God's preparation for greater purpose is characterized by five key signs: (1) an unshakeable burden for God's work that cannot be ignored, (2) supernatural confirmations through divine encounters and circumstances, (3) internal restlessness that cannot find satisfaction in worldly pursuits, (4) resistance and opposition that evidence divine marking, and (5) transformation of desires toward spiritual priorities. These signs indicate that God is not denying but preparing individuals for greater responsibility, using waiting periods to develop character, strengthen endurance, and build a foundation that can sustain future blessings. The transformation involves a complete renewal of heart, mind, and spirit, producing boldness, compassion, and unshakeable faith that enables individuals to fulfill their divine calling.

These 5 Signs Show God Is Preparing You For More || Kathryn KuhlmanAdded:
There is something so powerful, so overwhelming that when it comes upon you, it will change your very being. It is a force that is not born of the flesh, but of the spirit. And when it calls you, oh, when it calls you, there will be no escape. It is the divine calling of God upon a life. Many may wonder, am I truly chosen? Has God placed his mighty hand upon me? And I tell you today, there are signs. There are signs so clear, so undeniable that if you open your heart, you will know whether you are one of those whom heaven has marked for his glory.
Beloved, hear me.
There is a fire that burns within the chosen. It is not a fire that man can ignite, nor is it one that can be extinguished by the trials of life. It is the flame of divine purpose. The knowing deep within the soul that you were not placed here to live as others do, but that you have been separated, consecrated, set apart for something beyond yourself.
And if this fire is within you, you must listen. I have come to tell you today that the hand of God does not rest upon a man or a woman without purpose. If you are chosen, you will not be able to run from it. You will not be able to silence it, for heaven itself will stir within you. You will feel the burden of his work pressing upon your heart, waking you in the midnight hour, calling you to places you never imagined. And when this calling comes, the choice is yours. Will you answer? Will you surrender? Will you walk the path, no matter the cost?
There are five undeniable signs that God has chosen you, and if you recognize them, then you must know you are his vessel. You have been called for such a time as this. Do not resist him. Do not turn away, for the spirit of the Lord is upon you. And what he [music] has begun in you, he will bring to completion. Oh, my dear friends, stay with me now, for these signs will confirm what has been burning in your soul. Do [music] not miss this, for today could be the moment you finally recognize the calling that has been hovering over your life.
Not everyone is called, but those who are feel an undeniable pull toward his purpose.
A divine calling is not something one can manufacture, nor is it something that can be earned through human effort.
It is ordained by God himself.
Woven into the very fabric of a person's soul before they even take their first breath.
When God chooses someone, his hand rests upon them in a way that cannot be mistaken. There is a weight to it, >> [music] >> an unseen force that moves them in ways they do not fully understand. It is not merely a desire to do good or a passion for ministry. It is an inescapable reality that shapes their very existence. It is the sovereign choice of God, and when he calls, no man, no circumstance, no opposition can stand in the way of his divine will.
The ones who are chosen often do not feel qualified. [music] In fact, the weight of the calling can feel overwhelming.
They may question, "Why me? Who am I that God would use [music] me?"
And yet, the truth is that God has never chosen based on human strength or ability.
He does not look for the most eloquent speaker, the wealthiest individual, or the one with the highest education.
Instead, he looks at the heart. He chooses the weak to shame the strong, the foolish to confound the wise, and the ordinary to accomplish the extraordinary. This is why those who are called often feel an unworthiness deep within their souls. But, it is precisely in that humility, in that recognition of their own insufficiency, that God moves most powerfully. For when a man or a woman acknowledges their weakness, then the spirit of the Lord can fully take over, and in that surrender, God's power is revealed.
Those who are called will feel the stirring of the Holy Spirit long before they fully understand what is happening.
There will be moments sometimes in the quiet of the night where a deep unrest settles in their spirit. They may try to live an ordinary life, to blend in with the crowd, to ignore the pressing burden upon them, but it will not leave them. The calling of God is persistent. It does not let go. It will chase them through the years, whispering in the stillness, stirring in moments of worship, igniting in times of prayer. They will find themselves moved by things that do not seem to affect others. A sermon will reach into the depths of their soul. A scripture will leap off the page. A conversation will confirm something they have wrestled with for years. And in those moments, they will begin to realize that their life is not The evidence of God's sovereign choice is often marked by an unexplainable drawing toward him. Those who are chosen will have a hunger for his presence that nothing else can satisfy. They may not always understand it, but there will be an inner longing for something beyond this world. They will find themselves desiring to pray more, to worship more, to seek him more. Even if they walk away for a season, even if they try to silence the call, the spirit of God will keep drawing them back. It is relentless because God does not change his mind.
When he places a calling upon a life, he does not revoke it. His purpose is eternal, and those he has chosen cannot escape his pursuit. There will also be divine confirmations along the way. It may come through prophecy, through dreams, through circumstances that seem too precise to be coincidence. God will speak in ways that make it undeniable. A word from a stranger, a message that directly addresses their hidden struggles, a door that opens in a way only God could orchestrate. Those who are chosen will experience moments where they know, without a shadow of a doubt, that God is speaking to them. And yet, even with these confirmations, the road is not easy.
Many who are called will face seasons of doubt, of resistance, of trials that seem unbearable. But this is also part of the process. God refines those whom he chooses. He allows them to be tested, to be broken, to walk through the fire, so that their faith may be purified.
The calling is not about personal glory or success.
It is about surrender. And only those who are willing to fully surrender will see the fullness of what God has planned for them.
