The video provides a necessary defense of theological integrity against the incoherent blending of traditional faith with modern occultism. It effectively exposes how contemporary syncretism uses Christian language to mask fundamental contradictions in practice.

Christianity is Being DISTORTEDAdded:
I think it's totally fine to be a Christian and a witch. All right, what do Christian mystics believe about tarot?
>> What's up, guys? Welcome back. So, Christianity is being redefined by the day and thanks to the internet, it's spreading. And we're going to take a look at some clips today of how people are saying that you can mix witchcraft and Christianity and how it's fine.
Obviously, it is not. And this is a growing trend. So, we're going to take a look at that today. But first, before we get into it, if you're new here, my name is Cali. Welcome. And if you're not new here, welcome back. And let's get into it. Here's my Christian witch list. I think it's totally fine to be a Christian and a witch. A witch is usually just the term to disenfranchise a spiritual woman. As a Christian, you cannot practice magic that hurts people or magic that attempts to control the elements of nature, the elements of God.
Bible obviously doesn't condemn witchcraft.
>> So, the Bible absolutely uh condemns witchcraft both in the Old Testament and the New Testament. And I used to tell myself the same excuses. you know, being raised Christian. Um, when you start getting involved in this stuff, you start basically you're in denial and you start saying like one of them what I well one of them which I would say was, "Oh, well the three wise men were astrologers so I can be an astrologer and study astrology." And you start making up excuses like that. But the Bible definitely does um condemn and all forms of witchcraft. And we have here Deuteronomy 18 condemns divination, sorcery, witchcraft, medium, spiritist, consulting of the dead. Galatians 5:19 list sorcery among works of the flesh.
1st Samuel rebellion is as sin of witchcraft. And Revelations 2:18 includes sorcerers amongst those who are judged. So the Bible definitely condemns all forms of witchcraft. You can't mix the two together. The Bible is prophecies, raising people from the dead, healing people, everything.
>> The supernatural events in the Bible is not the same as witchcraft. And you can't compare the two. I keep seeing people blur the line and try to compare Christianity to witchcraft using these same arguments. And you can't do that because it what matters is the source of where it's coming from. So in the Bible, these supernatural events that we see and stuff are coming from God, the creator. In witchcraft, you are working with dark demonic entities. That's where you are getting the power from, revelations from, prophecy, all of that.
It is coming from demonic entities.
Whereas in the Bible, the supernatural stuff that's happening is coming from God. And I just keep seeing this online of people likening the two together and it doesn't work. But a lot of people think that it does now watching videos like this.
>> Number one, I call myself a witch and I call my friends witches. So, if I call you a witch, it just means I think you're spiritually in tune. It's very important for me to call myself a witch because that's what I am. I am a woman practicing alignment with God, alignment with source, whatever you want to call it. And I am not afraid to call myself that because it's reclamatory. As a Christian, I don't practice these things. I don't sit there and try to figure out the future because you're not supposed to control the elements. You just become one with them. Become one with God, source, the universe. align yourself with that energy and then God uses you as a vessel of that. And to try and control the elements is to be ego first in your spirituality. I don't practice magic. It's just a byproduct that comes along with being in tune with God, which I obviously practice.
So you are not spiritually aligned with God if you're partaking in practices that scripture warns about.
It's not God that you are in alignment with. And I could tell you who that you're in alignment with doing that, but it's not God. So, next we're going to watch a video from a Christian mystic teaching about tarot cards. She's doing a series on Tik Tok talking about how great tarot is and how it doesn't it's not divination. It's not sorcery. It's not witchcraft. It's none of those things and how it's perfectly fine as a Christian to use tarot cards. So, we're going to take a look at this video next.
All right. What do Christian mystics believe about tarot? A lot of you who have been watching my Christian mystics series have seen some of my videos using tarot cards and you have questions and I understand. So today I'm going to answer. Keep in mind that not all mystics think the same thing about these cards. This is my opinion backed by what I've read from contemporary mystics.
