When individuals refuse to cooperate with law enforcement during investigations, they often face more serious legal consequences than if they had simply complied and told their side of the story. In the cases presented, shoplifters who resisted arrest, denied their actions, or attempted to flee ended up with additional charges such as resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, or obstruction, whereas those who cooperated and were honest about their actions typically faced only the original charges. This demonstrates that panic and defiance can transform a manageable situation into a more serious legal problem.

When Shoplifter Thinks Her Walmart Theft Went UnnoticedAdded:
Get on the GROUND NOW.
>> NO, BECAUSE I >> GET ON THE GROUND.
>> NO, I DON'T STEAL ANYMORE.
>> STEAL. I would never steal. And I mean, if things are not ringing up, I'm not precipitating that.
>> Instead of showing remorse after being caught stealing, some thieves chose to deny their actions, causing chaos, and making up lies to escape responsibility.
But under the law, every action eventually came with a fair consequence.
These are the moments when shoplifter thinks her Walmart theft went unnoticed.
We are This is Law. Don't forget to like and subscribe.
Starting with the woman and her late remorse.
>> And I paid for some stuff and I left this I didn't leave this store. I was like only out like just checked out.
>> I'm so embarrassed. Please.
>> It happens. Listen, it happens.
On the 5th of December 2023, police were dispatched to a Target store after receiving reports of a theft. The suspect was believed to be a woman who deliberately pushed a full shopping cart containing multiple unpaid items. These were the events that unfolded at the scene.
>> Hi, ma'am.
>> Hi, >> I'm Officer Buchi. I'm with the police department.
>> What happened today?
>> Um, uh, no, I don't know. I thought I thought you the police weren't coming.
Oh my gosh. So, >> listen. I'm I'm just trying to figure out what's what's going on, okay? So, what happened?
>> My kids are in the car.
>> So, listen, man. We are out with the kids, okay? They're okay.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> Just just just listen to me real quick.
Okay.
>> Just stay calm.
>> Just try and take a deep breath, okay?
Um, obviously the gentleman here sounds like he tried to bag some items and leave the store. Okay. Can you just be honest with us and just tell us what happened today?
>> Yes. I just >> I had some stuff in a bag that I didn't want my kids to see that was for Christmas that I was going I didn't mean to take all of it.
>> Okay.
>> And I paid for some stuff and I left this I didn't leave the store. I was like only out like just checked out.
>> Okay. Did you walk past the register after you checked out with those items that weren't paid for?
>> Yes. It's like I went to the selfch checkout and I bought some stuff.
>> So, the woman had admitted her actions but tried to avoid responsibility by claiming she had only done it unintentionally. All of it had no effect because the police had already decided their course of action.
>> I'm being arrested.
>> Yeah. So, shop shop things. They uh >> Oh my god.
>> Still cry.
>> I'm going to call my husband or something. Listen, you got Let me Let me get your handcuffs, >> man. Listen. Listen to me. Okay. What we're going to do is once we get all this figured out here, you got it. We're good. Okay.
>> Oh my god.
>> It's okay. Listen.
>> Have you ever done this before?
>> No.
>> Okay. So, listen.
>> I'm just going to give you a piece of paper >> and you're going to leave tonight from from from our police department. You're not going to the jail.
You have no warrants or anything like >> and you just got to make sure you attend that court date. Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> All right. What's um what do you know your husband's phone number?
>> Not off the top of my head. My cell phone is right there. Oh my god.
>> So, do you mind if we uh do you mind do you mind if we go in there?
get to me. He can't get to me. He doesn't have a car to get to me.
>> Does he have a >> I don't know. I don't know.
>> Relax. Hey, take here.
>> In addition, the police's main concern at that moment was that the woman still had family members in the vehicle. They tried to arrange someone to pick them up, but her panic made the situation harder to manage.
>> Um, keep scroll down. Scroll. Keep scrolling down. Keep scrolling down.
Usually he's there if he's closer.
>> Okay.
>> Keep scrolling down.
>> It should say Russell.
>> Can I find him in contact?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> It'll say >> Okay. So, let's do Is that right here?
Ice Hus.
>> No, that's not him cuz he's he's his phone broke. So, he's using an iPad right now.
>> Okay.
>> Is this it right here? Russell new.
>> Set the 609459. should say text now because he's using an iPad.
>> It's um >> Oh, right. right right here.
>> The text now number.
>> Can Can you keep going? I just want to make sure it's right. Keep going.
>> That's as far as it goes.
>> Oh my gosh. Where is it?
>> Is it this red one right here? It says Russ.
>> The third one from the bottom. Text now.
There he is. There's no way to even get to me though.
>> Listen, listen. We'll figure it out. Okay. We're going to figure it out.
>> Listen. We're going to figure it out.
Okay.
>> All right.
>> Oh, I'm so embarrassed. Please.
>> It happens. Listen, it happens.
>> I'm right over the Mexican border.
>> Gotcha. All right. So, I'm going to put this right back in your purse.
>> Okay.
>> Put this license in there as well so I don't lose.
>> Do you have anything in your pockets?
>> No.
>> Okay. No the weapons or anything like that?
>> No.
>> Okay.
>> Just putting your license.
>> Are you guys able to get the surveillance?
>> Yeah. So, they're they're filling up.
>> It can be said that by this point the woman's remorse came too late as she could no longer change anything. The police had to calm her down to prevent her panic from leading to further problems. I'm >> so embarrassed. There's no excuse for it. I'm I've never been in trouble for anything.
>> So, listen. That's that's going to work in your favor. Everybody Everybody makes makes mistakes. Everybody's entitled to second chances and that's what we're trying to do. Okay? So, all we're trying to we got to we got to do what we we got to do.
>> But the most important thing is what we do after this, right?
>> So, we learn we learn our we learn our lesson.
and we move forward. Life goes on. And like I said, at the end of the day, it's going to be a piece of paper that that you're going to get with a court date.
Just make sure you go to that court date. Be honest. And they're the the courts are very flexible. They're very um but like I said, the demeanor is everything. Okay? So, we document everything that we have here. So, just stay cooperative with us. We can work with you. I'm trying to see if uh we're going to be able to cut you loose from here.
>> Okay.
>> So, you just got to give me a couple minutes.
>> Thank you.
>> All right.
>> Uh you got you got her license, Joe. I can check her.
>> Yeah. Everything's Everything's in here.
>> Real quick, if you want to stay here, I'm going to go put these in a car.
>> Let me get her in there. Right here.
>> Just like a traffic ticket, but >> All right. I'm going to go check her real quick and then um >> You want to put these in her car or what? You want >> put these in my car?
After that, the police noted that the woman had no prior warrants or arrests, indicating this was likely her first offense. Given that the value of the goods was below felony level, they then made a different decision regarding how to handle the case.
>> Sit out my car here just till you get out and get to your kids just so we make sure they're okay.
>> Stand out for me.
>> I'm so sorry.
>> Listen, the half happens. Like I said, now it's now it's all about learning from your mistakes, right?
>> Yes. I'm so sorry.
Every once in a while they uh catch >> this one. You said, "Have you ever been here?" I just wanted to know.
>> There we go.
>> So 29 Tucker Road down her ident.
>> Yes. Okay.
>> Great. 5.3.
>> You're good. So, so, so what's gonna have happen is I'm gonna fill out the paper paperwork for you at the at the police department. You're going to get in the mail. Okay?
>> There's gonna be a court date associated with that. Make sure you attend that.
>> Okay?
>> If you have a lawyer or >> that's totally up to you. Um, I can't make you any kind of suggestions for any legal purposes or anything like that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
>> So, here's your old driver's license.