To be chosen by God is both an honor and a responsibility. It is not something to take lightly, nor is it something to resist. Those who are called must come to a place of complete surrender, laying down their own plans, their own desires, and their own ambitions at the feet of Jesus.
For in that surrender, they will find the true purpose for which they were created.
The calling is not always easy. It will cost them, it will separate them, it will require sacrifice, but in that sacrifice, in that obedience, they will walk in the fullness of God's will, and there is no greater place to be.
There are unmistakable markers that separate those whom God has chosen.
These signs are not subtle, nor are they things that can be ignored or easily dismissed. [music] They are woven into the very fabric of a person's existence, shaping their desires, their struggles, and their direction in life.
When God places his calling upon someone, he does not leave them in confusion. He makes it clear through signs that can be recognized by those who are sensitive to his voice.
Some may try to deny it, some may try to run from it, but those who are chosen will eventually come to see that the evidence of their calling has been present all along.
One of the first signs of being chosen is an unshakeable burden for God's work.
This burden is not the same as mere interest or admiration for spiritual things.
It is something much deeper.
It is a weight upon the heart that will not lift, a holy restlessness that will not fade.
Those who are chosen will feel compelled toward the things of God in a way that is different from others.
While some may be satisfied with occasional worship, with moments of prayer, or with a passive relationship with God, those who are truly called will feel an urgency that never leaves them. They will look at the world around them and feel a deep sorrow for the lost, an overwhelming need to bring the light of Christ into the darkness. They will not be able to ignore it, no matter how much they try.
>> [music] >> It will call to them in quiet moments, in dreams, in unexpected conversations, reminding them that they were made for something greater.
Another sign of being chosen is supernatural confirmation. God does not [music] leave his chosen ones in doubt.
He will send signs, messages, and divine encounters to reaffirm the calling he has placed upon them. These confirmations often come in ways that seem too precise to be coincidences. A sermon that speaks directly to their hidden thoughts, a prophetic word that reveals what only God could know, an open door at just the right moment.
These are all ways in which God confirms his call. And while many may experience moments of divine direction, those who are truly chosen will see these confirmations repeatedly throughout their lives.
God will continue to remind them again and again that they have been set apart for his purpose.
Even in moments of discouragement, when they begin to doubt, he will send a word, a dream, or an encounter that reignites their faith and reminds them that his plan for their life has not changed.
An internal restlessness is another clear sign of divine calling. Those who are chosen cannot find satisfaction in anything outside of God's purpose for them. They may try to pursue other paths. They may seek fulfillment in career, in relationships, in material success, but none of it will bring them peace. There will always be something missing, something unsettled within them. This restlessness is not because they are ungrateful for what they have, but because their soul knows that they were created for more.
The world may offer temporary distractions, but nothing will satisfy the deep longing within them except walking fully in the calling God has placed on their life.
They will feel this restlessness in ways that others may not understand. There will be a sense of urgency, a feeling that time is passing, and that they must step into their God-given assignment before it is too late.
Resistance and opposition often accompany the calling of those who are chosen. This is not a sign that they are on the wrong path. Rather, it is evidence that they have been marked by God. The enemy does not attack those who are not a threat to his kingdom.
Those who are called will face trials that seem unfair, betrayals that cut deep, and struggles that test their faith. They may wonder why they face so much difficulty while others seem to walk an easier road, but this is part of the process. God allows his chosen ones to go through these trials to strengthen them, to refine [music] them, and to prepare them for what is ahead. Those who have a great calling often endure great struggles, not because God has abandoned them, but because he is equipping them for the battles they will face >> [music] >> when they fully step into their purpose.
Perhaps the most profound sign of being chosen is a transformation of desires.
When God calls someone, he begins to change their heart. What once seemed important begins to lose its hold. The things of this world become less appealing, and a hunger for the things of God begins to grow.
Those who are chosen will find themselves drawn to prayer, to worship, to the word in ways that cannot be explained. There will be moments where they feel the presence of God so strongly that it brings them to their knees. They will begin to crave time with him more than anything else. It is not something they force. It is something that happens naturally as the spirit of God works within them. And as this transformation continues, they will begin to see that their desires align more and more with the will of God.
For those who recognize these signs in their own lives, there is only one response. Surrender. To be chosen is not simply to be called, but to answer the call. It is to say yes to God, to lay aside every doubt, every fear, and every excuse, and to step fully into his [music] plan.
The signs are not given to create confusion, but to bring clarity. Those who are chosen must embrace the call, for in doing so, they will walk in the fullness of the destiny that God has prepared for them.
There is an undeniable transformation that takes place in the life of someone who has been chosen by God.
It is not a minor shift or a gradual change that occurs over time by mere effort.
It is something supernatural, >> [music] >> something that cannot be explained by reasoning alone.
When God places his hand upon a person's life, their heart, their desires, and their entire being begin to change in ways they never anticipated. The things that once mattered no longer hold the same significance, and a new hunger is birthed within them.
>> [music] >> One that is not satisfied by anything this world has to offer.
This transformation is one of the clearest signs of a divine calling. It is not something that can be imitated, nor is it something that can be forced.
It is a work of the Holy Spirit that marks a person as chosen and sets [music] them apart for God's purpose.
The first sign of this transformation is a deep, unrelenting desire for the presence of God. This is not the same as simply enjoying church services or appreciating spiritual things. It is something far greater.
Those who are chosen will find themselves longing for moments with God more than anything else. They will wake up in the morning with a desire to seek him, and they will go to bed with thoughts of him filling their hearts.
