When I was very young, I had the memory of a dream. 7 years old. Live with my parents and older brother and sister like 12 and 15. I sleep in the same room as my brother. I wake up. All the lights are on in the house. Unsure of the time, but it's pitch black outside. Definitely later than midnight. Maybe 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. is my feeling. My brother is not in the room with me. The house is dead silent. None of those things make sense.
My parents stayed up late, but if they were up, I'd either hear them or they'd be in bed and the lights would be off. I get up and walk through the house with all the lights on and make it to our front room, the living room. I see my brother and sister standing in front of our living room window, facing away from me, almost like they're peeking out the blinds. They are not moving a muscle or saying a word, not even making a peep. I want to see what they're looking at. So, I walk up. UFO disc in my front yard.
Had lights around the rim. The lights were rotating around the rim. I mean, not like magic. They were just switching lights moving all around it. Like it had 100 light fixtures all around the rim like a carousel. That's about how big it was, too. 30 ft across or so. The lights were red, green, and white, maybe yellow, too. They were beautiful, like Christmas or an arcade, maybe. I thought it looked amazing. Blackout. End of dream. I woke up the next day, never thought much of it. Interesting dream. I was seven. Never brought it up. Flash forward to a few years ago when I'm 25.
I am rocked awake by a dream that felt more like a memory. Feels like I'm about 12. We had moved out to the country at this point on private property. I'm outside. The sun is dead in the center of the sky. A cloudless day. So must be a weekend or a summer break. I woke up walking up our long driveway that goes through some woods. I notice someone is walking with me. I look to my left and there is a 7 to 8ft tall Asian man with extremely gaunt features and orang-ish skin. Closest comparisons are East Asian people or even Native Americans. He kind of looked like was in the Midwest, so the native angle might make more sense actually. Wearing all black and a black trench coat. had nice shiny hair, ear length. It was kind of feathered looking. It reminded me of emo hair. I couldn't see his eyes from the angle I was at. I woke up walking with him away from my house in the middle of the day.
I could tell something wasn't right and he scared me and I knew something was up. My inner voice told me, "If I can see his eyes, I'll be able to know if he's human." So I said, "Look at me.
Hey, look at me. Blackout. End of dream.
This started me down an abductee rabbit hole, which I had looked into from the outside before and had a little knowledge of. I had heard in the past that if you are an abductee, then it is likely one or both parents were as well, and that families are targeted. At a family gathering after having the new dream, this is on the same land. My dad bought the land back in the 70s, lived there in a shack for a while, had a family, and moved into town where dream one took place. Then when I was 10, we moved a house back out to the private property and went back there. Casually bring up the first story to my dad.
Don't claim that I think it's real. Just bring it up like, "Hey, I remember a weird dream I had as a kid."
My dad, who is not into paranormal stuff at all, says, "Yeah, son. You know, I had an interesting dream, too. When I was in my 20s living out here in the shack, I dreamt that some weird little guys came in the house and were knocking stuff over, rummaging around, and they started talking to me. But inside my mind, they told me not to be scared. But I was scared. My jaw hits the floor. Try to keep my composure about it." a few months later start trying to ask him more questions and begin revealing that I think all this is real. He still remembers his dream, but it is more vague than before. And he is evasive and he denies the I was scared part even though I know he said that.
Be me. Be about 8. Go to sleep. Most vivid dream of my [ __ ] life. remember it clearly even now 11 years later.
Bright light fills the entire room. Two tall, skinny silhouettes appear in the white light. Offer me their hands leading me towards the window. Take their hands feeling unbelievably calm considering what was happening. Walk out of through the window. Suddenly in a ship, everything is smooth and sleek as [ __ ] Typical future tech [ __ ] Everything incredibly bright. Reminds me of a hospital. The figures still only silhouettes as we fly above my home.
Ask, "Can I drive?" They shake their heads and start motioning laughter. Wake up. Tell mom. Describe my roof and every little [ __ ] detail down to our chimney that wasn't even visible from the ground level. Especially being as young as I was to this day believe I was abducted by some friendly aliens having no recollection of fear or pain throughout the whole experience.
