When individuals possess prophetic visions of their own future actions, the psychological burden of knowing one's potential for violence can create a self-fulfilling prophecy, as the fear of becoming a monster may paradoxically drive one toward the very path they fear.

What If Anakin Saw the Temple Massacre Before He Chose Sidious???本站添加:
Rain slammed against the Senate windows.
Lightning flashed across Coruscant while Anakin Skywalker stood frozen inside Palpatine's office, breathing [music] hard. Mace Windu's lightsaber still glowed against the darkness near the shattered window, and at Anakin's feet, the Chancellor smiled, weak, burned, victorious. [music] "Please."
Palpatine whispered.
"You must choose." [music] The words echoed strangely, too slowly.
Anakin's [music] chest tightened.
Something felt wrong. Then suddenly, the room disappeared.
Metal doors exploded open. Clone [music] troopers stormed through smoke-filled hallways while red blaster fire illuminated the Jedi Temple in violent flashes. Children screamed somewhere ahead. [music] Anakin staggered backward. No.
Not backward.
Forward.
>> [music] >> He was moving forward. Heavy footsteps slammed against polished temple floors beneath him while black gloves tightened around a lightsaber hilt. Mechanical breathing echoed through the corridor.
Anakin froze in horror. That breathing was his. [music] The temple halls burned around him.
Dead Jedi covered the floor.
>> [music] >> Smoke drifted beneath crimson emergency lights while terrified younglings ran through shattered classrooms ahead. No.
His voice sounded deeper, broken, >> [music] >> machine-like.
Then the children saw him. Relief crossed their faces instantly. [music] "Master Skywalker." One whispered shakily.
"There are too many of them."
>> [music] >> The words hit harder than any blade.
Anakin tried to stop moving. He couldn't. [music] The vision dragged him forward like chains. The younglings stepped closer, trusting him.
One small girl grabbed his sleeve.
"You'll protect us, right?"
Tears filled Anakin's eyes instantly because somewhere deep deep inside himself [music] he already knew the answer.
The red blade ignited. Children screamed.
And suddenly Anakin >> [music] >> saw Padme dying beneath cold medical lights.
Obi-Wan collapsing beside lava rivers, a black mask lowering over burned skin.
>> [music] >> Then darkness. Only darkness. And inside it, Darth Vader breathing [music] forever.
Anakin crashed back into Palpatine's office violently. The rain, the lightning, [music] the broken window, real again. He fell to one knee shaking uncontrollably while sweat rolled down his face.
Palpatine's smile slowly faded, because the force around Anakin had changed.
Fear filled the room now.
>> [music] >> Not fear of losing Padme, fear of himself. Anakin looked toward his own trembling hands, and for the first time in his life Anakin Skywalker became terrified of the man he was about to become. A child screamed somewhere behind him. Anakin Skywalker spun around instantly inside the empty Jedi corridor, his hand flying toward his lightsaber.
Nothing.
Only silence. Only cold temple lights reflecting across polished floors. His breathing slowed painfully. The scream had sounded real, too [music] real.
Anakin rubbed exhausted eyes as distant rain struck the high temple windows outside. He had not slept in nearly two days.
Every time he closed his eyes he saw the temple burning again. The smoke, the bodies, the red blade, his blade. Then came the breathing, mechanical, inhuman, waiting inside darkness. Anakin entered the training room slowly while younglings practiced small levitation exercises beneath soft blue lights.
Their laughter echoed harmlessly through the chamber. It should have felt peaceful.
>> [music] >> Instead, panic tightened inside his chest because he recognized some of their faces now from the vision. [music] Alive here, dead later. Master Yoda studied Anakin quietly from across the room. The old Jedi sensed it immediately.
Fear, not ordinary fear, something heavier, something broken.
"You are troubled." Yoda said softly.
Anakin forced a nod. "I'm fine." Lie.
[music] Even the Force reacted strangely around him now. Sharp, unstable, dangerous.
Then one small boy approached carefully, no older than six. He looked up at Anakin with innocent curiosity while holding a floating training sphere between shaking hands.
"Master Skywalker."
Anakin froze instantly.
The child smiled weakly. There are too many of them. The sphere dropped from Anakin's hand. The exact words, the [music] exact voice from the vision.
Suddenly the room changed. Smoke flooded the chamber. [music] Blaster fire exploded through the hallways. Children screaming.
Clone helmets moving through flames.
Anakin stumbled backward violently while his heart pounded against his ribs.
>> [music] >> No.