They will crave time in prayer, not because it is a duty, but it is their lifeline. The presence of God will become more real to them than anything in the physical world. There will be moments when they are caught up in worship, where time seems to stand still and nothing else matters except being with him. This hunger is not something they can control. It is a supernatural work of God that pulls them closer, drawing them into deeper levels of intimacy with him. Along with this hunger comes a shifting of priorities.
The things that once brought satisfaction begin to lose their appeal.
Entertainment, worldly pursuits, and even relationships that once seemed essential start to feel insignificant in comparison to the things of God. It is not that they suddenly despise these things, but rather that their heart is no longer tied to them in the same way.
Their perspective changes. They begin to see life through an eternal lens, understanding that what truly matters is not what they can gain in this world, but what they can store up in heaven.
They no longer chase after the same things as before because their spirit has been awakened to something greater.
The more they draw near to God, the more they recognize the emptiness of everything outside of him.
This transformation also brings an undeniable conviction. When God calls someone, he does not allow them to remain the same. There is a refining process, one that is often uncomfortable but necessary. Those who are chosen will begin to feel a strong conviction about things they once ignored. Sin will become unbearable to them. What they once excused, they will no longer be able to tolerate. The Holy Spirit will begin to highlight areas of their life that need to change, and they will feel an urgency to surrender these things.
They may try to resist at times, but the conviction will not go away. It will press upon their hearts until they yield.
God does not call people and leave them in their old ways. He transforms them so that they can be vessels of his glory.
Those who are chosen will feel this refining fire, and though it may be difficult, they will understand that it is preparing them for their purpose.
Another significant sign of this transformation is an unexplainable boldness. People who were once timid, who avoided confrontation, or who were hesitant to speak about their faith will find themselves compelled to declare the truth. It is not arrogance, nor is it a desire to draw attention to themselves.
It is a holy confidence, one that comes from knowing that they have been called by God. They will feel a fire within them, one that cannot be extinguished.
They will speak with authority, not because they have trained themselves to do so, but because the spirit of God is working through them. They will not fear the opinions of man, nor will they be swayed by opposition. Their passion for God will outweigh any desire for approval, and they will stand firm even in the face of adversity.
This transformation also brings an overwhelming sense of love and compassion. Those who are chosen cannot look at the world the same way they once did. Their heart will begin to break for what breaks God's heart. They will see people differently, not just as individuals, but as souls in need of a savior.
There will be moments when they feel an inexplicable burden for others. Moments when they are moved to tears over the lost. This love will not be something they force. It will flow [music] from within them as a result of the work God is doing in their life. They will feel compelled to intercede for others, to reach out, to show kindness even when it is undeserved. This is not a natural love. It is a supernatural love that reflects the heart of God.
But before the heart can enter, there is no or.
For those who recognize this transformation in their own life, there is only one response, full surrender.
To be chosen by God is not a light thing. It is a calling that demands everything.
The transformation is the evidence, the sign that God is doing a work that cannot be ignored. Those who are experiencing this shift must understand that it is not accidental. It is God's way of setting them apart, of preparing them for the purpose he has designed for them. The only question that remains is whether they will embrace it. To resist is to live in frustration, always feeling the pull but never answering [music] it. But to surrender, to fully embrace this transformation, is to step [music] into the fullness of what God has intended. And in that place of surrender, they will find the greatest joy, the deepest peace, and the fulfillment that nothing else in this world can provide.
There is a fire that burns within those who have been chosen by God. A fire that cannot be extinguished, no matter how hard they try to ignore it. This fire is not born out of personal ambition, nor is it something that can be faked or imitated. [music] It is a divine compulsion, an unshakeable drive placed within the heart of the chosen.
No matter where they go, no matter what they do, they cannot [music] escape it.
They may try to ignore it, suppress it, or even run from it, but it follows them like a shadow, always reminding them of their divine calling. This fire is not a fleeting emotion. It is a deep and [music] abiding burden that grips their soul. It keeps them awake at night, stirring their heart in ways they cannot explain.
It is a holy restlessness and inner knowing that they were created for something greater than themselves.
Those who are chosen will find that this fire pushes them beyond their comfort zone. It does not allow them to settle into complacency or be content with a normal life. They may try to live like everyone else, to blend in, to follow the path that seems easiest, but something inside them refuses to be silenced.
This fire makes it impossible for them to ignore the purpose for which they were created.
They may attempt to distract themselves with worldly pursuits, chasing success, relationships, or material things, but none of it satisfies. They will always feel that tug, that inner stirring, that undeniable call pulling them back to God's purpose. This is not a burden they can simply set down. It is part of their very being. To ignore it is to live in frustration, always feeling a sense of unfulfilled purpose.
With this fire comes a supernatural endurance. Those who are chosen will face trials, opposition, and difficulties, yet they will not be able to quit. Others may give up when things get hard, but those who are called by God will find that they cannot. Even when they feel weak, even when they face rejection or discouragement, they will find themselves pressing forward. This is not by their own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit within them.
They will be tested, refined in the fire of adversity, but they will not be consumed. Instead, the trials will only make them stronger.
The challenges they face will purify them, shaping them into vessels fit for God's use.
It may feel unbearable at times, but deep down they will know that they cannot turn back. Something greater is at work in their life, something that compels them to keep going.
This fire also brings a clarity of purpose. Those who are chosen will begin to see beyond the distractions of this world. What once seemed important will fade into the background, and their vision will become focused on the eternal. They will begin to see their life through the lens of God's plan rather than their own desires. They will understand that they were not created for their own pleasure or comfort, but for a divine mission. This realization will set them apart, causing them to walk a different path than those around them. They will no longer be swayed by the opinions of man because they are consumed by something greater. They will no longer be driven by fear because their purpose outweighs their personal concerns.
