Analyzing concerns of Professor Avi Loeb as a potential modern UFO Gatekeeper - Psicoactivo
Added:[music] What's up humans and welcome to a new sequo. Happy Friday everybody. So no doomer Friday today. Uh I think Clint had a really long week and we needed a little bit of a break. U there's a couple of things that happened today that I do want to talk to you guys about on squivbo.
So the first one is professor Abby Loe and uh the whole idea of the science advisory council uh which has not just Abby Loe and Michael Shurmer but also Dr. Gary Nolan uh Dr. Kevin Kuth retired Rear Admiral Tim Galedet uh Dr. Peter Scafish uh Dr. Matthew Sedagas uh there's a bunch of people that I love that they are part of it. Uh if you gave me to pick, I would have picked Dr. Gary Nolan to lead the whole thing. Uh because there's a lot of discrepancies and disagreements with Professor Abilo being part of it. And he's been criticized for a number of things. A lot of them are not true at all. It's just speculation.
But there was something that caught my attention today that I do want to discuss a little bit. Um, first of all, I want to give a major shout out to Andy McGrillin from that UFO podcast because he's been making it his mission to speak to people from this council and um, he already spoke to um, well, he's spoken to pretty much everyone, but he just spoke to Dr. Peter Scfish from the Soul Foundation and I think he's going to have Michael Shurmer on next week. Uh, in this conversation with Dr. Scayfish.
They did discuss a little optimistic view that I'm not as optimistic as Dr. Peter Scayfish, but he's right about certain points that he makes. And this is going to lead to Professor Abilov and a clarification of something that initially went viral because he allegedly said it and then it was revealed that he didn't say any of that at all. So, I'm going to read through that clarification and then I'm going to tell you a little bit of inside baseball of something that happened with Professor Abby Lobe right after Gerb was with him and Dr. Hal put off. Yeah, Gerb happened. There was a specific sensation or feeling from people from the intelligence community who were happy that Abi was there and then after Gerb spoke to him and how put off they were not that happy that Abilo was there and I think that Gerb may have caused something that they weren't expecting um from professor Abilo and this I think is u more points for him in his favor because uh it at least proves that he is uh going after data that he finds interesting and he does it through the ideal channels. So let's go with Peter Scayfish first right on Andy's podcast that UFO podcast. Here it is. Um I would also say because you you asked about it this this scientific advisory council um uh that Avi Lobo leads and that I Gary Nolan, Tim Galidet, some others participate in. Um, this is also a big deal because I think this is the first time um in the history of the United States that there has been a good faith effort on the part of the intelligence community um to bring uh scientists um into conversation with them to let's say solve the problem. Now I don't think this problem hasn't been solved uh or there's a big question about what this is within a small component of the US intelligence community. Uh but you know in as much as they've reached out to uh scientists and said we and and reached out to people like Gary Nolan I mean just think about that for a second Gary if if you wanted to say there was nothing to this you wouldn't ask Gary Nolan to be part of your scientific advisory council right the fact that this has been done and it's been done in good faith that is a big deal this is not the Robertson panel um this is not the cond um whether it produces the results we all intend for it has a lot to do with the kind of data we're given.
Um but you know we all believe that uh the uh people in government that we're talking to as part of this are acting in good faith and I would say I know they are. Um so that is a big deal. And then you know behind that is this um uh UAP um uh governance council in the executive branch which you know who the members of which are not known publicly um uh some of them though uh if I understand who they are are quite significant in the executive branch um and they certainly uh the council and uh that council have the support of the white house. Um, okay. That's an enormous change too because you know look if you have a governance council on this and you have a lot of signals uh coming from individuals in the cabinet but also the cabinet itself that there is something to the legacy program and people aren't uh happy about its level of secrecy and the fact that it was never acknowledged to the public.
Um that's enormous shift too. So look, you know, take all those pieces uh with Congress, with the intelligence community or certain part of it, reaching out to scientists in good faith and then this governance council and then let's throw in I won't try to discuss it that you have a group in the FBI that is actively doing work on this.
