The modernization of naval warships involves comprehensive upgrades to electronics, weapons systems, and propulsion, enabling older vessels to remain combat-effective; Russia's Admiral Nakhimov battlecruiser, launched in 1988 and declared obsolete after 5 years due to outdated electronics, underwent a 20-year modernization process that replaced its nuclear installation and installed new weapons systems, increasing its anti-ship missile capacity from 20 to 80 missiles and adding capabilities against drones and cruise missiles. Similarly, hypersonic missile technology like Russia's ZIRCON, which remains unsurpassed globally as of 2026, has been adapted across multiple platforms including nuclear submarines, frigates, and fighter jets, demonstrating how advanced missile systems can be integrated into diverse military platforms to create layered defense and strike capabilities.

It's a Pure VICTORY: Russia introduced the World's most Powerful Carrier of ZIRCON missilesAdded:
my Dear truth seekers, those of you who regularly watch all my videos are well aware that in August 2025, Russia completed the repair and deep modernization of the heavy nuclearpowered battle cruiser Admiral Nakamov of Project 11442 Morland. This nuclearpowered surface warship is considered to be the largest and most powerful in the world. It is noteworthy that immediately after Russian engineers completed a deep modernization of this battle cruiser, the Russian Defense Ministry took this Sea Giant out to the White Sea for factory trials.
My dear friends, let me remind you that this unique battle cruiser was launched in 1988.
However, after 5 years, even despite its huge size and firepower, this battle cruiser was declared obsolete. This was mainly because Admiral Nakamov lacked modern electronics, as a result of which this giant warship was unable to detect and shoot down low-flying anti-hship missiles. In 1995, Russian engineers conducted a thorough review of Admiral Nakamov and reported on the need to begin a deep modernization of this warship. At the same time, they stressed that the modernization of this battle cruiser will be very complex and extensive. Back then, they admitted that everything on this warship needs to be replaced from the electrical wiring to the nuclear installation.
Unfortunately, in 1995, due to the country's difficult economic situation, the Russian military had to abandon the modernization of this unique battle cruiser. Unfortunately, back then, the Russian government failed to secure funding for the project. And it was only after Vladimir Putin came to power in 1999 that the nuclearpowered battle cruiser Admiral Nakamov finally got up for repairs. However, the process of repairing and modernizing this warship turned out to be so complicated and expensive that Russian engineers had to wait almost 20 years before starting full-scale work on this project. Only in 2020, Russia officially announced the start of the repair and modernization of the nuclearpowered battle cruiser Admiral Nakamov.
At the same time, Russian engineers refused to announce the exact date of the ship's transfer to the Russian Navy.
However, already four years later, in December 2024, Russia officially announced that the nuclearpowered battle cruiser Admiral Nakamov had received the latest nuclear installation, which was successfully launched, giving this sea giant a second life. All this indicated that the Russian engineers had brilliantly coped with the task. They not only upgraded this unique battle cruiser, but also gave it a new generation nuclear power plant. As a result, in August 2025, Admiral Nakamov went to the White Sea on factory sea trials. This is the last stage before this unique warship is officially handed over to the Russian Navy. And only now, 9 months later, it became known that during factory sea trials, Admiral Nakamov demonstrated superior results.
Furthermore, a few days ago, the new combat capabilities of this giant warship were revealed, which have already shocked Russia's rivals. As it turned out, during the modernization, Russian engineers paid close attention to defending this battle cruiser against new types of threats. In particular, we are talking about maritime and aerial drones as well as cruise missiles.
Sources in the Russian Defense Ministry have confirmed that the upgraded nuclearpowered battle cruiser Admiral Nakamov has received six new generation Panserm anti-aircraft missile and gun systems, the latest universal artillery system AK-130, 96 anti-aircraft missile silos, modern radar stations, combat and reconnaissance helicopters, as well as its own maritime and aerial drones. As for anti-ubmarine weapon systems, the upgraded Russian battle cruiser received the latest complex payit and a modernized system outfit capable of detecting and destroying even the most modern submarines of NATO countries, including the United States.
