My Tesla Drives Off The Highway!
Added:Everyone, how you guys doing? Hope you guys are doing well.
Today we're going to be driving my Model 3 running uh FSD 12.6.4 using hardware 3.
And uh thank you guys so much for all the love and support you guys are showing on the videos.
Um be sure to comment down below what you guys want to see, what you guys like to see.
And uh like and subscribe if you're new because I post videos like this one all the time.
So, today I shouldn't see much issue.
Um we're going to be driving some very peaceful streets today and uh a little bit of highway driving, too.
So, right now the Tesla's driving very smoothly, very centered. There's no cars, so it's not in any complicated situation like if you guys seen in the downtown videos where it's a complete disaster downtown.
In these kinds of streets, it performs very, very well. No complaints.
We're going a little faster than I'd like, so I am going to drop it. Speed limit is 50, so I'm going to drop it to 60.
I'll be a little comfortable there.
Preferably, I drive pretty close to the speed limit, like 5 km over, maybe.
But 10 km should be fine.
Um if you guys are very uh you know, if you guys prefer not to speed, you could go into the settings and change the speed offset.
So, per you could uh tweak your Tesla and FSD to your liking. So, if you guys are, you know, afraid of like going a little bit over the limit, you guys could uh you know, put um the speed offset to 0%.
So, it won't go that far up.
Since it is the morning, it changed the from dark mode to light mode.
Um let me know what you guys think, like what you guys like. I usually do light mode.
But, I'm just going to keep it in light mode.
You guys want me to put dark mode, you know, try out all the different kind of display settings, you know, do rainbow road, uh let me know in the comments, uh and I'll switch my switch my settings. Maybe you guys want to see some of that.
And it switch over it switch lanes to get around that slower traffic.
And uh we're in the left lane, and we're just cruising.
Making our way towards the highway, switching lanes.
And um we're slowing down behind this Corolla right here.
And uh it's very smooth.
It's very nice.
Very, very smooth. It's not aggressive at all.
It's almost like I would do it. Maybe even a little bit better than I would do it cuz it's so uh precise with its uh with slowing down.
So, um now the light has changed, so we're going to be getting back to speed.
It accelerates just as smoothly as it slowed down.
And it gets to uh roughly around 60.
We're going to be getting over to the right lane here to get onto the highway.
We're speeding up a little. I guess the Tesla's trying to find an opening.
Speeding up a lot, damn.
Found an opening in front of this Ford, right behind the Corolla.
And it switches over one. It needs to switch over one more to get onto the Yep, and it did that.
That was very very cool. And now we're uh getting onto the on-ramp.
And it's taking this curve very nice.
And we get to enjoy this beautiful beautiful morning.
That's so awesome. The sky is so awesome in the morning. I love sunsets, but sunrises, there's just something about it with the clear skies.
And now we're accelerating to highway speeds.
There is a car coming. The car isn't letting us merge. It's going way faster in the right lane, which is not cool.
And uh the car let it FSD let the car pass and it's switching over to the to the to the highway.
And now we're just following the flow of traffic right now.
Traffic is going really fast in the morning. You know, people are trying to get where they need to go, so yeah, we are going pretty fast. I prefer to go just a little bit slower than this.
You know, we're all trying to get somewhere and I know in the morning everybody's just, you know, tired. They just want to get to work, get to wherever they need to go.
But we all got to be a little bit safe, you know. Getting into an accident at high speeds in the morning is not is not going to be a good way to start your morning.
So, I like to take it a little bit slow.
I like, you know, just being extra cautious.
And sometimes there's, you know, cops just uh giving a lot of people tickets. You know, the Toronto is holding hosting the the World Cup.
So, there is a lot higher presence.
And we are just cruising very smoothly.
There's a truck merging here. We're switching lanes. We're going to have to slow down, you know, get slow down by this truck. We're going to have to go to this right lane.
This actually This lane actually ends, so we're going to have to get back over.
I hope Tesla recognizes it.
And it's it It doesn't recognize it. It doesn't recognize it. What the heck?
That's crazy. That's actually crazy.
It was just It was just going in that shoulder. I've never seen that happen.
That's crazy.
That was uh That was pretty bad. I've never seen FSD do that.
I think that's the first time I've ever seen it just go into the shoulder like that and just continue driving.
I was really expecting it to just go back to the lane. I guess it doesn't really recognize these construction these construction lines, these orange lines.
Usually it's really good at uh detecting that. I I I wonder why that um happened.
But, anyways, that was that was terrible. That was a fail.
And but the rest of our drive hopefully is a lot smoother, so we are uh we are going to this exit ramp here.
The road is uh pretty loud today.
It's just very smooth, centered.
That incident earlier is just pretty crazy. I've never seen that happen.
We're slowing down.
Still centered.
Now we're going to get over to the right lane to make this turn.
We're going to turn right here.
Should stop at the the crosswalk here.
Not crosswalk, but the the line.
And um the pillar camera should be able to see if there's oncoming traffic. I'm just going to press the gas just a little bit because there's a car behind me.
And uh we made the turn.
And that was really smooth. It followed the road.
Um it didn't see anything. I also gave it some gas, so I did nudge it to you know, kind of go through with that turn.
And uh we're back at 60. It knows the speed limit's 60. Just figured all that stuff out on its own.
Now we're going to be making it through this light here.
Just goes through the intersection very well. It sees all the cars on the visualization, which is really awesome.
It's getting over a little bit to the left side of this this lane because of the curb. I guess it doesn't want to stay anywhere close to the curb.
And um we're just cruising very peacefully.
It is uh jittering a bit in the lane.
It's uh kind of going to the left side of the lane. Uh I prefer it though, a little bit. Away from the curb is fine. We're getting over to this this middle cruising lane.
Now we're just driving very smoothly.

And we are just cruising down this empty street and it's it's really nice especially when it's roads like this.
Just I don't have to worry. I can just sit back and just just relax a little bit.
You do got to pay attention cuz when stuff like what just happened on the highway happens, like you got to be you got to be able to take control of the situation and make sure make sure you can uh make the situation safe again.
So you always got to pay attention. You always got to know what's around you.
Check your mirrors. Check your blind spots.
Like just you always got to be be aware.
Just very smooth.
Just following the lane.
Switching lanes very smoothly.
No cars.
Going to go a little bit downhill, so we're going to do some regen right here.
Charge our battery just a little bit, you know, get some get some of that energy back instead of using the brakes like a gas car.
We're going to be making a left turn here.
FSD in Teslas can just make your make your drive a whole lot easier.
You know, sometimes it does make mistakes and you got to be aware of that, but for the most part, it does make your make your drive a lot easier.