Um that Arrow even if it has been very uh let's say it has a has had a bad past on this seems to be acting in good faith as well. Well, you that is a total sea change and that means that whether it is whether it's two years from now or five years from now or 10 years from now and I know a lot of people in the UAP community will you know would slump over if it's going to be 10 years but you know whatever the time frame you're going to have direct acknowledgement from the US government you're going to have media uh more importantly asking hard questions at some point um I would say where we are with this um is is we're in a case I let's say this we're in a process that is moving too quickly for my comfort and it really should uh give people pause are we really ready for disclosure um depends on what disclosure is but if we're really ready for it then then fine let's barrel ahead but I would say this is this is about as fast as you'd want it to go and frankly I wouldn't mind if it went a little little little more slow >> so on the council then you could perhaps join some dots for me because What it appeared to me and a lot of folks listening to this and watching this I'm sure was we had the you mentioned the members of Congress who are pursuing this whether people like them as as individuals personalities politic politicians what they are doing in terms of the UFO topic is really keeping this front and center they're keeping it on mainstream news mainstream podcasts are doing huge appearances on various different types of shows and they're getting a lot of big names talking about this in a really serious Wait, it seems >> Can I Can I interrupt you briefly on that and I want to get back to your point, but look, I want to put it to you this way is that even if you're from the left, and I'll make one of the rare admissions that I am, you have to love Eric Berison and Anopolina Luna and Tim Bashett. You have to love these people if if you're into UAP because they >> I am grateful to them. I'm not an American, so that politics aspect of it is something that I take a little differently. Um, I have a disdain for most politicians, but I am grateful to them for getting on this topic uh as an international citizen from a different country. But I understand that people have gripes with uh some of the ideologies and politics of some of these uh Congress people. And you can't be you can't ignore if they have problems with that. That is entirely valid for them to have problems with that. So you can't really say you have to love. No, we don't. We can be grateful to them for what they've done, but if they have an opinion where anybody who has a very strong stance on politics thinks is is contrarian to what they think, they have the right to criticize them for it. last time I checked, the US is a free country and there is free speech in in your country. So, um yeah, and and and I have my problems with, for example, Anapina Luna because I am completely anti-war and whenever I've seen her tweet about uh that topic, she's always been on sort of a fence sitter kind of situation because and it makes me feel like she's like, "Oh, they're boys. They're going to eventually fix it, you know? She gives off that energy with the way that she tackles when war takes place, when attacks on a on a different country take place. She's like, "Let's pray." And and it's like really because for me u having that type of a moral compass with everything is important and I think it should be important to uh somebody like Dr. Peter Scayfish who just came out as somebody from the left he calls it. I think this whole binary sort of way of thinking is one of the main problems that your country has and and it's also happening in my country, but it's a little different. This binary way of thinking is just stupid uh in my opinion. But you can't say that. Um I don't think >> again they've done what Congress never did on this. uh you know, hats off to Harry Reid as as the Senate majority leader, the most powerful person in the legislative branch in the US Congress when he held that position. Um starting the OSAP program and bringing in people like Hell Putoff, uh Eric Davis, uh J Stratton, etc., uh Jacques Valet, uh to to work on the UAP issue, um with a with a a fantastic budget, but that was a classified program. you know what what what these folks I just mentioned uh Luna Bett um uh and uh Berles have done is is they've pushed for transparency in a remarkable way and you know we really have to acknowledge them for that even if you know even if you know some people are going to really uh uh you know blanch at their politics and some of their positions I mean this is where they've they've put the majority of their effort And it is to the benefit of not just Republicans, also Democrats, and as Berlesen said recently in a in an interview, to the the benefit of humanity. I mean, that that's really remarkable. And so I want to note that because um you know this shows us that something really important about the UAP issue which is if we take it seriously we're going to find ourselves in alliances with people who we may not agree with on on many other points who who we could otherwise feel alienated from uh culturally and politically. And yet we can find that commonality and even unity. And that's going to be a very important thing going forward because this is not an issue if you take it seriously where you want to be dealing with human division, right? You want to find human commonality and you want to be able to work um you know across apparent divisions because you don't know what's on the other end with so-called NHI and you would do very well to know how to build alliances and to get over differences.
