My honest thoughts on the Mandolorian & Grogu movie

[00:00:00]Is this the worst Star Wars movie ever?

[00:00:02]Well, possibly. Of course, I'm talking about The Mandalorian and Grogu, or a weird film. So, I understand what The Mandalorian's about. I get I get it.

[00:00:11]I've never seen a film where it has two acts of three parts. It felt like I was watching two episodes of the TV show back-to-back. And the problem I have with The Mandalorian and why I don't think this technically works is The Mandalorian and Grogu. Grogu is a baby, doesn't talk. The Mandalorian is not a baby, but he also doesn't talk. So, the film relies on everyone around them to talk. It's very hard for their dialogue to carry the narrative. I mean, if I had £1 for every time that Jabba the Hutt's son said that he was Jabba the Hutt's son, I could probably buy popcorn at the cinema. Guess how much it costs now. It's £8.50. £8.50 for for a medium popcorn. A medium. It didn't feel like a Star Wars movie. You know, I've I'm personally a massive fan of Star Wars growing up. And it's a shame. I feel like they had a really good opportunity to do something, and then it felt like it's just two episodes of The Mandalorian. So, I'm sure some people absolutely loved it.

[00:00:58]Cinematography great, sound design always amazing. And pacing the film was weird. There's like a 20-minute montage of Grogu stealing fish. And that's not a spoiler. I don't think that's a spoiler.

[00:01:07]I mean, one thing I will say though, one thing I love love about this film is that the fact that Grogu is a puppet. I think that's the best thing best decision they made. And then for that alone, that's that's magical for me. So,
