When corporate leaders destroy evidence during legal proceedings, courts can impose sanctions that shift the burden of proof, requiring the accused to prove their innocence with clear and convincing evidence rather than the accuser proving their claims.

Vince McMahon is in TROUBLE AGAIN!Added:
Vince McMahon, YOU'RE FINE.
SO, Vince McMahon is in trouble again.
Oh boy. Vince McMahon and the Nickcon have been sanctioned after a judge ruled they acted recklessly by using the Signal app to destroy evidence.
WWE shareholders are suing a group of board members that include McMahon and Khan in relation to the company's acquisition by the Endeavor Agency. The shareholders alleged that McMahon pushed the sale in Endeavor's favor because he would end up with a role in the new company post merger and ignored other potential suitors that would benefit them. According to the new legal document filing, the presiding judge has ruled that McMahon and Khan acted recklessly by using Signal to automatically delete messages which would have been used as evidence in the case. My my my.
Most civil lawsuits make the accusing party prove its claims. However, due to the sanctions, the judge ruled that the defense team must prove the following presumed facts are not true with clear and convincing evidence. So, they're going to give me some bullet points here, but as you can see, with them deleting signal their signal messages, that that's that's going to be a problem.
All right, bullet point one. Emanuel's promise to provide Vince with a continued role at any post merger company after a transaction influenced Vince's decision making uh decision making with respect to the merger. two, Emanuel's offer of uh identification and other legal support related to pending federal investigators of Vince's alleged misconduct influenced Vince's decision-making with respect to the merger. Next, Vince decided to pursue a transaction with Endeavor in 2022 before the company initiated the strategic review process. Next, Khan communicated with Emanuel between August and December 22nd to facilitate a transaction between WWE and Endeavor. And lastly, Vince and Khan worked with um Rain, which is an advertisement firm, to steer the process toward the deal with Endeavor and away from other potential biders.
So, I assume that they assumed that nothing like this would happen or come up later if they were deleting messages like that.
Or maybe they just wanted to keep everything super confidential in between them.
I didn't know that Signal had that.
I have to look at the options. Vince Khan, Paul, uh oh, George Barios, and Michelle Wil Wilson are all listed at def as defendants in the case, which is scheduled to begin June 8th.
WWE and TKO are not defendants in the lawsuit. McMahon, Commanie McMahon, and former WWE executive Brad Blum are listed as the group of people who use Signal.
All right.
Well, I tell you, he can't stay out of no He can't stay out of trouble, can he? My god, man. Let that be a lesson to you guys, man. become a billionaire.
Stay out of trouble.
Sometimes I hear about some of these lawsuits of these companies go like you don't even know nothing about it. Like they're constantly going through these crazy lawsuits, man, because of stuff.