However, during the modernization of the Admiral Nakamov, the most important achievement of Russian engineers was the installation of launchers on this warship for cruise missiles such as Caliber and Onyx. And even for the latest Zirkcon hypersonic missiles, how Russian engineers managed to do this remains a mystery. My dear truth seekers, let me remind you that before modernization, the Admiral Nakamov could carry only 20 anti-hship missiles.
However, now after the titanic work of Russian engineers, this battle cruiser received the opportunity to carry 80 anti-hship missiles which became an absolute world record. All this has already turned the Admiral Nakamov into the world's most heavily armed warship.
However, you must understand that even though the Admiral Nakamov is the world's most powerful warship, it cannot single-handedly change the global balance of power. In this regard, Russia has prepared another shocking surprise for all its enemies.
As of 2026, the Russian hypersonic missile Zirkcon still remains unsurpassed in its tactical and technical characteristics.
So far, no country in the world has been able to create a missile that could match the Russian Zirkcon. This hypersonic missile allows Russia to deliver a crushing blow to the enemy, including with the use of a nuclear warhead at a range exceeding 1,000 km.
However, many of you did not notice that starting in January 2023, right after Zirkcon was adopted by the Russian army, this hypersonic missile began to rapidly fill all the niches of the Russian armed forces. We are even talking about those niches that previously seemed not designed for this hypersonic missile.
For example, in the spring of 2025, Russia launched the fourth serial nuclear submarine perm of the Yazanm project. This latest nuclear submarine became the first carrier of Zirkcon hypersonic missiles. Later, all submarines of this project also received Zirkcon hypersonic missiles. Thus, the total hypothetical salvo of these submarines can amount to 198 Zirkcon hypersonic missiles, each of which is capable of carrying a powerful nuclear warhead. However, the bad news for Russia's enemies did not end there. As it turned out, the Russian anti-uclear submarines and frigots of the project 22350 also received the latest Zirkcon hypersonic missiles. My dear truth seekers, against this backdrop, I would like to draw your attention to one very interesting fact. The fact is that the newest Russian frigot Admiral Omelo of project 22350 unlike its predecessors received not 16 but 32 universal missile launchers. My friends, now you can easily imagine what kind of hypersonic threat to NATO only one Russian fleet poses. But that's not all. Even though Zirkcon was originally designed as a sea-based weapon, everything that happens indicates that this hypersonic missile continues to evolve rapidly. In particular, it has been revealed that Russian engineers have created specialized groundbased systems designed to launch Zirkcon hypersonic missiles from land. On the night of May 24th, during a massive missile strike on Kiev, Russia for the first time attacked the Ukrainian capital with Zirkcon hypersonic missiles launched from the Kursk region using special groundbased complexes.
Moreover, Russian engineers have also managed to adapt Zirkcon hypersonic missiles for the fifth generation SU57 fighter jets.
Undoubtedly, all this is excellent news demonstrating the extensive capabilities of the Russian army. However, this news has one hidden subtext. The fact is that if Russia begins to massively introduce new types of weapons and actively use them not only during military exercises but also in real combat conditions, this means only one thing. Russian engineers have begun work on creating even more advanced weapons. Furthermore, everything that is happening indicates that Russian engineers are already at the final stage of creating this weapon.
And there is a lot of evidence for this.
The fact is that in the summer of 2025 during a meeting with Vladimir Putin, an authoritative Russian scientist in the field of physics of semiconductor instruments, Gennady Krasnikov, officially declared that Russia had achieved outstanding results in hypersonic technologies.
Gennady Krasnikov confirmed that Russian scientists continue to study and develop hypersonic technologies for the country's defense and security. Thus, it becomes clear that a new hypersonic missile, even more advanced and deadly than Zirkcon, will be put into service with the Russian army very soon. And I assure you, my dear truth seekers, as soon as information about this latest missile becomes available, I will do everything to ensure that you become the first to know about it.
