Crypto question of the day. I bought a Ledger wallet from Best Buy. Is it safe or should I buy directly from Ledger? I haven't transferred anything yet.
So, me personally, I would not use it.
I'm going to be extra cautious here and I'm only going to use a cold wallet that I bought directly from the brand's website. Why? Because I've had too many followers message me and tell me that they bought cold wallets not from the brand's website. They got it home, they opened it up, they connected it, they moved their crypto to it and their crypto disappeared from it because they had received a tampered with device and they did not realize it. So, for me, it is not worth the risk to buy a cold wallet that is not from the brand. Be safe and order only from the brand's website.
