[00:00:14]We want to make sure this calf doesn't jam on its way out of this heer. This is the last heer to calav of the year. The other heer here we kept in just cuz she had twins and we wanted to give her some extra groceries before we kick her out on grass. She's doing great. Hopefully this is a healthy calf. comes out smooth. And we'll leave uh the five of them in here, sisters and children, eat a little more hay for a couple of weeks.

[00:03:36]Update on the little guy. He has made it through the night. He has been sucking his mama to get some milk and some nutrition. Oh, hey. Hey, sweet little guy. Right now, he thinks he's hiding from daddy. I'm not as Anyway, update on the new baby. Uh, she is doing fine. Or he, I'm sorry. It's a boy. Little bull caf got jelly beans.

[00:04:05]Our c his mama number 53 is also doing fine. You know, I've I've been watching this calf. It's been a week and I've been super concerned because I think it went a while a little while without oxygen. The way that when it it it got pushed out, breathed a breath of fresh air, went back in. When it came back out, tongue was just like for about 30 minutes. Well, anyways, it finally got her out, pulled him, and um he walked around weird for a day or two, but now he's fine. So, I don't think there's been any brain damage. And then the twins here, they've been sticking around for a while. have been trying to get this uh their mama a little extra groceries. I think it's time that both the new baby, the last heer calf, and the twins. Uh so, two cows, three calves can go to walk-o. But I'd like to differentiate the twins from everything else. So, I'm going to go ahead and air tag them first. Pablo's going to help us uh flank a calf. Whoa.

But we're going to sell him regardless. But had he been a heer, I bet we could have kept her. Like that calf right there. Look at that calf looking at us. Like that's just clearly our big Angus bull's calf. It's also bigger. And then look at this little red calf sucking that mama. Like the hair is different, but also the frame is different. Those calves are really close to the same age, but that one's just not there yet. Cows are fun. Cows are fun.

So now you're trying to like make it a smooth ride without helping yourself like the spurring motion keeps it is what makes it smooth. All right, one more horse, then two bulls, then two more horses.

Just just keeping on your face, get back to the basics of just like getting on bulls, getting better each time. One thing I will say is what I realized with bucking horses was I remember in Fort Worth or something. I made a good ride. We were really tired and I felt like I had to like called it a dog fight. And I remember like Jacobs was behind the shoots and he was like, "How was that?" And I was like, "Man, it was a dog fight." And he kind of looked perplexed. And when I watched the video back, especially at Fort Worth, like it was kind of just a horse and kind of just a ride. But for me, it was a great ride. that I had to like really try and go above and beyond. And what I'm getting at is for you to keep your feet up in front and down below you and in front of that bull rope, it might be all that you got right now. It might be a dog fight and it's just like, dang, this is tie monster. I shouldn't have to have a dog fight. Yeah, maybe that's just how it is every bull ride. And then when you get to Kai Hamilton's, maybe it's feels like less of a dog fight, especially on tie monster, but there's just a new bull out there that it's a dog fight. You know what I'm saying? But that's what I realized. I was like, when you get to this level, this is new for me. Like just cuz I was had been to the Ammy Finals four times, that and and those horses 36 3C6 was a walk in the park, that doesn't mean I'm going to get to Fort Worth and a bucker there as a walk in the park. No, this is a new level. So what I'm saying is if you if you want to ride 10 out of 10 of my bulls back here, I got nine bulls. If you want to ride every single one of them, I bet you eight of them in your mind, let's say you do after you got you got eight out of nine qualified rides on Dale Brisby's Bulls. I guarantee you seven of those eight you're going to be like that was a dog fight right now in your in your career right now. I think that and what I'm saying is and then maybe one of them felt like a day off. But the point is is like you're at that breaking point where like if you're gonna finish a ride strong, like dude, you got to freaking hustle that foot back up there and you got to hustle this one back up there.

[00:19:48]There's not like a point where you're just like made it because then you're going to get on a ranker bull and you have to go back to dog fight. You know what I'm saying? You cannot just cuz you've ridden this bull 8 seconds numerous times, that doesn't mean that it's a gimme. That's that's the video game thing I talk about. Like you hit pause on level three on Mario and you walk off and go have lunch and come back and you hit start again, you're on level three still. Rodeo doesn't work like that. You start over every ride. You start back on level one every ride. So like get yourself in a dog fight here for the fundamentals. That's what I think.