>> Okay. Thank you.
>> Um, so basically what I can do is um I can basically recommend to you there's a phone number that's going to be at the bottom. It's going to be the court's phone number.
>> Okay.
>> If you need if if you need any kind of alterations for court dates, if you need any time, if you did want to get representation or anything, >> call that number.
>> Call that number. Let them know you just need a little little bit of time. Let them know you got kids. You got >> They'll be willing to work with you.
Most things are um virtual anyway.
>> Okay.
>> Um so, you can always request that it be a virtual hearing. Um >> but um other than that, pretty you're pretty much going to going to be good.
Just make sure you keep an eye on that in the mail.
>> In the end, the woman was charged with shoplifting and then released shortly after with a court date scheduled for her appearance. The key lesson is that cooperation and honesty during the investigation may not prevent arrest, but they can influence how the case is processed and how quickly it moves to court. Next, the shoplifter turned out to be the store employee herself.
>> So, if you bought something was like supposed to be $50 and but you really paid 300, you wouldn't pay any attention to that.
I'm an honest person and I want to rectify the situation. I don't ste.
>> On the 13th of July, 2024, officers responded to a theft call at a Walmart store where the suspect was believed to be an employee who used her knowledge of the job to steal merchandise. When officers arrived, the loss prevention team even revealed that this was not the first time she had committed the crime.
>> She hit a felony 3 weeks ago.
So, >> so she'll just grab things and then just change the the tag or just not pay for things in general. She she has has ticket switched a number of things like the um >> the clock and the the clock she didn't even >> or the fan but whatever whatever the [ __ ] is like a it's just a decorative trick but she she swapped that one out for uh some kind of a whistle >> just doesn't know >> that one she did scan And it's it's whenever she has like two of anything or more than two of anything, it's usually pretty pretty fair to assume that she's not going to scan it into here. She's she's pulled the trigger on it, but that's not where the UPC is, right?
So she'll she she'll bagged one and scan the other one or she'll scan one and just bag four of them. Um there was big.
>> So that could have been a $150 cart, but she may only paid 75 bucks for it. She ended up with this one, she ended up paying 170 something and that big pack of chicken too. She she uh didn't buy I want to say it was 187 and some change I think.
>> Everything already pointed directly to the woman's guilt, but when officers confronted her, she completely denied all of the accusations. So obviously we got killed here because there's obviously some things going on with >> Yeah, that's what he was saying. I I mean, you know, I am being straightforward with him >> before we go any further. Okay. You're not free to leave. Okay. Just so you know. Okay.
>> So just you're not free to leave. I'm just going to read this to you just in case. Okay. Would you like to talk to me?
>> Yes.
>> Okay. Mecca at 5:47 your mark time for Miranda >> because I mean I I honestly I did not pay attention.
I mean I would never steal anything and that's why I offered to pay. I don't care what the amount is. I have a job that I can pay for things. A lot of times I don't pay attention.
So, like in the videos when you have like the the box fan that you bought.
>> Yeah. I mean, really, literally, I I didn't pay attention to the receipt. I don't ever keep receipts. I don't even look at the receipts when I get home. I don't look at them when I'm walking out the door.
>> I mean, but I mean, I believe what he's saying.
>> She claimed it was all a mistake and said she never even checked her receipts. But could her story really be trusted when she even tried using her own past history as an excuse?
>> There's I mean, you know, maybe when I was younger, I I had um you know, like a a thing, but I think that was it had to do with some wood uh where, you know, like a uh I lived in an apartment complex >> and um the gentleman told me that I could have the leftover scrap wood. I took it and Arley Ards Lee management sued me for $500 and I paid for it. Um I I don't have any theft other than that.
>> Mhm.
>> I mean I mean I have the money to pay for things. That's why I use my card and that's why I mean you know maybe I need to start paying closer attention to how things are wrong. But I've never switched price tags. Nothing. I would never do that. But like wouldn't you know like if you bought a like a ceiling fan and it >> No, because when it rang rang up like a lot less than like >> No, because I don't even check the I don't even check I mean I'll print the receipt just in case I need to bring it back, but I don't even check the receipt on how much I spend. It comes across on my phone. So if you bought something was like supposed to be $50 and but you really paid 300. You wouldn't pay any attention to that >> it really would have been 300.
>> Like if you paid $50 for something but you're like well that's you wouldn't think that's weird. Like that thing's $300. Like you wouldn't >> know. I would have stopped if I would have noticed something.
>> She kept insisting that she scanned and paid for everything to make herself appear honest. Yet, she could not explain why so many of the items she selected had fake price tags swapped onto them, only making the situation look even more suspicious.
>> I'm an honest person and I want to rectify the situation. I don't steal. I would never steal. And I mean, if things are not ringing up, I'm not precipitating that.
>> I mean, you know, I'm sure there are people that do do that, but not me.
>> Okay.
And honestly, I mean, you know, when I have the money to pay for things, even if I don't have the money to pay for things, I'm not going to go shopping.
>> You see where I'm coming from?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. So, all this stuff you know, re know, you don't know anything about it?
>> No, sir. I I don't know what else to say.
>> Okay.
besides the fact that I would like to be able to pay.
>> Well, I don't that's up to them and I don't think that they're willing for you to pay for the things that that you've taken. So, >> but I don't understand why wouldn't you?
>> I have nothing to do with that. That's up to these people here.
>> In the end, she was charged with felony retail theft. If someone keeps making excuses while all the evidence points the other way, their lies usually become more suspicious than the crime itself.
Next, this woman even tried to run away just to avoid paying the bill. Listen to what I'm telling you. Unfortunately, it's a criminal investigation.
>> I don't have my person got in your car.
So, yes.
>> Good.
See, >> I am.
>> On the 3rd of October, 2025, police received a call from a nail salon reporting that a female customer had fled after receiving services without paying. Here's what allegedly happened.
According to the employees statements, >> um the lady like um she black like >> she came to got her nail and her token like everything done and he she said she waiting for her dad to train for the money for her and like I saw she look at the door you know and I told with the owner I think she going to run and she skip like say so she stay there and then like um she says She need to go to the car and then get the money. So the owner follow >> waiting in the car.
>> Yeah. The owner said um somebody over there already like her friend or something.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Do you know Do you know what car it is?
>> Yeah. Um so the owner is uh standing by the car.
>> The owner standing by the car.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. Your car.
>> Yeah. in your car. I bought >> Well, I was in the tattoo shop. I paid for mine. So, whatever she got in your car.
>> Who are you?
>> I am the manager of that store.
>> Yeah, I do because I'm a witness.
Thank you so much.
>> Hold on. Y'all got paid for my hold. We We're not We're not accused of that.
Y'all got IDs right now?
>> Yeah, but I'm not doing I'm not going through all that cuz I paid for my stuff. That's that.
>> So, you go to jail.
>> Unfortunately, this is a criminal investigation. They're saying I paid for my stuff. Listen to what I'm telling you. Unfortunately, as a girl >> t these individuals were believed to be friends of the suspect and they also began giving their own side of the story.
>> Nails and toes done. Well, I didn't know she was getting her done. I was the first to sit down. Then she sat down. We got our feet done together.
>> It wasn't until after >> They look good, don't they?
>> It wasn't.
>> It wasn't until after that we got done that she started getting hers done.
>> We met together. We left and came to the >> That's what I'm saying now.
>> The payments. I don't know. I paid him.
I even tipped him. She paid for hers.
Whatever. When I walked out, I know you heard me ask her. I said, "So, you're going to pay for your own?" She was like, "Yeah." She was waiting on whoever. So, I was like, "Okay, cool."
