This video examines multiple cases of defendants who displayed extreme disrespect and disruptive behavior during court proceedings, including throwing papers at judges, refusing to follow court orders, and engaging in confrontational outbursts. These individuals faced consequences ranging from contempt of court charges and additional jail time to life sentences, demonstrating that courtroom misconduct can result in severe legal penalties beyond the original charges.

These Criminals COMPLETELY LOST IT In Court… 😳Added:
Hi YouTube. Welcome back. It's me, Marshy. All right, chat. We are back in court once again. We're going to be taking a look at the most disrespectful defendant of all time. Let's see.
>> This is Sydney Newsome, who is standing before Southern District Judge Aubrey Rimes in Pike County Justice Court in Mississippi. News is facing a domestic violence charge. He's handcuffed and shackled. Initially, he appears relatively calm as he reviews the paperwork. Tensions started building when the transport officer tapped the table, seemingly agitating Nuome. Not long after, Nuome's mother and brother enter the courtroom, and he tries to go and meet them before being guided back.
No, no, no. Don't leave paperwork.
Newsome started arguing with the judge.
The judge wasn't having it today and quickly ordered his removal from the court. But Newsome has a plan. He hurls A STACK OF PAPERS AT THE JUDGE, but that doesn't satisfy him. The transport officer attempts to subdue Nuome, BUT HE OVERPOWERS HER SITUATION. Where's the cops at? TELEPHONE AT THE JUDGE AND KNOCKS OVER the monitor. It's now times to TAKE CONTROL.
>> GET HIM. GET HIM. GET HIM. [screaming] YEAH. YEAH. YEAH.
>> NOW NEWSOME'S BROTHER BECOMES INVOLVED, adding to the >> judge had to get up from his desk, go and get him. That is crazy. Where's everyone? Where's the cop? Where?
Where's the guard? Where's everybody?
Like anyone besides the judge. Fusion.
Additional transport officials rushed into >> There we go. Fine. About time. About time.
>> The courtroom. Judge Rimes regains control to restore order. Newsome's brother is eventually removed from the court and proceedings resume. As a result of his disruptive behavior, Sydney Newsome is charged with contempt of court and serves 48 hours in jail. However, this wasn't the only time a convict freaked out during their sentencing.
>> Excuse me.
Take for example the case of 49year-old Anthony Reading [music] who's facing >> Why did he rip out his shirt like he'sing Superman? You are not tough.
LIKE WHAT WAS THAT FOR? That That looks pathetic. He's hawking out. Right.
Right. He's hawking out. That was kind of cringe. Look.
Whatever.
It's too small.
Take for example the case of 49-year-old Anthony Reading was facing a charge of felonious assault in Union County, Ohio.
Reading allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face so badly that she lost an eye. Reading [screaming] claimed the punch was offense and pleaded not guilty. As if Reading's crime was not outrageous enough, his reaction to his sentence was even more dramatic.
>> She lost an eye.
>> The jury, the courts informed that you re that you have reached a verdict. Is that correct?
>> Yes. This jury defended Anthony.
>> After the jury reached a verdict and [music] was dismissed, reading geared.
>> Why is it not domestic? Why is it felonious assault? Is that a difference?
Ah, he punched his girlfriend and she lost eyesight on that eye. Ah, the severity of it.
So, it's worse than uh domestic violence. Oh, okay. So, felony charge.
Okay. Okay. up to hear his sentence from Judge Donald Frasier. However, Reading's [music] emotions run high before the sentence is read.
>> That's what I got.
>> He's not going to relax.
>> His attorney puts in a word hoping to get him to his senses.
>> Can't be here. I can make things sentencing to go through.
>> Okay. Tough guy.
>> Too small either way.
While they exchange words, the judge intervenes before the situation escalates.
>> No reason for you to be acting this way.
>> Come on, let's go.
>> I think it's [music] appropriate that the deputies >> one v one the judge. Hello. [music] >> Get in. One v one him. I'm sure you can win. With the proceedings continuing, [music] the prosecutor presents their statement arguing for a strict and stringent sentence based on Reading's conduct dating back to 2008.
