I Got My Face Done In KOREA! (Part 1/2)Added:
How do you face the problem when the problem is your face?
Yeah, that was the best opening that I had for the vlog because, you know, we're getting our faces done in Korea and since we're getting it done, it's because we don't like something. Making it a problem, face problem, face problem.
Jokes aside, I already know that many people are going to be like, "What are you going to do?
Uh you don't need to do anything. Your face is just fine. It's okay." For example, I'll just give you one of the many things I'll get done. Due to my fat fluctuations that, you know, I gained a lot of weight, I lost a lot of weight, I have these things right here and I hate them.
Every single time I film, I'm very conscious about it. I need to do things like this all the time just so I don't have a double, triple chin, whatever.
And especially on the on photo shoots, like I cannot even turn side profile because this is what happens on my side profile.
I hate that so much and I want it gone.
Also, I already know that many people are against plastic surgery for their own reasons, but I have one question.
Why is it that, for example, if you can afford a better house or a better car, you can, you know, do the upgrade, buy a better house, buy a better car, whatever, if you can afford it, but it is so like taboo or weird to give an upgrade to yourself if you can afford it, you know. What do you think about this? Let me know in the comments. For those wondering, I chose Nana Hospital in Seoul for my surgery with the help of DocFinders Korea. What is that? Think of it like the middle man who makes everything super easy. I contacted them, told them what I want, they gave me the options and once I chose, they pretty much arranged everything for me. Super easy and super convenient, but more on that later in the video. Also, I know I haven't uploaded absolutely anything long form on my main channel in four, five, six months. I don't know when this vlog is going to come out. So, um I'm sorry, but but I have a good reasoning for it. Wait, wait, wait. Do do do drumroll. I'm doing a world tour. I think I announced it on one of my streams, but in order to even start the world tour videos, I wanted first to, you know, look my best, but I promise you the videos I'm going to be putting out are going to be absolute [music] bangers. It's going to be worth the wait. I hope you're subscribed to the vlog channel because, you know, all those countries we're going, all those experiences, all those people we're meeting, we're vlogging everything and you don't want to miss it because it's going to be like insane. That's all I'm going to say. Now we need to wait 2 hours at the airport here, then spend 3 hours in a plane to get to Austria, Vienna, then stay like 6, 7 hours in the airport in Vienna and then travel 11 hours to Seoul, Korea.
After waiting, it was finally time to board the plane and to pass the time, I grinded Pokémon Fire Red on my Nintendo Switch. After two flights and many hours, we finally landed to Korea.
I'm officially 24 hours without sleep and because of that, I look very bloated. The airport low-key looked like a mall, by the way. I think that is our guy right there who is waiting for us.
DocFinders Korea, which is a government registered medical tourism agency in South Korea specialized in facilitating aesthetic procedures for international patients, arranged our airport transfer.
Good morning, people. This is my second day in Korea and today is the consultation day. We're currently waiting for DocFinders [music] to come pick us up and take us to Nana to get my consultation done. But first, I had to grab a strawberry drink, which Korea seemed full of it. It was delicious. I approve. Then we met with the DocFinders Korea girls. Here is where I would like to introduce Eugenia, our personal care manager, who took care of everything for us on this trip. We headed straight to Nana for our consultations with the doctors. There is a 0% chance I'm going to pronounce the name correctly, so I'm just going to write them on screen.
Dude, Korea is on a different level as well. This looks like a hotel and like a really fancy hotel. Proceeding, I completed some forms, changed clothes and started doing scans of my head.
This is what the skull looks like if you're interested, then pressure, blood tests and a lot of other tests that I know nothing about with Samantha doing all of that as well. Then it was time to meet the doctors.
We're going to consult with Dr. Kwon regarding about your eyes, fat graft, lifting and nose today.
>> [laughter] >> So, on the under eyes, you do have a very prominent pigmentation and also you have multiple fine wrinkles on the under eyes. So, this surgery is not to approach the full correction on those two areas. But the main cause of the shadow is from the bulging, so it will improve slightly, but not fully.
Overall, you don't want a fake look. I remember that. Yeah, I want a natural look.
The natural look. The first thing that I really like hate and I want to get rid of is especially on my side profile, I do look a little bit like this. As you know, this kind of especially when I do any kind of filming or anything like that, the moment I turn even a little bit, all this starts to sag and my jawline goes to [ __ ] So, I definitely want to fix that and basically go way towards something like this when it comes to jawline, sharper. I'm going to write on screen once again their name and the procedures they're going to be doing cuz as I said, there is no way I'm going to pronounce them correctly. Then it was Samantha's turn who also had breathing problems, so her nose required extra attention. Doctors and procedures are on screen.
>> [music] >> After the consultation, I had a few hours of checking the area we were in, which is Gangnam. Visited several stores, tried some food, visited a cat cafe with many cuties.
He doesn't care. I also saw Faker on billboards and noodles and that was it for the day. Also, for future reference, you're not allowed to drink or eat anything for a number of hours before the surgery, which especially for me, a water lover, is a problem. During the surgery, I'm incredibly thirsty because I'm not allowed to eat or drink absolutely anything from the previous midnight until the time of the surgery and I would do anything for a bottle of water right now, which I cannot have.
I am a little bit nervous. I mean, obviously it's a surgery, duh.
Uh but I mostly really really really want water.
How do I look?
No, okay.
>> [laughter] >> Before seeing the doctors again, I firstly saw the coordinator, which told me very encouraging words. Beauty is pain. I know.
I heard that many [laughter] times.
>> [music] >> You want to make it more like a straight line.
So, all of this will be gone.
Your chin overall is also big. When we checked the CT scan, so we're going to narrow and make it shorter, so it's less heavy. Forehead lift and brow bone, the patrician here >> [music] >> and here and here will be pushed back and shaving here, which is known as the brow bone type three. And together combined, the incision will be made around the hairline like this. If the fat grafting is a procedure to fill [music] up the flat areas of your face and she's going to put a little bit here on the nasal labial fold and then on the forehead as well, we're not going to make it bigger. It's more to make the surface of your forehead more smoother.
>> [music] >> Okay?
So, our goal for your nose is to make it slimmer because currently your bone and cartilage structure is overdeveloped, so meaning [music] it's big and wide.
Samantha's surgery was scheduled for the next day, so I guess you will have to see that in the next episode so I don't spoil what happens to me. I'm going to my surgery. See you later, hopefully.
>> [laughter] >> And just like that, I walked into the elevator. I was nervous, but what will happen next? Will I come out alive? How will I look? Stay tuned for the next episode.
