[00:00:52]So this comes from James Wellen or Waylon and [clears throat] he says hey Pete I've been watching your videos for a couple of years thank you. You've helped make delivering for Grubhub less of a pain in the ass lol I'm glad to hear that.

[00:01:06]I've picked up three orders recently at a small restaurant that's pretty popular. Usually $10 or more but I noticed on the receipt they are charging a DoorDash fee on every order. This is strange. He said I only deliver with Grubhub will you look at the receipt and see if I'm right and if so should I tell Grubhub thanks for all the help James Waylon. Now he posted three screenshots but they were all like the same thing and sure enough it says DoorDash 8% $8 or you know DoorDash 8% not $8 and it says $3.20 and there it is right there.

[00:01:46]Right under the subtotal DoorDash 8% fee.

[00:01:52]Dude what is that about man like and he had three of this and it look and you could even see it's Grubhub because it says the guy's name. It says Robbie N Grubhub on the top right there. You see that?

[00:02:06]All right. So, that right there, and this was on three different receipts for three different Grubhub orders. Now, should you tell Grubhub? That's up to you. Okay, I'm not going to say go snitch on the restaurant or whatever. I'm not going to tell you to go do that. That's completely up to you.

[00:02:25]But, where I'm confused here is are [clears throat] they charging a Grubhub customer the DoorDash fee on top of the other fees?

[00:02:36]Because if that's the case, dude, that is some serious crap. And the only reason why I can think of a restaurant doing that is because of them losing a lot of money. You know what I mean?

[00:02:47]Where, you know, I guess, you know, as the pandemic, you know, was winding down, people started going out more, not ordering as much. So, maybe they were trying to make up the money and hoping nobody would see it. But, that's messed up, dude. I'm telling you. I'm not That's not cool. So, drivers, dashers, what What do you think is going on here? Do you think that these people are actually getting charged a Grubhub fee and a DoorDash fee on top of from the restaurant?