Well, essentially what I'm looking to know then is what was the reason for these councils being established? Was there are you aware of a moment or an event or something happening that the work of the congressmen and women and what they were doing required this? Was this a different tact, a different approach from a different entity? It seemed to come a little bit out the blue and that's what I'm still a little unsure of and I think a lot of folks are on these groups and why they're there.
Yeah, I understand that. Well, look, I mean, I do think uh Berles and and Luna's advocacy had a lot to do with many developments in the executive branch um on the UAP issue. Um I know of things that Luna has done. I think that were pretty decisive. Um in uh you know, creating space for this in the cabinet and and with the president and so on. So I do think Congress had something to do with this but no this is more coming from the executive branch and you know I am aware of some events that I think precipitated this and and I don't think it would be wise for me to talk about those in public. Um but what I would say is that the um again you wouldn't if you were at the highest levels of US government um put together a council with Avi, Gary Nolan, uh Kevin Canuth, myself, Tim Galadad if you were even skeptical of the idea that UAP are are non-anthropogenic vehicles, right?
And so I I guess that what I would convey on this is that there is an interest >> in working with scientists on scientific data to give them a chance to do uh uh proper uh scientific research and analysis um in order to to to get at something like scientific verification of uh what I just said about UAP. Um and let me add this. I mean the fact that the office of the director of national intelligence is involved in this and and that is the part of government we primarily interface with on the council that should tell you a lot about um you know what's in the mind of at least some people in that office.
>> Okay. So uh uh I [clears throat] wanted to show you this from uh Andy on that UFO podcast because I think it's important for the topic that we're tackling today. Um, and it has to do with Abby Lobe and all this uh conversation of him being potentially a gatekeeper, another Robertson panel, another Condon uh report.
And this is Peter Scafish saying, "No, that's not happening." But the reality is a little different. And I do want to show you something that may be an indicator that Abilobe is at least trying to do some digging uh because of Gerb as I told you before. Let's start with uh Michael Shurmer was on Professor Brian Keading's podcast um and he said something that he made a mistake uh by saying and then it was clarified later.
But let me show it to you right here.
They get a big bag of Harvard money and >> No, there's no money. No, there's this is all volunteer. There's no money at all. Same thing with the Galileo project. I've been on it since the beginning. And I just do it because I'm interested in the topic. I think Avi strikes the right balance between open-mindedness and gullibility. Don't be gullible, but be open-minded, but also be skeptical. And their emphasis on data and evidence, not stories, right? I mean, we just had our first meeting today. obvious started right off. No more stories about people who know people that touched the aliens or whatever. We've all heard these. Okay.
And [snorts] no new physics, right? So, you'll appreciate this because you're a physicist, right? I mean, it's like people are always talking this obby.
People are always telling me about the >> so that no new physics is what Michael Shurmer said. And you can imagine what people felt or thought when they heard that. Fortunately, uh, Professor Abilo, uh, came out to clarify that and so did Michael Shurmer. I'm going to show you Michael's clarification first so you can see it. Uh, and this is this is the statement. Dr. Michael Shurmer says, "Clarification of my statement on Brian Keading's podcast about Professor Abby Lope comment on no new physics, quote unquote, here's what Abby actually said.
He said, quote, "Just keep in mind when people say new physics, the UAPs will teach us new physics. That is on top of what we already know." End quote. And then this is the full uh clarification from Professor Abilov himself. He was responding to Brandon Fugle's uh reaction of this no new physics comment, which now we know is not real. He said, "Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Brandon Fugle. What I actually said was that new physics, if discovered, would build on what we already know. Historically, new physics reveals new domains where deviations appear while existing laws remain valid in the domains where they were tested.
