[00:00:00]Today we're fishing inside of Disney World on a lake right in front of the Magic Kingdom.

[00:00:08]>> We've been coming here for years and every time I look out at these lakes, I ask myself, man, there's got to be some good fishing in there.

[00:00:16]>> Dad, if there's another bass full of them up.

[00:00:18]>> So, today we finally got access and we're putting it to the test.

[00:00:24]>> Oh, just little kiss.

[00:00:27]>> We gave ourselves a challenge. We've got 2 hours to catch 20 fish. Let's see if we can pull it off.

[00:00:44]>> So, what's the name of this lake? Bay Lake.

[00:00:46]>> This is Bay and has seven seas.

[00:00:49]>> Is this a man-made lake?

[00:00:51]>> This is a natural one. That's the That's the main >> Okay.

[00:00:54]>> Yeah. So this lake here um has three holes in it over uh 26 ft.

[00:01:01]Seven seas is probably you know 5 to 16 ft that one and the two legs combined are 593 acres. Wow.

[00:01:11]>> Is this a stocked leg? Don't need to >> for catch and release.

[00:01:15]>> Yeah. So we're here on location number one at Bay Lake right here at Magic Kingdom and we have a couple very popular hotels. is the Montreal system right over there, Space Mountain. And at night, that's where all the fireworks go off. Now, this is only a 2hour fishing tour that you can uh book here at Disney. And surprisingly, it wasn't too expensive. It's $275.

[00:01:37]They supply all the rods, the reels, the shiners, and you can fish artificial if you want. But we're going to hit this first location for probably like 30 to 40 minutes, and he's going to take us to another location, maybe a few different locations. And the fun part about it is you get to fish, but you also get a little bit of a tour. This gentleman here has been working with Disney for almost 30 years. So, lots of knowledge if this is something that you're into added with a little bit of fishing. Now, a few goals for us today is my wife has never caught a fish and my brother-in-law is on the boat with us.

[00:02:07]He's never caught a fish. So, we're hoping we can get him hooked up and maybe Slater and Morgan can get their first fish as well.

[00:06:26]crappie, bluegill, tilapia, Florida gar, bow, fin, catfish, >> occasional turtle or bird.

[00:06:36]>> The sign up by the dock says bass, bluegill, catfish, and sunfish. And I knew there was more than that out here.

[00:06:43]So, I knew there had to be gar and other things. I've looked at this lake from the Montreal so many times and just thought to myself, wonder if there's any big ones out there. And today, we're finding out.

[00:09:36]>> He got about five. He did really, really good. So, I know I've only gotten one, but I'm just enjoying being out here. It was supposed to get a lot of rain. It rained a little bit at the beginning, but it's beautiful. But I may have said earlier, for years, for years I've been looking at all these lakes at Disney and coming here and I'm always thinking, if you're a fisherman, you're thinking, I wonder if there's any big ones in there.

[00:09:56]Biggest today is probably two and a half so far, but we'll see. I think we're going to get a bigger one. Let's go. So, Slater's been getting up pretty early in the mornings, and I actually took him out this morning. He actually touched his first bass this morning. He was pretty excited, too. We tried to get her to kiss it, but she just wasn't interested in it. On to location number three. This may be our last one. I'm pleased with the quantity of fish we're getting. Not so much the size. We're looking for a bigger one. I think 2 and 1/2 is the biggest right now. So, if we can land a a five a 5 pounder, oh man, we'd be so stoked for that. But this may be our last stop. We got a lot of rain. Look at this storm on the horizon. So, wish us luck.