So, that's how we came down here. She wanted to get a belly bump piercing. We was at tattoo shop.
>> But then somebody was like, "Well, my friend, she they was like, "He's taking a picture of your car." I'm like, "For what?" Cuz I paid. So I didn't know what was going on until we came out here and then he said that she didn't pay.
>> What she did don't got nothing to do with it.
>> So we we all just friends. I don't even know her government. So >> she's not even >> Meanwhile, witnesses at the scene provided statements that helped clarify the case, especially regarding the suspect's actions after fleeing the salon.
>> So what happened? I saw this woman and I knew she had stole something cuz she was running like a bat out of hell.
>> Run, run, run. She got right in that car and she was wearing a shirt when she got in that car. So, there's probably a shirt in that back seat.
>> Okay. When she got out, she took the shirt off.
>> I guess that's Now, I didn't see her get out, but from what I told Where's my lady?
>> Ma'am, will you come up here for a minute, my lady? Yes, you. Yes.
>> She saw her out get without no shirt. So what what did you see exactly >> when I was coming in the young lady cuz I had to stop.
>> Yeah.
>> She ran. She had something up here. She moved that the top part. She had no clothes on up here.
>> Oh, okay. So she has no top.
>> So there's probably a shirt in that car.
She didn't want to be recognized as she's running down the road. So I guarantee you there's a shirt. Yeah. A black lady.
>> And she It looked like she had like braids and they were gold and brown.
>> Gold braids wrapped up top.
>> Wrapped up top. And like I said, she had a shirt on when she got in the car, so the shirt's probably in the car.
>> So after fleeing the nail salon, the suspect was believed to have deliberately changed clothes in an attempt to erase her previous appearance and avoid being identified. Meanwhile, her friends showed no intention of helping, forcing officers to repeatedly warn them about the situation.
But then no one's going to go to >> Just kidding. I'm just kidding. I can't promise that. But seriously, this ain't helping her. We'll get warrants. It's not hard to figure out who she is.
>> I'm dead serious.
>> She said, "Are you sure you've given up the spot about the replacement?" Love her real quick. Tell her.
>> Just tell Call.
>> No, that's not. This is for her hair.
I'm supposed to be getting my hair done.
We are >> Mimi about to get it. I don't know.
>> I don't have none of Mimi's information.
I know her and I know Mimi through her.
This is my first time.
>> I said I told her they said to come and talk and she said, "Y'all come to me."
>> She can't breathe.
>> She She just >> Oh, you recording my car?
>> That's littering. I'm going pick that up.
>> That's kind of where we at. So, I'll be trying to get her identified and >> Okay.
>> There's some fact that your witness telling you that they were already here and she ran into >> um and then outside of the nail salon all there's I saw a camera up by the door. Um, so it should have something of her bling out.
>> So you're telling me said that she cannot breathe right now.
>> That's what she said.
>> Just tell her where I she playing a damn game. This is this is going to escalate really far.
>> Yeah.
>> Tell her.
>> So apparently is somewhere, but she wants us to come to her cuz she can't breathe.
>> Tell her I'm sending her to >> allegedly. That's what >> under pressure from the police, the suspect was forced to return to the scene. Officers quickly took action immediately before a second escape attempt could happen.
>> Look, this what's going to happen, right? You got an ID on it?
>> Let me see it.
>> You got any weapons or anything like that in the purse? You pull out a little I'm going to be a little >> Let me see it.
>> It is so hot.
>> Well, y'all got She got y'all in this mess. You would already been gone. Let me see it.
>> He got your [ __ ] He should have took this [ __ ] off when I come to take it off.
Hold on.
How you wait for how you say?
>> I don't know.
>> Hell yeah.
>> Hold on. What?
>> I already did.
>> Really?
>> You really don't want to call somebody and pay for it?
>> There's other ways.
>> I already called my dad earlier.
>> So, she's not going to get >> Are you going to call somebody or you're just going to jail?
>> You need to take that off.
Good.
See >> a place for ID card.
Can you run a >> ch?
>> The suspect was charged with theft of service after allegedly fleeing the nail salon. People often believe running away will make a problem disappear, but in reality, it usually turns a small situation into a criminal case that follows them much longer. Next, this was a lesson on how refusing to cooperate only made everything worse.
>> GET ON THE GROUND.
>> NO, I DON'T STEAL ANY PHONE.
>> You didn't.
>> Get on the ground. I got to steal any phone.
>> I don't.
On the 21st of January 2026, officers approached a victim who reported that a woman had picked up his dropped phone but showed no intention of returning it.
And this was what unfolded afterwards right now.
>> She go get some food before school and my phone fell in my pocket and I went to go get it cuz I saw it and she had it and then she kept walking. I kept asking her where my phone was cuz she wasn't trying to give it to me.
>> Okay, that's okay.
Delta five not in contact with other half.
>> She's down there.
I just wanted my phone.
>> So, where was your phone?
>> It was on on the ground cuz it fell out my pocket and and then I asked for my phone back and she kept ignoring me.
>> Did you watch her pick up the phone?
>> She literally saw the phone and she got it.
>> Okay. So, you watch her grab the phone?
Yes.
>> Okay.
>> Okay.
>> And she has her phone still?
>> I don't know. She picked up the phone. I don't know what she did with it after.
And then she basically >> What kind of phone was it? It was a iPhone 12 black and it had like a and it had a case like a a very strong case when it has a stand on the back where I can lift on my phone.
>> Okay.
>> How old are you?
>> I'm 13.
>> 13. Okay.
>> I just all the way through. I just want to go to school.
>> I got you. Okay.
>> Okay.
You just come back. You don't want to press charges.
You can't go on my streets cuz I just got that feel like >> the woman riding the scooter was believed to be a witness to the incident. And moments later, she further backed up the story of what had happened.
>> No, I just seen him coming down the street. I'm a police guard. So, I just seen him coming down the street and I always see him and then he was like, "She got my phone. She got my phone."
So, I tried to stop her like and she was acting crazy. So me being me, me being me, I told her to shut and grab a book bag and get your phone out of there.
That was me being me and she wouldn't even made it this far. Got you.
>> Are you Mom?
>> Hey, how you doing?
>> Good man.
>> How are you?
>> Doing just fine. We're trying to sort out everything.
What he's telling us is that he was on a scooter. His fel his phone had fell out of his pocket.
>> Uhhuh.
>> And then lady grabbed his phone and he tried confronting her to get her phone back.
not by talk like touching or anything like that but you know basically telling hey I need my phone get my phone back you have my phone >> and she ended up running and going so >> hold on I have this location and so >> that's back towards the school >> okay >> that's where it's pinging at right now >> using the phone's location signal officers quickly tracked down the suspect and her evasive behavior only reinforced what had happened causing the situation to turn completely tense afterward.
>> GET ON THE GROUND NOW.
>> YOU'RE GOING TO GET TED. Get on the ground. Get on the >> I'm here now.
>> STOP.
>> GET ON THE GROUND NOW.
>> I'M GOING DOWN.
>> I don't steal any phone.
>> I don't steal any phone. Check.
>> Get on THE GROUND NOW. NO, BECAUSE I >> GET ON THE GROUND.
>> NO, I THOUGHT I STEAL ANY PHONE.
>> Get inside the orange cleaner.
>> Get on the ground. I thought I steal any phone.
>> Get on the ground.
>> GET ON THE GROUND NOW.
>> DON'T STEAL ANY PHONE.
>> GET ON THE GROUND.
>> I GOT A STEALER PHONE.
