Ruthless Wife Got Dubai Kingpin To Melt Her Ex To Death | UK Crime NewsAdded:
A woman cried in court today after she was convicted of killing her ex-husband in a doorstep acid attack that she orchestrated with a gangster and his gang of hitmen for 2,000 lb.
Danny Cahalan was attacked by two suspects from London at his home in Plymouth in Devon last February.
Danny was a fitness instructor and he was a target of a doorstep acid attack over a 120,000 lb debt after he gambled away a drug lord's money.
He died from his injuries around 10 weeks later.
His ex-missus, a woman who goes by the name of Paris Wilson, who's 35 years old, has been found guilty of manslaughter following an 8-week trial at Winchester Crown Court, but she was ultimately cleared of his murder.
Wilson, who was also convicted of attempted kidnap after she set him up to be ambushed a month before the fatal attack.
Danny's family said after her conviction today that they had been broken by his death and revealed that his own mother died 24 hours after he passed away on May the 3rd, 2025.
The prosecutor, Joe Martin, said his ex-wife, Paris, had helped orchestrate the acid attack in exchange for a couple of grand because she thought he deserved to get hurt.
Her former spouse was the target of a doorstep acid attack over a 120,000 lb debt after he gambled away the money.
She was accused of setting up the hits on the father of her child and said of the plan, "At least nobody but Dan gets hurt and he did [ __ ] massively with my life and I'm not going to forgive him."
Wilson's fellow defendant, Romario Bacar, was also convicted of manslaughter at Winchester Crown Court and the jury returned guilty verdicts for the murder of on Abdul Rashid Adidolja and Israel Augustus, who are both from London.
Wilson, who shared a childhood Danny, was accused of setting up him to be ambushed. She did this by feeding information on his whereabouts to a drugs kingpin who Danny owed money to.
The business development worker burst into tears at Winchester Crown Court as she was found not guilty of murder, but flickered her eyelashes as the manslaughter verdict was read out.
Juries deliberated for 40 hours. Wilson was convicted unanimously on all counts, and two men today were convicted for murder following the acid attack.
Danny's family said in a statement, "Today's verdict brings a sense of justice, but it does not bring Danny back.
This crime has devastated our family. It has torn lives apart and left a lasting impact that cannot be undone."
So, during the course of the trial, a jury heard how the conspiracy to murder Danny was planned and executed by organized crime group based in London and abroad linked to drug supply both in Plymouth and further afield.
Danny headed up the Plymouth side of the drug dealing operation, but when a person working below him fled to New Zealand, he was left owing around 120,000 pounds to those further up the chain.
When he was unable to repay the debt, Danny's boss became agitated leading to death threats and ultimately a series of events that will result in Danny's death.
On Sunday, 19th of January, 2025, a resident living in the area became aware of three suspicious men sat in a Hyundai.
The vehicle had traveled from London and contained Jean and Aaron Mukuna and a third man.
Short time later, Danny arrived in his to drop his daughter off to her mother, Wilson, who was uh living in the area.
Despite the men trying to get to Zani, he was able to escape.
Minutes later, Danny received a message from the crime boss referring to a close call adding that he's going to die next time.
Wilson became a go-to contact for the individual at the top of the criminal organization to put pressure on Danny to pay up, and she also happily gave up information in exchange for payment and to get her own back on Danny.
So, who did he owe the money to? So, it was heard that Danny owed 120 grand to a guy called Frost, a drugs kingpin whose real name was Ryan Kennedy.
And Wilson was the one feeding information to Ryan Kennedy.
She also told Ryan Kennedy, aka Frost, where Danny would be before he was ambushed in 2025.
In the early hours of the 21st of February, a stolen vehicle drove up to Danny's property reversing into an alleyway nearby.
A guy goes by the name of Augustus and a second man then approached Danny's home.
Prior to his death while being treated in hospital, Danny was able to tell officers that he was woken by two men assaulting him with weapons.
Anyway, after temporarily fighting them off, one of the men returned from the vehicle parked outside and threw sulfuric acid from a coffee cup over Danny causing the injuries which would in time cost him his life.
These would-be assassins then departed Plymouth in the same vehicle before breaking down on the M4. They then arrived on foot in the nearby Wiltshire village of Grittleton attending properties and a local pub trying to charge their phone and arrange a lift.
Eventually, they were able to return to London after a lift was organized by a man who goes by the name of Adid Olja Bacchus Sithole to pick them up from Chippenham.
Officers then conducted extensive fast-paced inquiries including examination of phone records, CCTV and doorbell footage and ANPR resulting in the identification and subsequent arrest of the defendants who stood trial.
So, Wilson is ex-missus said that she helped out in exchange for a couple of the grand because she thought her ex, Danny, deserved to get hurt.
And as I said, she sent a message saying, "I'm worried about my karma, but at least nobody like Danny gets hurt and he did [ __ ] massively with my life and he deserves it." However, Wilson said during the trial that she didn't expect Danny to receive anything more than just a punch.
She said, "I certainly never foresaw anything more than a punch in the face.
A better way to say it was that he would get into a fight and just have it out."
She had previously admitted the pair had a turbulent relationship and she said that she had heard Frost threatened to melt Danny.
Weeks before the fatal attack, she texted Danny saying, "I hope you and your butt as girl both end up with acid on your faces."
So, the term butt as is a slang word that means ugly.
Wilson insisted she was just being nasty and was just relaying threats that had been hurled towards Danny from Frost.
So, for the defense the solicitor had previously told the court that Wilson would not be willing to sacrifice her daughter who was in the house during the acid attack.
She said that Wilson was trying to assert some kind of agency in a situation telling Frost where he was in the January incident in total. Nine people are on trial at Winchester Crown Court.
So, there were a The of people accused of the murder You Abdul Rashid Adedoji, Romani Baccas, Sithole, Israel Augustus, Issana Sungum, Brian Kalember, and a woman from Plymouth, Judil.
Uh they they also pleaded not guilty to a charge of manslaughter and Adedoji, Baccas, Sithole, Augustus, Wilson, Sungum, and Kalember all denied in participating in criminal activities of an organized crime group.
Adedoji, Baccas, Sithole, Wilson, Jean Makuna, and Adam Makuna pleaded not guilty to the attempted kidnap on Callaghan. Today, Wilson, Jean Makuna, Adam Makuna were all found guilty of attempted kidnap. Adedoji and Augustus was found guilty of murder, while Baccas and Wilson were found guilty of manslaughter. Sungum was found guilty of participating in criminal activity.
So, sentencing is going to be placed at a later date.
Detective Inspector Rachel Blanchard from Devon and Cornwall Police said this was a cold-blooded and brutal killing of a man in his own home in Plymouth, a place where Danny was entitled to feel safe.
Danny was just 38 years old and loved by his family and friends, and it's clear that his death has left a huge void in the lives of who knew him.
Danny's killing was carefully planned and ruthlessly executed, and the plot in which involved those have been convicted following this trial played a variety of roles.
This kind of violence is a clear example of how such criminal organizations operates.
And the family of Danny, they said in a statement, "Danny was not just a victim, he was a son, a father, a loved one. His children will grow up without him, and that is a loss that will never truly heal."
Danny's mom, who sadly passed away the day after him, would have been incredibly proud to see this outcome. We take some comfort in believing she would be standing beside us today, supporting the fight for justice.
They went on to say, "Our focus now is on rebuilding our lives and supporting Danny's children, ensuring they grow up knowing who their father was and how deeply he was loved.
Lives are ruined, families are broken, and the consequences are permanent."
Guys, this is a new story coming from the streets of the UK. It's your boy Jeezy.
