All NEW Movements in Gears of War E-Day!

[00:00:00]There are an incredible amount of new mechanics coming to Gears of War E-Day, so let's try to go over all the new ones. The one that seems to be the most divisive thus far in the community is players will now be able to slide. It does look like you need to run first and get some momentum before you do so, but you'll be able to slide normally, slide under things, and slide into cover.

[00:00:21]Players will also have choices for ground cover where the player lays down and can slowly scoot over. Next, for the first time ever, Gears will be able to jump. It looks like the main use will be to jump over gaps to gain flank potentials. Paired with jumping, we have the ability to climb tall cover as seen when Marcus scales this shelf in this freezer section. Boomers now have the ability to knock you backwards if you get too close, and drones can tackle you to the ground to beat your ass, but you can be saved by others if they shoot the enemy or walk up to it and initiate a takedown. Reapers are able to scale walls now instead of remaining grounded until their death. Back to Boomers, there will now be an option to chainsaw them if you dwindle down their health enough. Finally, weapon executions are seen being used on enemies that are not in DBNO, but it's not stated how these are initiated. I cannot wait for the open beta to come August so that we can finally try out all these new changes for ourselves.
