Australian Tries British Candy for the First Time!

[00:00:00]Today I will be trying some of the most popular British candies. First up, Whisper. I don't even know what this is meant to be.

[00:00:09]That is airy chocolate. That's phenomenal. I'm going to have another bite of this. We don't have these here.

[00:00:15]Now, to the viewers who are unfamiliar with my work, I live in Australia, so getting these products was well, they were at Coohl's, but they're expensive.

[00:00:23]The thing I actually love though about this is the packaging. It's so cute.

[00:00:27]It's so like just cartoony. I'm not a big chocolate guy, which I don't know why I'm making this video. That was good. That was airy. That was fluffy.

[00:00:34]That was really, really yummy. I actually really thoroughly enjoyed that.

[00:00:37]You know what? We're going to give that a five. That is outrageously good. And I'm not a big chocolate guy, but I would eat so many of these. From the land of chocolate to the land of gumdrops, we have Maynard's wine gums. I always get a bit hesitant with these. I just I get this weird like nervous I have like anxiety before I eat them cuz I have like PTSD from when I was a kid when I was sick and I had like a cough lolly and it tasted really bad. This is either going to taste like really artificial or really good.

[00:01:12]It doesn't really taste like anything and it's like extremely unhealthy. These are like a poo. The These aren't it.

[00:01:27]We're actually really close. So, subscribe for more food. We're back on the chocolate front. This is a big package. We have Jacob's Club Milk original five-pack. Now, I'm not going to eat all five of these. Oh, it's like a babushka doll. A package in a package.

[00:01:44]Packaging good. I don't mind it. They're quite big for like small things. They're quite big. Again, the Gareth inuendos in this video are remarkable. That's literally like a Kit Kat, but it's not as good. It's not bad, though. It's more wafery than a Kit Kat. This is like a three. This is like the definition of a mid chocolate bar. It's like in the middle. It's not good. It's not bad, but I would eat it. If someone handed this to me, I would eat it. Packaging is not bad. Too many colors for my liking, but it's not terrible. It's not as good as Whisper, though. That Whisper Bar was insane. That's that I will go to the lengths to say that Whisper Bar was nearly the best chocolate bar I ever had. This is just like in existence. We will have missed a few sweets, candies, lollies, whatever you call them in this video. So, comment below what other ones you want us to try. This next one is supposedly very sweet. We have round trees, fruit pastilis, vegan friendly, good for the trees. You know, the Lorax would be proud of me. It said these are made in the UK and the Czech Republic. So, I just got them because I didn't really have much choice. I assume these like jubes. These are so unhealthy but so good. The difference between these and them. Like this is so sweet, but it's so good. When I'm editing this video, I'm literally just going to plunk this next to me and I'll finish the bag. Speaking of waffle and UK, repping the big boy dumb hoodie. I wasn't a big one for buying YouTube merch as a kid, but I loved watching Marley Dom and custard.

[00:03:18]So, I have merch for all of them, which is a bit odd as a grown man having YouTuber merch and still wearing it, but I rate it. They're good. Shout out to them. This next candy that we are trying today is also big. We have a sandwich snack like the club milk or whatever it's called. I don't even rate these.

[00:03:35]These are a four. I just make it up as I go along here. It's made from Cadbury which like I'm expect so I'm expecting it to be good quality. Packaging is saucy. You also will have noticed the big watermelon is here that we got from Japan. That was that was beautiful.

[00:04:05]Bro, it is literally the same thing. I'm not even kidding. It's exactly the same as the Club Milk. It's a three for starters. The straight up three. It's not bad. I'd say the wafer is better.

[00:04:15]The wafer is better for this, which doesn't make sense. I reckon the chocolate is better on the other one, obviously. Like the wafer on this is better, but I reckon the chocolate on the other one is superior to Cadbury, which I can't believe I've just said that. This next one is the biggest chocolate bar we will eat today. The double-decker. It's beautiful. It's huge. Like it's it's act it's like thicker than my hand. It's thicker than my hand. I'm fascinated to see what this is. I read a lot of reviews and this was supposedly very good. So, I'm curious.

[00:04:46]That is good. What even is that? I'm a big nougat man. I like it. That's really solid. That's a solid chocolate bar.

[00:04:53]Packaging looks good as well. I can't help it. I'm a YouTuber and a formographic dude. I like packaging.

[00:05:00]That's a five though. That's a really solid chocolate bar. I'm going to ramble here. The biggest problem in Australia is the heat. So in summer it gets really hot and naturally it's Christmas time.

[00:05:10]You're celebrating. You eat lots of chocolate. So you eat lots of junk food.

[00:05:14]But the problem with chocolate is right, it melts. A lot of our chocolate's like really tacky. It's really cheap. It's really like crap other than the imported stuff. But you could buy one of these from the shops and you could like eat it and it would energize you for a while.

[00:05:27]Don't quote me on that. I'm not a health expert. Like if I was say working, right, and I needed just a boost, I'd eat a boost. No, I'm kidding. I would eat one of these. Probably shockingly unhealthy for me. At which point, subscribe so I live so we can do more healthy stuff. Healthy foods are expensive. Can I just say that ice cream video, I didn't include the prices cuz they were so expensive. So, I didn't mean to like I didn't want to scam anyone. If I did, it wasn't intentional.

[00:06:10]Pinky marshmallow and caramel covered in chocolate. Oh wow, this could be good.

[00:06:16]Packaging elite. It's red. It's got pink hearts and flowers. We love that here on the Tub channel. We love a bit of color.

[00:06:23]This is such an important bite. I don't know whether I like this or not. The caramel tastes too artificial. My benchmark for caramel is like caramel koalas. I don't know if they're popular around the world. If not, you you need to buy them. They're like Australian.

[00:06:36]They're really really good. They're like caramel Fredo frogs, in case you're wondering. That caramel tastes weird. Or caramel. The marshmallow and chocolate is fine. No, this ain't it, Chief. I'm sorry. This is a two. I'm sorry, Pinky.

[00:06:48]The caramel ruins it. I'm sorry. I have high caramel standards here cuz caramel koalas are quite literally one of the best chocolates in the world. It's fair to say our last item is the most like out there, most colorful squashies. Now, I've got a mate who's from the UK and he said these were like the way to go. He said these were really good. I'm down to give them a try. I prefer a lolly rather than a Oh, by the way, we call them lollies here. So, I'm pretty sure in America you call them candy. I'm pretty sure in the UK you call them sweets.

[00:07:17]Here we call them lollies. We're very weird here. Before I taste it, Australia is just like the weirdest country. We are just like the biggest hybrid of the USA and the UK. It's not even funny. You take the sidewalk example or pavement as you call it over there. You call it pavement in the UK. The US call it sidewalk. No, no, no. We're going to go off on our own tangent. We're going to call it, you won't believe it, we're going to call it a footpath. We We have our very like relaxed way of doing it.

[00:07:44]And then New Zealand is a whole another kettle of fish. It's supposedly a strawberry and cream in a candy form. I could eat a lot of them. No, that's good. That's a good way to finish cuz my gut is killing me. It's not as good as the Whisper though. I'm giving it a four. I'm giving it a four. Th This was good though. I'm bringing it back.