This clarity will give them confidence, allowing them to move forward with boldness, knowing that they are walking in the will of God.
Another mark of this fire is an unshakeable passion for souls. Those who are chosen cannot turn a blind eye to the lost. They will feel a deep burden for those who do not know God. They will find themselves moved with compassion, unable to ignore the brokenness of the world around them. They will be grieved by the sin and suffering they see, and they will feel an overwhelming desire to bring hope to those in darkness. This passion will drive them to intercede, to reach out, to love even when it is inconvenient. They will not be able to remain silent when they see people perishing without God. It will not matter if they are misunderstood or rejected because their heart will be set on something far greater than human approval.
This burden will weigh heavily upon them, pushing them to action, compelling them to step out in faith, no matter the cost. For those who feel this fire within them, there is only one choice, surrender. To resist is to live in constant inner turmoil, always feeling the weight of a calling they refuse to answer. But to surrender, to give themselves fully to the will of God, is to experience the fulfillment they were created for. When they finally say yes, when they stop running and fully embrace the fire that has been placed within them, they will step into a life of supernatural purpose. They will see doors open that no man can shut. They will experience the power of God in ways they never imagined. They will walk in a divine authority that can only come from complete surrender. And in that place, they will find what their heart has been longing for all along.
The joy, the peace, and the deep satisfaction of knowing they are exactly where God wants them to be.
There is a deep transformation that takes place in the life of those who are chosen. It is not a mere change of habits or behavior. It is a complete renewal of the heart, mind, and spirit.
When God calls someone, he does not leave them as they are. He begins a work within them that reshapes their very being.
The desires they once had begin to shift, and they find themselves drawn toward the things of God in a way that cannot be explained by human reasoning.
This transformation is not something they can force or manufacture on their own. It is the work of the Holy Spirit moving within them, breaking them, molding them, and preparing them for the calling upon their life.
This transformation often begins with a season of breaking. Those who are chosen will go through moments of deep surrender where everything they once clung to is stripped away.
They will experience moments where they feel as though God is tearing down everything familiar, everything comfortable. This is not to harm them, but to rebuild them according to his purpose.
The breaking is necessary because God cannot use a vessel that is still full of itself. Pride, self-reliance, and worldly ambition must be removed before they can fully step into their calling.
This process is painful, and at times it may feel like everything is falling apart, but in reality, God is putting things into place.
What seems like loss is actually preparation.
What feels like an ending is really a new beginning.
As they go through this transformation, they will notice a shift in their perspective. The things they once valued will begin to lose their hold on them.
What once seemed important, recognition, success, comfort, will fade in comparison to the weight of their divine assignment.
>> [music] >> They will no longer be concerned with impressing people or fitting in because their focus will be on eternity.
They will begin to see things through God's eyes and this new vision will guide their decision. They will no longer be satisfied with a life that is lived for personal gain. Their heart will burn with a desire to fulfill the will of God, no matter the cost. This is a radical transformation, one that changes not only their actions, but the very core of who they are.
Along with this transformation comes a purification of motives.
Those who are chosen will find that their intentions are tested. God will not allow them to serve him with selfish ambitions. If they are called to ministry, it will not be for the sake of building a name for themselves.
If they are called to lead, it will not be for power or influence.
If they are called to give, [music] it will not be for applause. God refines their motives, stripping away anything that is not aligned with his will.
This process ensures that when they do step into their calling, they are doing so for the right reasons.
It protects them from the dangers of pride and ensures that their heart remains pure before God. This transformation also brings an increased sensitivity to the presence of God.
Those who are chosen will find that they cannot live without him. They will develop a hunger for his presence, a longing that nothing else can satisfy.
They will desire to spend time with him not out of obligation, but out of necessity. Prayer will no longer feel like a ritual, but a lifeline.
Worship will no longer be an act, but a way of life. They will find that they are drawn into deeper intimacy with God >> [music] >> and in that place of closeness, he will reveal things to them that others do not see.
They will gain insight, wisdom, [music] and understanding that cannot come from human knowledge.
They will hear his voice more clearly, guiding them, instructing them, and preparing them for what is ahead.
>> [music] >> With this transformation comes a deeper level of trust. Those who are chosen will find that their faith is no longer shallow or dependent on circumstances.
They will learn to trust God even when they do not understand what he is doing.
They will walk by faith, not by sight, believing that he is leading them even when the path is unclear. This trust is developed through trials, through moments when everything in the natural seems to contradict the promises of God.
But as they hold on, as they refuse to let go of what he has spoken, they will see his faithfulness in ways they never imagined. They will come to know him not just as savior, but as provider, as healer, as deliverer.
Their relationship with him will deepen, and their confidence in his plan will grow stronger. Finally, this transformation brings an unshakable boldness. Those who are chosen will not be timid or fearful. They will walk in authority, knowing that they have been sent by God. They will not be moved by opposition because they understand that they are not operating in their own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. They will not be silenced by criticism because their identity is rooted in God, not in the approval of man. They will stand firm, speaking truth even when it is unpopular, standing for righteousness even when it is costly. This boldness is not arrogance. It is a confidence that comes from knowing who they are in Christ.
It is a courage that enables them to fulfill their calling without hesitation, without compromise, and without fear.
