[00:00:06]Friday, May 29th, 2026. Let's do a little more reports to start off our space weather.

[00:00:12]Current solar wind speeds is 433 km/s.

[00:00:16]It is making a connection with our magnetic field, but it's only just minor irritability.

[00:00:23]Another visitor approaching the sun.

[00:00:25]Let's take a look.

[00:00:28]From the bottom.

[00:00:31]You can see the comet tail.

[00:00:55]Solar flares coming in from the eastern limb, M-class flare.

[00:01:00]Double peaks, so one is a 7.6 and the other one is a M.1. This is called a long duration event.

[00:01:10]So, let's say it starts at 04:55 UTC and finishes at uh 08:00.

[00:01:23]So, about a 3-hour event between the two.

[00:01:27]Let's go take a look and see where it's from.

[00:01:31]From the northeast incoming limb.

[00:02:15]>> There was a coronal hole developing in the equatorial region. This will be aligning with Earth. It will be Earth-facing in 2 and 1/2 days approximately.

[00:02:31]Then in another 2 days, those faster solar winds will be reaching us. Very minor.

[00:02:41]Taking a look at the top-down view, Sun, Earth.

[00:02:48]A few days ago, we had a large CME.

[00:02:51]These ones here, actually two of them.

[00:02:56]Some very minor ones that will be hitting Earth. We'll look at them later.

[00:03:04]So, these ones on the backside probably were exceeding 1,000 km per second.

[00:03:12]Pretty cool, eh?

[00:03:18]Let's turn it around, take a look at the sea surface temperatures.

[00:03:28]So, this here at the bottom end of the Red Sea is the Afar hotspot.

[00:03:52]Now, sea surface temperature anomalies expanding off the coast of Peru, South America.

[00:04:06]In fact, let's take it back a few days.

[00:04:11]Let's start on the 1st.

[00:04:46]This is what they're talking about, the consequences of the development of the super El Nino.

[00:06:17]>> Had a lot of rain a lot of rain last night.

[00:06:21]I just finished my roof yesterday on my camper.

[00:06:26]Now, I know I did a good job, but hey, I still had to go out in the morning and check.

[00:06:32]Absolutely no leaks.

[00:06:47]Moving along, let's check some heat anomalies off the coast of Mexico.

[00:07:12]These two appear to be reoccurring areas.

[00:08:09]>> Now we need to switch over to our low pressure systems. There's a system developing off of uh Philippines heading towards Taiwan and then right smack into Japan.

[00:08:27]This is all modeling subject to change as they always are.

[00:09:56]>> Therefore, you know what we're going to be watching out for, folks.

[00:10:19]We're going to watch out for increased seismic activity and or volcanic eruption starting from the Papua New Guinea area, including the Bismarck Sea.

[00:10:29]Entire region all the way around Guam.

[00:10:38]And again, I'm going to be looking for another deep earthquake in the middle of the Philippines plate.

[00:10:45]Increased seismic activity subduction zone, Philippines, unfortunately, up to Luzon.

[00:10:54]Right here.

[00:10:57]Increased earthquakes all along here.

[00:11:02]Increased volcanism, southern Japan.

[00:11:38]>> I'm going to be expecting these volcanoes here to heat up.

[00:11:56]Basically, the entire perimeter of the Philippines plate Again, these are forecast models subject to change including intensifications.

[00:12:24]Earthquakes.

[00:14:26]>> The solar winds from this coronal hole opening will be uh reaching us approximately May 2nd.

[00:14:39]Geomagnetic instabilities.

[00:14:52]When the slow pressure system reaches Southern Japan.

[00:15:03]At the same time some very minor coronal mass ejections will be impacting Earth.

[00:15:27]>> So, the equatorial alignment with the solar winds is going to be right in the middle of the uh Philippines plate.

[00:15:42]So, any space weather conditions or events that will impacting depending on timing right along this line.

[00:15:54]Which would encompass the whole region.
