Henry VIII Broke the Church for Anne Boleyn, But Jane Seymour Changed England‎

He tore England out of the Catholic Church, and he changed the course of English history, all for Anne Boleyn, a woman closely associated with the ideas of religious reform. But, after Anne [music] was executed, Henry chose Jane Seymour, a woman who was far more conservative, a woman who respected [music] traditional Christian practices and was closer to Catholic values than Anne. So, what about Henry himself?

Under Edward's rule, England moved toward Protestantism far more rapidly and [music] dramatically than it ever had under Henry VIII. So, the revolution that Henry began was ultimately carried forward [music] by the son of Jane Seymour, and that's one of the greatest ironies in Tudor history.
