[00:02:04]We need to get some bricks to fix up the I told you we are working on the to reinforce or to fix up the spaces that are in between the wall and the the timbers, you know, before we put the iron sheets. So, we'll have to work it out so that when the iron sheets are put, no gaps are left in between the walls and the the roof. You know, maybe small small animals, creatures like rats can crawl in and also it's not safe. So, I don't know if this is Mary's drawing.

I've never by the way known Mary's hobbies dance >> she loves singing I know my nephews my big nephew Hansy he loves drawing even Ian he loves drawing Ian loves football. That is why the other time he was asking for shoes for playing football. Hansy used to play football but again sorry trying to clear my camera. Uh Hans used to play football but again um his condition he got he kind of got sick. He went through surgery. So uh it doesn't allow him to you know move like you know football needs a lot of energy. So he doesn't play that but he plays handball.

[00:05:18]I don't know if handball is also good for his health because of the condition he is in but I know he loves drawing.

[00:05:27]I also used to draw. One day I will show you my my photos. I don't know photos or portraits that I used to draw and put them on the wall. I don't know why I stopped. I think I should embrace that.

[00:05:42]Or what do you think guys? I should embrace uh drawing. I used to draw and put a portrait on a wall when I I was in Nairobi. So like u I used to feel depressed and then I start drawing. So whatever would come to my mind is what I would draw and then I would draw something beautiful that the friends who I had when they come to my house and see oh this is you. So you can draw a real person like I look at you and then I sketch you. So I was like, "Yeah, but nowadays I've been a bit lazy, so I don't do that. But I think I should be embracing." So with me, I don't know what Mary loves to do when she's here at home.

I just admired how they were swimming. Unfortunately, I can't swim. I'm scared of a lot of water like you know huge water bodies. I can't maybe I should try someday and go to Mombasa. Uh we have a beach there, the Indian Ocean. Maybe I'll try because here we don't have any. We have like Victoria but there I've been studying it like the water is not that clean to swim in. So maybe the Indian Ocean I will try someday and or maybe I go for swimming classes something like that but I don't know how to swim and I I'm eager to know.

[00:08:10]I think I should try I should give it a shot. What else? Um reading books. I love reading books. I have plenty of books that I read although nowadays I've been busy. So yeah, I always sometimes I carry my book with me when I'm moving around. So when maybe I'm bored, I don't want to scroll on the internet, I just open a book and read. One, two, three. Uh yeah, that things I I hate to do.

Remember when it was being built when mama started it uh 8 years back, there were no windows here. So with these windows, maybe we'll fence and then at least it will be a bit secure. Maybe building a wall it will be a bit secure. Anyways, it's dusty. So I wanted to show you how the gable looks like from this thing.

Can you see this space is for a gutter and there are two I think they should be.

[00:15:41]Not from the top but from the gable design. And then we will put gutter like you see from that far end gutter will run so that uh we collect water. We'll get a tank. We'll be collecting water inside a tank that will be so helpful.

[00:16:15]I think a gable is the one that needs to be filled with bricks. Uh we have a beautiful design somehow. [00:16:52]I think there's a there's some sort of decoration that pastor showed me, pastor, our mason, he showed me. Uh after the iron sheet, there's some white stuff. I don't know if it's timbers that we put there around the house. So, it brings the the beautiful the beauty of the tim of the iron sheet somehow. I don't know. We have a look at it. I just noticed out here.

[00:17:33]Oh, will this one really go back to normal? It was affected by this when when they brought this ballast. I think dad was not around to show them where to pour it. So, they pour it on top of this banana trunks. And this trunk now is I thought maybe it would go back, but when you try to push I don't know, maybe it might break, but it's still alive because you see it's green. If it would have died, it would have turned maybe to brown or something like that or just died. But we thank God. So I can imagine down there there are some other baby trunks. Like this one is a baby trunk, but it managed to come out successfully. And this one is really trying. You see how it's affected. Oh lord.

[00:18:18]And although it will have to wait. I don't know if there are other baby trunks down there. baby banana chunk that um needs help for it to grow. But this ballast will be used to create the floor of the house. Remember we create a concrete to fill up the entire house. The floor of the house I was told that is how it it's done although I didn't know more about it. So this one will be used and also we have the remaining of this. Th this ballast are different. I don't know if you remember this one was brought separately and then this one was crushed from these stones.

[00:18:58]So we have some few stones remaining. So I was thinking if we would want to like create a wall, build a wall, not a bigger one. I think maybe here and then a gate an entrance and then maybe how on this side are we going to work it out for God's sake? because there are trees that extend into our into our compound that are not ours.

[00:19:27]Unfortunately, when I think when they were selling this part of land, they kind of maybe didn't take the correct measurements because what I heard from mom and dad is that uh you see this fence, the one that is acting as a fence, uh those trees are inside. I believe you can see them. They are inside the compound.

[00:19:49]So, if we'll have to like build a wall, it will have to be moved to somewhere here so that we have a straight wall. I don't know how about the trees. If the owner was kind the other time to sell for us, by the way. Um, we would have just cut both and then we have uh enough space for us.

[00:20:12]But if it's building a wall again, I'm just thinking. Let's see. We'll have to squeeze it towards the inside if I'm not wrong. But this tree is so big. That's how thick it is.

[00:23:52]And it looks uh it doesn't look beautiful. So, towards this area, a chicken coupe, a kitchen, a storage.

[00:24:00]It's big. I mean, from that area to this one, it is very big. So, we will just create. It's not a something in a hurry.

[00:24:08]No. As long as we have this one, this kitchen is still uh helping with a lot of things. Uh storage of some firewood maybe and cooking in there, but it will have to be taken down. Also, remember the there's a tunnel that leads smoke up. It will also make the house to be dirty. So once we'll be building something, I'll have to come up with something good that uh if it's firewood that we'll be using, the firewood won't be able to affect uh the house or maybe thatify the walls.

She had transplanted the onions, the spring onions also. They are doing well.