>> GET ON THE GROUND.
>> I GOT A STEALER.
>> Get on the ground.
>> I got a steal.
>> Get on the ground.
>> I got a steal.
>> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. I STILL >> HOLD ON. Get her arm.
>> Stop resisting.
>> Hold on. Stop resisting. Stop resisting.
>> I got my feet.
>> Hold on. Work her hands.
>> I got this one.
>> Put your hands behind your back.
>> Okay.
>> I got this.
>> Wow.
Okay.
You okay?
>> Of course I'm okay. Someone accuse me. I steal a phone and I don't steal any phone.
>> All right, let's go. When the police tell you to stop, man. Stop, bro. Hey, regular.
>> I don't steal any phone.
The woman was able to argue that she had not stolen the phone because it was believed she had already handed it off to another boy, prompting officers to further investigate the situation by questioning him afterward.
>> So, talk to me, man. How did we get to this point? Where'd you get the phone?
>> He brought the phone some way up and gave it to our friend. Our friend had gave it to us.
>> Okay. What's your What's your friend's name that got the phone?
>> Zack.
>> Zack. He ended up getting the phone from an older lady >> and then he gave that phone to y'all.
Yeah.
>> What? What did he say to you though?
>> He didn't say it. He gave it to him. He gave it to me.
>> He still like Brandon was going to eat my he >> like, "Let me see." And then like, "Yeah, this is cuz I just text him my order." What I got?
>> I got you.
>> So, I guess it fell out of his pocket while he was on the scooter.
>> And so, lady found it, gave it to their friend. Exactly. Exactly. Then give the phone to him after he confirmed. Yeah.
>> So, how did he know to give us the phone to you? He just How do you know to give the phone to >> I just said, "Let me see it cuz I was going to take it to him." I was just going to walk up there.
>> But how do you know it was his phone?
>> Cuz I had looked at the message and I just text him.
>> Can you tell me?
>> So, what does my thing is What did Zachary say to you about the phone? He just said, "Hold gave him a phone."
>> Okay. All right. One lady gave him the phone and from that point on he saw the phone and recognized the phone. He is his buddies because of messential and so I just >> in this case the woman likely would not have been charged with theft. But everything she had done beforehand could still have taught her a harsh lesson and officers made sure to explain that to her.
>> When the police tell you stop, you should stop. Then you could have gave your side of the story of I didn't steal his phone. I gave his phone to somebody. And then now we have your side of the story. But instead, you decided to run from the officer. So I don't know if you knew that we're like the local police and we weren't trying to do anything like we were just trying to investigate a crime. But in the future, you would not be going to jail had you just stopped and talked to us and gave us your side of the story.
Okay? But because you ran from her and you resisted her um to investigate this crime, you're now going to jail for resisting. All right. So that's going to be what you're Mike. Was that the was that the only charge is the resisting is so now you're just going to jail for the resisting charge. All right. cuz we figured out that the theft of the phone was not actually a theft. So had you just stayed and not ran from us and resisted her and trying to detain you to talk to you, you wouldn't be going to jail right now.
>> In the end, the woman was charged with resisting arrest. The woman turned a misunderstanding into an arrest the moment she chose to avoid and resist officers instead of cooperating, proving that panic and defiance can create consequences far worse than the original situation. Next, these immigrants from China made the situation even more shocking.
>> Stuff that came out of toilet.
>> Look at this.
>> On December 17th, police launched an investigation into a large-scale fraud scheme involving tampered gift cards inside a public supermarket. The investigation quickly led authorities to two Chinese nationals, Caillou and Lingam Chen. After rapidly locating the area where they were staying, this was what happened when deputies approached them.
>> Hello. How's it going?
Do me a favor. Have a seat.
>> What?
>> Have a seat for me.
>> Me?
>> Either one.
>> You guys got your IDs on you?
>> Yeah.
>> You get that, please.
>> You got your ID, please.
>> She's getting it. Yeah. Yeah.
>> Okay. Have a seat for me. Okay.
>> Thank you guys.
both out of New York. All right. Do you know why we're here?
>> What?
>> Do you know why I'm here talking to you guys right now?
>> Okay, I'll explain it to you in a minute. All right.
>> 652 ID card numbers. Both IDs are out of New York.
Trans.
Um, I'm thinking I'm going to take him by car so I could separate them and they stopped talking each other.
>> You have a warrant.
>> He had a warrant.
>> He did.
>> Other than looking confused while being handcuffed, they never denied anything, seemingly understanding what was happening. Deputies then explained the situation to the woman.
>> Should the aisle also go?
>> Mhm. He had a warrant. What is his warrant?
>> He had a warrant out of a different county. Berner's arrest out of Sarasota.
>> How >> a warrant.
>> Can you translate >> Chinese?
>> I I don't know how to do.
>> So, what should I do? Should I go with him?
>> No. Hold on.
for what?
>> I I I think >> what is uh which area >> theft?
>> Uh which area? Like uh New York, California. I don't know.
>> I'm unsure.
I didn't I will let you know more information.
>> Here you go.
>> Can I get to my phone because you >> By now you're detained. Hold on.
>> The woman was soon handcuffed and taken away as well. Shortly after, deputies discussed the case again, fully breaking down how their fraud scheme operated.
state says right now it's Publix cuz they're the ones that own the or it's their property which >> technically >> I can't in my brain make it make sense because it's they don't >> I know >> whatever the gift cards >> wouldn't it be the >> whoever the gift card >> the business of the gift card >> right which is I don't know gift cards they are >> right now we got Macy's we got Home Depot >> Dicks all kind of stuff being sold and that's just what my guys are finding today that's not what else >> what is what are they doing? Did you see video?
>> Yeah, I went to the store. So, they they come in with stacks of cards >> that they've already cut from another store and they take the numbers and they re package that. They reseal it with like hot glue that the little brown package gift card comes in. So, like the girl walks in and goes to like Amazon or Target, takes the stack of them, basically walks away, and then the guy comes in with the other ones that they've already cut and he puts them back in place. So they now take the uncut cards and they go cut them somewhere else and it looks like they go to another store and replace them. So when I buy a gift card, I ring it up and I put 100 bucks on it to Publix and then I go and give it to him and he opens it later, the cards cut, the numbers are cut out of them and as soon as I activate a Publix manager told me as soon as I pay for it at Publix 100 bucks, somehow they get notice of that serial number or that number and they're able to use it online or whatever.
According to investigators, this method had been carried out on a large scale by multiple Chinese scammers using similar tactics. The couple alone had reportedly been in Florida since April, traveling through cities including Orlando, Fort Meyers, Naples, and Fort Lauderdale as part of the scheme. Shortly after, deputies quickly uncovered even more shocking evidence inside their room.
>> Look at this.
cards, all kinds of stuff. Yeah. And there's more. The toilet is clogged. We need to take the toilet off. God knows what else is in there. Yeah, that's trash.
>> Okay.
>> And then this.
>> Wait till you see this.
>> Look at this.
>> Yeah.
>> Crazy. We found hundreds of >> Oh my god. Look at this.
>> Okay. Can you do me a favor and write a a statement for me?
>> Sure.
>> I'm going to go put this back in my car.
>> Um, I am not allowed to go back in the apartment. Okay.
>> They were ultimately charged in a federal fraud conspiracy tied to unauthorized access devices and large-scale gift card tampering, a crime that could lead to years in prison and deportation proceedings. This case became a lesson that organized fraud schemes may seem profitable at first, but traveling across states and repeatedly committing the same crime only leaves behind a larger trail of evidence for investigators to follow.
Before moving on to the next shoplifterss, we went to this airport chaos.