No, no, no. The youngling reached toward him carefully. "Master Skywalker."
>> [music] >> But Anakin heard something else now.
The ignition of a red lightsaber. His future waiting for him.
Yoda stepped forward immediately as the room trembled faintly through the Force.
Anakin's face had gone pale. Sweat rolled down his skin despite the cold temple air. Then, quietly, almost too quietly to hear, Anakin whispered the words that terrified Yoda most.
"What if the Jedi are already dead and we just don't know it yet?"
The glass shattered beside Padme's head.
Anakin stood frozen across the apartment breathing heavily while rain hammered against the Coruscant skyline outside.
A metal cup rolled slowly across the floor between [music] them. Neither moved. For one horrifying second Padme thought he might not even realize what he had done.
>> [music] >> Then Anakin looked at his trembling hand and fear crossed his face instantly.
[music] Not fear of her.
Fear of himself. "I didn't mean" his voice cracked.
>> [music] >> Padme stepped forward care- carefully through the dim apartment lights while thunder echoed beyond the windows.
>> [music] >> "You haven't slept again." Not a question.
Anakin turned away immediately.
The shadows beneath his eyes looked darker now. His movements sharper, restless.
Every sound seemed to make him flinch.
Every silence felt dangerous. Padme [music] watched him pace toward the balcony while distant traffic lights flickered below Coruscant's endless storm.
"You're hiding something from me." She whispered. [music] Anakin stopped.
The rain reflected across the glass beside him like prison bars. How could he explain this? How could he tell her he saw himself murdering children? That every time he closed his eyes >> [music] >> he heard screaming? The mechanical breathing returned suddenly inside his [music] his mind. Closer now.
Waiting.
Anakin grabbed the balcony railing hard enough to bend metal.
"I'm trying to stop [music] something."
Padme's expression softened painfully.
"What?"
Anakin looked back toward her slowly.
And for a moment Padme barely recognized the man standing there. Not because he looked angry, because he looked hunted.
The apartment lights flickered softly.
Anakin stepped closer again while the storm darkened outside. Then quietly, almost like he feared the answer, he asked the question that finally terrified Padme.
If someone did terrible things his voice lowered. Horrible things.
Rain struck the windows harder. Anakin's eyes looked distant now, >> [music] >> broken.
Could you still love them? Silence swallowed the room.
Padme's heart tightened painfully because that question did not sound hypothetical. It sounded like confession.
And somewhere deep inside the force Darth Sidious smiled [music] because Anakin Skywalker was already beginning to break himself apart.
The medical droid's arm snapped in half.
Metal crashed across the Senate office floor while sparks burst through the dark chamber.
Anakin [music] stepped backward breathing heavily staring at the broken machine in horror.
He had not [music] touched it, not physically.
Palpatine watched silently from his chair near the window while Coruscant's endless rain slid across the glass behind him.
Interesting. Very interesting. Fear radiated from Anakin now like heat from exposed wires, >> [music] >> not ordinary fear, future fear.
You've seen something. Sidious said softly. Anakin [music] looked away immediately, too quickly. The chance-less yellow Sith eyes narrowed beneath the shadows.
The boy was unraveling.
>> [music] >> Every movement exposed it now. Sleepless eyes shaking hands, breathing that changed whenever the temple was mentioned.
Palpatine could almost taste the timeline mutating around him.
What did the force show you? He asked quietly. [music] Anakin's jaw tightened. Children screaming flashed through his mind again. Smoke. Ash. A red lightsaber cutting through darkness. His lightsaber. I saw death.
Palpatine smiled faintly. Everyone fears death.
No, Anakin whispered. "You don't understand." But Sidious understood perfectly. The future had reached Anakin too soon.
>> [music] >> And now the chosen one feared becoming Darth Vader before the Empire even [music] existed.
Dangerous.
The rain outside intensified violently.
>> [music] >> Lightning illuminated the office while Palpatine slowly approached Anakin through the darkness.
Then quietly, the Sith Lord reached into his mind.
>> [music] >> The vision arrived instantly.
Padme, screaming. Alone.
Dying beneath cold medical lights, Anakin dropped to one knee as terror ripped through his chest. [music] "No." The vision changed.
Obi-Wan holding Padme's lifeless body.
Jedi masters turning away from Anakin in disgust. Then darkness.
Only Vader breathing again.
Palpatine lowered his voice carefully.
"This future can still be prevented."
Anakin looked upward desperately.
[music] The perfect moment. The perfect wound.
Sidious placed one hand against his shoulder. "But not through the Jedi."
