You Get A Ride AlongHinzugefügt:
[laughter] I'm in such big trouble.
Hey, man. Here we go again.
Back at it. That rain had stopped us.
ended up raining about 3/10, but it was just enough and it was a slow steady rain. So, it just took it just made enough things muddy that no reason to keep going. This is 3 days later.
So, as you can tell, well, this is kind of a this is a low area, but it's it's dry enough. But now rain coming this afternoon up to a/ inch shovel or two behind the wheels here that are this leaving uh deeper ruts and I can't tell which one it is.
That's why I have it set to where it's just barely riding the ground.
It may be this back guy right here, but it's sitting pretty level.
I want to get it figured out because it bugs me. Look, there's the boss man. He caught me filming.
See the little uh valleys right here?
That's what I want to get rid of. These guys right here.
I'm in such big trouble.
[music] [music] Boy, oh boy. I mowed my yard yesterday and I am paying for it today. Eyes are all itchy. I was all snotting and coughing this morning.
I can't tell what's going on with that.
Why it's why it's gouging the ground in some spots and other spots it's not.
All the shovels look like they're touching correctly. I mean, unless we have it in a [clears throat] in a shop or on a concrete pad or something to where it's nice, straight, flat, be about the best way to tell.
Really hate to go back there and just start making adjustments, screwing things up, and not get it back to where it should be.
Look who's back.
My bro crow. Crow bro.
Sup, bro.
Well, that made easy work to that groundhog hole.
See, that's a bigoton. If I would have hit that in the Baylor tractor or I've been flying. Didn't even feel it.
Leveled that right out.
That had been a 8 in tall, maybe 10in tall mound and it took it right straight down to level.
Hey, bro.
Yeah, baby.
Got a hole in it.
No way.
No way.
Maybe it's reverse.
Come on.
Not happening.
All I can figure out is it looks like the front shovels aren't doing much. They're not throwing near as much dirt as the back shovels and the dirt line these back shovels much higher.
So, I think it needs to pitch forward just a little bit. And that would probably help these back ones from digging so much.
But as you could see, I could not get that moved.
I need a big pipe. Big pipe.
Be able to move that.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat up here.
Yeah.
Heat.
>> [laughter] >> You made it.
Holy cow. You made it.
And you're you're you're not damaged.
Cool. Let's do it again.
Heat up here.
Heat. Heat.
Well, shoot.
I was going to put you guys on another spot on the tool to see the dirt turn, but now we got dark skies and raindrops on the windshield. So, I got no time to play. I need to hurry up and get her finished.
This is all I got left. It was these three fields. I didn't I don't think I recorded anything in that other one.
This look at it's 4 acre field or something. Tiny little guy.
I think I figured out what needs to happen. I need to look up the owner's manual for this tillillage tool and see what they suggest on getting those shovels lined flat, parallel with the ground, whatever you want to call it.
Um, there's adjustments on the lifting wheels on the wings, and then there's that big adjustment that I was messing with that I didn't get anything done with it.
So, I I need to figure out what does what, which way to go with it. So, and break those things loose so next time I'm in the field, I can adjust it and play with it.
cuz I know this tool can do better. It's leaving those ridges and it's not it's not normal for this tool to do that.
Heat up here.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Well, what'd you think of that? Is that pretty cool?
I'm kind of excited to look back at it and see uh what's actually happening.
That'll help me a lot.
I It may be those uh finger harrow that one bar finger harrow thingy is needs to move down one notch.
So, it's pushing more dirt and filling those valleys.
That's my guess. Well, the rain held off. I got finished.
So, that's good.
This This is going to be an upcoming video. Andy's supposed to be coming today. We're going to work on the wiring on this thing. See how we can get done.
But what I wanted to tell you was I've been a long believer in slime, the product Slime for the tires.
And the back of this mower, I had windshield washer fluid filled in those tires for weight.
And I had, what was it? Oh, I had a big hole right in here somewhere. And I I put some plugs in it. Well, the Well, the washer fluid would disintegrate the glue and it just kept leaking and leaking. So anyway, had to take it up to a tire shop, get it repaired. They said the rim was ate up with rust. And they spent a long time trying to get the rust off of it.
So I'm like, "Okay, no more of that. I'm just going to leave them filled with air. I got these weights back here. Call it good."
Front tire just had a hole in it. Where?
On the valve stem. All right. Take it.
Valve stem out. Nope. can't disintegrated. All right, got to take the tire off to get the valve stem out.
Well, would you look at that?
