Clear, dry and cooler overnight Monday into Tuesday | WTOL 11 WeatherHinzugefügt:
I certainly hope you enjoyed the sunshine over the course of the weekend or if it was by night, the light of the full moon that rounded out the month of May. Now, looking forward to our forecast into early June. Smooth sailing the next couple of days. A little bit of a lake breeze, but this time of the year, it's more of a refreshing lake breeze. Highs to the mid70s, a little cooler than that near the lake shore as we go through the afternoon hours tomorrow. Great look at conditions across all of northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. A little bit more high, thin cloud cover from the Anthony Wayne Trail. We're looking at some of that outbound traffic down there toward the Toledo Zoo. A little heavier as we head into the peak of our rush hour for our Monday evening. We are in the 70s areawide. We've got 70s across the board. Adrian, though, standing out now hitting 80° for the afternoon. 76 for Finley, 73 Fremont, a little cooler.
Port Clinton right at 70°. Tonight, we're going to drop back into the 50s.
Lows going to be right around the lower 50s. season is you head out the door 8 a.m. right around the mid50s. Highs through the afternoon, mid70s going to be very uniform across much of the area.
Hint of a cooler lake breeze. So if you're out there Sandusky to Port Clinton, could be upper 60s, low 70s.
Then highs headed back toward 80° as we get into Wednesday afternoon. Right around 80 for the daytime high. UV index, keep a close eye on this one.
Could be some of the highest values we've had so far this season. We're going to put that level 8 to nine, which is a very high index. What that means for you is if you're out there toward the peak uh hours of uh the solar radiation, 10:00 a.m. to 400 p.m. could be a sunburn as little as 20 to 30 minutes. And beyond that, the humidity levels are going to be begin to creep up, but not until late week. This is more so Thursday night into Friday and into the weekend. High pressure move to the south and east, opens up the flow out of the Gulf, and get ready for more humid weather by the upcoming weekend.
That's an early heads up for that. We have dry, sunny weather the next couple of days. That's really the big story.
Sunshine will continue with high pressure in control. It'll take a while before that high pressure sinks to our south and east. And once it does so, that's where the humidity levels open back up. Clearing skies tonight, 52 for the overnight low. Highs on Tuesday, mid70s. It'll be returning to a bright, sunny day. Great day to be out on Lake Erie. And for what I've heard, the fishing reports have been outstanding on Lake Erie. Highs in the 70s, light east wind will put waves 1 to three feet.
We're in the mid70s for Tuesday, back close to 80 on Wednesday. Low to mid 80s on Thursday. And there's where the humidity levels crank back up, mid to upper 80s on Friday. We expect we will stay dry through the end of the work week. The humidity levels do bring the chance of showers and storms back for the upcoming weekend. Low 80s Saturday and Sunday. That rain chance may lead to some scattered showers and storms continuing into early next week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, those are your typical popup afternoon storms that will bring that chance of rain back by the upcoming weekend.
>> You've talked about it that either the faucet is on or it's off.
>> It's been a switch either way, right?
There's no middle grounds on this one.
We did end meteorological spring. Top five wetest springs on record, just over 14 in. So, this little break, not a bad thing. Saw a lot of our area farmers, they were busy in the fields this weekend. By the time we get to the weekend ahead, everything should be planted. Let's open that spot back up.
>> All right, sounds good. We'll see if we can do