>> The state believes that his conduct dating back to at least 2008 warrants the most strict and stringent sentence available.
>> Shut the up, [clears throat] piece of >> Godamn.
>> Then it's Reading's turn to speak. This >> is not good.
I did not intentionally hit and this will be ruination of my life.
>> You didn't intentionally hit your ex-girlfriend while she lost an eyesight. So intentionally or not, you caused damage. That poor woman can't see in one eye. So >> finally, Judge Frasier delivers the sentence.
>> All right. Well, the court um finds uh that there's no genuine remorse shown here. Mhm.
>> Court further finds that a maximum SENTENCE >> NO REMORSE >> is warranted. Total prison sentence imposed is >> 18 years.
>> Reading is sentenced to 18 years in state prison. This means he won't be eligible for release until 2037 when he'll be 68 years old. However, Anthony Reading isn't alone in his actions.
Let's not forget the infamous incident involving 35-year-old Michael McDonald.
>> That's 35. That's a rough 35 >> assistance in 15 charges.
>> 15 charges. Come on. [music] I don't want >> who was accused of violating his parole.
A year ago, he was released on bond while awaiting trial for various charges stemming from a contentious divorce and custody case. His ex-wife had a no contact order to keep him away from her and their children. The state now claims he violated parole by breaching this.
Despite the no contact order, Macdonald allegedly sent gifts addressed to his children, which his lawyer claims he didn't know violated the order.
>> Sent two gifts. That's it. No nasty notes with him.
>> Nasty knows.
>> Donald is not violent or a threat to the community. He has had no allegations of violence.
>> The defense argues for his continued freedom until trial.
>> His release condition was to have no contact with the individual, his ex.
>> Yeah. No contact means, no present.
>> A month ago in June, he then mailed mailed a number of items to this address.
>> However, judge Kathy Hardcastle is aware of the history and isn't convinced.
>> We know that back in family court, he constantly violated orders.
>> Not his first time violating the orders.
>> Just that the order said something else.
I'm not sure that he is capable of controlling himself because he wasn't before. So based upon that, I am granting the motion.
>> Just when you thought McDonald couldn't sink any lower, his behavior in the court.
>> After the decision, court marshals approach McDonald to take him into custody. He resists, prompting a struggle.
>> I'm not resisting. I swear.
>> Put your hand behind your back.
>> But I'm not resisting. HEY, GET HIM.
>> Get him.
>> Oh my god.
>> I don't know if he has a game plan or not.
>> I'll put him on myself.
I like your mic. I don't want >> Despite threats of being tased, McDonald continues resisting, leading to additional charges.
>> I just want to see >> I'm telling you, I'm manifesting hard. I just >> McDonald was later found guilty of burglary, forgery, and perjury related to his case, receiving a sentence of 24 to 68 months in Nevada state prison. He also faced an extra charge of resisting an officer due to his actions during the hearing. However, while it was clear that Macdonald wasn't happy to hear he was going to be romanted in custody, his reaction to the decision was similar to the case of 21-year-old Milton Watts.
>> I already ruined my life.
>> That's 60. You want to go for 90?
>> 90. Go for 90.
>> That's 90 more. who turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest due to his refusal to appear on a domestic violence charge in Berea Municipal Court. Judge Chris, pictured here, is presiding over the case, and the interaction between Watts and the judge quickly gets off to a rocky start.
Judge Green questions Watts about his absence in court the previous month.
>> You were, >> are we sure this is 21? Cuz that hairline not giving 21. This is rough.
supposed to be here last month. You did not appear. Why weren't you here?
>> But Watts has an excuse.
>> Yeah.
>> Go ahead.
>> You got to go work.
>> Uh, somebody died in the family.
>> There was no reason for me to be here.
>> However, Judge Green isn't impressed with the excuse.
>> Well, it's not an engraved invitation, son. It's a court order.
>> Yeah.
