Fujita masterfully demonstrates that true musical depth comes from the rigorous application of fundamentals rather than mere technical complexity. This is a definitive guide for those who seek to understand the fretboard through logic instead of patterns.

Review Major Triad Inversion in 3 Ways - Every Guitar Players Must Know!Added:
Hello everyone. It's Tomo here.
Thank you so much for watching Tomo's the music. This lesson I want to show you about the triads. Triads is three note group of chords.
C E G, E G C, G C E. So three different inversions.
Already too much words, inversions. It's just you know, different chords.
Different type of variations, you know.
So but if you learn slowly, it's not too much.
But be careful. Don't learn everything because they make yourself confused.
No need to memorize.
You need to learn, you be familiar with.
Okay? So I will go into really slow. So this lesson overall picture I want you to see. So I'm not expecting you to understand right away, but you overall you can see.
So basically we can play you know, chord the form like horizontal, side by side.
I think this is kind of nice because this way you learn name of the notes on the fretboard. Okay? Of course, same time like a guitar wisdom, you have to watch ET01 major scale, one string one finger approach so that you understand each note of a major scale individual string.
Without that, you cannot learn scale or chords, right? It's like catch-22. You cannot learn everything all together, you know. So you have to do one by one, but sometime you have to little wait.
Another words, there's a little bit of frustration, but don't worry, you get there. Okay?
Now vertical, this way. So like I show you from top to bottom.
Top higher string we call top even though the bottom. And the bottom string even though the top, you know, bottom string, higher string, you know.
Top string, yeah, so we do that. And then if we have a time, I show you same inversion in different set of strings.
So three types, okay? Let's start from like in bottom strings.
If you play C E G, sounds like this.
>> [music] >> That's the wrong note.
That was a good one.
>> [music] >> Bad teacher.
Do Mi Sol, C E G, root major [music] third, fifth.
Looks like that.
Okay?
And then Mi Sol [singing] Do.
That's the first inversion.
>> [music] >> Hendrix does the first inversion.
>> [music] >> And then Sol Do Mi.
This is really nice [music] chord.
>> [music] >> So from the bottom like this, second inversion. So this is the called root position.
C E G, [music] root, major third perfect fifth. You have to write it down. Major third, fifth, root.
>> [music] >> Okay? So that's the first inversion.
And the second inversion like that, Sol Do [music] Mi.
So these are part of chords, you know.
Right? [music] Even C.
>> [music] [music] >> You can play one octave.
>> [music] >> And you have to stay in tune.
You know.
And fifth string, Do Mi Sol, C E G.
>> [music] >> Okay?
Mi Sol Do, right here.
E G C. So you have to write it down on a paper just you know, once. [music] Sol Do Mi.
G C E.
Now Sol Do Mi like if you want to back up.
>> [music] >> It's in it there.
Do Mi Sol.
>> [music] >> One [music] more time.
Do Mi Sol.
Mi Sol Do.
Sol Do Mi.
Do Mi Sol.
>> [music] >> And then play it softer.
Now next set is a little difficult because different fingerings.
For example, if you play Do Mi Sol >> [music] >> and same fingering but if you do this same fingering doesn't work.
>> [music] >> Because tuning system like here half step down.
That means same shape that you want to play >> [music] >> you have to half step up.
That's why.
So you have to logic like this, shape become [music] this.
Do Mi Sol, you know.
And this shape >> [music] >> become this.
Tricky, you know.
And this second inversion you have to do this.
>> [music] >> So first inversion.
Second inversion.
Root position.
Second inversion.
>> [music] >> Okay?
So now you see all work because now each set you have to work. But the bottom set from sixth string, fifth string same shape.
Other one is a little difficult, but only you you have to go half step up on the second string. So now doesn't work.
Same concept, you add the one more.
>> [music] >> So like this, Sol Do Mi.
>> [music] >> Do Mi Sol.
Mi Sol Do.
