It is a textbook example of how "highly educated" bureaucrats use complexity as a shield to protect their own inefficiency against a common-sense solution. Their refusal to implement a $20 million fix proves that for the administrative elite, maintaining the process is more important than solving the problem.

The Simple Fix Canada REFUSES To UseAjouté :
Listen, I mean, for [ __ ] sakes, will mortgage income document fraud in this country ever [ __ ] end? Cuz it sure as [ __ ] doesn't look like it, right? It's this is the fight of my life. 10 [ __ ] years I am fighting this thing, okay? to bring in a the simplest tool, a simple digital checkpoint through CRA that just gives an answer to one single question.
Is this document fake or real? And we've I won't bother you with all the technicalities, but we've nailed it down to one single number. Just one number.
So all that there's we're not looking at anybody's tax returns. Nobody and only the bank is doing this and there's no other tax information besides the confirmation of one single number. And guess what?
Every other rational country does this.
The United States has been doing this, I don't know, 19 years or maybe rolling over into 20 now. Um to stop fake income documents. They just there's an automatic checkpoint at their IRS that just says, "Oh, yeah, no, this is this is real." Same in Britain, you know, send it to the Inland Revenue. Oh, yeah.
No, this is real. You're good. Guess what? Once every [ __ ] crook knows that this checking is going on, the fi fake document business for mortgages just vanishes overnight. It [ __ ] vanishes because that's what it's all about. Now, wait a second. Before everybody starts saying, "Ron, the bank should do better work themselves."
Here's the news. The [ __ ] documents are so good. They're perfect. They're absolutely perfect. The tax documents you get are flawless. If you take them to CRA and say, "Is this is this a CRA document?" Until they actually checked against the income in the system, they could not tell the difference. They're ex precisely as good as the the real thing. are exactly the same as the real thing. Because let's face it, if you can make a [ __ ] ton of money doing that and all it takes is Adobe and a little bit of AI, why the [ __ ] not? If you're a fraudster, why the [ __ ] wouldn't you?
So, I've gotten close on this. You know, myself, the mortgage brokers association, like banks, everybody wants this. Everybody want People say, "Oh, no, Ron. The banks don't really want it." No, [ __ ] off. They want it. They want it. The banks are fed up and done with mortgage document fraud. They're done with it. They don't want any [ __ ] part of it. Okay? They want it to end.
Mortgage brokers want it to end. Well, Ron Hey, the most of the mortgage brokers are crooks. Well, guess what?
There's crooks in every goddamn profession. Okay? There's crooked plumbers. There's crooked lawyers.
There's crooked everything. Okay?
But the majority, the vast majority of everyone working in the mortgage business wants to end fake documents in the mortgage business. That's it.
Fighting forever 2024 got the department of one good man, Andrew Beavenon, in the finance department said, "I will work this out.
We will put it in the budget and it will happen." And he did. Honest man. And guess what?
He moves on to another job with just the nature of things in Ottawa. And then CRA says, "Oh, no, no, we're just too busy to do this. We're just too busy. We don't we don't know if we want to do it." Now, bear in mind the government said to do it. CRAAS got We got 55,000 [ __ ] people at CRA. Couldn't find a half a dozen to get the work done or obviously they're way too [ __ ] busy.
the 55,000. Okay. To stop fraud. Oh, who cares? It's not really our thing. Fraud isn't really our mortgage fraud isn't really our thing.
Oh lord. Okay. So, it just dies. It just dies. It It's just It's It's Go back and push it. Go back. Push.
Push. Push. Push. You know what? All the politicians agree. It doesn't matter which side. Liberals, conservatives, you name it. Doesn't matter. They all agree.
They say, "You're right. You should stop this [ __ ] It's [ __ ] stupid. Stupid.
Stupid. Stupid." But the bureaucracy of CRA is a black hole that once it goes in, no light comes out. It's gone. It's gone. And they will just keep [ __ ] slowing it down. Say it. They say some they come up with some new stupid [ __ ] like oh uh we think it'll cost nearly oh it might cost as much as $20 million cuz remember in Ottawa remember arrive scam you know like the uh 68 or $88 million app app that a couple of college students could have cooked up in their basement with you know 324s of beer and we got charged like $68 million for it by a couple of fraudsters. Um, yeah, they, you know, 20 million to do this this thing. Well, guess what?
The banks will pay. Like, they've agreed to pay. The banks are behind stopping this 100%.
No questions asked. We want to stop it.
It's going to cost 20 million. Let's do it. Okay. They could even turn this thing into a profit center. They could charge every time they did a pull on this. Just like you pull a credit bureau, you pull the confirmation. And remember before everybody starts to say I don't want my my information is confidential. I don't want it. Guess what? We somebody gave us the documents already. So the confidentiality has vanished. Here are the documents. All we're asking for is it true. Are the documents real or fake? That's all we want to do. If you did this mortgage mortgage document fraud, fraud for fake income documents, it dies overnight. It's gone. It vanishes in the countries that use it. And by the way, yeah, in the US and Britain, there is no document fraud for mortgages. There is no fake income documents. There's other kinds of fraud.
There's always sort of some sort of fraud going on. But that particular kind of fraud, zero. It's gone. There's none of it.
Okay? We can have that here because guess what? The mortgage fraud [ __ ] chickens have come home to roost in Bmpton. Okay. And a little bit in Suriri. Okay. Other all all across there's all there's, you know, the the the mortgage fraud disasters are coming to the top. They're the the the tide is out. All the naked mortgage fraudsters are standing there with their dicks in their hands. Okay, that's what's going on here. The look, mortgage fraud wasn't that massive of a deal to a lot of people and it wasn't very much caught and nobody seemed to worry about it because if you go on a 13-year run from 2009 all the way to 2022, the price of homes goes up. If anybody gets in trouble because they used fake documents, they just sell the home for more money than they paid for it. Everything was was fine. Okay, guess what? when the values start dropping, the [ __ ] hits the fan.
And all across Canada, people are using it's it's really focused on a couple of cities, but all across Canada, the [ __ ] hits the fan, and the values are plunging. The power of sales are happening. The defaults are mounting because part of it's obviously a chunk of it to do with um foreign students.
They're they vanished. So, people are using fake income documents to buy big houses to stuff them with 25 foreign students. That's all blown up. But look, two big deals. Number one, it is completely [ __ ] unfair that everybody else is put through the ringer and and sometimes turned down for a mortgage when somebody using fraudulent documents just gets approved like that. Okay, that is a key unfairness that must end. Okay.
Secondly, like all there's all kinds of people in these towns and cities which are falling in value that never did any mortgage fraud, but the mortgage fraud exacerbates the destruction of property values. So then these people are [ __ ] along the way with the fraudsters. Okay, look, this is so simple. CRA, just [ __ ] do it.
Governor of Canada, just tell CRA, smarten the [ __ ] up, CRA, just do this thing now. End mortgage document fraud in Canada [ __ ] now.