>> All right. I'm resetting it then for you. Watts attempts to handle the situation himself, stating he doesn't need an attorney.
>> Your attorney withdrew, so you'll have to hire an attorney.
>> He's going to present himself.
>> No, I don't need an attorney.
>> But his understanding of the legal process appears limited.
>> You're a lawyer?
>> Nope.
>> Do you want to talk about me a bond with me? What do you want to tell me?
>> About what?
>> Bond.
I don't know.
>> He's like, "What's that?"
>> Let's be honest with you.
>> His attitude isn't wellreceived by the nononsense judge Green.
>> That's going to cost you 30 days in the county.
>> The judge then sets a $5,000 cash shorty bond subject to a temporary protection order.
>> It's $5,000 cash shy bond temporary subject to the temporary protection order. Despite this, Watts continues to display a defiant attitude, prompting Judge Green to add more days to his sentence.
>> Let's go.
>> What is he What's he throwing?
>> I just swore at the judge.
>> Can I give you a piece of advice?
>> What?
>> You can either make life easy or you can make life hard.
>> Uh-huh.
>> I already ruined my life.
>> That's 60.
>> You want to go for 90?
>> 90 going for one.
>> That's 90 more.
Jesus Christ.
>> Even as his mother and family beg him to stop.
>> And stop.
>> Yeah. Listen to your mom. [screaming] >> ARE YOU STILL COUNTING, [ __ ] >> LET'S make it 365.
>> Go in once.
>> Go in twice.
>> Son.
>> Eventually, Judge Green decides to reduce the sentence to 90 days in jail.
However, while Watts's behavior was shocking, I know this judge to the utter mayhem caused by Sher Miami Dade Bond.
I've seen her before Cuba, tell me.
>> Um, I don't try to hit with the pliers.
>> The other Jeez, [screaming] >> lots of we got methan,000.
Judge Mindy Glazer is handling bond hearings today, but one particular case stands out. Sher Lynn >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She's the one that knew of one of the guys. So I think if I remember correctly, she knew one of the the guy that she went to school with, but then she met Right. Right. YEAH.
YEAH. YEAH. THAT THAT I mean I saw her on Twitter. Oh.
>> Facing charges of felony battery and resisting arrest with violence. Lynn appears remotely and has a public defender.
's demeanor is immediately noticeable and from the very start evidence that she's not pleased to be in court.
>> But have you ever been treated for any mental health issues?
>> Why don't you GO [ __ ] YOURSELF FIRST?
>> SHERRY, YOU CAN'T SAY THAT.
>> She finds it somewhat amusingly [laughter] addresses behavior.
>> Okay. Well, I'm a little busy right now.
>> I'm busy right now.
>> Ma'am, I'm just trying to help you.
>> Ma'am, he's trying to help you. And please don't use [laughter] profanity or try and disrupt my courtroom cuz I don't want to be forced to pull you in contempt of court. Judge Glazer addresses the charges against Lynn, including an alleged attempt to hit someone with pliers. She orders Lynn to stay away from the alleged victim's home and place of business. The judge sets the bonds for the various charges, including $1,000 count.
>> And I'm ordering that you stay away from Cynthia Cuba. Do not have any contact with her, and you must stay away from her home or place of business.
>> But Lynn isn't going to accept that quietly.
>> Who is this?
>> Of course not.
>> Cuba, tell me. Um, I also try to hit with the pliers. The other >> Wait, she doesn't even remember who she hit it with. Like, how many people are you hitting with the pliers? Like, you don't remember who is who?
>> Taser. Taser.
>> Interestingly, Judge Glazer maintains her composure. She suggests that Lynn should consider getting medical attention and reiterates the orders before concluding the hearing.
>> Yeah, me trying to get you into the hospital.
>> In the end, Lynn is ordered to pay a $50 fine as part of the proceedings.
>> That's it.
>> However, let's compare the jaw-dropping reaction of Lynn to the astonishing outburst by Keith Ferguson during his sentencing in Kasa, Michigan.
>> Ooh, Michigan.