>> Okay, just remain calm.
>> Stand up. Stand up.
>> I don't play those games. On the 4th of May 2025, police were dispatched to an airport after receiving reports of a disturbance. The suspect was believed to be a woman who became enraged upon hearing that her flight had been delayed. Listen to this staff member to understand the situation more clearly.
>> Ended up coming back closer to time.
>> 147.
>> Give me one second. I promise I'll hear one. I promise one. Okay, that's enough.
Okay.
>> Um, then she started taking pictures of us. Um, we're not going to >> repug videos >> videos. Um, and then she said, "You're gay as fuck." I am gay, so cool. Great story. Um, discriminatory and that's not what we're going to have tonight. Okay.
Understood. Good job. Reun talk to a sec, please. So, tell me your side.
You're trying to go back right now.
Okay.
>> As soon as possible.
>> Okay. And the flight got delayed initially.
Was that >> 2 hours and 4 hours and then we came here and the time was blah blah blah and then we got invite.
>> Why did you get in a bite though?
>> The woman's demeanor at this point appeared calmer than the accusation suggested. But based on the staff's statement, the police also had to explain what she could be facing.
>> They said that you're not flying because you're intoxicated or was it because you got upset?
You know, >> neither would.
>> Neither. Why did they say you couldn't fly?
>> Uh, ask them.
>> Okay. Talk to them. I'm asking you what they said. Why they said you couldn't fly?
>> You don't remember?
>> No, I'm trying to uh I came here in a rush.
>> In a rush.
>> Okay.
>> I was like, "Hey, I'm trying to get to New York." And they started treating me badly. Okay. Does it >> Well, at this point they said that you're not going to fly with Spirit.
They have the authority to do that cuz it doesn't >> you're going to become a homeless woman.
You can book a flight with a different airline back in the main ter $300.
>> I know. And you >> got delayed.
>> What am I doing?
>> Yep. They said that you're not going to fly with them now because of the interaction that you have with them. So, you can book some [ __ ] right?
>> A different flight.
>> No. My opinion doesn't really help either way. So, you're not flying with Spirit. You can book a different airline with another book >> with another flight to New York.
>> Pay $400 to fly with them.
>> Okay.
>> They got delayed twice.
>> Yes.
>> Trace and then it came in the right time.
>> Okay.
>> But >> I hear I hear what you're saying >> and I'm telling you now that they're not going to let you fly. So, you can get back on the shuttle and go back to the main terminal and you can book with a different airline on the non-secure side.
>> It turned out the woman was not calm at all. Instead, she appeared disoriented and not fully coherent, as if she might have been intoxicated. Her subsequent behavior only further reinforced that impression.
>> And you're going to pay more money to get out of jail in the morning if you go that route.
>> Okay.
>> Right now, we don't have a reason to do that.
>> No, >> we we don't want to take that route. We want to try to make as easy as possible.
>> We don't want you to go to arrest.
>> Okay.
>> So, if you can get on the shuttle and go book with a different airline, you do not have to go to jail.
>> All we're trying to do is just be civil with you, right? I didn't even get your name. What's What's your name?
>> Nothing. Can I walk?
>> Yes. Yes, you can. Go ahead.
>> That's not the way out.
>> Where's the way out?
>> My bad. Goodbye.
>> You're good.
The situation could have ended peacefully if the woman had simply left, but she did not. As a result, chaos quickly escalated afterward.
Are you going to help me? I don't know.
What is the rule? What the relax?
>> No, I can't.
They told me they told me this is my life. Come here. Stand up. Stand up.
I don't play those games.
They go throw stuff at my officers. Do you understand?
>> That's fine.
>> Mark is right there.
>> They're not yelling.
>> All right, let's walk. Let's walk.
Huh? Yeah. She started screaming through her phone at him. So, I'm not putting up with that.
Yeah.
>> The woman's resistance reflected the earlier outburst she had shown toward airport staff. And even inside the transport vehicle, police had to continuously reassure her.
Do you something something?
>> Hey, just relax.
Just relax.
Yeah. Just relax. Breathe.
Okay. Breathe through. In through your nose, out through your mouth.
Relax.
In through your nose, out through your mouth. Okay. Just remain calm.
hotel.
In >> through your nose, out through your mouth slowly.
>> What?
>> I can't control myself. I can't control myself.
>> You can control yourself. You're okay.
>> Mhm.
>> Just breathe. Okay.
Just focus on breathing.
I got an email that my flight got delayed on 2 hours and 4 hours and then it came that my flight supposed to came through and then they said it's not the right time and then I said what the because my email said and they said what the is your email said I'm sure they have >> she was ultimately charged with public intoxication disorder ly conduct and resisting arrest. >> Don't ruin my name.
>> Don't ruin your name.
>> Yeah.
On January 1st, 2025, police responded to an active theft involving a woman in medical scrubs. As they approached, they soon realized she was no ordinary suspect.
Hello officer.
>> Hello.
>> Sorry.
>> Hi.
>> Have a seat.
>> Um I didn't mean to do this. I can pay this.
>> Okay. So, um she has her purse around $300 worth of unpaid merch. You just take everything out. Okay.
>> Yeah, I'll pay for it.
>> Yeah, take it out.
>> All right.
No, I was going to give it to my somebody. Okay, I'll pay for it. I promise.
>> Right now it's too late, right? To pay for it. You already tried stealing it.
>> No, but I can always pay, right, sir?
>> No, you cannot.
>> Huh?
>> But I'll pay for it.
>> The woman was caught red-handed trying to slip out of the store with unpaid merchandise. When asked to step into the security office, she remained calm and insisted she would pay. Do you have any ID on you?
>> No, I don't have >> You don't have any identification?
>> It's in my car.
>> It's in your car?
>> Okay.
>> What kind of car do you have?
>> A paper.
>> What kind of car do you have?
>> Just don't ruin my name.
>> Huh?
>> Just don't ruin my name.
>> Don't ruin your name.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> I promise. I >> You ruined your own name. So, I'm going to need your name.
Have a seat. Do you have anything on your person that may uh hurt anyone?
Like needles, >> knives?
>> No, I don't have anything.
>> Don't Don't listen. Put everything down.
I didn't ask you to do that. Take off that jacket for me. Put it over here.
Don't go in your pockets. Listen to my instructions. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Stand up. Take that jacket off.
>> The woman refused to provide personal information and challenged the officers, making the atmosphere tense.
Turn. Put your hands up. Turn around.
>> Okay. Have a seat.
>> Have a seat.
>> All right.
>> Is this your jacket?
>> I'm sorry. Yes.
>> It's mine, too.
>> Is this yours?
>> Yeah.
>> No, that's mine.
>> It's brand new.
>> Yeah.
>> Stop lying, man. Why you lying?
>> No, bro. I put it over there in the back. I'll pay for it.
>> Those are Ray-B bands. I think it's pretty good. Yeah.
Can I take a picture of you with just my records?
>> But they're always just like you can pay for it.
>> No, not at Target. Only Only at Walmart.
Not at Target. Okay. Target is really serious about the all that stuff.
>> I know, but there's always things you can pay for it >> at Walmart. Not in here. No, you cannot pay for it no more. Okay.
>> Well, can I resolve it?
>> Um, >> it's new year, >> so >> please. I know.
>> Um, so okay.
>> No, I'm not. So I don't speak Spanish.
>> You speak Spanish? Where are you from?
>> Philippines.
>> Philippines. Okay. When >> I'm sorry, listen. I can I can pay for this. I'm professional.
>> So I'm professional, too. And I got to do my job.
