What if? Old F-86 Sabres vs Modern F-18 Hornets #DCS

[00:00:00]In my last video, a lot of you whiners in the comment section were complaining that the A10 was not a fighter and not a challenge for the Saber. So, would an F-18 Hornet be enough challenge for this old F86? And as I just watched my teammate overshoot, I'm going to sneak in here and try to get some shots of my own.

[00:00:21]>> His right engine is on fire, but that doesn't stop my Saber team from continually peppering him. And once I realize that hornet has departed and no chance of getting out of this, I'm going to move on and try to find my next target. And I think our team of old sabers is doing a pretty good job on these fellas. And I've just found my next target.

[00:00:40]Another F-18 Hornet. And as we merge, something catches my eye. Oh no. I'm hoping that explosion on the ground was that Hornet and not my teammate. H. And I don't think I'm going to be able to catch this F-18 Hornet. I'm relieved to see there's my teammate, but I might be able to catch this Hornet.

[00:01:00]My teammate takes a hit, but simultaneously takes out an F-16 while I'm still working on the F-18 Hornet.

[00:01:13]I've landed shots, but I'm out of ammo.

[00:01:15]And now that Hornet is coming around on my teammate. Never mind. Tree finished him off and I'm out of here.
