David "Ice Pick" Turmel Fights Return, WILL NOT be Extradited Back to Canada from Italy

[00:00:17]I'm going to be sitting, you know, stationary here for the next handful of months. A lot of reporting. It's going to be a hot summer. Um things are percolating all over North America right now. And no surprise, more news out of Canada. We're going to talk about icepic turl. And it looked like a year ago when he got apprehended after two years on the run out in Europe uh in Rome that he would be coming back to Canada to face the music soon. But we're now uh almost 15 months removed from his apprehension and he's not coming back anytime soon.

[00:00:59]Uh we just got word from the courts in Italy that uh him and his attorney are fighting extradition. We knew that this was a possibility. We didn't hear anything for a while, for about a year. Um, I guess you could have, you know, read between the lines and, you know, came to the conclusion that he wasn't back in Quebec City.

[00:01:26]Therefore, he was, you know, fighting uh in the court system to stay in Rome. Um, right now it's official. uh his his proceedings, his extradition proceedings have been stayed by the courts in Italy and they'll now um duke it out in front of judges in Italy to see if the crown can get ice pickl, David Tal pick, who is one of these disruptors that has emerged in the 2020s uh out in the great white north that has completely flipped the, you know, traditional way of doing things, the traditional pecking order, uh, standard operations have all been turned on its head, especially in Quebec City by Preml and his blood family mafia group. Um, we've done a lot of reporting on this is still at war. Blood Family Mafia is still at war with the Hell's Angels.

[00:02:40]This is a war that uh Icepic himself started back three years ago. Uh there's been a couple ceasefires that that didn't stick. And according to sources in the crown as well as uh sources on the street, he is still uh commanding his troops from prison. He was commanding his troops from uh his his run as a fugitive. So this is a very resourceful, resilient young man. He's not even 30 yet. We've said it here a number of times. no matter what happens from this point forward, he is an he's an icon. Um, he is somebody that is already etched himself into the Mount Rushmore, if you will. I know Canada, it's not the same analogy with the United States, but you know, the Mount Rushmore of Quebec City underworld figures. He's done it in a very short period of time.

[00:03:50]He's been transformational.

[00:03:52]Uh, you know, the young gangsters in Quebec City, they used to all look up to the Hell's Angels, uh, the Pelletes and and that entire Quebec City 81 franchise that dominated the the city's rackets for 30 years. And now the young gangsters don't want to be Hell's Angels. They want to be Blood Family Mafia. They emulate Icepic Turount. They see him in rap videos and on social media.

[00:04:28]Um, and he's the new age big homie in charge. And we'll see what happens to him in terms of fighting this case and, you know, how long he'll be off the streets.

[00:04:46]But right now it it's really um it's David Icepic Trel's world even from a prison cell. That's how well that's what a game changer he's been. So it it doesn't take a master tea leaf reader here or a master criminologist here to you know come to the conclusion that Icepic Trel doesn't want to be in Canada in the prison system because his war with the Hell's Angels and whoever else he's at war with um it it's going on behind bars.

[00:05:38]It's popping off behind bars just as much as it's popping off on the streets. Uh, and two of his biggest Hell's Angels rivals are locked up right now and got nothing but time to, you know, I guess plot for his return to the prison system or to Canada and then, you know, into the criminal justice system when he finally gets the the drug dealing uh and as well as some other pretty heavy charges adjudicated. There was a superseding indictment a couple months ago. Uh but right now prison could be a dangerous place for ice pickl. I mean we see all these stabbings uh related to AWA and Arab power. Uh Fuzie got stabbed a couple weeks ago. We reported that he's a leader of AWA. He's locked up. Um survived the stabbing but someone came at him.

[00:06:41]All of uh Big Brother's guys are under attack because they're trying to like chip away at the the royal guard, if you will, kill as many people or incapacitate as many people around Big Brother as they can.

[00:06:58]And I say I'm saying they as in the Rudos.

[00:07:03]Um and and get to him. So, but he's proven that you could be at war behind bars and still have uh you know a formidable layer of protection around you. That's when you're when you're a shot caller of at at that level that Ice Pik Trel definitely is, Big Brother is, Fuzzy is, the Rudos are the two uh the two big Hell's Angels rivals for Icepic are, you know, Mario Bananas Aair and uh Matt Pel, who used to be his partner in in the rackets before things went bad. Uh, so this is far from over. Far from over, but he is not on his way back to Canada anytime soon. His lawyers have effectively uh put a stop to the extradition efforts.

[00:08:07]I'm guessing it will be another year, two years maybe before they get him back. And in Rome, he's kind of left to his own devices, even locked up. Uh, and that's not to say that in Canada there's a lot of shot calling going on behind bars. There's a lot of communications from uh prison cells to the street, smuggled devices, messages being relayed through attorneys and middlemen. So, it's not necessarily as difficult as it would be in the United States to do that. Um, in Canada, it's probably a little bit smoother of a transition in terms of, you know, keeping your grip on what's going on with your people um, in the streets.

[00:08:57]But, you know, this is this is developing story and I'll obviously uh be keeping tabs. But, um, Vice Pictural is going to be staying in Rome for the foreseeable future.

[00:09:14]as his guys fight wars on multiple fronts. We we reported a couple months ago that uh you know Alli Boyman who had once been an ally to Piclal has started his own crew, the North Savage crew and and they're at war now with Blood Family Mafia. So Blood Family Mafia is fighting wars on the streets. They're fighting wars uh behind bars and so are the the air power guys.

[00:09:46]So are AWA. So are the rudos. Tupac's locked up. So it's it's not uh it's not as cut and dry as you would think it would be right now. A lot of guys are locked up and a lot of guys are trying to do their best to control things on the streets from either prison cells in Canada or in the case of Icepic Trel a prison cell in Rome. It's really hot in Detroit. My AC is still broken.

[00:10:16]Um, and I'm sweating. So, I apologize for that. We're going to get the AC fixed. Hopefully, the next couple days I won't be as uh wet as I am right now doing this video. So, apologies for the uh aesthetic, but uh Icepic Trel ain't coming home anytime soon. his attorneys have got everything um in a freeze mode out in Rome and uh he's still moving and grooving from behind bars there and won't be having to um you know face the crown or or face his enemies back in Canada anytime soon. So, wanted to come out and report that. We don't do quick hitters anymore, but this was a quick report. I hope everybody enjoyed it. I'm going to go take a shower. Um, I came back from the West Coast hoping it was going to be a little cooler here, but uh, it's a scorcher in Detroit the last couple days. We're in the high 80s, early 90s. So, it wasn't great that I didn't have my AC moving for a while.

[00:11:19]And now I got to put it back on and isn't uh isn't working. So, I've got to get the the uh fixers up here in the next 24 hours and hopefully we'll get that fixed. I won't be as the Jews say schvitzing uh when I'm doing these videos, but uh ice pickl, you know, he's still as big as they come, as influential as they come, as powerful as they come in Canada, even though he's in Rome right now. And uh I don't think that's going to change anytime soon because o of what he's already built for himself. Blood Family Mafia is not going anywhere. It's just it's growing. It's it's expanding. Um, there's the cool factor there, the the um, you know, the the desire or the allure of being part of something on the ground floor the way a lot of the Hell's Angels were when when when they came into Canada in in the late 70s or like when Quebec City's chapter opened in in the late 80s. Uh, those guys were were the first to plant a flag. Icepicl, not sure if he founded Blood Family Mafia, but he definitely took it to the next level and is a big ticket mainstream entity uh in the world of crime in Canada.
