[00:00:00]Let's talk about loving for others what we love for ourselves.

[00:00:03]The prophet peace be upon him said, "You see the believers as regards their being merciful among themselves and showing love among themselves and being kind resembling one body. So that if any part of the body is not well, then the whole body shares the sleeplessness and fever with it." We've all heard this before, but do we really think it applies to us?

[00:00:27]Well, [music] it does. We should be feeling pain for so many areas of right now, but not in a way that stops us doing anything. Syria for 13 years has been marred by complex areas of war, of pain, of displacement, and they are lacking the most basic needs. That's why we'll hit her exists. Allahu Akbar.

[00:00:48]Because we as a body of the ummah have a chance to alleviate their suffering.

[00:00:52]So let's honor the sunnah of prophet Ibrahim alayhis salaam and give our qurbani to the war affected families of Bilad ash-Sham.