Ferguson is in court for the mindless.
>> Look at the mug shot. He's upset chat.
He is upsetty spaghetti. He's like, I don't like it. All of you. [laughter] Look at mug shot. I love seeing people mugsh shot. Like it's just so good. It's so good. [laughter] I love it. murders of his wife and in-law Ferguson guilty to the first degree and seconddegree murder of his wife Tiffany Ferguson and her father James Weber. After shooting her, Ferguson brought the kids to his father-in-law's house and killed him.
The children got away to a neighbor's home, but Ferguson broke into another neighbor's house and barricaded himself.
He eventually surrendered to the police.
Ferguson's actions were horrible, but little did anyone expect that Ferguson's response to their sentence would overshadow the outrageousness of their crime. The motive behind the gruesome act was believed to be Tiffany's recent filing for divorce.
>> Previous court appearances, Ferguson displayed disdain for the court and the judge.
>> You getting tased? Okay. His disruptive behavior continued during this arraignment where he refused to cooperate [music] and raised profane outbursts.
>> Can I get you to stand up there?
>> All right. I need >> All right. Um >> Okay. Stop.
Despite dropping several felony charges as part of his [music] guilty plea, including kidnapping and carrying explosives, Ferguson inexcusable dangerous. During the trial, the prosecution requested for the maximum sentence already murdered and murdered multiple people >> and fled and has taken hostages. There's no doubt my >> and carry explosives uh had a highrisisk in order.
>> The request sounded reasonable to the judge.
>> Two murders. We have issues of flight invasion, kidnapping.
>> Mhm.
>> You said it is a $10 million >> during sentencing.
>> $10 million bond. I have never heard such a high bond like that. 10 million.
Holy sham.
A friend of Tiffany Ferguson delivered a touching victim impact statement, highlighting the emotional pain caused by Ferguson's actions, particularly for his own children.
>> I knew one day you would kill her. She would always reply, "He loves his kids too much.
He [snorts] won't kill me."
"Well, we see how much you love them."
>> When Ferguson was given a chance to speak, he showed no remorse.
>> Apology. tragedy.
>> Yeah. No remorse.
>> What about the children?
[clears throat] >> Eventually, Judge George Mertz handed down the sentence of life in prison.
>> No possibility of parole. Let's go. Lab imprusion opportunity to hurt.
>> Nope. People never going to have the opportunity to be hurt.
>> But that didn't move.
>> However, just when you thought you've seen it all, another convict surpasses Ferguson's wild courtroom display.
>> He's getting ta. I know it. I can feel it. My champion.
>> Enter Quuahuru Govan, a 38-year-old facing murder charges in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Govan lived across the street from the Brazil family and had a connection with the victim's mother, Desiree, due to their shared neighborhood. On February 14th, [music] 2005, >> I'm sorry, on Valentine's Day. February 14th. Valentine's Day, >> Shawn set out for the Gates Avenue subway station, intending to meet his mother for a Valentine's Day lunch.
However, that lunch never took place.
Rashawn vanished without a trace. The days that followed yielded a grim discovery. Fragments of [music] Rashawn's body were uncovered in a subway tunnel. Even more horrifying, a hand and arm were found in a Brooklyn recycling facility. Tragically, [music] Rashan's head was never located. Court documents revealed a >> We did not escape Monday dismemberment chat. We did not. Nah. Give this guy max sentence. Uh-uh.
>> Shocking twist. Govon had attended Rashan's funeral and signed the rude >> the detective handling the case. Jason Palomara shared >> I can't believe he has the audacity to even attend the funeral and sign the book or if I were a family member. Oh my god.
>> Disturbing detail. Yoan had said that he hated Rashan because he was gay. He labeled him an abomination based on the interpretation of religious teachings.
This was reported from murdering the 19-year-old Rashawn. Fortunately, DNA evidence on Rashan's body pointed to Govon. Now, in the Brooklyn [music] Supreme Court, Govon is facing trial for his abominable crimes. Govon tries to stand up and plead his innocence.