>> Somaya. Somaya is your middle name.
>> Yeah. Oppo.
>> Huh?
>> Oppo.
>> Yes, sir.
>> It was unbelievable that a nurse could act so irresponsibly.
The suspect kept insisting she would pay as if that excused the crime, then started arguing.
>> Yeah, I know this stuff. I know that when you do that, you can always pay.
So, don't go through too much. It's new year.
>> I don't care.
>> Sorry.
>> Please.
>> I don't care.
>> Listen, sir.
>> No, this you're saying $300. $300.
>> I'll pay for it.
>> What is your address?
>> Do me a favor. Don't argue with him.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. Everybody has a job to do, right?
>> Okay. This is his job is to catch people who steal. Right? If the company has an ordinance that they're not going to let anybody go past a certain amount, then that's his job to continue and follow that ordinance.
>> Okay?
>> It's not yours to dictate whether or not he could let you go or now you want to pay for all the that you took.
>> Okay?
>> Can I pay for it? Cuz I have to give it to somebody to not use.
>> It's a birthday.
I still have a patient to go. So, if I can pay for it, I know.
>> What? What? What do you do for a living?
>> I'm a nurse.
>> You're a nurse. A registered nurse or >> I'm a registered nurse?
>> Registered nurse.
>> Okay. What brings you over here?
>> No, I have a patient nearby here in um North Latro. So, I go past North Latroe.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> I didn't mean to like what I said. I'll pay for it. It's New York. I know Walmart does that, but I don't. How many times have you been arrested for uh retail theft?
>> Never. What about theft in general?
>> Just first time cuz I'm rushing.
>> Okay, let's try this again. How does the name on your license appear? Because you're not coming back with no record.
>> Okay, >> we can go to my what?
>> I want to pay this cuz I want to >> Hold on a minute. He what?
Marifi Mari Sumaya.
>> Okay. Is the name Sumaya >> middle name?
>> Is that spelled out in your license?
>> U M A Y A.
>> She revealed she was a registered nurse, insisting it was her first time and only because she was in a rush. The officer then requested a copy of the store's surveillance video showing her theft.
>> Can you give me a copy of the video and stuff?
>> Yes, sir. You have you have a USB?
>> Uh, yeah, I do.
>> Yeah, I can put it in there. And also, uh, do you have any complaint forms?
>> Yes, I do.
>> Are they the new ones?
>> Yes, sir.
>> Okay.
>> Yes. It's the same. The same way you get the number the same.
>> Mhm.
When the police checked, the information she provided didn't match. All her excuses were meaningless against the clear evidence, and police decided to arrest her immediately.
>> All right, let's go.
>> I'm not running.
>> Huh?
>> What did you say?
>> Very sorry for me.
>> You're very sorry for you?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
You're married to a cop? No, you're not.
>> I am New Hampshire. Starting to look it up.
>> New Hampshire.
>> Yeah.
>> Where's that? In the the state of New Hampshire.
>> Oh, okay. So, he's not a cop anymore.
>> No, it used to be US Air Force.
>> Huh?
>> Used to be US Air Force.
>> He used to be reserved.
>> Yeah.
My son.
>> In the end, the woman was charged with felony retail theft, arrested, and later released with a scheduled court date.
This case reminds us that even in a noble profession like nursing, a single act of dishonesty can destroy one's reputation, career, and future. Next, let's follow the couple who thought they had successfully escaped.
>> I'm not moving, sir. On April 11th, 2025, police were dispatched to a Target parking lot after receiving a tip that a man and woman were attempting to flee following a theft. Upon arriving at the scene, everything instantly erupted into chaos.
>> Get down. Get down. Get down. Get down.
Get down.
>> Get out. Get out.
>> Get out.
>> Get out.
>> She's running. She's running. Go get her.
>> Running by.
Get on the ground. Get on the ground.
Get on the ground.
Hands behind your back.
>> Stop fighting.
>> Stop fighting.
>> Stop fighting.
>> Stop fighting.
>> Stop fighting.
>> Oh no.
>> Stop fighting before you get again. Turn around. Get on your back.
>> All right, stop fighting.
>> Raise your hands behind your back.
>> This was the outcome when the woman tried to flee from the police. Yet, it seemed that the events unfolding had made things increasingly difficult for her.
>> Get on your back.
>> Get on your back.
>> Get on your back.
I'm sorry. Did they get that again?
>> Yes.
>> They got him.
>> I need a unit in front of your competitor.
>> They got him. They got him.
>> Get on your back.
>> They got him.
>> Get on your back before I You again.
>> They got him.
>> Get on your stomach.
>> Please.
>> Get on your stomach before I You again, please.
>> Get on your stomach.
>> Help me. Get on your stomach.
>> Turn around.
>> Turn around.
>> Turn around.
>> You're making it worse.
>> I don't want to go to jail.
>> Okay, turn around and get on your stomach.
>> I don't want to go to jail.
>> Get on your stomach.
>> Am I going to jail?
>> You're about to If you don't get on your stomach, >> okay, but >> get on your stomach.
>> Am I going to go to jail?
>> Get on your stomach.
>> No, no, no.
>> Turn around on your stomach.
>> Lay down on your stomach. Are you okay?
>> Although the woman appeared remorseful, her actions continued to cause trouble, forcing her once again to lie face down on the ground.
>> Place your hand behind your back. You know that.
>> Stop playing.
>> I'm not playing with you. Get on your stomach. Get on your stomach.
11 female still fighting.
I don't want to go to you.
You got my taser. You're about to do that.
>> Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Stop fighting.
>> Get me. I get me. I get me. I get me. I get me.
>> Get more. Yes.
>> Meanwhile, the man involved in the incident was also apprehended and his attitude proved just as difficult as the woman's, making the situation far from easy.
>> Got one male detained.
>> One, sir, your hands.
Alpha 6. Alpha 7 51 deploy.
>> Oh [ __ ] >> Deploy.
>> Oh [ __ ] Turn around.
>> You got any weapons on you?
>> No sir. Am I going to find anything in that car?
What the were you running back in there for? No, >> I was trying to find something.
>> So, they start.
>> Immediately afterward, the police quickly began recovering the items suspected to have been stolen.
I got >> I'd be willing to bet this is all stolen.
>> Okay. Random armor.
>> No.
>> Um, >> do you guys need somebody to go to Target?
>> Yes.
>> Let's go.
>> What do you need?
>> Uh, we need to find just everything like what they stole. We need a statement and uh a receipt. 151.
Did you morandize him?
>> No, I won't.
>> Then you can slide in.
>> Come on.
Set up. Set up.
The woman was soon taken for medical assistance while being questioned and simultaneously both began their blame game against each other.
>> Who was I that you were with today? Was that your boyfriend?
>> Who is he?
Just a friend.
Hey, I need your eyes open.
Open your eyes. Come on.
>> Now, listen. I'm going to be honest with you. There was more fent found in the car.
Is that yours or is that his?
>> Huh?
>> His. Okay. Do you know where he got it from?
>> No.
Were you with him when he got it or did he have it on him before?
>> Had him on before. Okay. Where did he pick you up at?
Hey, >> stay with me now. Don't go back to sleep yet.
>> Hear me out.
>> Pills >> cuz she's pointing >> trust me. Anybody that knows my name tell you I don't sell drugs. You can call any cop.
>> Okay. So none of that stuff is yours.
>> Only thing I told you.
Both were charged with retail theft, resisting arrest, and drug possession.
The key lesson here is that trying to flee or shift blame only worsens the situation. Cooperating with authorities and taking responsibility from the start is far safer than playing games that lead to more charges. Next, the female soldier also caused chaos right at the airport entrance.
