New Hermes MCP Agent Update is INSANE (FREE!)追加:
Hermes' agent just dropped a free MCP update that makes it way more powerful than ever before. They built an MCP catalog directly into Hermes and it changes everything about how your AI agent connects to your tools. Right now, most people are still manually editing config files, hunting around for API keys, spending like 30 minutes just to wire up a single tool. That era is over, my friend. With this free update, you can connect Hermes to tools like n8n, linear, and GitHub in literally 30 seconds with one click, which means everything is handled for you, our office handled for you, everything is done. I'm going to show you exactly how to set this up, plus one thing you absolutely have to do after you install it to make sure Hermes' agent can actually use all these tools the right way. Stick with me till the end and your Hermes' agent is going to be way more powerful than 99% of people running it right now. Let's get into it. So, you can see the announcement from Hermes' agent on the MCP catalog. You might be wondering what that means. Basically, you can now one-click install news approved MCPs, which makes it way easier to connect Hermes' agent for free with other tools using this powerful system.
Now, you can see here that it's quite technical. There's a really easy way to use this in a non-technical way, which I'll show you in a second. And today, I'm going to guide you through this something I call the Goldie MCP hub framework. Um the one thing I'll say here is that wiring MCPs into Hermes normally is a nightmare, right? You'd have to hand-edit the config, you'd have to guess at the exact command for each server, you'd have to hunt for API keys for your setup, and that takes time in itself. And then, it can take like an hour just to connect one simple tool to your AI agent. This changes everything.
What you can actually do now is you can wire this into your setup. So, you can see here, for example, we've actually added MCPs into the agent operating system. So, we've added the Hermes catalog, and then it's super easy to add new custom MCPs into the system, as you can see here. So, anything that we want to connect Hermes to, we can do it like so. So, for example, if we want to connect NA10, we can just one-click install it like so. Really simple and easy. Anything custom, we can just add custom MCPs over here. What does that mean? Well, essentially, for example, like if we look at something like Notebook LM, right? The reason that I can control Notebook LM and automate podcasts and videos and infographics using Notebook LM and Hermes Agent for free is because we have an MCP set up between them. How do you set up the MCP? Well, the old way was really technical, lots of different commands. The new way is you can just add the setup like so. So, in the next 10 minutes, I'm going to show you exactly how the new MCP catalog works, how I wired it into Hermes. But, if you're watching this, promise yourself one thing. You're actually going to watch this and get it set up. be for one MCP, it could be for NA10, GitHub, whatever fits your workflows. Because the moment you make this transition, your whole tool stack stops being scattered across separate apps and starts being orchestrated by Hermes. So, let's talk about the Goldie MCP hub setup. And these are five layers that turn the new Hermes catalog into a dashboard-native superpower. And each layer is a way that you can wire in MCPs to make your Hermes Agent 10 times more powerful. So, the first setup is the new catalog, right? So, News Approved means that News Research have approved certain MCPs to connect to your AI Agent. Why is that? It's because not all MCPs are legitimate, not all of them work smoothly, and that's why this is only for Hermes-approved MCPs. So, a really good example of this is with NA10. You can link NA10 to Hermes Agent, and it can build out workflows for you.
Now, there's also two ways to get like an interactive install UI. You could build out a dashboard like this. I actually have one ready-made inside the whenever we want. The other option is that you can go into your terminal inside Hermes like so, and you can run Hermes MCP like this, and And you can select from the MCP catalog. But what this means essentially is like you're not hand editing the config anymore, which was super annoying to set up before. Now, layer number three is probe, right? So, this auto discovers tools. So, what it can actually do is it can figure out, okay, what Hermes MCPs are already set up inside the installed section, and you can list every tool that's set up, right? Now, the other cool thing about this is that API keys get written into the environment set up locally with Hermes when you use this system, which handles the OAuth logins for you. And then the final setup that I have is the hub itself. So, all of this MCP update that's just been released from Hermes, we plugged it into the agent operating system, just so it's super easy to build and use, right? You can build your own agent dashboard, but basically this means you you stop using the terminal, and you can just see everything that you've built, created, linked, etc. inside one place, right?