Sol Do Mi.
>> [music] [music] >> So review from the top.
>> [music] >> If you don't get it, don't worry. It will take time, you know. So you have to do slowly.
>> [music] >> Mi Sol Do.
Sol Do Mi, Do Mi Sol.
You go down.
>> [music] >> Thumb position is really important a little lower. Do Mi Sol.
Mi Sol Do.
Sol Do Mi, Do Mi Sol. [music] No finger scratch [music] noise. Sol Do Mi.
Do Mi Sol.
Mi Sol Do, Sol Do Mi.
>> [music] >> Now we do vertical. Vertical means from top strings to go bottom. Little tricky.
Sol Do Mi.
>> [music] >> Sol Do Mi, Mi Sol Do.
Do Mi Sol, play it a softer.
>> [music] >> Sol Do Mi.
Watch thumb position.
>> [music] >> Little bit lower.
Little bit lower.
>> [music] >> Little bit lower.
Keep moving.
>> [music] >> Next one, root position.
>> [music] >> 3 1 3 4 1 fingering.
Okay? Thumb position here.
Second inversion.
Sol Do Mi.
>> [music] >> Mi Sol Do, first inversion, soft.
Root position, soft.
>> [music] >> Soft.
>> [music] >> Mi Sol Do.
>> [music] >> Do Mi Sol.
Sol Do Mi.
Mi Sol Do.
So now learn this slowly.
>> [music] >> Already if you know these chord shapes, you know, inversion, then you can try different key. You have a key of A F, you can do vertical, horizontal. What do you think? Can you do that?
Okay. So last part is connecting same inversion in each set. So supposedly from root position sixth string, [music] fifth string same.
Octave here.
But second, third, fourth string little different.
>> [music] >> Top three string different because of second string.
Right? One more time.
>> [music] >> See, that way you have a same sound in different position.
>> [music] [music] >> Like that, you can transpose. Now first inversion.
>> [music] >> Nice.
So, those three positions same octave.
>> [music] [music] >> So, different tone. Now, you learn at least try as many places. Three positions you can play. Three different set. Second invert Oh, sorry. Then, go [music] the here.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> So, this way you have a same phrase in different position. Second inversion.
>> [music] >> Very nice sound. I like that.
>> [music] >> So, >> [music] >> here.
>> [music] >> Second inversion really nice sound.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> So, we just run C major scale. I'm sorry. C notes. I'm lying. C triad.
C E G as root position.
E G C first inversion. Mi So Do.
You know, major third or fifth root. And then, So Do Mi. G C E fifth root third.
And second inversion. So, we learn position. Very technical. So, don't expect too fast.
Be kind to yourself. And don't worry.
And don't compare. This is really important. Okay. So, uh finally, this guitar is Esquire. Looks like a Telecaster, but only one pickup. I believe before Telecaster, Leo Fender made this guitar first. Esquire. And great part of this guitar, you see, it has switch.
If you go this way, it's no no wiring on the tone.
Doesn't do anything. So, [music] really bright.
This one effect. So, most people use like middle. Like a little bit mild.
>> [music] >> And the wide.
Really nice sound.
Now, here there's capacitor and they make it really muddy sound.
I don't know what effect.
>> [music] >> If you use a fuzz or something, probably very useful. But, yeah. Like you know, like >> [music] [music] >> See, if you do that, >> [music] >> too bright.
>> [music] [music] >> Nice guitar.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> The reason Jeff become really amazing guitar player because he used a Esquire. That's why I always associate with Esquire.
>> [music] >> All right. So, we just went through C major triads. Root position, first inversion, second inversion. Vertical, horizontal. And then, same triads. Of course, if you didn't learn these without in learning one string approach, you should have learned Guitar Wisdoms uh music theory. You know, essential music theory. First one, ET 01 major scale. You have to learn that.
Okay? So, thank you so much, guys. See you soon. Take care. Bye.
