This critique incisively exposes how the attention economy monetizes child neglect, turning parental failure into a profitable digital performance. It is a sobering indictment of how algorithmic incentives are systematically eroding fundamental human ethics.

SOCIAL MEDIA LOVES NEGLECTFUL BAD PARENTS
Added:Hey you guys, it's Bree tonight. We're here to talk about bad parents of social media, bad parents of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, whatever you want to label it as.
I've had it quite enough of bad parents getting huge platforms based off of the fact that they are bad parents. It is actually very tiring, but for some reason it seems like if you're a bad parent and you're posting your bad parenting on social media, you will be given likes, attention, and money. And sometimes even pity and sorrow from people who are willing to excuse what they're watching. So, I had a few thoughts. We're going to talk about Bree Olson and um you know, her and Stephanie Thompson very similar, but I had thoughts. So, if you're interested, please keep watching.
All right, you guys. So, for whatever reason, over on TikTok, I've been given a lot of Bree Olson content on my FYP.
She recently had her second child with her boyfriend or fiance, I don't know, Santos. And if y'all don't know of her, she is very well known over on TikTok, lots of reaction pages and clip pages and all of that kind of stuff.
Um she is known for being an absolute train wreck.
So, she had a child with her ex-boyfriend 2K, and now she has another child with her current whatever, Santos.
And as a spoiler, she lost custody of her son with 2K. Now, if you're wondering how she lost custody of her son with 2K, I found this clip a couple of days ago and it really encapsulates what she was doing weeks after giving birth to her first child. So, let's watch this and then I will give you all my thoughts.
>> Yeah, I pretty much took Winter out as soon as he was born, like within 2 weeks. I think I went to the LA County Fair with my friends. [laughter] And I got [ __ ] canceled so bad. Come with me and Winter to the LA County Fair.
Here is what he is wearing.
Cute little Nike jumpsuit. Okay, so we got to the fair. It was so gorgeous outside and I got a [ __ ] margarita, obviously. Made Austin get a turkey leg.
It was so good. Um and then I had to feed Winter.
So cute. Um and then we kind of just all tag teamed on taking care of him while I went on the rides and drank.
Um then we got food again and I got another drink. These margaritas are strong as [ __ ] Um me and Lena were wasted by this time and Austin was really just taking care of us and taking care of Winter. And then he bought us food. Um and then Lena dropped her chicken nugget. Jesus Christ. He was over it by now, probably. Um but yeah, I didn't vlog the rest because I got really drunk and then I went home. So, yeah. This morning he filed for emergency custody of Winter because I got drunk at the fair this morning.
>> drunk.
>> Yeah, two mar- two $17 margaritas. Like, get the [ __ ] out of here. I like it doesn't matter what I say, that's what it was. Like, word for word he goes, "While she was drunk, Winter was being watched by my old best friend Austin, who she also slept with when she was 5 months pregnant." What does that have to do with anything? And I didn't sleep with Austin. He just ate my coochie.
Get it right, ho. But I don't know. I guess people thought that was too soon, but I don't know. I believe in like just get them out there, get their immune system good and going.
>> So, that is just a brief taste as to why she lost custody of her first child.
Now, while she filmed herself getting drunk at the fair with her newborn, um and being reckless and neglectful, there were people that were supporting this. They were egging her on. They were giving her a whole round of applause for being a neglectful mother. There is no question in my mind why somebody like this, and again, this is just a small taste of what she was like as a mother to her first child.
It is no wonder she lost custody because you have 2K on the other side making sure that he could care for his son. Doing everything in his power to make sure that this child was raised in a calm, peaceful, consistent, loving home. And something else that I've seen recently is that since she had her second child, 2K has decided to just go super unfiltered and loud on how he feels about Bree on his live streams, and I realized that he said some uh select things about her.
There were a lot of people saying, "How dare you do this to a freshly postpartum mother?" Based on my stance and the things that I have consumed, to me, it sounded like he was tired of staying silent. He was tired of people supporting a neglectful mother, and he decided to tell the world how he felt. Now, if you're wondering how Bree is interacting with her newborn this time, she is still live streaming all of the time, paying more attention to people that follow her on social media than she is to her own child. She is making sure that uh other people are raising her child instead of her so that she can focus on live streaming again and you know, getting attention on social media. She is an absent mother. She is absolutely an absent and neglectful mother and I truly do not understand why somebody like her is supported online.
Just because you're a mother does not mean that you should be praised and supported for it, especially when you have a toddler that you already lost custody of.
And this really ties back into the conversation with the not so resilient Jenkins.
Drew has lost custody of his son and people are still willing to side with them and send them positivity and the benefit of the doubt.
And I truly do not understand people online who know all the facts are out there. You know that these people are not good and these children are suffering because of their parents' decisions and y'all are still willing to support them and give them money and attention and praise.
It is truly as if we are living in a parallel universe. I don't understand it. I never have. I never will. I always come back to thinking about the kids and how this is going to negatively impact them not only now, but years from now.
You have your parents putting their neglect on social media uh public sites for monetary gain. Kids are not always kids.
And I know when we're talking about bird brains like Stephanie and Bree they don't think about that, but your kids are not always going to be kids, and they are going to grow up and be able to rewatch the tragedy of their childhood because you decided to post it because dumbasses were willing to support you.
Sometimes when I wonder who on earth is supporting these people, I think of maybe it's other people like them who are also neglectful and and terrible parents, so they see no issue with what is being posted, and maybe these platforms are built off of other terrible parents because they see no issue with it. Even the people who seem to have it all together, like the uh Emily Kaisers of the world, which by the way, it's very interesting to see how the perspective is changing on her.
Um even those parents on TikTok, just because you're making money online obviously does not mean that you are a good parent. Making money and having a platform does not make parents change their behavior and change the way that they are raising their children. The rabbit holes of Bree and Stephanie Thompson are both huge, but to be honest, I am just so fatigued of bad parents being praised on social media.
Um even if it is a bunch of bird brains who think like them, I'm still tired of it. I've talked about influencer fatigue recently, and I would say above that, I am fatigued of bad parents being applauded online.
What are we doing? You cannot say that you are here for kids if you are supporting bad parents online.
It does not exist. So, either way, that's my rant for tonight. I've had enough. If you like the video, please leave a like and a comment. And if you'd like to see more from me in the future, please subscribe. I'll see you guys soon. Bye.
