[00:07:34]>> Um but um yeah, I in the early 2000s I was I I discovered it. I was I was a big Roseanne fan, too, and a Charlie's Angels fan. You got Cheryl Lad in this [ __ ] Um, and also let me point out point out that Leonardo DiCaprio is credited as like kid number two in this movie. Do we know this?

Like I figure in those runchy sex comedies you probably had about three like boob scenes per average, right? And that's kind of what you have in a lot of these type of movies like whether it was like you know um u what's her name like a Megan Ford ninja movie or um you know um who's the god who's the real tall one who married um >> married Kevin Eastman um Julie Strain you know like there was a whole subgenre of Roger Corman produced movies like this >> they all had the same >> also there was also boxing Helena which was also like the whole like mysterious like mansion type thing that was >> Bobby knows. Bobby knows that when he mentions boxing Helena, I've got a a DVD of it handy waiting for his next visit.

[00:22:37]I never went to I was never a Blockbuster guy.

[00:22:46]I was a Sun Coast video kid because I wanted to buy the movies. I don't want to rent them.

[00:22:54]>> Sun Coast. I used to go to Sun Coast like every week and buy like horror movies or whatever DVDs. I would buy >> Oh yeah, dude. How many You know how many horror tapes I got for 10 bucks from Sun Coast?

[00:23:05]>> I would go through them with a fine tooth comb. I would look at every single title. Like I don't have that like I don't have that energy to do now. But back then like I would literally start at the A's of the comedies and the Z's and I'm like all right on to the dramas.

[00:23:23]I will say this about VHS, there was something about the dimensions of a tape like that they were just thick enough that even when the tapes were like you were looking at the just the spines, you could navigate through pretty briskly and like that's something as DVD it got really thin. So then it really takes more time to read all the titles and you got Blu-rays got thinner and you know >> I think VHS was the the the the allore of VHS was the spine like reading like seeing the spine like and seeing the title and going from there. When DVD came out to me it was all about the cover. So you wanted to see like you know it lined up like that and it was like kind of like a like a comic book store in a way like you like oh man I want to see that. Like if the cover was like front, not the spine. Yeah. Okay.

[00:24:11]>> Exactly. You wanted to see that the spine like it was so small. So like it would it wouldn't have the same impact.

[00:24:17]>> So DVDs >> said I was VHS cover guy and the DVDs, you know, they would do the cheap early 2000s Photoshop crap >> and some of a lot of the B movies would do that. Yeah. The reason I like the spines is like I remember two two things that really got me into this and and I'll stop with on this rant with this, but I remember buying a Vanam Universal box set and then seeing all the like Universal logos at the top of the tapes lined up and thought that looked really good. And then I remember at one point my dad, even though we owned them all, my dad bought like a Rocky box set of tapes that like it was all the sides of the tapes were him with the American flag or whatever and they lined up lined up across a bunch of the tapes and I was like that's Awesome.

[00:25:01]>> They did that with Nightmare on Elm Street, too, I think.

[00:25:04]>> Yep. Y >> Yeah, the first I think DVD release uh box set out of of the Platinum series, whatever. God, that takes me back. New Land Platinum series. But anyway, um yeah, I I feel you. So, those any rate, you know, this, you know, VHS nostalgia runs runs rampant with these movies. But also in the chat whiskey for saying I forgot this movie and confused it with the Alicia Silverstone Carrie Elways one. Um that of course is the crush. Uh, Jennifer Rubin, of course. Um, God, love that movie. Um, but yeah, I love that whole genre. You know, there should be I wish I had a shelf of subg genres. This would certainly be one of them.

[00:25:39]>> Um, yeah, this one for me, I feel like it this is one of those movies that felt like it came out right on TV. And maybe I'm sort of confusing it with the Amy Fisher one or whatever.

[00:25:52]>> Theatrical release. If if this is the only one, this is the only one that did.

Like almost nothing but cringing. The second one is beyond that in terms of uncomfortability. Like way worse. The third one is like okay it's sleazy9s and it doesn't apologize for it and neither does Jamie Presley and she's perfect in it. And >> yeah, it's really it's like really bad.

I respect And of course when I watched that one I was like 12 years old and I was hoping that it would be exactly what it was.

It's like straight out of bachelor party like just >> and then he's just dying. You never find out if he lives or not when she like tries to kill him with the carbon monoxide in the um in the garage. You just never know if he dies or not.