That is slime after it's been in the tire for uh I don't know, 4 years maybe since I've had those new tires.
So, check it out here.
Get it in the sunlight. Maybe you can see better. I don't know.
There. Look.
Junk. I mean, just no thanks.
Oh, that's a rock.
Yeah, that's what the slime turned into.
[snorts and clears throat] No more slime.
It is time going to get this dude hooked up to the K Cabota and see if the uh hydraulics actually work.
Uh just really need to move it out of the way. I got my cousin. He's coming to get some some dirt, but gives me an excuse to get that hooked up and uh try it out. So to get that, I got to get that. To get that, I got to get that. So a little bit of shuffle here. No problem. No problem.
Dirty birds.
Oh.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Okay, got me a rag. Got me my favorite WD.
So, I got them marked red or double red for right.
Get this plugged in here.
Whoa.
Got it. Okay, that Okay, let me explain here. I use this stack of washers because there is a huge gap and this thing would just it would bounce up and down and beat the crap out of it. So, I didn't like it. So, I put this in there to stiffen it up. I found out you can't go too stiff. You need some slop, but I don't like all that slop. So, I picked these up at the uh farm show and I wish I remember where I got them and what it what the company's name. But anyway, [snorts] I'm going to see if that'll work. It's not taking up all the gap, but it's going to help reduce the slap.
See if this dude will fold up. Ow. Why am I banging everything?
Contact should be outside lever to pull.
Hey, it's working.
It's doing something. It was. Oh, you got to pull way back.
I guess I didn't realize how heavy that thing was. It's actually moving this tractor around.
May need to be in the market for wheel weights.
Well, I guess the Massie and John Deere 4230, I guess what dad's is.
Evidently, they weigh a lot more than what this tractor does because just driving through the grass, this guy is uh moving this tractor around. So, either I get some I would rather not do liquid, I'd rather do a wheel weight, but I I'm just just got to be careful.
All right. Just be careful.
So, I do need to adjust it forward. No big deal. I'm going to go ahead and service this, get it ready, and this will actually be probably the first job for this tractor.
[snorts] So, they had a straight They had a straight zer right there. And what's straight above it? This. How do you get How do you get grease into a zer that's coming straight up right there?
So, I got this cleaned out the dirty dirty out of there.
Still not great, but I'm going to do a little bit of There we go.
Right before I put this guy in. And this takes a very precise placement. I had to grind the threads a little bit.
Yeah, it's going.
So, I have not greased this thing.
Okay, looks like it's going right there.
Cool.
Now I can grease it. Bang.
Now I got to do that one. See?
Straight up right into it. I'm going through greasing everything. I I greased it before I put it away for the season, but as it sit as the grease sits, it you know goes away. It disappears. It gets hard. It gets rain in it. Da da da. So, I'm going to go fresh grease, check all the tires, grease the PTO. I need to get that and that should be ready to go.
Heat. Heat.
really as soon as I start.
All right, I think that's going to be it for this I don't like that, but I like I mean it's something. It's It's for now. I looked for one of those uh pogo sticks to go onto here, but I really like that this flips up and gets out of the way so I can hook up easier. So, if I was to mount a pogo stick, it would go on there. Or I could mount it to the side.
I don't know. It's something for later. Right now, this works.
Got uh my little flapper. You saw that everything's greased.
Fittings changed. Tires good.
Level adjusted for now.
Wait till I get to the field. See how it goes. The other thing I was looking at, I took these off last year. This one busted off. It's the extra bar that comes around.
I'm wondering, could I make something better?
If I make a new plate and come out with more of a crash bar, you know, something to come out and angle off. That way, if you get too close to the trees or fence or something like that, it will it'll crash into the fence and not damage the arms.
So, that's something I'm thinking. Don't know if I'll do it or not. Hey, I don't know what's going on with this video.
It's all over the place. But hey, thanks for watching, guys. I appreciate it.
See?
>> Well, if anybody wants to know how much hydraulic oil comes out of a bell baron hydraulic reservoir for hydraulic change. It's u 1 2 3 4 five 5gallon buckets plus what's on the ground plus what's come out of there.
And it was a little bit low. So, I'm going to say about 30 gallons is there you go. There's some knowledge for you.
Now, if you're wondering how much it takes to fill it back up, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and it's it's full. But this guy is stuck.
It won't go up, but the filters are not filled.
And I don't know if the pump is filled.
I would assume it is, but there's got to be some type of air lock going on there.
I'm not going to run it right now. I'll let you know later.
