NEW MOVIES In Theaters This Weekend (May 14–16) #movies #movienews #intheaters #newmoviesAjouté :
There are 70 movies coming to theaters this week starting with Obsession, which is a new horror film that I'm really excited about. This movie currently has a lot of hype behind it. Like the trailer looks good, the reviews are looking great, the acting looks phenomenal, and it looks like an interesting idea. And then we have In the Gray, which is a fast-paced action kind of comedy movie starring Henry Cavill, Eiza González, and Jake Gyllenhaal. And honestly, the movie doesn't seem super original or unique, but at least it seems kind of fun. And next up we have Life Hack, which is a movie in the same style as like Unfriended or Searching, where everything is told through like technology like through laptops and phones. Essentially like a thriller heist film where four people steal digital like cryptocurrency from really bad people, and it does not go well at all. And then we have Is God Is, which is like a drama/comedy kind of movie where two sisters are told by their mother to go on a live their abusive father, and it looks like a complete mess and like a fun and chaotic way. I don't know, I feel like I've seen the trailer for this movie so many times that I've already seen the film, but hopefully it's going to be good. And then we have a Spanish animated horror film called Decorado or Decorado if you want to get spicy with it. The story's about a mouse that kind of breaks the fourth wall, and he feels like he's living his life in a set like everything is scripted. The animation and art style just don't match the vibe of this film, and it's very weird, and I mean that in the best way possible. And then we have The Wizard of Kremlin, which is a historical fiction starring Paul Dano and Jude Law. This movie tells the story of a young filmmaker who advises Vladimir Putin during the time when he came into power. Like I said, it is historical fiction, but it's based off of real-life events, and these two actors are amazing, so I'm expecting something great here. And lastly, we have an anime movie called Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway's Ne'er-Do-Well Cirque, which is a very difficult title to say.
This movie is the second entry in the new Hathaway trilogy for Gundam, and unfortunately, I am very unfamiliar with Gundam, but I am sure the Gundam fans are going to absolutely eat this movie up. Let me know in the comments what movies you're going to be watching in theaters this weekend.