Isn't having it.
>> Get in. Get in.
>> NO, YOU SIT DOWN. You sit down.
>> Ensu when Govon refuses to be fingerprinted and argues with the judge.
I will see you tomorrow.
>> But the judge had enough and orders were to be removed. Govon had to be in court every day until he agreed to be fingerprinted. Go pleaded not guilty to the crimes, but was sentenced to life imprisonment. However, it's not the first time a convict has lost control in court. Just like what happened in the notorious case of Alan McCarthy in Daytona Beach, Florida.
>> Oh, Florida like that. You [ __ ] >> It all started when the Valuia County >> Florida man >> concerning call from Alan Mccardi.
>> Communications Warhurst.
>> Yeah. I want to report a crime that's about to happen.
>> What do you mean? crime that >> Oh no, he's about to report a crime that he's going to commit. Oh, okay.
Self-report. Okay, >> it's about to happen.
>> Yeah, there's about to be a crime that's going to happen if my kids don't come back to me, you stupid cuz your stupid judges don't want to bring people.
I got a gun pointed at you.
>> You want to hire me as your lawyer? If I were to represent you in court as an anime VTuber, I fear I fear that it's GG for you. I don't think we're gonna win, chat. I think it's GG's. Imagine you're like, "Oh my god, yes." You have a lawyer. Yes. You know, and then you have a a little iPad representing. Yeah. Hi, it's me, Marie. I'm going to uh represent my chat. Okay. Okay.
[laughter] I'm pretty sure they're going to freaking turn off the iPad. Oh my goodness. That's an AI. You know he's going to call me an AI for sure. For sure. [laughter] >> Building.
>> Sir, what is going on?
>> Who the are you calling sir? You stupid [ __ ] What you doing at? You going to bring that [ __ ] out in handcuffs and I'm going execute that son of a right.
>> Yo, that's a threat. That's a threat.
This [ __ ] You going to give me my kids?
>> That's a threat.
>> Answer.
>> I just told you I'm outside of her building waiting for her to get there in THE MORNING. OH MY GOD.
>> You stupid.
>> Detectives soon arrested McCarti for making death threats against death he wrongly believes played a role in taking his children away in a custody case. A year later in a different courtroom, he faces his punishment. If you thought McCarti would show remorse for his crimes, be prepared for his jaw-dropping.
>> You know, this is why I was concerned about like lawyers and judges. Like I'm sure they receive a lot of death threats cuz a lot of criminals they not happy with the charges they get or they have beef you know so like being in that kind of field of work I feel like oh you got to hire like a bodyguard or something or maybe wear a bulletproof vest I don't know I feel like it's a very dangerous type of field >> conduct proceedings during the trial McCarti put on a show >> oh what are you going to do now yeah keep the kids away from him. I can see why.
>> Okay, >> I'm not under.
>> Despite his disruptive behavior, the judge carries on. Ultimately, Mccardi was eventually removed from court and found guilty of all the charges against want to be in the room or not. Do you want to?
>> No, >> I prefer not to, sir.
>> Well, you got him out for No. Do you want to be here or not? During the sentencing, McCarti's issues continued.
>> You're before the court.
>> Godamn to show cause contempt for behavior that he demonstrated during the jury trial.
>> What a bunch of you stupid people.
>> He t him.
>> You threatened my life, you >> the judge addresses McCarti's contemptuous behavior, but his disruptions persist, leading to his removal from the courtroom.
>> Nice >> back room. SUCK MY DICK.
>> NO, I'm not [laughter] resisting.
>> I'M NOT RESISTING.
>> I'M NOT RESISTING.
>> HE'S NOT RESISTING.
>> He's not resisting. Definitely not resisting.
>> You fall on that baby, you stupid threaten that [ __ ] >> Finally, the judge delivers the sentence. McCarti is adjudicated guilty.
