Um that day when you came from lunch and the entire class was just noisy. Half of the people ran inside already and they were making noise and another set was outside and the teacher stopped and blocked the door and she decided that those that are outside must remain outside and then she sends the ones inside out.

[00:06:02]You'd have seen it in the the Gleer. I'm not so sure how they pick up the news so fast. And um the interpretation of it is that of panic and stress. And if you look at even some of those um attorneys that are going live, individuals going live, cuz it's not just attorneys, like they're just selling people panic. Oh my god. You'll have to go um to the consulate in order to um do your interview and come back even if you're married to a US citizen. And the truth is that >> so in layman's term when you say go to the consulate mean you have to go back to your country.

[00:06:38]>> But what what they don't tell people that this is a memo. A memo does not erase the law. A memo does not erase the statute. Yes.

[00:06:49]>> And the statute permit those children of US citizen, spouse of US citizen, um parents, we talk about minor children, parents of US citizen and so on. Those are individuals that can adjust their status in the United States and still can adjust their status in the United States. That has not changed since that memo on Friday. It is still the law.

Horrific.

[00:08:57]>> One thing that persons need to know though, let us say that that memo was to ever become the law.

[00:09:03]>> Mhm. where you have to go back home to do your interview. There are waiverss available.

[00:09:11]You apply for your waiver, your waiver is approved, then you leave. You go do your interview, you do your medical, you fly back to the United States. You don't apply for a waiver and leave before you know whether or not it's approved.

[00:09:25]>> Right. So, there are things in place.

[00:09:27]So, it's not um it's it's not how they're making up making it out to to be. Is it hard? Yeah. Because um when you sit down and listen to to some of this and then when your phone start blowing up because you know your clients are reaching out and I have to be saying to my clients, hey, whenever I say to you to start worrying, that's when you should start worrying. As it is right now, calm your nerves. Yeah, >> calm calm your nerves. All these kind of information is going to be out there.

[00:10:02]And remember now, everybody put out all of this madness. Why? Because they're racing for your business as well. Oh, use me, pick me, pick me, pick me.

[00:10:11]Literally, that's what they're doing.

[00:10:13]They're not necessarily trying to educate um or calm the individual so that they can make sensible decisions, sensible choices. they're putting them in a place where um they're stressed out, they're panicking. I will tell my people on my lives like listen, I don't do the whole panic talk because if after I put you in panic mode and you come your book with me, then you're not in a position to contract. M >> I don't believe you'd be in a position to contract um when that kind of thing happens >> because now you're either like a drunken man >> or you're a minor. You're just not you just don't have the capacity to contract. And that's in my and that's in my estimation. So you want people to be calm and collective when they're coming to you to to book so they are certain of what they want. You can hear out all that they need to say. you can ask the relevant questions, get the answers because they're thinking straight and then they can get the appropriate service that that is needed cuz sometimes what they come to you about and what they really should be getting is different, you know.

[00:11:49]>> Now whilst you can adjust their status once their case become current meaning once a green card become available for them if they're still minors you can go ahead and adjust their status. Why or how? Because those small childrens do not accumulate unlawful presence. You start accumulating unlawful presence at 18 years old.

[00:12:15]>> All right. So that's something that that people need to know and understand. So it's not a broad brush um situation to say hey once um minor children you can't and you can do concurrent filing. No you can't. No you can't. and you can't because there's no green card available at the time of you filing.

[00:12:38]>> So, that's that's that's pretty much some of what's um going on right now. Um the air is a bit tense and it's it's it's tense because some of the individuals are not even hearing from their attorneys. So they're not sure how to feel and then they have to be asking random people or some of them are reading and remember that everything they're reading you know is showing gloom and doom. So just just imagine what kind of position um these people are in. But I believe as professionals we need to help to calm the masses and then work with them to get them documented because the end result is and always will be to get documented.

It it doesn't there was a lawyer Dr. Dia um um a lawyer name I think a daily hington walk or something like that and she was saying that there's going to be some court issues but based on what you're telling me what is there to take to court >> I don't hear I don't hear something for court because nobody has override written the the statute >> yes >> but remember now you know again they're selling excitement >> yes yes >> them sell excitement and get the people all riled build up on a panic and all of that cuz one of the thing that is going to happen now is that it's going to drive it's going to drive the service price up as well. All of this is going to yeah right be forcing price up. So they they probably don't understand some of the the panic that is being um created and and why they're stimulating these undocumented individuals the way they are doing it. But some of that is going to be happening. They're going to be seeing some of that happening as well. And I wouldn't be surprised to see even USCIS um decide to increase their prices as well.

[00:14:43]>> Continue doing that stuff. What they need to do though um I know especially those barge base you know what let me not name any case. Get help. get a mistake on it and the case is denied you're getting sent straight to court.

[00:14:59]They're sending a notice to appear for you to go in court and and the notice to appear is not taking a long time anymore to come.

[00:15:07]>> Right. It's coming quicker than normal.

[00:15:09]And bear in mind now it's right now you can just tell yourself it's an attorney season because the more they're getting those um NTAs is the more they need representation in the courts.

[00:15:24]>> Well, so >> well, and and and there's still no indication as to when they're going to resume the the issuance of uh immigrant visas.

[00:15:57]>> The difference though at that time is that the immediate relative category was not affected. It was the family preference categories that were were affected. So um I'm seeing that it it's seem it will take a change of administration in order to have this um fixed.

And when they go to the leasing office, nobody know if you live in there or they know if you live in there but you live with another man, not the man where you have paper say your husband.

Um the other day I would have spoken on Nationwide News Network and I was sharing with them that um I believe it's important for individuals to know their neighbors and make sure their neighbors knew them >> right because even looking through cases where um they would have said this they have spoken to the neighbor and the neighbor says they have spoken to the dad of the spouse and the person says they have spoken to and they have spoken to right I'm looking at myself as an example just the other day I was um walking in my community. Uh we could say it's a fairly new community. I moved here in 2024.

So they want to make sure that you know abuse your visa. So he wants to be mindful where that is concerned.

So, and since they're taking so long, possibly 5 to 6 years or so to complete and and give you a decision, we pray you probably find a new husband, new wife that is functioning really well and you can do your petition with that person and when you go for your interview now, you withdraw that old vow case. But it may just right now be a strategy because a lot of them will not will not be approved because they lack strength.

You probably want to meet your spouse in the Bahamas and get married, Portugal and get married, Europe and get married. Nobody's going to fight you about um you getting married. It's what you do afterwards that may be a problem or how it's done.

[00:29:09]Don't just take up on yourself and just be satisfied that oh it's time so I can get assessed and yes as much as I'm the best thing since sell sliced bread I can't do all the business that is out there get people know them for help if not choose to come to me but don't do it on your own this is not the season for it >> I am a US citizen I filed for my daughter before the blockage does this affect her she's 14 years Where's your daughter?