And if you, for example, set up any workflows, for example, like we've created a SEO workflow here, we've created an AI video agent inside Hermes, we can view it all in a beautiful UI like that, which I think is 10 times better. So, what does that actually mean? Well, the old way, if you're using like hand-managed MCPs, basically, you're looking at like 30 minutes to install something, because you have to open up the MCP service GitHub, copy the install command, hand edit the config, get the API keys, follow the OAuth flow if required, restart Hermes, test, debug, and repeat. And then to disable a tool as well, then you'd have to go back through the whole process just to disable it. A lot of work, you know? And that means you could spend like hours just setting up one MCP server. Now, it's like 30 seconds per install. You just open up the Hermes MCP command in your terminal, or you can build it into an agent operating system. And with this whole setup, it makes it 10 times easier to add custom MCPs as well, right? So, we can switch between HTTP, we can plug in the preset here, put in the name of the MCP, and then we're good to go. Now, you also might wonder, okay, why have Hermes created the News Approved Catalog? Well, basically, you stop guessing which MCPs are safe to install.
The catalog is actually inside the optional MCP section of GitHub for Hermes Agent, which means it's been reviewed by their team and they're one of the biggest AI labs in the world and one of the most respected. And what you get is basically a vetted short list of MCPs you can install with confidence.
And then also a big part of this is the one-click install, so you stop spending 30 minutes setting up an MCP. And if you're using the terminal, you can just run Hermes, for example, MCP install NA10 and get it set up, right? Or if you're using Agent operating system, you can just click a button and get it installed, right? Which means that you can set things up in like 30 seconds, not 30 minutes. And also the cool thing about this is this is all free, right?
Hermes is free, you can plug in a free API into it, the MCP catalog is free, and you can build out a dashboard for free yourself if you wanted to. Um the other cool thing here as well is like you can see between your custom MCPs and what you've installed directly. And then let's say for example you wanted to install NA10, it's already set up and ready to go, you just plug in your API key, shows you exactly where to get it, and then you get to go. Which allows you to plug Hermes into basically anything, right? Now, uh some people would say, "Well, MCPs are only for developers."
That was true before the catalog, that's a fair point, but now the install is one click, the credentials are prompted, OAuth is handled for you, so you don't need to know the technical stuff about this. If you can pick a row in a list and click install, you can wire in an MCP into your Hermes Agent. Other people say, "Well, I don't need MCPs, Hermes can already do everything." Hermes is great, but you'll hit the moment when you want to connect it to something else, right? So for example, your NA10 workflows or your GitHub. And that's the moment when MCPs stop being optional. So MCPs are how Hermes can reach everything outside Hermes. And also bear in mind like you can create an MCP for Hermes itself and then connect that to your other AI agents. That's how for example you can get Claude to control Hermes Agent directly. So every new MCP is a new service Hermes can act on. The catalog now makes onboarding new services a 30-second job instead of a 30-minute one. Other people will say, "Well, you know, I'll wait until the catalog has more entries because right now it's limited with any 10 linear GitHub, but there's a lot more coming and also it's more about the quality of the MCPs and making sure you have an easy way to install them. I've people say what it's hard to set up an agent operating system. We're actually seeing loads of people inside the AR Profit Bot and set this up and they're just getting awesome results. So something I definitely recommend for you, right? So many great people getting great results with this sort of stuff. So just to recap, you learned how to stop setting up MCPs manually, you stop guessing, you don't have to mess around with technical documentation. You don't need to even with the terminal because you can set up an agent operating system and you can start orchestrating. Now if you want to get the full MCP hub built into an agent operating system that's already ready to go for you, my agent operating system dashboard panel is built inside the AR Profit Bot. And you get the full setup, the install, the calls for coaching each week, and the community already have this running every day. We actually just updated this again today and you get the video tutorial, the zip file with setup, the agent operating system. You get the full workspace where you can see everything that you've built. You can chat to Hermes directly, even use goal mode, connect your MCPs. And we've even built in an AI video agent as you can see right here. So it's all inside the AR Profit Bot. And plus you can connect with me personally inside there. If you ask questions inside the community, I create daily video tutorials for people to help you as much as I can. You can get access to all my best trainings like you can see. We have four weekly coaching calls where you can share your screen, ask questions about your setup, etc. And you can connect with people in your local city who are using AR automation just like you. So feel free to get that link in the comments and description or just go to the arprofitbot.com to get access. Thanks for watching.