Sentenced to 15 years in Florida state prison for one count. an additional 5ear sentence to run consecutively FOR ANOTHER COUNT ONE adjudicate him guilty sentence to Florida State Prison has to count two and adjudicate him guilty sentence him to 5 years to run strong female cops >> Alan Mccardi is a prime example of a convict acting crazy in court however could this outburst by Jonathan Alonso be considered >> he looks familiar do I know him >> you make whatever decisions you need to work out between your own selves Thank you.
>> You work it out between your own >> kind of sassy.
>> 30-year-old Jonathan Alexander Alonso is in court for the murder of his older lover, Lou Piper, aged 61, in Sunset Harbor, South Beach. Lou Piper's body was discovered by police in his apartment after co-workers reported his absence.
>> Oh no.
>> The state of decomposition indicated that Piper had been for several days.
>> Oh my god. scene that awaited the authorities was marked by stab wounds covering Piper's body. Blood soaked floors and walls alongside a trail of bloody footprints leading to the bedroom bore witness to the violent act.
Multiple knives stained with blood were also found within the residence. The suspect, Jonathan Alonso, was taken into custody 2 days later. The relationship between Alono and Piper had been complex. They had shared the same living space for over a year. Neighbors suggest that their relationship was romantic in nature. However, law enforcement had been summoned to their apartment on various occasions. In September, Piper had sought to have Alonzo removed from the premises, citing alleged domestic violence incidents.
>> However brutal the slaying was, wait till you hear how Alonzo justified the murder. Alonzo's court appearance took a disturbing turn.
>> She went on an eccentric rant, claiming [music] to be God's will. I'm selfless and I am God's will.
>> Selfless follow all I ever have.
>> That's the same Josh claims divine left those present.
>> Does she get all the unhinged defendants? Why are they all unhinged and weird?
>> You know what I mean? She gets all the weirdest like not even a single normal defendant. They're all freaking unhinged and freaking weird.
>> Bewildered [music] in the bond court. He addressed the judge with unconventional statements, suggesting that individuals should resolve their conflicts themselves as [music] he followed his own unique path as God's will.
>> You make whatever decisions you need to work out between your own selves.
>> Thank you.
>> Okay, bro. Well, it's God's will. You're going to go to prison forever. Okay.
Okay. Life in prison. Okay. Okay.
>> You work it out between your own selves.
Miami Beach police noted that Alonzo had been uncooperative throughout their investigation, going [music] so far as to disassemble recording devices during initial questioning and spitting on the police. Eventually, Alono was sentenced to 20 years and 6 months.
>> However, while some may attribute Alono's reaction to mental illness, it pales in comparison to the unfathomable behavior of 40-year-old Daryl Brooks.
>> Yeah. Yeah. I got I got requests. It ain't like they going to be honored though cuz >> as it relates to the jury instructions, sir, what are you?
>> I heard what the hell you said, man.
>> Well, Mr. Brooks, that was very disrespectful.
>> Yeah.
>> Who drove his car through a Christmas parade in WAW, Wisconsin, claiming the lives of six individuals ranging [music] from 8 to 81.
>> I'm sorry. during Christmas.
God damn. 76 charges, including six homicide counts and 61 counts of reckless endangerment. He drove through a parade. Nah. Nah. This guy's a monster. No. Yeah. Give him the most sentence. Yeah.
>> Years old and injuring over 60 others.
>> Nah. Death row. Oh my god.
This is a certain kind of evil chat.
Christmas crime.
No.
Oh my god.
>> You thought Brooks's crimes were reprehensible. Brace yourself for their shocking conduct during the proceedings, opting to represent himself in court.
Brooks's trial took a perplexing turn repeated interruptions, outbursts, and erratic behavior.
>> Of course, Mr. Brooks, do you have any requests?
trying what I hear to do. I'm trying to do.
>> Do you have any requests as it relates to the jury instructions?
>> Ain't nobody understand why I'm frustrated. How you going to sit up there and make decisions based on what you think I said when I didn't get consent for you to do any such thing?
>> These disruptions removal from the courtroom on [music] multiple occasions.
