SEATS TO VIRTUS GT LINE!Added:
Hey, it's and today we are installing OEM ventilated seats in this 2025 Vortex.
Luggage and it's going to turn.
Everybody in the area ain't messing with the >> These seats are brand new from Volkswagen. And not only are they ventilated, but they are fully electronically adjustable as well. But to make ventilation work, we need this button set from a Vertus GT with its connectors and the seat ventilation module with the connector. So, we need to make the entire wiring for it. And now that we have everything, let's pull the seats out of the car.
All right, with the seats out, now it's time to open the necessary trims to lay down the wiring. I think we'll open the center console trims, the trim around the steering, and the dorsal trims, and then we'll make the wiring from there.
So, let's begin and tear down into the trims of this car.
So comparing these two 10 pin connectors, the one that is originally in the car and the one that we cut from the Vortus GT, we need to add at least three to four wires. else in this 10pin connector and this is an entirely new connector that is being added to this car and now everything that we had to open has been opened. So let's just start to wire it all in.
So these are the three extra wires that we are going to add. This is black for power I believe. Let's remove it.
I'm removing it from number three. So, I'll be sure to put it in number three.
Just like that. And just like that, the rest of the wires as well.
Now, these six wires from the buttons will go to this uh module's connector.
The module rests on the left hand side of the steering. So I'll just stretch these six wires still there and most of them get connected to this and then wires branch from this to the seat. So I'll just be wiring now for at least a couple of hours. So let me just finish it up and I'll show you.
So far the wiring from the module to the buttons is done. Now the wiring from the module to each seat and to the BCM is left and to power up the seat itself. So we'll do that right now. So it has been a lot more than 2 hours. The wiring with this retrofit is really intense. Uh all that's left now is to give power from the fuse box and then grounds to the ground points and then we are ready to test the seats out.
So the wiring was entirely installed.
The seats have been put in. Everything is roughly in place. And now it's time to test if everything works.
All right, the seat works perfectly. The electronic adjustment works. Now, let's test if the ventilation works.
And it does. The ventilation is working as well. That's great. Now, generally the ventilation does not work till the engine is on. And that is because there is a single wire that goes to the VCM and to the ventilation module which tells the module that hey the engine is on. You can now turn on ventilation. But in this case since this is an SFD logged car we could not code anything. We did not give that signal to the DCM. Instead we gave it to ignition so that anytime the owner turns the car off the ventilation turns off as well. Now the ventilation is working the engine is on but as soon as I turn the car off the ventilation turns off as well. So, there is no way or no chance that the ventilation will stay on forever. That won't happen. All right, then. Now that everything works, it's time to put this car back together because it's blown up into pieces right now.
And with that, the entire car is packed.
The seats are properly installed. So this car being a GT line now has GT seats which are ventilated and totally electronically adjustable. Another feature that is added that the passenger seat did not have height adjustability.
Now it has that that too electric. So that is a huge upgrade in terms of drivability. So if you want such things done to your car, reach us out on that it sells or Evo Retrofit and Tuning and we'll be sure to help you out. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the next one. This is so cool, man.
Every every car should have ventilated seats. Why doesn't every car have it?
But anyway, if you want it in your car, you know where to reach us.