I'll say this as well. Um not all mystics use tarot. That's the whole point is that we all kind of can discern what is the right way for ourselves. But Christian mystics who don't use tarot tend to not go by the belief system that these are banned by the Bible or that these are a tool of the devil or of deonation. They just stay away from them largely for like the cultural and theological baggage that can come along with them. So today I'm going to tell you my opinions on these. Not to change your mind, not to tell you to come do tarot or not do tarot. This entire series is about telling you about what other people, what alternative belief systems have to say about the Bible, about tarot, about all these other things, and you can decide for yourself and trust yourself enough to figure out what works for you. Okay? So, this is one of the biggest themes that we see in modern spirituality. The authority shifts inward. So, it's no longer what God says, scripture. It's all about you, how you feel about it. Um, your intuition, what you feel is right for you, not what God says in scripture says. And your own personal resonance becomes how you measure what's spiritually true. And we see this now even in modern-day therapy. We see this also along with modern spirituality. I always say that tarot cards is like a gateway drug, if you will, into occult stuff. And now it's being marketed for children. and they have kids tarot cards and it's at like Barnes & Noble and you get them online and they're everywhere and they look so cool and colorful and the designs and everything and you know you always hear the same um in beginner spaces what they'll tell you is you know they're just archetypes and it's the fool's journey and and all the trials and tribulations that humans go through in life and you know it's just a reflection a mirror of what's going on internally and stuff and that's always how it starts But typically somebody that keeps on doing the tarot, that's not how it stays.
>> I think a common reason why mainstream Christians think that tarot is not something that they can do is because they've been told it's a tool of devonation or fortuneelling. And yes, it can be used that way, but like most things, I think that it's usually the intention, not the tool that can be the problem. Many Christian mystics don't consider tarot at all to be a a form of futureelling, but rather it is a series of archetypes and images that are designed to open and expand the mind to help with contemplation. And if if used alongside of prayer and access to the Holy Spirit, it can be a way of helping to discern God's will in your life and in your path and in your relationships.
In fact, some of you might have even gone to therapy sessions where the therapist pulled out cards that looked like these but weren't called tarot cards and asked you to look at the picture and say what that picture means to you. Again, it's a way of plumbing our inner world. Mainstream Christians will say, "Well, those cards, those are contemporary cards. They're a tool of psychology. These are a tool of the devil." And to that I say, these were made by a Christian mystic. One of the main creators of tarot is a Christian mystic and that is why you see so much Christian iconography all throughout.
For example, many of these cards represent biblical ideas like death and resurrection. Uh the fool childlike faith, strength, overcoming our inner demons. The star having hope in the divine. Temperance practicing self-restraint. Justice pursuing what is just. And the hierofphant seeking out religious authority and God's will. Does everyone who practices tarot interpret the cards this way through this biblical lens? No. But that is absolutely one way that they are used. So for Christian mystics like myself, using these cards is just one more way of trying to access what is mysterious to us. For myself, when I sit down to use tarot, I will read scripture first, usually from the Psalms or maybe from one of the gospels.
Then I will meditate for a little bit and pray. And whatever it is that I am wanting to know from God, whether it is a direction for my life, whether it's experiencing him more or understanding him better, I will ask the Holy Spirit to use these cards to help me interpret the imagery to unlock things that he's trying to tell me that I have a hard time understanding on my own.
>> So, she said that she prays to the Holy Spirit to help reveal things to her and for guidance and to show her what the cards are saying and the messages. And I think this is what's so dangerous about this videos like this because it is Christian language infused into divination practices. You know, it's not like um a Satanist sitting there with a pentagram and tarot cards. This hits different for people. They see this and they say, "Oh, maybe it's not so bad."
Myself included. I was doing the same type of stuff. I would pray before, during, after. I thought I was praying to God. I thought the divination I was doing and psychic readings and tarot readings and everything else that I was working with God, but obviously that's not true. You know, um, sincerity doesn't make something biblically aligned. And I again, I think that this is videos like this is very dangerous because a lot of people are falling into this with the, you know, packaging up tarot cards that way or angel cards and stuff. It sounds nice. It sounds uh healing and peaceful and you know like oh let me get a message from my angel and stuff but it's all uh divination and witchcraft at the end of the day. I cannot believe that we are almost at 10K probably within a matter of days going to hit 10K. I appreciate all of you so much. You guys are awesome. Um you liking my videos, hyping them up, commenting and also let me know down below what you guys think about these videos. how um I know there's a lot of people leaving the occult, but it's also becoming very mainstream now and a lot of people it's weird like people are leaving the occult to go to Christianity and there's a lot of people leaving Christianity to go over into the occult.
It's like people are like swapping places. So, we live in interesting times. So, thank you all so much. I appreciate all of you. Um I'm going to link a video on screen. So, if you have not seen it, go ahead and watch it. And I will see you all on the next one.