>> I'm advising you to stop asking those questions. It will be considered an inter. He's interrupted. Take him to the next courtroom. I'll make more findings when he is in the courtroom [laughter] uh next door. And do that without judge.
>> During the trial, a deeply unsettling event transpired. In an unnerving show of disrespect, [music] Brooks engaged in a prolonged starown with Judge Daro.
What the >> forcefully banging his fists on the table. This staredown terrified the >> creepy chat.
>> Take a break. This man right now IS HAVING [laughter] TEAR DOWN.
>> THIS IS ACTUALLY NOT freeze frame chat.
This is in real life. He is locked in >> with me. It's locked. He's not blinking.
He pounded his fist. Frankly, it [laughter] makes me scared.
>> Brooks's confrontational behavior and intimidating [music] demeanor continued even as he was removed from the court and was speaking from a separate room.
>> What are your requests as it relates What are your requests as it relates to the jury instructions, sir?
Man, don't try to come with this whole little image called sir. Dallas all this sir and all this.
>> Throughout the [music] trial, Brooks displayed behavior that veered from defiance to emotional breakdowns. He frequently contested the fairness of the trial and objected to questioning.
>> He pounded his fist once again, raised his voice. Um, I understand I really do that he made a decision to cut off his ability to present a defense, but that decision was made >> based on his conduct and his conduct alone.
>> So, let's be accurate on it on the record since you think YOU KNOW SO MUCH.
[laughter] SO, WE CAN OPEN THE DOOR. We can open the door on how she told you she was interrupting.
>> We can ask that question.
>> Over the top animated, >> Mr. Brooks, I'm ordering you TO SIT DOWN, >> BRO. SIT DOWN.
Brooks was eventually sentenced to six consecutive life sentences.
>> SIX consecutive life sentences. That serve him right. Yeah, you can go ahead and stay at the wall like that. Yeah.
For forever. That's right.
>> Defendant Daryl E. Brooks >> guilty of firstdegree intentional homicide charged in count one of the information >> dated this 26th day of October 2022 by the four person. However, when emotions run high in court, the actions of Brooks and Michael Gaines [music] leave us questioning sanity itself.

>> He's a tough guy now.
>> Tough guy now.
>> This is Michael Gaines who is in court for battery of a law enforcement officer.
>> Gains was accused of spitting on two detention [music] deputies. This act of aggression took a particularly concerning twist. Gains is HIV positive.
Now in court, >> I'm sorry. He's HIV positive. Did I see that right? Hold up. Hold up. Hold up.
He's spitting around. Hold up. Yo, [screaming] hold up. Put this guy in uh a bio suit, spit hood, everything in a burrito, five layers. I don't think so.
I don't think so.
>> Officer Gaines was accused of spitting on two [music] detention deputies. This act of aggression took a particularly concerning twist as GAINS IS HIV POSITIVE. [screaming] IN COURT, he appeared agitated to not allow the judge.
>> All the evidence shows that you [clears throat] >> I don't get it.
>> Deliberately.
>> Yeah. Okay.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know.
>> You deliberately were us. I didn't hawk up no saliva. Okay.
>> However, things got worse when Mr. Okconor, the deputy district attorney, contributed to the case.
>> I appreciate Mr. Gains making my point.
>> You punk.
>> Very well received.
>> I don't think I have to take >> I know you >> a tough guy now.
>> Gaines turned it to a cussing match.
>> Take out of the court.
>> Yeah, you're a tough guy. He's a punk.
He should have died when he was a baby.
>> He was eventually removed from the court. If you thought these reactions were shocking, you'd be amazed at this video of couples reacting to life sentences.
>> Bro, that is crazy. We don't need someone who has HIV positive spitting around. Okay. If I was a judge and I knew I knew that I was getting him as a defendant in front of me, I would have just put people in uh spit hood. Spit hood chat. Spit hood. I don't think so.
Spit hood everything. Make that guy wear a mask. Five mask. Yeah. No. Don't Don't even come near me. I don't think so.
[laughter] Yeah. No. Put him in the box and then we can talk. Okay. That was insane. Holy