Pretty happy about it all things considered.
Be about 8 little bro about six or seven. Live in Britain cuz dad was in the military. Lived in a house that had two giant fields behind it. The landlord told us never to go in the field. We did anyway. Our neighbors used it too for their dogs. And if we don't tell, they don't tell. Had to cross both to get to the bus stop and back home. One day, running late, slip on boots, and run out, hurrying across the first field.
We're running along the left side. Right as we're about to go into the second field, I look right. About 15 to 25 ft away. I see a big orb just sitting there. It's swirling with a bunch of colors. What the [ __ ] Show my bro. He sees it, too. We don't investigate cuz we'd miss the bus and get five across the ass. We rush home hoping to catch it again. It's gone. To this day, I regret not going up to it and touching it or something. Also, the house's landlord's mother lived there before we did. She died, and sometimes the house would just stink of rotting fish.
Other times, my brother would see shadows moving on the wall. The scariest part is the landlord charged her own mother rent.
Back in the '9s, my extended relatives were on a TV show and claimed they were abducted. I tried to find the clip but couldn't. This is my story. It'll get criticism, but what an outsider can't understand is the weirdest feeling the owls gave me and everyone else in the car. A feeling that I have never experienced. I can only explain it like if you were to see something your brain couldn't comprehend and you just shut down. Three friends and I are driving a girl home around 3:00 a.m.
Suddenly, the passenger and I see a blue light in the sky descending. It's bright as hell, so I couldn't make out the shape of the craft. And it was high enough to pass through the clouds. My friend and I are speechless, and we couldn't tell the passengers until after we lost sight of it past the treeine.
After the shock wears off, we tell the people in the back seat about it and drop off the girl. So, we are driving back to my friend's house going 55 mph and a white owl flies up next to my car and has his head pointed directly at us.
He's staring at us while flying 55 mph.
The owl is close enough to roll down the window and touch him. He flies off after 5 seconds. And then less than a mile down the road, another white owl does the same thing. And everyone in the car starts screaming out of some kind of primal fear no one could explain.
For some reason, I slam on the brakes and everyone yells at me to keep driving. I have seen the same blue light multiple times since then. One time with the friend who saw the first one. This was before that dumb movie, The Fourth Kind, was released. This happened in Georgia, by the way.
Age seven. All is fine and out of nowhere.
Fire in the Sky is broadcasted on afternoon TV. It messed me up and screwed me up even more when the biggest national news show made a report on the Travis Walton case.
Mom puts her hand over my eyes so I can't see most of the report. It just makes everything worse.
Scares me shitless of aliens until I'm about 12 to 14 when I start reading more about UFOs.
Realize that the odds are minimum to have an encounter like that.
Still have a lot of fun reading and studying about the phenomenon.
Fast forward to 2010. I'm 20 now.
Eupfology is still a hobby. Have been dating this small town girl for a few months. She's beautiful, very kind, and amazingly sweet person.
Somehow the alien talk shows up. Yeah, I don't like to talk about this subject to none. I would rather not. Let's talk about something else. Realize she's also scared just like I was when I was younger. There's no need to be upset.
The chances to have a close encounter are very, very unlikely.
Awkward silence followed by some water in her eyes and a fragile voice answering.
Yeah, that speculation is just not enough to avoid them from coming at night. Pokerface.exe is currently running full speed on all my cores. Fast forward a year, it's 2011, and we talked about aliens a couple of times. She says that she is sometimes visited by humanoids that come in through her apartment window. They have big heads, big black eyes, and sleek yellow skin. There's also another kind that is taller, and looks more human, but both look and feel evil, as if they don't mean any good.
Pokerface.exe Exe still running. I just don't believe it. She has a very powerful imagination and these stories are certainly just dreams and fear of strangers. I don't know. I'm not a psychologist.
Also, those yellow aliens don't really match up with anything I've heard before, so I don't know. I just don't think about it a lot. She sleeps in my house often. Then one night, out of [ __ ] nowhere, we both wake up way past midnight.