For those who are chosen, this transformation is not optional. It is the necessary process that prepares them for the work ahead. It is the fire that purifies, the breaking that rebuilds, the refining that strengthens. And in the end, when they look back, they will see that every trial, every loss, every moment of surrender was worth it.
Because through it all, God was shaping them into the vessel he intended them to be, one that is fully surrendered, fully empowered, and fully ready to carry out the divine calling upon their life. When God calls someone, there is an unmistakable anointing upon their life that sets them apart. This anointing is not something that can be earned, nor is it something that can be taken away by human hands. It is the divine empowerment of the Holy Spirit that enables a person to fulfill the work they have been chosen to do. This anointing is not a momentary experience, it is a continuous flow of God's power that rests upon those who have been set apart for his purpose. It is not something that can be explained with human words, but it is something that can be felt, seen, and recognized.
It is the presence of God upon a life working through them in a way that no human ability could ever accomplish.
Those who are truly called by God will carry this anointing wherever they go.
It is not confined to a pulpit, to a church building, or to a particular setting. It is something that follows them, something that others can perceive even without them saying a word.
It is the power that causes people to be drawn to them, not because of their own charisma or talent, but because of the presence of God within them. This anointing is what makes the difference.
It is what enables a person to speak and lives are changed. It is what allows them to pray and miracles happen.
It is what gives them the authority to step into places of influence, not by their own strength, but because God has placed his hand upon them.
This anointing cannot be imitated. Many may try to copy the words, the actions, or the style of those who are truly anointed, but the power cannot be duplicated. The anointing is not about outward appearances, it is about what is within.
It is birthed through intimacy with God, through surrender, through obedience.
It is not given [music] to those who seek their own glory, but to those who have laid down their lives for the sake of the kingdom.
>> [music] >> The anointing is not for personal gain, it is for service. It is not given to make a name for oneself, but to glorify the name of Jesus. My beloved sons and daughters, have you ever prayed until your voice [music] cracked, until your tears soaked the pillow, until you felt there was nothing left to say, and still nothing happened?
You fasted. You waited. You believed.
And yet, the door stayed shut. The healing didn't come. The breakthrough never arrived.
You began to wonder if heaven was ignoring you.
If God had denied your request. If perhaps you were unworthy of what [music] you asked. But hear this today, God is not denying you.
God is preparing you. Too often we mistake [music] divine preparation for divine rejection.
When it feels like [music] nothing is moving, God is often moving the most. When it seems like you're going backward, God is actually [music] pulling you back like an arrow, cuz you're about to be launched forward. What you call delay, God calls development. [music] What you perceive as silence, God calls setup.
You see denial, [music] he sees a foundation being laid for something greater than what you even imagine. The enemy wants you to believe that God's not yet [music] means no. He whispers lies that twist your faith, that drain your endurance, that make you question if God is even listening.
But I came [music] to tell you, the waiting is not punishment.
It's preparation.
God is sharpening your character, strengthening your endurance, stretching your faith, because what he's preparing you for requires more than what you currently carry. You asked for a blessing, God's preparing you to be the kind of person who can hold it, protect it, and not lose it. And before we go any further, I want you to look into the depths of your own soul and ask, do I trust God even when he doesn't give me what I asked for when I asked for it?" That answer right there will reveal the difference between those who follow God for comfort and those who follow him through fire.
That's the word.
That's the message.
That's the revelation.
And if you don't understand this, you'll misinterpret your entire season.
You'll see closed doors as rejection.
You'll see unanswered prayers as abandonment.
You'll start believing that God favors others more than you. You'll stop praying. You'll stop believing.
And you'll start walking in spiritual frustration instead of spiritual formation.
But the truth is this, God loves you too much to give you something that will crush you.
He knows what you're not ready for.
He knows what will break you before it blesses you.
He knows what will tempt you before it transforms you.
And he knows how to hold back the thing you want so he can build up the person you need to become.
At number three, think of Joseph. He saw the dream at 17, but he didn't step into the palace [music] until years of betrayal, prison, and silence passed.
Was God denying Joseph? No, God was preparing Joseph because the palace required a man who knew how to forgive.
A man who knew how to interpret dreams with humility. A man who had been through crushing enough to carry the weight of national destiny. Had God given Joseph the throne without the prison, he would have been too arrogant to handle it. Too fragile to hold it.
Too immature to sustain it.
But the delay was the lesson.
The prison was the preparation.
The silence >> [music] >> was the sanctification.
And the promotion came right on time.
>> [music] >> God's time.
Some of you are asking God for things your character hasn't caught up with.
You want influence, but can your ego handle the applause? You want marriage, but are you willing to love when it's hard, when it's lonely, when it costs you your pride? You want ministry, but can [music] you preach with power when nobody collabs, when nobody sees you, when the spirit convicts you before you open your mouth? You say you're ready, but God sees what's in [music] you that still needs breaking.
So, the delay is not denial, [music] it's mercy. It's molding. It's the hand of God taking his time to shape you in the secret place, so you don't [music] crumble in the spotlight. Everyone wants elevation, but few are willing to embrace the isolation that [music] comes before it.
God doesn't microwave purpose. He bakes [music] it slow. And some of you are in the oven right now. Hot, uncomfortable, confused.
But if you come out [music] too soon, you won't be fully formed. Stay in the fire.
Let it refine you.
Because what God is preparing you for requires durability.
It requires depth.
It requires a foundation that shallow faith can't support.
You've been asking for the blessing. God has been answering with becoming.
You've been asking for the next level.
God has been digging your roots deeper.