The council's goal is to examine anomalies with rigorous data and let the evidence guide us. So, this is just uh so you can see where Professor Abilo's mind is. I know that there's a lot of people with a difference of opinion when it comes to him, but there's another aspect that I wanted to show you guys about Dr. Abby Loe because I've been speaking to some folks who were privy to when Lo was uh selected to the council and how happy people from the intelligence community were that he was part of it. H in a sense some of them thought that they were getting a little bit too much heat for a lot of what they were trying to do and they wanted for this council to be like the first line of defense of so to speak, right? And they were really happy with Abby and then the interview on Fresh Freedom podcast where Berles had Gerb then Professor Abil and then Dr. Hal put off on the same panel. that interview happened and then something uh made Dr. Abilo to over foya the intelligence community with a number of things that he wanted to find out whether they were there or not. And this happened after the interview with Gerb. And as I'm told, there were about between 25 and 27 foyer requests directly from Dr. Abby Loe to the intelligence community to multiple agencies. And after that happened, that's when some of those people who were happy that Loe was part of this were not so happy after all.
They didn't like that they were bombarded by foyer requests from Professor Loe. So that tells me that I think that many of the things that he was told by I don't know if it was Gur but during that week when he had a bunch of different meetings and he spoke to a lot of people that's when Lobe made his notes and started trying to get information via Foya on his own which I think it's commendable. So initially when I heard Dr. for Peter Scayfish being so optimistic on Andy's podcast. I was like, really? You know, because it did feel uh when Lo said that um he didn't want to get classified information, it did feel like he was sort of gatekeeping some of that and it gave everybody a bad feeling and everybody started wondering if he was a gatekeeper of not or not. But then there's a really good point that Skish made that is like, okay, so if you want us to get classified information, that would mean that after we get it, you wouldn't be able to know anyway because we would get it in classified settings and we wouldn't be able to talk about it. And that's a really good point. And the main problem here is over classification, right? So sort of jokingly, I have a solution. we can get President Donald Trump to uh make an executive order to give everybody an above top secret clearance. So there is no problem with knowing this information.
Like and when I say everybody, I mean every citizen of the world.
That was a joke, but that seems like one of the few um solutions to this.
Uh but yeah, let me know what you guys think about this. Uh what do you think about Professor Abi Lobe getting between 25 and 27 foyer requests to people in the intelligence community, different agencies right after that week where he was with GERB and with many more people.
What do you think about the clarification of the no new physics comment that now we know he didn't say?
And what do you think about what Peter Scfish said about the scientific council? Are you as optimistic as Kayfish or do you still have your reservations? I still have some with some of the comments that Lo said before. Uh but I want to reserve judgment for a later time. Until then, please let me know yours if you want.
You don't have to let me know. Before I leave, I'm going to present you with SQATO's second ever sponsor, a really cool app by the name of Look Up from my friend Nick. Thank you to Nick and the Lookup app for sponsoring this video.
Every night, people look up and they see something they can't explain. Now there's a place to find out what. Lookup is the sighting network of the UFO era.
See what's being reported near you tonight in real time. Spot something yourself, capture it, tag the sky, and share it in [music] seconds with your exact location kept private if you want.
[music] Then go deeper. Search hundreds of declassified government documents, FBI, CIA, national archives. Link directly to real cases. Build your own case files. Connect sightings, documents, and the people behind them.
And watch [music] the patterns emerge.
Look up is free on the App Store and Google Play. And if you want to support the mission, subscribe for just $1.99 a month. Your first month is free. In the App Store, [music] search for Lookup UAP. I repeat, in the App Store, search for Lookup UAP and you will find [music] this logo. Don't forget to look up. And that's it for me today on this video, but I'll see you guys in the next one.
Remember, stay curious and inquisitive like Professor Abilo always.
Bye.