Silence swallowed the office.
And somewhere deep inside himself, Anakin Skywalker realized the most horrifying truth yet.
Even after seeing the monster he becomes, he still might choose the same path anyway.
The lightsaber hit the floor with a violent metallic crack. Obi-Wan stopped instantly outside the training chamber.
>> [music] >> Inside, Anakin stood frozen in the dark, breathing heavily, while blue light flickered across the walls from his unstable saber blade.
>> [music] >> Something was wrong. Very wrong.
Rain echoed faintly against the high temple windows while sparks hissed from scorched [music] training droids scattered across the floor around him.
Anakin looked exhausted, [music] not physically, spiritually.
Like a man losing a war inside his own head, Anakin.
The name alone made him flinch. Obi-Wan felt his stomach tighten immediately.
That reaction was fear, not guilt, fear.
Anakin turned slowly while shadows moved across his face beneath the unstable blue light.
"You shouldn't be [music] here."
Obi-Wan stepped closer carefully. "I've been hearing reports."
"Then stop listening." Sharp, [music] defensive, but underneath it, panic.
Obi-Wan studied him silently for several seconds. Then his eyes moved toward the broken training droids around the chamber. Every [music] strike mark was brutal, precise, violent, like Anakin had been trying to kill something that refused to die.
Then suddenly Anakin froze. His breathing changed. [music] Obi-Wan saw it happen in real time. The force around him darkened sharply while Anakin stared toward the far side of the chamber in horror.
>> [music] >> Empty space. Nothing there.
But Anakin saw something.
"No." He whispered weakly. Obi-Wan stepped forward immediately. "Anakin?"
[music] Then he heard it, too.
Breathing, mechanical, slow. The sound seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at once.
Obi-Wan's face lost color. Anakin backed away from the darkness trembling now, and for one horrifying second, Obi-Wan saw reflected red light moving across Anakin's eyes. Not Sith eyes, memory.
"He kills them." Anakin whispered. His voice cracked apart. "The children, the temple, all of it." Obi-Wan felt cold suddenly.
"What are you talking about?" Anakin looked directly at him now, and Obi-Wan finally understood the truth.
>> [music] >> This was not ambition, not corruption, not even temptation.
This was terror, pure terror.
"I saw what I become." Anakin said quietly.
Silence swallowed the chamber. Rain, [music] breathing, darkness. Then finally, Anakin lowered his head like a man confessing a crime before committing it and whispered the words Obi-Wan would never forget.
"I don't trust my own mind anymore."
[music] Thunder rolled above the Jedi Temple.
Rain struck the High Council windows while silence filled the chamber like smoke.
Every master watched Anakin Skywalker standing alone at the center of the room beneath cold blue light.
>> [music] >> No confidence, no arrogance, only exhaustion. Anakin's eyes looked hollow now like someone surviving memories that had not happened yet.
Mace Windu spoke first. "You said the clones betray us."
Sharp, [music] direct. Anakin swallowed slowly. "Yes."
The word barely escaped him.
>> [music] >> Several masters exchanged uneasy glances immediately.
Yoda remained silent in his chair watching the force twist violently around Anakin's fear.
"Explain." Mace demanded. [music] Anakin closed his eyes briefly.
Then the visions returned.
Temple fires, children [music] screaming, the breathing, always the breathing. When he opened his eyes again, they looked wet with exhaustion.
>> [music] >> "There's another name." He whispered.
Rain hammered harder against the windows. [music] "A Sith name."
The chamber tightened instantly. Obi-Wan felt dread crawl through his chest because he already knew what was coming.
[music] Anakin's voice cracked softly. "Darth Vader."
Silence. Even the storm outside seemed to distant now.
Then, >> [music] >> suddenly, Anakin ignited his lightsaber.
Blue light flooded the Council chamber violently. Several Jedi moved instantly toward their own weapons.
>> [music] >> Not because he attacked, because fear spread faster than reason. Anakin's [music] breathing became uneven as flashes from the future bled across his vision again. Temple halls burning, clone helmets moving through smoke, younglings dying beneath red light, then >> [music] >> himself.
Black armor, mechanical breathing, murder inside darkness.
>> [music] >> Anakin deactivated the saber immediately and stepped backward trembling.
"That's what I become." The confession wounded the room. Obi-Wan looked physically sick. Yoda lowered his head slowly. Mace Windu's expression hardened into something colder than [music] anger, suspicion.
Then alarms exploded across the temple.