You've been asking to go forward. God has been pulling you aside to build the muscles you'll need for the weight of what's coming. [music] Don't mistake stillness for abandonment.
Don't confuse discipline with distance.
God is not far from you.
He's nearer than he's ever been, whispering, working, weaving every moment together for your good and his glory.
But you must trust the process.
You must believe that his delay is love in disguise. Because when the day comes, and it will come, when he opens the floodgates and pours out what you waited for, you'll look back and say, "If he had given it to me then I would have ruined it."
But now, I'm ready.
So, hear this again. God is not denying you. God is preparing you. And if you can receive that, not just in your mind, but in your spirit, you'll walk through this season not with frustration, but with expectation.
Not with doubt, but with endurance.
Because you'll know, this is not the end. This is the becoming.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11.
That's not a feel-good slogan.
That's the eternal voice of God speaking through generations. When God said those words to Israel, they were in exile.
Not comfort, not celebration, captivity.
Their cities were destroyed, their temple in ruins, their hearts were crushed. And in the middle of that chaos, God says, "I still have plans for you. Not to destroy you, not to abandon you, but to prosper you."
Do you see it now? God's plan often unfolds in places that feel like punishment, but it's not punishment, it's positioning.
It's preparation.
God said to his people, "You'll be here for 70 years.
But after that, I will bring you back and fulfill every word I spoke over you."
They wanted escape.
God was working endurance. They prayed for rescue.
God was building roots.
Because the promise still stood, but it had a schedule.
And you cannot rush the timing of a perfect God.
Look at Joseph again.
Genesis 50:20.
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."
He said this to the very brothers who betrayed him.
That's not a bitter man talking. That's a prepared man speaking.
A man who had been shaped, not just saved.
A man who understood that what looked like destruction was actually divine orchestration.
You want New Testament proof? Let's talk about Jesus.
Even Christ, the son of God, waited 30 years before [music] beginning his ministry.
Was he not ready at 12 when he was in the temple astonishing teachers?
He was ready, but timing wasn't.
The Father had an appointed hour.
And until then, Jesus stayed hidden, growing in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and men. If the son of God submitted to preparation, why do we despise the process?
Galatians 4:4 [music] says, "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his son."
Not before, not late, but at the fullness.
Because God doesn't [music] bless partial readiness.
He waits for fullness, completion, wholeness.
And for some of you, that's what he's doing right now.
You're not being overlooked.
You're being filled.
You're not being denied. You're being developed.
So, the [music] next time you're tempted to believe God has forgotten you, open the word.
Read his pattern.
He never rushes greatness.
He never shortcuts maturity.
Every promise he made came to pass, [music] but only after the preparation was complete. Waiting is one of the hardest [music] things a believer will ever do.
Not because God isn't faithful, but because we don't see what [music] he's doing.
We are a generation that hates silence.
We measure progress [music] by movement.
We equate absence with abandonment.
[music] And when God doesn't move on our timeline, we assume he's not moving at all.
But waiting is not a pause.
It's [music] a process. And that process reveals your heart more than the promise ever will. Some of you are angry at God because you think he said no, but the truth is, he's still writing the yes.
He's just not finished [music] with the chapter yet.
You're judging the story in the middle.
You're doubting the author before the climax. And what you call delay is actually [music] divine patience.
Waiting for you to be ready for what you asked for.
Emotionally, waiting feels like being ignored.
It feels like prayer is bouncing off the ceiling. It feels like fasting is useless. Like worship is empty.
But God does his best work in the dark.
Seeds don't grow in sunlight alone.
They grow when they are buried, hidden, silent, covered.
That's where roots form.
That's where strength is born.
You're not being ignored, you're being rooted.
Look at Hannah.
She cried in the temple so desperately that the priest thought she was drunk.
She had prayed for a child year after year watching others be blessed while her womb remained closed.
But what she didn't know was that God wasn't just giving her a child. He was preparing her to birth a prophet.
Samuel would anoint kings.
He would shift nations.
And that kind of calling requires a mother who knows what it means to weep before the Lord. The delay wasn't denial.
It was holy preparation.
Some of you're asking, "Why is it taking so long?" Because what God is birthing through you isn't normal. It's not casual. It's not common. It's kingdom.
And kingdom assignments require kingdom endurance.
So don't curse the delay.
Don't abort the process.
Don't let your feelings lie to your faith.
The ache you feel, the loneliness, the frustration, the silence, it's valid, but it's not the truth. The truth is this, God is with you.
God is forming you.
God is teaching you how to lean.
How to listen. How to last. You're learning how to worship without rewards.
How to trust without evidence. How to wait without compromise.
And that kind of waiting turns ordinary believers into unshakable warriors.
So hold on.
Hold on when nothing makes sense.
Hold on when every prayer seems unanswered. Hold on when your faith is hanging by a thread because in the waiting you're not being weakened.
You're being woven.
Knit together by the hands of the potter, stretched, shaped, smoothed.
And when he's done you'll be ready for the very thing you thought he denied. Preparation doesn't feel holy, it feels hard. It's not poetic, it's painful. It's the part of your story nobody claps for.
The secret tears, [music] the silent trials, the hidden disappointments, the dreams that seem to rot in darkness.
But this is how God works. He builds people in obscurity before he reveals them in glory.
You're praying for the platform.
God is hammering away at your foundation because what's built too fast will fall just as quickly.
Look at David.
Anointed king as a teenager. But what did God do next? Did [music] he rush him to the throne? No. He sent him back to the pasture, back to feeding sheep, back to fighting lions and bears in the dark while no one was watching.
Why?
