"They see everything" - The Terrifying Reality of China's AI Surveillance

[00:00:00]Okay, this is pretty bad. The world will move towards an AI civilian state.

[00:00:06]I think it's pretty obvious. Yeah. What does that mean in reality for the average person? Because you know, we're seeing some of these big companies like OpenAI and Anthropical sort of signing up to government um military surveillance projects.

[00:00:20]What does that mean for the average person? Right. So, for the average person, it means two things. It means digital ID and digital currency.

[00:00:26]Okay. So, what that what that will allow is for the government to basically monitor everything you do online and control all financial transactions. It It can basically program your bank account. So, like you can't buy cigarettes.

[00:00:40]Or you can't buy drugs. Um and this will allow the government to basically um categorize everyone and put everyone into a certain database to monitor that person. And once you have Once you're able to categorize everyone, you're allowed Then you're you are able to use AI to predict your behavior. Isn't this what goes on in some parts of the world? This is what goes on in China.

[00:01:08]Well, in China, we all have digital ID.

[00:01:11]If you want to access anything in China, you need your digital ID. So, you want to open a bank account, you have to you have to use um a digital ID. If you want to use any uh e-payments, you have to use digital ID. If you want to use a phone, you have to use digital ID, okay? So, everyone's part of this national database.

[00:01:31]And then this what this allows government to do is basically monitor everything you do. Because basically, depending on how you buy things, I can then extrapolate to figure out your behavior.

[00:01:46]And then I can figure out your thinking.

[00:01:48]Right? And then I can create incentives in order to guide and control your behavior. So, in China, can they see everything that you do?

[00:02:00]Messages you send, everything? Payments you make?

[00:02:06]Everything you do online is being recorded and is being inputted into the database to figure out who you are, what you want, and how to control you.

[00:02:27]I'm helping you achieve your dream. I'm I'm helping you lose weight. I'm helping you avoid drugs. I'm helping you work harder.

[00:02:40]Well, me personally, okay. So, I operate in a gray area where I do not, you know, interact with the Chinese internet.

[00:02:48]So, everything I do is in English. It's meant for consumption in the Western world.

[00:02:54]And um I I don't talk to Chinese reporters. I don't talk to Chinese social media. I've no Chinese media presence.

[00:03:02]And I I'm not at all influential in China. And I prefer it that way because if I ever became famous in China, then they would obviously want to control me in order to better influence other people.