Blinding light coming through my window.
Shitty noise annoying me. It's like that white noise that you hear when you turn on your TV, but louder. Pick related.
It's a drawing I made a few years later.
What the flying fuck.exe overruns my systems. Overclocking in process. My bed is just below the window. I jump out of bed, heart racing.
Girlfriend does the same through the other side of the bed. I spread the curtains and the blinding light enters the room even more. Can't really see anything. It's too bright. Use my hand in the wooden parts of the colonial style window to shield some of the light and try to understand what's going on.
Eyes adjust.
There it is, hovering 2 or 3 feet above the ground. This strange sideways eggshaped object on the gate of the front house below the light post and energy cables the post tethers glows white bright in the middle and has a bluish purple glow on the outer rim. It wasn't hovering still. It had a strange movement pattern as if it was flickering. It seemed as if it was moving in all the axes, X, Y, and Z, very, very quickly. Felt like film grain, very erratic and unpredictable.
My mind goes blank. I have absolutely no idea what to do or how to react. I just stay there cold, sweating, looking at that. Never been so scared in my life.
My mind feels like an empty, dark room.
I can't move. Girlfriend touches me on the shoulder. Something is wrong with her face. I can't really tell what.
Close the curtains. Let's go to sleep. I turn towards the window, close the curtains, lie down in bed, and I simply shut down.
Wake up the next morning. It's a Sunday.
I rush out of bed. She gets out soon after with a different look than usual.
It's clear to me that something really happened. She avoids eye contact and my mind is somewhat slower than usual, even for Sunday morning standards.
I want to talk about this with her, but I'm also scared. And I know how much she hates to talk about this kind of stuff.
I want to be a good man and protect her.
And if I talk to her about last night's experience, I might make her feel uncomfortable and insecure whenever she comes around.
I don't want to seed fear in her mind.
Have to cope with this. Whatever. [ __ ] it. Maybe it was a bad dream. Who knows?
Yeah, it's strange that I have absolutely never dreamt about UFOs or aliens.
Absolutely never dreamt about my house either.
There was also nothing physically strange with my dream. I usually dream with shifting colors, shifting lengths, and a lot of people. I also don't think I could ever recall the beginning of a dream. And for some reason, this one begins and finishes in the exact same place I had slept the past night.
Think it was real, but at the same time, think it might be a new kind of dream.
It's strange. I just doubt that I experienced that and at the same time doubt that it was a dream. Fast forward a couple of years. It's 2013 and nothing like that ever happened again. I'm still dating the same girl. She says she actually remembers waking up one night with a very bright light coming through the curtains, but she doesn't remember anything else after that. It's [ __ ] up. And the worst thing ever is that I can't prove anything to myself.
>> Never been certain whether this was a dream or a real encounter, but here goes. Be like seven. Live in rural Texas. It's probably about midnight. My windows are open. My room is on the southacing side of the house. Hear a faint whistling. It sounds artificial, but melodic. Not quite music, but not just a plain tone. The sound is getting closer, approaching from the south of the house. Can't see anything through the trees, but the source of the sound is definitely close and moving.
Whistling moves around the east side of the house to the north side, around the west side. At this point, I am out of my bed and quietly walking into the upstairs hall. Hear the west door open downstairs. Whistling fills the house.
Not painfully loud, but a full clear sound. Stand at the top of the stairs.
Can see green light reflecting off the tile downstairs. Slowly start downstairs.
Freeze when I hear movement. Bend down and look through the bars of the banister. See something, maybe several somethings that look like OP's pick except in black from the neck down.
Pulse of green light as the sound gets louder.
Suddenly, I'm outside and the light fades away. My next memory is waking up on the stairs and going back to bed.
When morning came, there was no indication that anything had happened beyond our west door being open, which happens often enough normally due to wind that it didn't stick out. I've never had another experience similar to this or of any kind really.
Be me, B3 or so. 1982 or thereabouts.
