5 Passengers. 152Ah Battery. This Thing Is INSANE. School Pickup in a 1500W EBike Rickshaw!Added:
We're going to take the luxury rickshaw to go pick up two more passengers from school. Stick around to see it.
Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have 20 years experience in the bike and ebike industry. Today we've got our extra seat attached in the back there with Hudson on the back. Say hi Hudie.
>> Hi.
>> And uh we got Amanda right here on this seat. We're going to go pick up my other two kids at school and show you how we can get four passengers back here and get up some serious hills on the way as well. So, if you want to check out this Rick Shots, it's linked in the description below. Um, we've got some other videos on it, but just to give you a quick synopsis, this is a 152 amp hour batteries. So, we've got two batteries, one right here, one right here, and one in the rear under the seat. That's 112 amp hours. These two are 20 amp hours.
We've also got two 750 W motors, one in the front, one in the rear. And I actually can control when we're using single motor or double motor. Um, and we've got four hydraulic disc brakes.
Drives really safe, really easy, a lot of fun. You can see also we got two seat belts back here. So, we'll have plenty of room for my two other kids. And, um, we're all set to go. You ready, Huts?
>> Okay, cool.
Let's do this.
All right. So, you're going to see on our ride, number one, how easy it is to steer. But then I'll al also how maneuverable it is because we have to cut through some pretty uh tight areas here to to get to the school the easiest route. So Oh, don't get killed, Lisa. All right.
So, yeah, this steers really easy. You can see I can go one-handed, no problem.
And of course, this comfortable riding position.
And we do have turn signals as well.
So, I'll go ahead and turn my turn signal on here.
And we have turn signals in the front and the rear. I don't know if you can see the turn signal back there.
All right, here we go. And I got my mirrors here, of course. Can see the top of Hudson's head.
You good? Let's see.
And again cornering super stable, easy.
And I am running dual motor right now.
Oh, let me get into pedal assist 5.
There we go. There we go.
What?
Oh, blinker on. Okay, let's turn our blinker off. Now, these are not like a car. You do have to turn them off.
So, you can get going up to 28 miles an hour on this in pedal assist and 20 obviously with throttle to keep it street legal. So, here's one of these instances. I'm going to show you how we have to cut through. And this is very maneuverable.
And we're through. And again, we got some of these yellow barriers to contest with. No problem.
And then right here, we got to go on the sidewalk and then come down.
And again, stability is just no issue whatsoever.
And you're going to see me actually probably accelerate faster than our camera person because I've got a faster rig than she does.
All right.
Make sure to stop at all stop signs.
Obey the laws.
How is it, Huts?
Now, just like driving a U-Haul, this may take some getting used to.
What's that? Oh.
>> Oh, actually, yeah. Here, Lisa. Come over here.
How do we compare to this?
Actually, a little longer.
backed up a little bit.
>> Oh, okay. Oh, well.
>> Sure, she can. Yeah, >> I can pick you up with the bike, too.
You want me to do that?
Now you can see I don't really have to pedal. We have so much power in the throttle and we're a a little bit of ahead of the school pickup schedule here. So we can take our time.
Look both ways. We're good.
All right. We don't have much room there. I'm going to pull right here.
Okay, this is going to be a real tight corner here.
Just got to take it nice and wide.
No problemmo.
>> Two. Yeah.
>> Yeah.
Off-roading, no problem.
Little bumpy.
Hang on.
You were.
>> That's okay.
>> Okay, we're going to wait for this car to go.
>> Actually, I have an idea. I think I know what we're going to do. We're just going to circle through here.
We're going to follow the street procedures, put my blinker on, and we'll see how many people look at us and want to buy one.
All right, here we go.
Let's pick up the pace now that we're in the street.
You can see we're up to about 20 pretty quickly. 20 over 20.
All right.
Hurry up, Trey. There's a car.
>> Try it next to Amanda.
>> Yes. No, Trey, you're fine, dude. Dad, we made an adobe brick.
>> Oh, cool. Here, give me your backpack.
>> What's that?
>> So fun.
>> We got Dad, we got headsets like at like the Paris >> so you could listen to it.
>> You're so old.
>> Can you put your backpack up there?
>> Stop. No, it's not.
>> Trey, you're going to sit with Hudson.
>> Where should I put my backpack?
>> Can you put it in between you guys? Is there room?
>> I want to sit in the front.
>> No, no, you have to sit with Hudson.
>> You have to. Please. Here. Hut. Scoot over. Huts. Hudson. Scoot over.
>> I need to smile.
>> Dad, why do I have to?
>> Because I told you.
>> We're making a video here showing everyone how we can pick up multiple passengers.
>> Yeah.
>> And everyone gets compensated with one Pokemon pack.
>> Yeah. If they stay on the whole time, they get >> Yeah.
Can I make a video? Can I >> Trey? Sit in the seat. What are you doing?
>> No, he's not. He's not even touching.
>> Trey, you're fine.
>> When I make a video, >> helmet's on.
>> Hey, look at us.
>> Trey, put your helmet on, dude.
Okay. We ready?
>> Oh, we are.
>> Yeah.
>> Put your helmet on, dude.
Go now >> because everyone looks >> wave to the crowd.
>> Dylan Guyger here.
Dylan Guyger.
>> Dylan Guyger on the back here.
Oh, there's our neighbors.
>> Hi guys.
>> Oh, who?
>> Who? Who is it?
>> Oh, hold on tight back there.
He'll probably like you even more.
>> Go ahead, dude.
We're in the clear. Are you cool now?
>> Thanks.
>> Why is it cool? It's not cool. Dylan Guyger here.
>> No, I'm just a regular person.
>> Fourth grader. All crushes welcome.
>> No.
I'm not letting him get in front.
>> Who's that? Little buddy.
>> Buddy.
>> Dylan Guyger here.
>> No.
Is he?
>> Yes.
>> Hey, Dylan. Desk partner.
They all dropped off.
>> All right. So, we got four passengers got out of the school zone.
Everyone comfortable?
>> The game is gone. The gang has dissipated.
>> Is he?
>> Oh, there's more.
>> My little buddy.
>> Should we honk at these guys?
>> Is that Rome?
No.
>> Oh, okay.
Here we go. All right. We got a little bit of a hill to contend with on the way back. What?
Wash it.
All four. Five of us riding comfortably.
Now we got a big hill to contend with up here.
>> Up here?
>> Yeah. The hill to our house.
>> Are you okay? You got it?
>> We're going to find out.
This is true.
>> Leave the driving to me. All right, here we go.
Okay, this is going to be a challenge.
>> Jeez, still Okay, so far so good.
>> It's getting steeper as we go up.
>> Now, again, this is decent little grade here.
We're going.
>> We're going.
I'm going to make it.
Yep. We're about to do it.
>> Can do it.
>> I can relax now.
>> Now again, that's no >> like over 400 lb.
>> More >> 5,000.
>> Over 500.
Okay.
Yes, we did it.
Okay, thanks for riding.
So, we did it up a big hill >> with five passengers.
Trey's out of here. You guys can get off.
>> I got to go.
>> Thanks for riding.
>> Yeah. Thanks for riding, guys.