Because thrones require more than oil, they require character.
You can't lead armies if you can't endure [music] isolation.
You can't wear a crown if you collapse under criticism. And God will never promote [music] what your character can't support. So he sends you into the wilderness not to punish you but to prepare you. You're crying over the job that didn't come through, but God saw the pride in you that would have been fleeting.
You're weeping over the relationship that ended, but God saw the broken [music] places in you that would have bled on them.
You're frustrated that ministry doors haven't opened, but God sees the insecurity you hide behind sermons.
He knows what the spotlight can expose and what it can destroy.
So before he shows you off he strips you down. Before he gives you power, he teaches you purity. Before he gives you visibility, he instills a vision. Oh, God's process is flow on purpose, because he's not interested in building someone that's just impressive to people.
He's building someone that's useful to him. And usefulness doesn't [music] come from talent, it comes from trust, from testing, from trial, from falling down and getting [music] back up, from learning obedience not through blessings, but through suffering.
That's the word. [music] Though he were a son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered. Hebrews 5:8. So if it feels like God [music] is crushing you, know this. He crushes grapes to make wine. He refines gold through fire. He strengthens muscle by resistance, and he builds leaders through loss. Not to destroy them, but to develop them.
You're not being broken without purpose.
You're being broken so you can be poured out.
Because empty vessels don't leak, they overflow.
And God is making sure you just carry a blessing, but that you become a blessing. Don't fight the fire.
Don't resent the pressure. This is God's holy workshop, the sacred forge of your future. What you learn here, patience, humility, endurance, will be the very things that sustain you when the promise is fulfilled. He's not withholding, he's equipping. You're not being overlooked, you're being overhauled.
And when it's time, when you're ready, not when you say you're ready, but when he says it, you won't have to knock the door down. The door will open on its own.
You've been asking God, why hasn't it happened yet? But today I challenge you to change the question. Stop asking why it hasn't come and start asking what is God doing in me while I wait.
That one question will transform your entire season.
Because most people want relief.
But God wants refinement. You want arrival, but God wants alignment. You want fruit, but God is still digging at the roots.
And if you don't shift your perspective, you will misread the season and abort the process. You'll call it punishment.
God calls it pruning. You'll call it stuck. God calls it stillness. And let me tell you something, some of the greatest moves of God in your life will begin not with motion, but with stillness.
God said, "Be still and know that I am God." Not run around, panic, post about it, call everybody, scroll for distraction. No. Be still. Why?
Because stillness reveals your source.
It strips away your control.
It forces you to face what you actually believe.
When you can't manipulate the outcome, when you can't make it happen, when you've done everything you know how to do, and nothing shifts, do you still trust him? This is a season where God confronts your motives.
Did you want the blessing more than the blesser?
Did you want the breakthrough or the intimacy that only the waiting can bring?
See, God isn't just trying to answer your prayer. He's trying to transform your posture.
That's why he'll delay the answer until your pride has bowed, your will has bent, and your heart has yielded.
Because what good is the promise if you lose your soul in the process?
What good is promotion [music] if you forget the one who promoted you?
And what good is purpose if it drives you away from the very presence that sustains it.
That's why he'll keep you in the wilderness, not to torture you, but to teach you.
He's not just trying to get something to you.
He's trying to build something in you.
But here's the shift.
Stop measuring God's love by the speed of [music] your answered prayers.
Start measuring it by the depth of your transformation.
If he hasn't moved yet, it's not because he's late.
It's because [music] he's not finished.
And when you come out of this, you won't just receive what you prayed for.
You'll be the kind of person who can protect it, sustain it, and multiply it.
You thought God was holding you back, but he's actually [music] holding you up, strengthening your legs, stabilizing your heart, anchoring your soul, because where you're going isn't for the faint [music] of heart. You asked for more.
More influence, more anointing, more favor, and God heard you.
But more requires [music] maturity.
And maturity doesn't come from speed. It comes from surrender.
So, today, let go of the timeline, lay down your expectations, [music] and pick up your cross.
Because when you finally stop chasing the blessing, and start chasing [music] the blesser, you'll realize the waiting wasn't a waste.
It was the womb of your calling.
Leave this plane.
This message isn't just for ancient [music] saints and biblical heroes. It's for you.
For the single mother working two jobs, still believing God for healing in her home. For the man who's been faithful in his calling, but keeps getting passed over for promotion. [music] For the young woman who's been waiting on a godly spouse while watching everyone else walk down [music] the aisle.
For the believer who gave everything and yet the door didn't open. This is for you. You are not [music] forgotten.
You are not left behind. You are not denied. You are being prepared.
You prayed for the job and it didn't come and now you're wondering if you [music] missed God. You didn't it.
God is refining you in this season not to embarrass you, but to expand you.
You cried over the relationship that ended and you thought wasn't that the one?
But God saw what you couldn't see.
What it would become 5 years from now.
He cut it now to protect your future.
That closed door saved you from a lifetime of compromise. That no was really mercy in disguise.
Some of you have been serving in silence. You give, you help, you pour out but nobody sees you.
Nobody celebrates you, but let me remind you heaven sees what people overlook.
The applause of men fades, but the reward of God is eternal. When no one else acknowledges you, he does and he never forgets the seed sown in secret. In fact the word says your father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6.
And let's talk about timing cuz that's where the real struggle lives.
You thought by now >> [music] >> it would have happened. You had a plan, a timeline, a vision board, but things didn't unfold like you imagined. And now you're standing in the middle of an unfinished promise wondering if it was all a mistake.
But here's the truth.