Riding with my family back from visiting my greatg grandmother. Coming from Newman, Georgia on a rural road. Don't know the time, but it was dark and the moon was out. My mother was in prison. I lived with my grandparents who were both in the car. My grandpa was driving, my grandma in the passenger seat. Seated in the back from left to right looking forward were my uncle Paul, my aunt Kathy, and my uncle James. Be the 80s, so [ __ ] car seats. I was riding either on the front armrest in the front seat or on the back dash of this 1970s Cadillac type car. After a while, I saw a light that wasn't the moon and asked my uncle James what it was. Next, I have a memory of James and my grandpa talking. They realize the light is following us. I remember the two shouting directions as to where to turn, trying to lose this thing. We turned into a road that was under construction.
Recall the road construction barriers blinking in the night.
The next memory is of us being stalled on the wrong side of the road. For whatever reason, we are all just sitting in place. I vividly recall my uncle James crying. I don't know how long we sat, but the car gradually grew cold as the heat was no longer running. I remember my grandpa saying in his slow southern accent, "Don't nobody talk to none of them." The car door on Paul's side was opened. I see the classical tall white alien. I wasn't afraid, but more astounded.
I remember thinking, I didn't know there were people that looked like that.
The alien does this weird movement where he turned to his left, turned his head to the right towards us, then bent his body at the waist and finally at his knees. He looked like a snake uncoiling in reverse.
I remember they took Paul, Kathy, and my grandmother from the car. I remember them saying, "We didn't know about the boy." Excitedly.
I've asked some of them about this incident. All I was told was that the road I remember did exist and was under construction at the time. I remember turning onto it as if we were trying to get away, but evidently it was a normal road to take to come back to our house.
I am an abductee and I remember seeing them. The most clear time I can recall was when I was hanging out behind the recliners at a family member's house. I hear this sound coming close to where I am. At first, I'm happy because I figure it's their cat coming over. Instead, I see a hand with a dark yellowish tan skin color and three long fingers swing down in front of me. Then, I'm looking down at its head as it crawls into view.
Something you won't see told often, but it bears out from my recollection.
It was broad daylight out when this happened, and I can see that what appears to be their eyes at first isn't actually their eyes. They wear a kind of skintight overall hazmat suit that has goggles built in. Because of the angle of the sun, I'm able to see through the tinted lenses and get a look at the eyes underneath as he looks at me. They communicate telepathically, but he doesn't say anything. Yet, his expression is actually somewhat playful and says, "How are you doing, kid?"
That's a detail that has stuck out for me. He crawled over to me to get to where I was, just like anyone might if they wanted to get a child to come out of hiding.
I see his eyes blink once or twice behind the lenses just as I'm thinking.
What are you? Next thing I know, I'm lying behind the recliner. Only now I'm facing the opposite direction. I lay there for only about a minute before one of my relatives walks over and asks me where I was. I tell them what I thought, that I'd been behind the recliner the entire time. He says, "No, we looked for you there. Where were you?" I didn't remember this for years, but one thing that did happen is that I can vaguely remember standing in the living room with these entities. The one who fetched me from out of hiding is holding a box-shaped device in his hands. I ask him where we are going or something about how we are going to leave the house and he says we're going out the window.
I don't understand.
The front windows of that house don't open. His tone is slightly amused, very much like that of a patient, friendly adult about to show a favorite child something interesting.
You'll see, he replies.
I turn towards the window and it's like the sun expands and comes through the window to pull me forward with this distinct feeling of vertigo. That's all I can remember from that experience.
Maybe you fellas would be interested in this. I had a lot of dreams, nightmares really, about grays when I was around seven or eightish.
Basically, they would show up and forcefully take me out of my house to who knows where. I would always wake up and call for my mom when they actually got hold of me. This was in the mid '9s when grays were all over TV. So, I just assumed it was because of that and never considered that I had actually been abducted.
But sometimes things sort of fit together really strangely. Like for example, the last abduction dream I had in my life was around 9 or 10 years old.