Sharp, [music] violent. A temple guard burst into the chamber breathing heavily. "Masters, [music] clone patrols outside the district are firing on civilians and Jedi escorts." The room froze. [music] Too early.
Far too early. Anakin's face lost color instantly because the future was no longer waiting anymore.
>> [music] >> It was starting to happen now. Blaster fire echoed through the streets below.
>> [music] >> The Jedi Temple.
Smoke climbed into the Coruscant sky while clone gunships roared between burning towers. Sirens screamed endlessly across the capital planet as civilians ran through shattered streets beneath flashing red emergency lights.
The Republic was collapsing in real time.
Inside the temple command chamber, holograms flickered violently around Anakin Skywalker's exhausted face.
Reports flooded every system simultaneously.
>> [music] >> Clone forces attacking civilians near the Senate district.
Jedi escorts executed during evacuation, some battalions >> [music] >> refusing commands entirely. Nothing made sense anymore. The future was breaking apart faster than anyone could control.
Obi-Wan stared at the chaotic holo map in disbelief.
"This isn't Order 66." He whispered.
[music] Anakin's breathing tightened painfully because deep down he knew it was worse.
The original future had been controlled, organized. [music] This was fear mutating into chaos.
Suddenly a transmission burst across the chamber. A clone captain appeared through static bleeding heavily from the shoulder.
>> [music] >> "We're trying to hold sector five." He shouted desperately.
"Some troopers are resisting the order.
Others are shooting everyone they see."
>> [music] >> Blaster fire exploded behind him. Then the transmission died.
Silence swallowed the room.
>> [music] >> Yoda lowered his head slowly. "Breaking apart, the clones clones are?" He murmured. "No." Anakin whispered [music] weakly.
Everyone looked toward him. Rain struck the temple windows while distant explosions shook the skyline outside.
Anakin's face looked hollow now.
Like a man watching his nightmare evolve into something even darker.
"This is my fault."
>> [music] >> The words landed heavily inside the chamber because nobody could fully deny them anymore.
Temple alarms turned crimson. [music] A Jedi knight rushed inside breathing hard.
"Master Skywalker, Senate security forces are fighting clone battalions outside the central district. Open war on Coruscant."
>> [music] >> Before the Empire had even been declared. Anakin slowly closed his eyes as screams from the future echoed inside his mind again.
Only now they no longer belonged to the younglings alone.
Lightning split the Coruscant sky.
The Senate chamber trembled beneath distant explosions >> [music] >> while smoke drifted through shattered windows high above the dying Republic.
Clone gunships screamed between burning tower towers outside as red emergency lights pulsed across the darkened hall.
At the center of the chamber, Darth Sidious waited. His yellow eyes reflected the chaos consuming the galaxy below. And Anakin Skywalker stood alone before him.
Breathing hard, [music] exhausted, haunted.
"You wanted to stop the future." Sidious [music] said softly. His voice almost sounded sympathetic. Then he gestured toward the burning city beyond the Senate windows.
"Look at what your fear created."
>> [music] >> Anakin's chest tightened painfully.
Because the emperor was not entirely wrong.
>> [music] >> The Jedi were fractured.
The clones were unstable.
The Republic was already collapsing into open war.
>> [music] >> And somewhere beneath all that chaos, Anakin still heard the younglings screaming. [music] Sidious stepped closer slowly through the shadows.
"If you had become Vader," he whispered, [music] "the galaxy would have suffered under order."
Lightning flashed across his ruined face. "But now?"
>> [music] >> The Senate tower shook violently.
Screams echoed faintly through the distant streets below.
"Now the galaxy suffers under uncertainty."
>> [music] >> The words cut deeper than any lightsaber. Because Anakin could finally see the terrible possibility hiding beneath everything.
>> [music] >> Maybe there was no future left without blood.
Behind him, surviving Jedi stood near the chamber entrance, >> [music] >> watching carefully. Afraid.
Not of Sidious. Of him.
Anakin felt it instantly.
The distrust. The suspicion. The quiet [music] fear spreading through the force every time someone looked at him now.
Even Obi-Wan looked uncertain. That hurt most of all. Then suddenly, the younglings screamed again inside Anakin's mind.
Louder this time. [music] Smoke flooded his vision, temple fires, Vader's breathing, children dying beneath red light.
Anakin ignited his lightsaber violently.
Blue light flooded the Senate Chamber.
>> [music] >> The Jedi tensed behind him.
Sidious smiled because the final choice had finally arrived.
And for the first time since the visions began, Anakin Skywalker no longer knew which side of the blade would save the galaxy.
