[00:00:14]The Women Air Force Service Pilots, or WASPs, in America and Britain's Air Transport Auxiliary, the ATA, took on vital, highly dangerous ferrying missions. Their job was to deliver untested warplanes, wrestling massive B-17 bombers and lightning-fast P-51 Mustangs from assembly lines to active airbases. Flying without combat armor, they battled brutal weather, catastrophic mechanical failures, and rampant discrimination.