In the dream, I was being dragged down a long stainless steel hallway by a tall, pink-skinned, pinkeyed gray alien. As I'm being pulled suddenly from another corridor, it's hard to tell because this hallway is very undefined and reflective. Another alien appears. He's massive with scaly skin and a dinosaur or therapodlike head. He grabs the gray, who then drops me at the same time and puts it in some sort of headlock. The two fight for a second, and then the dinosaur alien slams the gray's face into the side of the hallway with such force as to burst its eyes and seemingly crush in its face. It sort of makes this complaint, can't exactly remember what it said, then falls to the ground limp.
At this point, the dinosaur-headed alien sort of just looks at me very closely.
Then I wake up. It's only strange to me now that I'm older because of the whole lizard man or reptilian alien thing. And I'm positive I had no ideas about that sort of thing as a child or just a few years ago for that matter.
This story was told to me by my childhood best friend. It supposedly happened to her cousin I never met. So I have no proof of any of it and won't pretend I can believe it's true, but she always swore it was. So here's a story.
live in a shitty suburban area of a mix of farm and desert that is Idaho.
Friend's cousin, we'll call him Ned.
Lives out in the boonies. Has a nice spacious house with his parents, just in shitty dry nowhere. Ned has a second story bedroom with a large window or patio or balcony, something where he likes to sit at night and read. One night, sees lights and other [ __ ] whatever.
watches for a while. All the lights in his house are off except his bedroom.
So, he somehow speculates that it's aliens and they must not see him. UFO.
Wow. Cool. Rad lands off in the distance. Dust blows up too much to make out any immediate detail. By the time the dust settles, all the lights are off. Some flashlights detected. nopes out and barricades up his house for the night. Maybe his parents weren't home or asleep. I don't know. Waits up for months, but never sees anything again.
Never heard about it again.
Here's a story my grandma told me. Her, my grandpa, and their six kids driving cross country to visit relatives. Get to Kansas. It's like 11 at night. Grandpa looking for a motel. They're driving by a cornfield.
Grandpa suddenly pulls off the road, shuts the car off, and just stares straight ahead.
Grandma is like, "What are you doing?"
He just stares without blinking down the road. All of a sudden, my grandma notices a bright orange light coming toward her on the passenger side.
She starts freaking out thinking it's a train and they are going to get hit.
She's hitting my grandpa and yelling at the kids to get out of the car.
Nobody is listening to her.
Right as the light is about to hit her passenger door, she wakes up and notices she slumped over in the seat, as is my grandpa. All the kids in the back seat are all in different positions.
Grandpa suddenly wakes up, starts the car, and drives like nothing happened. 4 hours had passed.
Nobody but my grandma remembers this [ __ ] still creeps me out.
I've been dealing with these [ __ ] for a minute. They're really annoying. When I was little, I was always really into sci-fi and supernatural [ __ ] Aliens included. but not central. Then when I was about 12 though, I spontaneously developed a significant fixation on grays out of nowhere, following what I at the time took for a dream.
Outdoors in an open grassland like an African savannah or northern New Mexico, a small tree in the foreground, a tall gray standing beneath the tree, sort of leaning on it. Yes, like the alien selfie.
[ __ ] I just made that connection. I don't actually feel threatened in any way. It reaches out toward me with one hand, holding an enormous twisty mushroom, which I now recognize as some sort of psilocybin mushroom.
Says, "Here, this will make you smarter." I eat the mushroom and my vision starts to morph and twist in a character I now recognize as that of psilocybin.
Distortion increases until everything is unrecognizable, at which point I awoke.
The memory is still really clear.
It doesn't do that thing where it gets more fuzzy over time like dream memories usually do.
Even if it was just a dream, my brain thinks it really happened.
This was before I knew thing one about drugs or alternate history theories, for example, stoned ape theory or alien lore beyond UFOs.
This led to a fixation which led to a paranoid phobia, reading everything I could online and losing sleep over it. I didn't have any sort of actual encounters with them past this for a long time.
But I feel like I've been monitored by them basically since forever.