>> I'm trying to help you.
>> No, I'm not scaring you right now.
>> Did you just say you graduated from basic training?
>> Luke, >> did I get him and get him out? THAT'S ALL THE I care about, right?
>> On the 30th of July 2024, police received a report of a disturbance at an airport in Washington. The suspect was believed to be a woman who had caused a series of serious incidents after just landing, forcing a partial shutdown of the airport system. She even made the situation more tense when police approached.
>> How about you shut the up?
>> I haven't talked to you at all yet.
>> Yeah, you haven't. So, what's up?
>> We're trying to figure out what's going on.
>> Yeah. Where's my bags? You want to You want to look up my name? You don't even know my name, do you?
>> Oh, you're a police officer. So, you automatically do, huh? No, you don't.
Because my name was never >> Why are you yelling at me?
>> Am I? Am I?
>> You're raising your voice.
>> Okay, so look me up.
>> You're being able to record.
>> Look me up.
>> I need my bags. That's what the I just said, right?
>> You can turn out some solutions, girls.
>> I just said you when you don't have business, sir.
>> I don't have business here.
>> Where did I come from? Where'd I come from?
>> Tell me. Am I uh what? Sorry. People aren't me. So, what's the word? Um I'm uh >> being detained.
>> No, that's not what the I said, right?
>> That's what I said.
>> No. What's the word? It's a It's a uh I'mma hang with the up on you cuz you're not cooking me yet.
>> It's a I don't know what the [ __ ] the word is to it. So, what's up?
>> What's up? Cuz you left me. You're in your car, whatever. I don't give a [ __ ] >> I got off Alaska Airlines. I could not carry my bags on my own. They were over 50 lb. My fiance came in here to carry my bags. Uh, I could not find my bags.
That's what you want me to say, right?
Right.
>> You should have known that this was not the right tone when you tried to tell a story to exonerate yourself. This temper itself proved that you could have been the cause of the incident. Even afterward, you admitted that you were no longer in a normal state.
>> One, two, mother three. Take me to jail if you want to.
>> I don't even know what happened. That's why you're being told you were talking with me.
>> Right. I got drunk on my life.
>> I cannot carry my bags. So, my fiance came to pick me up. Are you listening or not? You can take me to jail. I don't give a [ __ ] >> Where did you leave? So these check bags or these baggage >> checks. So I'm at the check back area, right?
>> Baggage claim.
>> Yeah, baggage claim is check.
>> We can acknowledge that or not.
>> Causing a breach alarm to go off.
Meaning you went >> I don't care. I don't care.
>> I don't care.
>> And now I went to where? I went to where? Where? I was not supposed to be.
>> Where to actually talk to me? Write a report. Write a report.
>> Okay. Let's let's Yeah, cuz I own businesses. So, let's go ahead and do that. Let's do that and see how far it goes.
You don't even know how to talk to me, [ __ ] >> YOU'RE NOT YOU'RE NOT CUZ WHERE'S MY BAG? You're not helping me. If my bags ain't here, >> right? So, I don't >> Yeah, you're so You're so in charge.
>> Yeah, you're so in charge. If my dad was on the phone versus my husband, >> you would shut the up. You would shut the up.
>> Okay.
>> So, boom.
>> Okay. We just got to work through >> No, this is this is too funny because if it was my dad here, >> he would have carried my bags and it wouldn't be no problem. But I'm really drunk. I just came from the military. I in my bag in my bag there's a military ID.
>> She repeatedly claimed that she was a soldier as if that would prove she would not commit any crime. Even she carried out actions that immediately forced the police to intervene.
>> I was trying to grab her.
>> What's up? No, no, no, no. Stay, stay, stay, stay, stay.
>> I'm going to stand.
>> No, no. You're going to walk back up there. Why?
>> Because they're directing. Because you're being detained.
>> You don't get to walk free right now.
They're already telling you you're detained right now.
>> So, walk back up there. I'm going to put you in handcuffs.
>> Okay. So, put me in handcuffs cuz I want to walk by.
>> Can you stop?
>> Go ahead.
>> You really want to do that?
>> I want to stand by him.
>> You can walk back up there cuz you've been directed to by law enforcement.
>> I'm trying to help you.
>> Go ahead. I'm not scared.
>> Did you just say you graduated from basic training?
>> Did I ask you say that?
Okay, that sounds good.
>> Hey, can you can you can you guys >> I'm right here.
>> You want me to walk right here?
>> Hey, put your hands up.
>> Go ahead. That's what you guys been wanting me to do. Call my dad, >> which I did.
>> Spread your feet. Stop.
>> Are you done?
>> I've been dead.
>> Well, you're still tensing up. All right. So, you're going to jail for trespassing and obstruction.

We're going to confirm PC on the trespass.
>> Yeah. Go ahead.
>> You done or not?
>> I'll confirm now.
>> Are you done or not?
>> I just asked you a question.
>> Well, you're now under arrest. That's where we are.
>> Yeah. Okay. I didn't hear that.
>> I'm stronger than what you thought. So, tense up or what?
>> Tense up or strengthen it? What? We would prefer this. This goes relaxed. If you would prefer that we search you while you're flat on the ground, we can do that.
>> What your job is?
>> We prefer not to do that.
>> How about you just shut up and do what your job is?
>> My job is arresting people. We just did that.
>> Go ahead.
>> It can be said that she was indeed a soldier as she used her strength to obstruct the police. Even when she was handcuffed, she still showed no sign of stopping that behavior.
>> I'm supposed to sleep in a pole in the >> You're not a very good soldier.
>> Shut the up. How about that?
>> You talking about being a soldier? How about you shut the [ __ ] up?
>> Please start transporting.
>> Ask for transport. As soon as she gets in a car, the better.
>> Yeah. And you can also let go of my neck because what?
>> Hold still. Stop flipping around like a fish.
>> And then and then when I press charges, then what?
>> So right, right.
>> How about you tell me?
>> Well, you're being >> cuz you were so right and I was so wrong. Right. Cuz I was trespassing, right?
>> Right. STILL ESTABLISHING >> CUZ THAT HURTS MY MOTHERING WRIST.
RIGHT. STOP. Stop pushing against >> You thought you was just doing right.

>> Pick her up. Pick her up. Then you can lay flat. Stay down there.
>> Yeah, that's okay.
>> And then what?

>> Yeah, that's That is it, huh?
>> Yeah, [ __ ] I would have knocked you the out, you punk ass. Grabbing my bags, talking about some trespassing. I got off the flight looking for my bags, you punk ass.
>> So, your bags are over on carousel 15.
>> I don't give A WHERE MY BAGS ARE. GET THEM AND GET THEM OUT. THAT'S ALL THE I care about, right?
>> I'm asking you, would you LIKE >> I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE. MY FIANCEé CAN GET HIM CUZ THEY'RE TOO HEAVY, RIGHT? THAT'S WHY THE HE'S HERE, RIGHT?
>> It can be said that this woman had nothing but arrogance and an ego that was far from small. After repeatedly insisting she was a soldier, she continued to assert that she held a significant position. But it seemed that none of this helped her at all.
>> And I could I could look I own businesses. I own LLC's. [ __ ] I've been in Lamborghini. Then what? Then what? You don't even know what to say cuz you ain't never [ __ ] Shut up. The arrest me then. That's what the I said, right?

>> Is that her?
>> [ __ ] shut up.
>> That's the one that was down there causing the problem.
>> We just needed somebody to say, "Yep, that's the one that did." Okay, cool.
All right.