God's plans are not bound by your calendar.
Just because it didn't happen when you thought doesn't mean it won't happen at all.
God's delays are not his denials. They are [music] divine pauses with purpose.
That delay might have protected your peace. That wait might have spared you from spiritual warfare you weren't ready to handle. That prolonged process might be the very thing strengthening [music] your roots so your future doesn't collapse under pressure.
You see waiting, but God sees [music] weaving.
Intertwining every thread of your life into something glorious.
So, take heart. Look again. Your waiting isn't empty. It's pregnant with promise.
Every unanswered prayer, every tear, [music] every silent night.
He's using it. He's storing it. And when the time is right, >> [music] >> not a second too soon, he will open the floodgates.
And it will make sense. You'll say, "Now I see it. Now I know why it took so long.
Now I know why the door was closed. God wasn't denying me.
He was developing me."
And he's speaking to your spirit [music] right now.
Not just to where you are, but to where you're going.
This is not the [music] end. This is the middle.
This is the shaping.
This is the stretching.
This is the season that makes giants out [music] of ordinary people.
And the enemy has been whispering lies, telling you it's over, telling you you've missed it, telling you God forgot.
But I cancel that voice in Jesus' name.
You are right on time. You may feel like you're in the [music] dark, but seeds grow in the dark.
You may feel buried, but you've actually been planted.
And when the rain comes, and it will come, [music] you'll break through.
Not just to survive, but to thrive, to flourish, to carry weight, to bless others, to lead with authority.
You're not behind. You're becoming.
The crushing, the pressing, it's producing an oil in you that can't be faked, an anointing that only comes from fire and faithfulness.
You've been faithful in the drought.
Now, get ready for the downpour. You've worshipped with tears. Now, prepare to worship with testimony. You've endured the night. Now, morning is on the way.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
And when your morning breaks, it won't be a drizzle.
It'll be a flood.
God will pour out what you couldn't earn, what you couldn't make happen, what you nearly gave up on.
Hear this in your soul. Your latter days will be greater than your former. You will laugh again. You will dance again.
You will testify with boldness that God is good. Not just in theory, but in real life.
Because you'll have the scars and the story.
You'll walk into rooms with quiet authority.
You'll carry peace that makes no sense.
And when people ask how you got there, you'll say God prepared me.
Don't lose heart.
Don't give in.
God is using to build you.
Good marriage has many other names.
Don't lose heart.
Don't give in to your fear or no.
God is using to build you.
It's kissing is raising through your awareness but exnight the lies.
Let it decolonize you.
God is pure.
Pure.
The fantasy of the real because when the page turns and it will turn you won't just receive what you prayed for.
You'll be the kind of person who can carry it, protect it, multiply it, and give him all the glory.
Now that you've heard this word, the question is no longer, why is God making me wait? The question is, will I trust him in the middle?
Because real faith isn't proven on the mountain top, it's proven in the valley.
In the hallway between the prayer and the promise.
God is not looking for part-time believers.
He's raising up a generation that will say, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust him."
Job 13:15.
So today, the call is simple.
Obey. Not when the door opens. Not when the blessing comes. Not when you feel goosebumps in worship. Obey now.
In the dry place.
In the lonely place.
In the unseen place. Because obedience in the dark qualifies you for elevation in the light.
Don't wait to feel ready. Don't wait for circumstances [music] to shift.
Faith moves first. Faith says yes when sight says [music] no. Faith steps out when logic says sit still.
Noah built an ark when there was no rain.
Abraham [music] left home without knowing where he was going. Moses stretched a rod over water before it parted. And Jesus carried a cross before the resurrection came. [music] If you're waiting to obey until it's easy, you'll never move. But if you can obey when it's painful, [music] when it costs you, when it looks foolish, that's the kind of obedience that shakes heaven. So, what is God asking you to do in this season of preparation?
Is he telling you to forgive someone?
Then do it.
Is he calling you to release control?
Then let go.
Is he inviting [music] you back to intimacy? Then return.
Don't delay obedience.
Delayed obedience is still disobedience.
[music] And obedience is the key that unlocks the next door.
You may not feel strong.
You may not feel qualified. [music] But God never asked for your confidence.
He asked for your yes.
Because your yes is the seed, his power is the harvest. All he needs is your surrender.
All he needs is a [music] heart that says, "God, even if I don't understand it, I still follow you."
So, now after everything you walked through, every delay, every closed door, every silent season, every [music] tear-stained prayer, stand firm in this truth.
God has not denied you. God is preparing you.
He's not [music] punishing you.
He's protecting you. He's not late.
He's right on time.
And when he moves, you'll realize he was [music] working the entire time.
Don't despise the silence.
Don't resent the process.
Don't abandon the journey because the very thing you thought would break you has built something unshakable inside you.
And when the promise comes, and it will, you won't be surprised. You'll be ready.
You look back at the pit, the prison, the wilderness, the hidden years, and you'll say with full confidence, it was all necessary. Every moment was preparation. Every step was a setup.
So, here's your invitation, not just to believe, but to boldly declare it.
Right now, with all your heart, say it with me.
God isn't denying me.
God is preparing me for more.
Say it again, louder, stronger, until your spirit hears it, until your doubt shrinks, until your fear dissolves.
And when this video ends, don't let the word end with it.
Let it live in your prayer. Let it show up in your worship. Let it fuel your obedience. Let it anchor your waiting.
And then share it.
Not just with your voice, but with your life.
Because somebody else needs to hear what God is doing in you.
You are not behind. You are not forsaken. You are not done.
