I Was Stabbed. Here’s What I Think About the Henry Nowak Case.

[00:00:00]So, 20 years ago, I got stabbed in Guildford in Surrey.

[00:00:06]I was with three of my mates. We were going to a nightclub.

[00:00:09]Um I said one thing to a guy that was passing us with his girlfriend.

[00:00:14]He turned around as if he wanted to fight us.

[00:00:17]Um he came in, went low, which was a bit strange. Um looking back on it, obviously.

[00:00:25]Um he stabbed me on my side, on my back.

[00:00:29]Didn't get any organs. Um he ran away. [music] His girlfriend was crying. Didn't realize until later that was why she was crying, because he said he was obviously going to stab me.

[00:00:40]Um so, it's all sort of having a lot of uh rings with me with Henry Novak.

[00:00:49]Um I didn't go to hospital. I didn't go to the police.

[00:00:52]It wasn't [clears throat] bad enough.

[00:00:54]Well, at least I didn't think it was bad enough. So, we actually used gaffer tape to uh heal my wounds. I could put up a key screenshot of the scars I've got.

[00:01:05]I don't have [music] any stitch marks, obviously, cuz I put gaffer tape on it.

[00:01:08]Um but yeah, it was pretty pretty serious looking back on it.

[00:01:13]But it just made me think about Henry Novak.

[00:01:18]I watched the video this morning. I didn't want to watch it.

[00:01:21]I thought twice about watching it. I've got a 17-year-old son, well, 16 and a half, nearly 17.

[00:01:29]I didn't want to watch it.

[00:01:30]Um I did watch it.

[00:01:34]And it brought tears to my eyes.

[00:01:39]And even now, talking about it, seeing that young lad being arrested [music] and the officer saying, when Henry said, "I've been stabbed."

[00:01:53][music] He said, "What did he say?"

[00:01:58]Don't think [music] you have, mate.

[00:02:04]Police officers [music] are supposed to be impartial.

[00:02:08]If you're a police officer and someone says [music] you've been stabbed, don't just dismiss it. Check.

[00:02:17]The only thing he was guilty of was asking the guy if he he was [music] allowed to carry a knife with his belt on a knife on his belt.

[00:02:32]So, he attacked [music] him.

[00:02:34]Realized what he did, his brother phoned the police, gaslit the police, said it was a racial attack. The police turned up preloaded, predetermined conclusions.

[00:02:47]>> [snorts] >> Arrested him. He died in handcuffs.

[00:02:58]The whole thing stinks. I know