>> She was coming down the stair. Well, she came down the stairs with her boyfriend and I thought they were going to go back up the escalator.
>> I saw the do not enter.
>> Yeah. And then um she started just walking and I stood up and I told her to stop and that's when she told me she's like what are you going to do then going to stop me [ __ ] And then and then that's when I told her like stop and then she just kept going and then she's like I need to get my one of our co-workers went chasing after her and then I pressed her breach button and she was walking out. She was she was like you're like I didn't punch you.
>> Thought she was going to punch you.
>> I thought she did she like fall?
>> Yeah. She went like this to me like that.

You're not hurting me, [ __ ] I didn't die. Everything. I don't care.
>> I don't care.
I really don't care. The suspect was charged with criminal trespass, obstruction of law enforcement, and resisting arrest. Disregarding rules, refusing cooperation, and escalating conflict with authorities only led to more serious consequences and full legal accountability. Next, let's shift away from the shoplifterss and look at this woman who showed no shame in exposing herself.
>> God, you did that TO ME? OH MY GOD, YOU DID THAT TO ME. Oh my god, YOU ARE YOU >> ON THE 13th of November 2022, police were dispatched to a parking lot after receiving a report of a woman who was intoxicated and showing unusual behavior. Upon immediately arriving at the scene, from all of her actions, it was easy to see that the allegation was true.
>> Right there, >> that white car.
>> Yep.
>> Okay. You're not planning on trying to get back into that car to drive home, I assume, right?
>> No.
>> Okay. Then what are you out here wandering toward your car in the park, you know, in the parking lot?
>> Trying to record. Record away.
>> What's going on? I'm record my forms in the car. My forms in the car right here.
Um, I'm record that way. That way, that way six way.
>> Okay. Ma'am, do you have somebody that can call to pick you up or are you going to be able to Uber?
>> No, I don't. No.
>> Right there.
>> I don't think that'd be very recommended.
>> No, I'm going to sit there until it's recommended.
>> Okay. Do you live close to here?
>> Yes. Where's that at?
>> Yep.
>> That's not very close.
>> Yeah, it's close.
>> Yep.
>> You married? You have a boyfriend, husband?
>> It hasn't to me with for I I know all that from I'm an HR manager. I know all that [ __ ] >> Ma'am?
>> Yes.
>> Do you have somebody that you can call to pick you up?
>> No.
>> Nobody. You don't know anybody that can come pick you up?
>> No. You have any friends in HR that can come help you out?
>> Um, >> per my attorney. That's not going to be answered.
>> Your attorney for what?
>> My attorney. Excuse me. You know what that means?
>> Due to her intoxicated state, the officers prevented her from getting into the vehicle and leaving. Meanwhile, one officer approached while a nearby witness was also engaged to gather more information about the situation. She was out there trying to get into her car, which would have been bad. You work here?
>> She Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> She um >> I told her, "I'll give you a ride. I'll call an Uber. I'll call a taxi." She She just was yelling inside, screaming at people. Then she went behind the bar.
>> And I It's the first time I saw her. I I really don't want to no trespass her or get her locked up, but I don't know. I I asked her if she had a car and she said she never even answered.
>> She does. It's over there. She thought it was another car. She was trying to walk to it, >> but I grabbed her keys from her real fast.
>> Okay, that's cool.
>> But >> yeah, she definitely >> Yeah, she's trying to >> So, I'm trying to prevent that here.
>> Returning to the woman, she completely refused to cooperate with the officers.
She insisted that she was still capable of driving herself, which only made the situation more complicated.
>> Okay, Nancy. So, here's the deal. So clearly you can't drive. You were out here trying to find your car to try to drive away.
>> Five right there because she he said he can't themselves.
>> Anyways, Nancy, so you have one.
>> He's so stupid.
>> You have two options, Nancy. All right.
We can march him to you and take you to the jail and you can go sit in a drunk tank for a few hours so you sober up. Or if you want to get on your phone and call a friend to come pick you up, we can do that.
>> Oh my god.
>> Or if you want to call a cab, we can do that.
>> Oh, really?
>> I'm not going to sit here and waste my time talking to you forever.
>> Oh, okay. Okay. And so you need to make this decision very quickly.
>> No, you can do that. You can go ahead and do that.
>> Okay. So, do you want to go to jail and sit in a drunk tank?
>> Really?
>> I'm I'm asking you. Is that what you want to do?
>> No, I don't.
>> Okay. Then we can call a cab or we can call a friend to come pick you up. But I'm not going to leave here with your keys or with my keys with a >> I'm not going to leave >> cuz you're shut the up, Nancy.
>> Really?
>> Shut up. Okay. I'm not going to sit here and listen to this. I'm giving you a couple options. I'm not going to leave you with your keys for you to drive drunk and go crash into somebody so you can call a cab or you can call a friend to come pick you up. I'm not going to let you sit here and yell at my face.
>> Nancy, >> are you going to call a friend or you going to call a cab?
>> Are you going to call a friend or you going to call a cab? Nancy 32. Charlie, >> can you can I can Can I Can I >> No, you're not talking my phone. The presence of the police was deliberately ignored by her and the situation became increasingly tense as she even began making defiant remarks toward the officers.
>> You're not going to call a friend.
>> Go what you want to do.
>> Okay, then you're just going to go to jail and sit in a drunk tank.
>> That Joel go to Jen go take and it could go all the way Flores was paint. What?
Oh my god, you did that. Oh my god, you did that to me. OH MY GOD, YOU >> If you don't know, she took off her own clothing in an attempt to stage herself as a victim and falsely accuse the officers of misconduct. This is exactly why body cameras are so important. And after that, the situation became extremely chaotic.
>> Did that to me? Oh my god, you did that to me.
>> Oh my god, YOU SHUT >> PULL YOUR PANTS.
OH MY GOD. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, BRO?
>> Pull your pants up. What are you >> Shut. Why would you do that? Why would you do that?
>> PULL YOUR PANTS UP.
>> WHY WOULD you [ __ ] do that?
2038.
>> Stop it.
>> Why would you do that?
>> Can you answer?
>> Yes.
President.
>> The woman showed no shame, doing everything she could to make things difficult for the officers. However, she did not realize that her own actions ended up exposing her body for even longer.
>> Nationality for me, PLEASE >> JUST SCOUT. JUST SUFF and 15.
>> Yeah. Go. You go. You go. Cuz you know that you are >> No.
>> Yes. You >> just beat me with that.
>> YOU SLIP.
>> OH NO. I DIDN'T SLIP with that.
>> Get up.
>> I did not slept with that.
>> You hear me?
>> COME ON. YOU HURT ME WITH THIS.
>> That's what they did. That's what they said. That's what they did.
That's what IT IS.
THAT'S what it is.
>> Why are YOU >> even inside the patrol car, she still did not stop. She invoked her status as a citizen as a justification. But everything only further demonstrated that she was completely unstable.
>> Because you know why?
Because without the American Indian me because of us.
You You are nothing.
You stole everything and we belong. You believe everything.
You believe it. You can believe everything that you mean. You can even do a genetics test. You know what that means?
That means what you're raised and what you're American raised and your American raised and YOUR ENGLISH RAISED WITH.
GUESS WHAT?
You are us.
You are us. You don't have to have stimulation that they gave you what we are us.
You are us. That's what's so up. We are all of us. We are American Indians. We are Africanameans.
We are everything that you don't want to be.
The woman was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and false accusation against law enforcement officers. This case shows that intoxication combined with refusal to cooperate can quickly escalate a situation. Making false claims or attempting to shift blame in a chaotic state only worsens legal consequences and leads to more serious charges.
